JIHM merupakan wadah kreatifitas dosen dalam menulis karya ilmiah dalam rangka memenuhi kewajiban Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi dan sebagai informasi ilmiah yang bisa dikembangkan bersama untuk tujuan pengalaman pengetahuan di kampus. JIHM berkomitmen merangsang penelitian berdampak tinggi dan inovatif yang relevan bagi akademisi dan praktisi di industri pariwisata, termasuk manajemen, rekreasi dan event. Audiensi kami terdiri dari akademisi, mahasiswa pascasarjana, praktisi dan semua yang tertarik pada bidang penelitian pariwisata. Jurnal ini menerima artikel dari para praktisi dan akademisi serta penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Setiap makalah akan dinilai berdasarkan standar nasional, orisinalitas / inovasi, kontribusi terhadap pengetahuan, relevansinya dengan subjek dan kualitas penyajiannya. This research aims to determine the factors that give variation to the employee loyalty at Adhijaya Sunset Hotel. The method used in collecting sample is census. The sample used on this research is 73 peoples as respondents. The result from questionnaire were tabulated and analyzed using SPSS software version 20.0 for windows.The result was obtained after doing the principal component analysis of 17 variables that affect the loyalty employee can be reduced to 5 factors. Each factor was named resposibility and apreciation with eigenvalue of 5.444; power and allowance with eigenvalue of 1607,flexible rule and recognition with eigenvalue of 1.403,management and oppoturnity to grow with eigenvalue of 1.393; Desire to satisfy the need by working hard with eigenvalue of 1.053. The most dominant factor is resposibility and apreciation with eigenvalue of 5.444, with 32.002 % of variance which was made up by the variables of desire to have recognition, status and resposibility, work environment condition, communication.Â

Local entrepreneurs are still relatively weak in protecting their rights in the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) to maintain the value and economic benefits of the work or product that they produce. These weaknesses affect many parties/foreign entrepreneurs who are trying to register their works as IPR foreign entrepreneurs. This study used empirical research by analyzing problems that occur in the field. The purpose of this study is to find out the root problems that occur in the work of local entrepreneurs that is claimed by the parties/foreign businessmen. The results showed that a local genius with anonymous ownership is claimed to be state ownership, while exploiting local genius as a result of new work, new findings and packaging into a product of private or individual ownership. Type of awareness of local entrepreneurs in obtaining intellectual property rights depends on the intended target market. The law in Indonesia is only able to protect the intellectual property rights in our country, however if it is claimed in other countries, Indonesia law could not intervene or protect it.

Sangeh travel attractions tends to decrease the number of visitors, therefore it requires an innovative strategy to promote the tourism object. The aim of this study is to create alternative strategy in promoting Sangeh travel attraction. The data in this study was collected through deep interview and note taking or document recording. Then the data was analyzed using qualitative descriptive by giving explanation or interpretation from the data obtained. Therefore, the data was not only in term of numbers, but also there was a clear explanation of the numbers. In this study also used SWOT IFAS (Internal factor analysis summary) and EFAS (Eksternal factor analysis summary) and SWOT matrix technique in analyzing data.           The result of the study shows that Sangeh had not taken the opportunities maximally. The opportunities such the strategy route which is located around Sangeh is not maximal use. The promotion strategy applied through website with no update information by administrator. Besides that, in promoting the tourism object only involves the guest without doing any innovative ways in promoting the product. The highest weakness is there is no cooperation with travel agency. Besides that, external threat includes many similar tourism objects with more attractive products.

Employment status is a condition in which differenciate the employees from one another in the companies. In fact, employment status can be divided into permanent and non-permanent employees. Organizational commitment in terms of employment status becomes an important variable for improving the performance of employees who show confidence and strong support of the values and goals to be achieved by the organization. The purpose of the study is to analyze the influence of organizational commitment to employee performance, and to analyze the status of personnel in the moderating influence of organizational commitment to employee performance at Yayasan Dharma WidyaUlangun Denpasar. The analysis technique used is one way Anova test and dummy variable moderation test.  The results showed that: the organizational commitment has positive influence to the employee’s performance. These results can be interpreted that the higher organizational commitment, the performance of employees are increased, employment status could not moderate the influence of organizational commitment to the employee’s performance. These results can be interpreted that the employment status could not strengthen the influence of organizational commitment in an effort to improve the employee’s performance.

This research aims to know the relationship of five pillars of tourism development in Nusa Penida, Klungkung regency, Bali. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The method is used to get data or descriptive explanation about the potency of tourism development and the role of five pillars in Nusa Penida. Data will be analized use descriptive qualitative analysis. The result of the research is the relationship of five pillars of tourism development (tourist attraction, accessibility, amenities, ancillaries, dan community involvement)in tourism development in Nusa Penida, Kabupaten Klungkung-Bali, have a positive effect to social, economic, and environment in Nusa Penida.

