Abstract

Garbage is material that is disposed of as residue from industrial and householdproduction. Garbage is the residue of human daily activities and/or natural processes insolid form (Law Number 81, 2012). The amount of waste produced in a certain area isproportional to the number of residents, types of activities, and the level of consumptionof the population for goods or materials. The larger the population or the level ofconsumption of goods, the greater the volume of waste produced (Sucipto, 2012).Selokerto Village is one of the villages in Sempor sub-district with an area of 150hectares. Based on preliminary results, it was found that most of the people of Selokertoare still not aware of environmental health with a classification of about 57% of residentsthrowing garbage and waste in rivers, 37% in the yard, 3% in the fields and 3% throwinggarbage in its place. There needs to be concern from the Selokerto village community tominimize the existing waste into the Selokerto village environment. This community service was carried out by conducting socialization about wastemanagement to the residents of Selokerto village which was attended by 30 peopleconsisting of RW, RT, Kadus and cadres. Before and after the socialization, a pre-test andpost-test of the residents' knowledge about waste management were conducted. Theresults of the pre-test found that 60% of the residents did not know how to process waste. And after the socialization, the post test results showed that 80% of the residents hadgood knowledge of waste management. After the socialization, residents were also invitedto do community service simultaneously in the Selokerto village area to maintain a cleanenvironment. In conclusion, there is a need for public awareness and the need for wastemanagement for the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness in theSelokerto village area.

Abstract

The National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) Pekalongan located in Jl. Majapahit No. 8was formed based on the Decree of the Mayor of Pekalongan Number: 451.1/392 of 2016.It has some activities such as carrying out the collection, distribution and utilization ofpublic funds in the form of zakat, and infaq/sadaqah in a professional and transparentmanner. Therefore, it is necessary to be audited by a Public Accounting Firm (KAP) as aform of accountability for financial statements to muzaki. As we know, these funds accepted by civil service staff (ASN) of Pekalongan City, deducted by the payroll clerks. This Zakat received in the last 2 years amounted to Rp.1,041,466,564 (2019) and Rp. 1,396,230,670 (2020), while the Infaq received was Rp.633,654,150 (2019) and Rp. 687,103,358 (2020). These funds are distributed to mustahikin the form of basic necessities for the poor, orphanages, underprivileged children, honorary employees, Koran teachers, ibn sabil, and amil. Besides, these ones are alsostored in the form of deposits and the profit sharing is used as operational funds. Every year the partners (the managers of Pekalongan BAZNAS) routinely makereports in the form of receipts and distributions (tasaruf) of these funds. However, thepartners do not yet have or make consolidated financial reports between zakat, infaq, and operational funds in accordance with applicable accounting standards, namely PSAK109. So that community service activities are needed in the form of assistance in theimplementation of zakat accounting based on the standard in the preparation of thefinancial statements of this agency. So, with the assistance, the Financial Statements ofBAZNAS can be audited by a Public Accounting Firm with a Fair Opinion.

Abstract

This service activity is intended for a group of people to empower economic independence (management aspects) and improve skills (hard skills and soft skills) (educational aspects) in the dimensions of strengthening promotions and improving marketing models for ornamental umbrella industry production in the Klaten area. The form of activity is in the form of training on web application design based on hypermedia engineering. A target audience is a group of craftsmen, namely groups of productive people who work as ornamental umbrella craftsmen in Klaten. The main problem found based on empirical observations in the field is that there is currently no more modern marketing model available to promote and market umbrella production worldwide. The main consequence of this is that product marketing has stalled so that it has an impact on the accumulation of product results among craftsmen. This has implications for abundant production stock so it is very detrimental in the calculation of the production process which in the end makes many craftsmen stop their business. One of the efforts to overcome this is by improving the promotion model and marketing tools through the use of hypermedia navigation technology. The main target of this activity is to empower and improve the skills of craftsmen in marketing products using modern web applications through hypermedia engineering. Activities are debriefing and in the form of training carried out using lecture, demonstration, exercise, and mentoring methods. The lecture method is used to activate the spirit of entrepreneurship and competition, as well as to explain the concept of online marketing and hypermedia technology. The demonstration method is used to demonstrate a work and learning process, namely the stages of designing and installing a modern web application with hypermedia, as well as presenting examples of how to pioneer a form of global promotion and marketing. Meanwhile, the training method is used to practice how to design and manage promotional content for marketed products and interconnect them in interactive hypermedia navigation. While the mentoring method will provide opportunities for participants (craftsmen) to consult directly and continuously in overcoming obstacles that arise during the training process and early implementation of hypermedia applications. Based on the activities that have been carried out, several conclusions can be drawn, namely a significant increase in the ability to master web applications and online marketing of the craftsmen and the potential for increasing product marketing on a global scale. The main obstacle in this activity is the low awareness of the craftsmen to increase their potential and competence.

Abstract

Berkah Bumi Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises located in Truni Hamlet, Candisari Village, Windusari District, Magelang Regency are a productive business unit that empowers women by processing local commodities, namely Madusari sweet potato into processed snacks. One of the processed products is grubi or yam kremes, in the form of chopped sweet potato fried dry and mixed with melted brown sugar. By deploying 20 workers, especially housewives, the grubi products have been marketed outside the island. Abstract

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are a burden for society in general and become a heavy burden for the Indonesian people, because NCDs are diseases that will be experienced by a person for a life time. One of the policies in controlling NCDs that is effective and efficient is empowerment and increasing community participation. The involvement of women's organizations is one of the activity to help government programs to prevent NCDs. One of them is Aisyiya. The process of this activity includes providing materials to increase understanding of NCDs early detection efforts through Posbindu activities, being trained to improve skills, as well as assistance in implementing activities. Activity results: Early detection of NCDs in implementation includes checking height, weight, blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol and uric acid. The results of the implementation, found many non-communicable diseases in the community, namely hypertension 31%, the incidence of Diabetes Mellitus, 6% and pre-DM 19%. Uric acid 26%, cholesterol 24%. These results illustrate the need for Posbindu cadres to detect NCDs early. Conclusion Cadres have the ability to detect risk factors and many people who are detected are at risk of developing NCDs. This activity went smoothly, the cadres were very enthusiastic to apply these skills in NCDs risk factor detection activities.
