Abstract

This study aims to know the role of farmer groups in increasing rice farming income in Baru Tahan Village, Moyo Utara sub-district year of 2018-2019. This study was a descriptive. The type of data in this study was qualitative data. Sources of data in this study were primary and secondary. The populations in this study were Seventeen of farmers groups in Baru Tahan Village. The sampling technique used in this study was the Snowball sampling technique. The numbers of samples were 9 from farmers group and 4 from Baru Tahan government. The analysis technique used in this study was qualitative data analysis, which consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Based on the results of study showed that the role of farmers groups that were greatly felt by members of farmers group and the communities in increasing the income of rice farming in Baru Tahan Village, Moyo Utara district was as a medium of instructor and information, procurement of seeds, recipients of fertilizers and farming tools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know whether there was a significant effect of the variables of working Period (X1) and discipline (X2) simultaneously and partially toward Service revenue Acceptance (Y) for civil servant (PNS) in Integrated Service Unit (UPT) of Unter Iwes . Type of this study was associative, which is research that aims to know the influence of independent variable toward dependent variable. The data used was secondary with data collection techniques using documentation. The analytical tool used in this study was classic assumption test, multiple linear regression test, t and F statistical tests, and the coefficient of determination (R2).The findings in this study showed that the working period variable did not have a significant effect toward Service acceptance revenue of civil servant (PNS) in Service Integrated Unit (UPT) of Unter Iwes, Unter Iwes sub-district while the discipline variable had a significant effect toward service revenue acceptance for civil servant (PNS) in integrated service unit (UPT) of Unter Iwes, Unter Iwes sub-district. Simultaneously, the Variables of working Period and Discipline had a significant effect toward Service revenue acceptance of civil servant (PNS) in integrated service unit (UPT) of Unter Iwes, Unter Iwes sub-district. The variable of working period and discipline affected the service acceptance revenue variable of 79.0 percent. This value proved that working Period, discipline and facilities had an influence toward Service revenue with a high level of correlation so that the relationship was very significant (meaningful), while its remaining of 21.0 percent was caused by other variables outside the scope of the study such as salary, performance, allowances and others.