Employee satisfaction totally cannot be separated from the fact that employee satisfaction can be achieved when all goals can be fulfilled in performing the duties. Motivation of employees in an organization can be considered either simple or complex problem since humans are basically easy to get motivated by giving what to be desire. The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of work motivation upon employee performance in star-hotels in the area of Lovina, Buleleng and identify the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance in star hotels in the area of Lovina, Buleleng.This research area is located in Lovina, Buleleng. The samples used in this study were 97 employees coming from of three, four, and five stars - hotel in Buleleng, Lovina. Multiple linear regression method was used to explain the pattern of the relationship between the factors of individual character, the perception of fairness, and performance.Based on the results of data statistical calculations on the influence of work motivation and job satisfaction on employee’s performance, it showed that motivation and job satisfaction simultaneously influenced the employee’s performance in stars – hotels in Lovina, Buleleng; partially work motivation and job satisfaction variables affected the performance of employees at the stars - hotels in the heart of Lovina Buleleng; as well as the dominant influence on the motivation of the employee's performance in the area of Lovina, Buleleng.

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of work stress and compensation upon employee’s peformance on hotel employees in Lovina, Buleleng. This type of research was descriptive quantitative, including reviewing the effect of work stress (X1) and compensation (X2) on the dependent variable which was the performance of employees, and also analyze the effects of job stress and compensation altogether on employee performance. The research instrument used was questionnaire, and the populations in this study were 100 employees at the five-star hotel in Lovina, Buleleng.From the results of the T test and F can be seen that the stress of work and compensation partially affected employee performance in which: 1) Work stress gave negative and significant effect on employee performance; 2) Compensation gave significant positive effect on employee performance; and 3) Stress and compensation work altogether gave no significant effect on employee performance.

The study aim is to design and develop the Balinese cooking and language class as a tourism attraction of special interest in Bedulu, Gianyar Bali to create an atmosphere that is really close to Balinese culture, in turn will create a travel experience which is more experimental and memorable for the visitors. All Balinese ingredients will be introduced in Balinese language. The urgency of this study are as follows: (1) there is potential in Bedulu village as a tourism attraction that is unique and leads to special interest destination through some of the cultural heritage and beauty of nature, (2) the cooking class that has been presented needs to be developed further so that the visitors can obtained a travel experience which is more experimental and memorable through the participation of local community, (3) the geographical location of Bedulu village which can be positioned as the area of special interest tourism destination of educational and cultural. This research method is Design and Development Research. This study is to design and develop sistematically from the process of designing and developing the Balinese cooking by introducing several Balinese terminologies in cooking. The Balinese cooking class should be designed and developed by considering the hygiene and sanitation standards, health and benefit.

Tourism is believed to deliver both positive and negative impact. This phenomenon occurs in one of the indigenous villages of Baduy tribes, where the village is “isolated†from modern development of urban areas. This study used several variables that written in an interview manuscript, created based on some literatures about indigenous tourism product development; tourism impact perspective, and tourists motivation. The data have been collected are then combined using two approaches both quantitative and qualitative or known as a “multi-methodâ€. Data obtained through questionnaires was presented by the chart (in the form of quantitative), and described into a sentence. While the interview data will be put into the interview manuscript, which subsequently combined with the results of questionnaires and observations. This study found that the Baduy village has a variety of potential that can be packaged as a tourism product, such as: have the cultural and natural attractions that still maintained its authenticity, a location away from the frenetic urban communities began receiving tourism activities. Surveys in this study also found that, variables such as cultural tourism products, local communities and nature is considered very important and can attract urban travelers. This is evidenced by the results of the questionnaire, where tourists visiting Baduy village, dominated by teenagers who mostly still a student and travel in groups. While the motivation of their visit was mostly to leisure in a way out of the urban routine. The effects of tourism activities on the socio-cultural environment, the economy and the environment have not seen significantly. Advice and feedback to the Baduy Tourism Village are to strengthen the rules and regulations village environment so as to anticipate the changes that can occur if the pressure changes constantly occur tourism at the Tourism Village Baduy. In addition, increase the role of local communities should also be improved by involving the community in organizations such as the travel conscious group.

Tourism has very important role to face AEC era, which began in 2015. Indonesia has had an agreement to ratify the globalization of labor markets through the WTO since 1994 and in 1999 declared himself in G20 membership. Many foreign investors invest their shares in Bali, it makes local people less motivated to open the field of employment. It urged a challenge for tourism human resourcse in Bali. Certification of competence for tourism human resources to face AEC is very important and essential. Tourism competency certification program that has been created by the government should be utilized maximally either by assessors in tourism or tourism human resources in Bali. The position of top managers at star-rated hotels in Bali which has been widely taken by foreign human resources, will be taken over by local tourism human resources in Baliwhich have the compentecy certification. It will be happened if the human resorces competency meets the criteria of competence that requisited by the management.
