Abstract

Abstract–Gastritis or commonly referred as magh/ulcer is an inflammation that could result in swelling mucosa of ulcer and dyspepsia. Gastritis is one of the top ten diseases in Tanjung Beringin Health Center, Pesisir Selatan District and has an increase in the number of gastritris patients every year start from 2016 to 2018. This research was conducted with the purpose of knowing the cause of gastritis patients at the Tanjung Beringin Health Center, Pesisir Selatan District. In this research used primary data with shared some questionnaires to 88 people who suffer of gastritis in the Tanjung Beringin Health Center, Pesisir Selatan District. One of the statistical analyzes used in this research is factor analysis. Based on research result there two factors that being cause gastritis disease in patients at the Tanjung Beringin Health Center, Pesisir Selatan District 1) dietary habit, drinking caffeine/coffee habits and smoking 2) Age, drug habits and stress.Keywords–Gastritis, Dietary Habit, Factor Analysis.

Abstract

Abstract — One study in matrix theory is determinant. Matrix determinants are widely used in solving matrix problems, such as: determining eigenvalues, systems solutions of linear and inverse equations. In determining a determinant of a square matrix is usually not easy especially with a large order matrix. The concept of determinant that has been known is generally true for square matrices. In this research, it will be studied about its development, which is about the determinant of non-square matrix (rectangular matrix). This research is a theoretical research through library research on determinant theories and programming theories. The purpose of this research is to determine the determinant of a rectangular matrix using C ++ language. The method used is the analysis of theories relevant to the problem of calculating rectangular matrix determinants using the C ++ language. The results of thestudy are produced programs that can determine the determinant of a rectangular matrix.Keywords — determinant, matrix, radic method, programming.

Abstract

Abstract – Taxes are potential source of funds from the people and are used to build infrastructure and advance the economy of a country. The Calculation of estimated tax revenue targets that do not exactly have an effect on the various planned program activities. This research used the data of Indonesia tax revenue that obtained from Central Agency on Statistics Republic of Indonesia. This research aims to predict Indonesian tax revenue in 2019 using double exponential smoothing type Brown. The result of data processing obtained the forecast value of Indonesia tax revenue in 2019 using double exponential smoothing type Brown is IDR 1,734,847 billion. Keywords: Tax, Forecasting, Exponential Smoothing Type Brown Method

Abstract

BSL Store is one of the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in Tangerang Regency. The UKM produces various types of footwear, including leather shoes, sports shoes, casual shoes, and sandals. In order to increase sales profits and avoid product buildup resulting from a decline in market demand. BSL Store needs to optimize the amount of production to maximize profits or minimize losses by using the Branch and Bound and Cutting Plane methods in solving linear integer programming problems. Based on the research, we get the same results for Branch and Bound method and the Cutting Plane method. BSL Store must produce 531 pairs of leather shoes, 744 pairs of sports shoes, 676 pairs of casual shoes, and 826 pairs of sandals get an optimum profit of Rp.62,080,000.00 it means that these two methods can be used by BSL Store in determining the amount of production BSL Store.

Abstract

The rapid development of Information Technology today brings ease of work in variousfields, such as mathematics. Complex calculations can be completed easily and quickly just by using acalculator.  Calculations  can  also  be  done  using  an  application  program,  where  the  application  isdeveloped  using  a  programming  language.  Of  the  many  programming  languages  that  exist  today,including Java and VisualBasic. This research is a basic research where in this study an analysis of the programming language with matrix multiplication problems is carried out.The purpose oft his research is to see which programming language is better based on predetermined criteria. The research methodused  is  by  analyzing  the  algorithms  of  the  two  programming  languages  with  matrix  multiplicationproblems  based  on  relevant  sources.  The  results  showed  that  the  Visual Basic  is  better  than  the  Java based on these criteria.

Abstract

Abstract – Indonesia is the most populous country in the world after China, India and the United States. But Indonesia's large population is not followed by an even distribution of the population. Concentration of the population which is mostly fixed in big cities that have negative impact on the environment and the emergence of various social problems. Therefore, an effort is needed to find out which factors influence the inequality of population in Indonesia. This research was conducted with aim to get the model of factor analysis and factors that influence the inequality of population of Indonesia. This type of research is applied research. The data used1 was obtained from the SUSENAS Indonesian Statistics Agency (BPS) program in 2017 which were analyzed using factor analysis. Based on the research1 results obtained models of factor analysis and four factors that affect the unequal population in Indonesia, namely facilities and infrastructuries factors, environmental and housing factors, population independence factor, and population birth factor. Keywords: Factor Analysis, Population Amount, Inequality Problems

Abstract

Abstract – In this article discussed the mathematical model increacing influence of environment on consuming alcohol. This research was started by forming mathematical model increacing influence of environment on consuming alcohol in the of  non-linear differential equations system. From the analysis mathematical model increacing influence of environment on consuming alcohol, there are two types of equilibrium point. Free equilibrium point of consuming alcohol and equilibrium point of consuming alcohol. Terms existence and stability of the equilibrium point is determined by the basic reproduction number. Abstract

Abstract— Increasing the number of prisoners as well as the lack of security guards is a very serious matter faced by a prison. Events that have occurred where a security officer was threatened with a firearm in Pasir Pengaraian makes every correctional institution must always be vigilant and can regulate the security of correctional institutions in the right way. Prison Class IIB Pasir Pengaraian has limitations in the number of guards so that it requires the right method in making a guard schedule. The purpose of this study is to determine the shape of the model and the results of the Optimization of Class IIB Pasir Pengaraian Prison Guard Schedule with Goal Programming Method. Goal Programming Method is a method of solving linear programming cases that have more than one target to be achieved. By completing the scheduling model using the help of LINGO 17.0 software, the results show that with the Goal Programming method minimum morning shift guards are met, 7 people do not meet the minimum day shift guard, 4 people do not meet the minimum night shift guard, and no guards get a holiday-enter-holiday pattern. Keywords — Goal Programming, Prison, Scheduling.

Abstract

Abstract ––  The analysis of covariance is a statistical analysis  that combine the analysis of variance and regression analysis. Analysis of covariance is another technique of analysis that is used for improving the precision of an experiment. Suppose that in an experiment with a respon  variable  there is another variable, say covariate . This variable X can’t be controlled by experiment and linearly with  variable  . The purpose of this research to explaine the source of variation from analysis of covariance in design random complete with multiple covariates use matrix. For analyzing this research, that is analyzed sum squares and products for each source of variations. The result of this research , the source of variations contain error, total, and treatment. There is influence of regression that explaine covariates. Thus, this research also include hypothesis testing to know there is  influence of treatment with respons. Abstract

Abstract — Students need transportation to get to campus or other locations. The transportation needed is transportation that is safe, comfortable, and can access the destination in a short time. Traffic access to Padang State University is a heavy traffic lane, so it often experiences congestion. So transportation that can solve the problem is needed. Many types of transportation services are available in Padang City, but for certain locations it cannot be reached by using one transportation service, resulting in time and cost inefficiency. Goride is a Gojek service which is a two-wheeled vehicle transportation service, so its use can shorten travel time in the middle of a traffic jam. This type of research is applied research with primary data obtained from distributing online questionnaires consisting of 36 questions. The number of respondents was 90 students of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the State University of Padang, who had used the services of Goride at least twice. Basedion the results of the studys, two factors were found to influence it. The first factor is built by product, price, promotion, place and time, human, and process variables. The second factor is built by the variables of physical facilities and customer service. Keywords — Factor Analysis, Goride Online Transportations, Decision Factor