Abstract

This study aims to know the efforts to develop a tourist village in improving the welfare of the people of Teluk Santong village, Plampang Sub-District, Sumbawa District. Type of this study was qualitative descriptive study. The data collection technique used was participant observation in the form of direct observations that had done by researcher by involving oneself in various activities in the tourist village. The method of data collection was done through unstructured interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study was qualitative data analysis which includes data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusion and verification.The results of data analysis showed that the Teluk Santong tourism village had many natural potentials that can be developed into a tourist village. This was also supported by the willingness, ability, enthusiasm and good communication and can increased economic capacity and creating jobs so as to improve the welfare of the communities in Teluk Santong village.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the implementation of the principles of good government in village financial management in Poto Village, Moyo Hilir District in 2019. Type of this study was descriptive research. The data used was qualitative obtained directly from the source through interviews and observation. The informants in this study consisted of the government and some community leaders. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Technique to analysis data was used qualitative Miles and Huberman which consisted of data collection, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of study showed that of 9 principles of good government governance, there were 5 principles that had been applied, namely the principle of law enforcement, care to community, oriented towards consensus, effective and efficient and fairness. Meanwhile, 4 other principles had been implemented but not yet fully, including the principles of community participation, transparency, responsibility and accountability. The results of the discussion showed that not all principles of good government governance can be implemented in village financial management in the Poto Village government, Moyo Hilir Sub-District.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the financial performance of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Sumbawa District using the principle of value for money, namely economic ratios, efficiency ratios and effectiveness ratios. The type of data used in this study was quantitative data obtained from existing secondary sources and collected using documentation techniques. The data that has been collected was analyzed using value for money analysis techniques which were measured based on economic ratios, efficiency ratios and effectiveness ratios. The results of study showed that the financial performance of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Sumbawa District if viewed from the economic level in fiscal year of 2010-2018 was got fluctuated and was categorized as economic, due to the economic ratio level was of less than 100%. If seen from the level of efficiency in fiscal year of 2010-2018 it was categorized as efficient and inefficient, because the efficiency ratio was less than 100%. If seen from the level of effectiveness in fiscal year of 2010-2018 it was categorized as effective and ineffective because the effectiveness ratio was more than 100% and some were less than 100%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the income and worthiness of swallow cultivation in Lunyuk District. Type of this study was a descriptive study with qualitative data types. Data were collected directly from primary sources through interviews and observation. The populations in this study were all swallow businessmen in Lunyuk District with number of population were 20 people and the entire population was used as census sample. The results of data analysis showed that the income obtained from swallow cultivation in Lunyuk District was higher than the costs incurred. Thus it can be concluded that the swallow cultivation business in Lunyuk District had advantages so it was feasible to continue.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the level of education on the number of poor people in West Sumbawa District. The variables in this study are the level of education as the independent variable and the number of poor people as the dependent variable. Data collection is obtained by documentation, observation, and literature study. Data were analyzed by calculating simple linear regression, statistical t test and coefficient of determination test (R2). The education level is divided into 3 levels, namely basic school, middle school and higher school. The results showed that the level of basic school had an effect on the number of poor people by 16.8%, the level of middle school had an effect on the number of poor people by 73.1%, The level of higher school had an effect on the number of poor people in West Sumbawa District by 48.3%.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim to know and analyze the strategy of developing woven cloth handicraft businesses in increasing revenue in Lengas Hamlet, Poto Village, Moyo Hilir Sub-district. Type of this study was descriptive, a study that aims to know the value of the independent variable without connecting or making comparisons with other variables. The data used in this study was qualitative data in the form of informants’ answer obtained directly from the source through interviews. The informants in this study were headman, Cooperative, Industry and Trade Office and the woven cloth business actors in Lengas Hamlet, Poto Village, Moyo Hilir Sub-district with number of informants were 20 informants. The data analysis method was done using SWOT analysis technique. The findings of this study showed that the calculation results of the IFE and EFE matrices obtained a total score that position the woven cloth handicraft business in Lengas Hamlet, Poto Village, Moyo Hilir Sub-district in the IE matrix on cell IX, which was in decrease condition. The IE matrix was adjusted with the SWOT Matrix into possible alternative development strategies, namely minimizing the use of capital, increasing promotional activities, placing businesses in strategic locations and optimizing the use of technology to increase production volume.

Abstract

This study aims to know how the influence of regional spending toward economic growth in Sumbawa district during the period of 2012-2018. This study was an associative study with a quantitative approach. The type of data used in this study was secondary data collected through the documentation method. The data collected were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis techniques, t test and the coefficient of determination (R2). Based on the results of study, obtained a simple linear regression equation, namely Y = 55.194 - 4.058 LnX + e, the constant value was 55.194. This constant value states that if the independent variable (regional spending) was equal to zero, then the economic growth in Sumbawa Regency will be 55.194 percent. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination was 0.255 percent. This showed that the realization of regional spending contributed 25.5 percent toward economic growth, while the remaining of 74.5 percent was influenced by variables outside the regression model of this study. Based on the results of research using the t test shows that the results obtained from regional spending with a t-value of -1.308 were lower than the t-table of 2.571, which means that there was no significant or no significant (negative) relationship between regional spending on economic growth in Sumbawa district.

Abstract

Traders' income can be affected by many factors. In this study using two factors, namely capital and the number of work hours. This study aims to know the influence of the capital factor and the number of work hours toward the income of culinary traders in Jempol Beach, Sumbawa district. The type of research used in this study was associative with quantitative data. The data in this study was primary that have obtained through structured interviews. This study was conducted at Jempol Beach, Sumbawa district, with a population of 30 traders. The sample in this study were 30 respondents who were taken through saturated sampling technique (census). The variables used include capital (X1), number of hours worked (X2), and income (Y). The data analysis used was multiple linear regression (OLS) with a significance level of 5%.The results of study showed that partially the variable of capital (X1) had a significant effect toward the income of culinary traders in Jempol Beach, Sumbawa district, while the variable of number of working hours (X2) had no significant effect toward the income of culinary traders in Jempol Beach, Sumbawa district. Furthermore, the variables of capital and the number of working hours together have a significant effect toward the income of culinary traders in Jempol Beach, Sumbawa Regency, the influence of it was 61.6% while the remaining was 38.4% (100% -61.6%) was explained by other variables.
