Abstract

Abstract – This study discusses the optimization of production planning . Optimation is done by using goal programming method on the product of Kerupuk Bawang Fajar  in Indarung Padang. Problems that occur in this business is less optimal implementation of onion cracker production. The production process is not through careful planning. So often the excess of raw materials. This research’s purpose is to know the model for production planning and to know the result of production planning optimization on Kerupuk Bawang Fajar by using goal programming method. The form of goal programming model is an extension of linear programming, it’s just there are deviasional variables on the function constraints that serve to accommodate the deviation of the completion of the goal to be achieved. The optimal production of Kerupuk Bawang Fajar is the original garlic cracker as much as 792 packs / day, spicy onion cracker as much as 130 packs / day, carrot flavor cracker as much as 151 packs / day, potato garlic crackers as much as 130 packs / day, and purple sweet potato crackers as much as 90 packs / day. With profit maximization of Rp. 12.167.291 and a minimization costs of Rp 3.373.378.

Abstract

Abstract-Drugs are compounds that can affect the brain's functioning system. To slow the spread of drug users, which continues to rise, holistic treatment is used. The goal of this study was to determine the form of the SITRS mathematical model of drug user distribution by treatment and to interpret the results of the analysis of the SITRS mathematical model on drug user distribution by treatment. This is a fundamental or theoretical study. The human population is divided into four population groups in the development of a mathematical model: susceptible, infected, treatment, and removed. According to the model analysis, there are one equilibrium point free of drug users and one endemic equilibrium point with treatment for drug users. The stability analysis of the system resulted in a basic reproduction ratio of 0,1751824818 for the equilibrium point free and 4,61528461 for the endemic equilibrium point. Stability using eigenvalue criteria. The results obtained by each individual who becomes a drug user when receiving treatment on a regular basis can help to reduce the spread of drug users.

Abstract

Abstract – Traffic accidents are a problem that needs serious attention given the enormous losses incurred. West Sumatra is one of the provinces in Indonesia which has a fairly high accident rate. The problems of this study are the factors that influence significantly the mortality rate from traffic accidents in West Sumatra as well as how big the influence of these factors on the level of fatalities in West Sumatra. Data taken from the 2009-2012 in the Central Bureau of Statistics and West Sumatra police data. This research method using path analysis, a method that can analyze the factors that directly and indirectly to the death rate from traffic accidents. Factors that influence the mortality rate due to accidents directly is the number of accidents, while the factors that affect poverty indirectly the number of violations and the roads are damaged.Keywords – path analysis, accident, factors that affect accident.

Abstract

Buyer satisfaction is a human feeling that is described in the variable of words. This variable is not rigid so that its value cannot be calculated with certainty. So to feel directly the value of these variables can use fuzzy logic. Research data obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires based on indicators of service quality, product quality and price. The stages of the Tsukamoto fuzzy method are determining the fuzzy set for the input and output variables, determining the implication function, forming fuzzy logic rules, and performing defuzzification with a weighted average. Based on the results of the value of customer satisfaction obtained in subject 1 with a value of service quality 14, product quality 14 and price 10, the results obtained with a satisfaction value of 49.88.

Abstract

Abstract – Palm oil is one of the non oil and natural gas export commodities in Indonesia that has a high economic value and becomes one of the country’s foreign exchange earner. The increase of the world market needs of palm oil will certainly affect export activities. Therefore, the exports of palm oil for the next few years need to be predicted so that the government can make planning and do appropriate actions. The method used was the Tripel Exponential Smoothing Method Type Brown. This method is a one parameter quantitative forecasting method for time series data that are quadratic trend. The forecast accuracy measure used was Mean Square Error (MSE) to determine the ideal parameter. The forecast model obtained was . The forecast of the exports of Indonesian palm oil in 2015 to 2019 were between 24.509,329 thousand tons to 33.563,659 thousand tons. Keywords – forecasting, export, palm oil, tripel exponential smoothing method type brown

Abstract

Abstract— Milk have benefits as a type of healthy food. The nutritional content of milk has many benefits for the body. Ultra High Temperature Milk is one type of processed milk that has large demand by public. In order for people to choose the type of Ultra High Temperature milk based on the nutritional content they need. This study aims to determine the milk brand groups that have similar nutritional content and diversity of the nutritional content. Data that used in this research is secondary data which gathered from UHT milk’s producer from any website. Biplot analysis can be used to get the information of which group of UHT milk’s brand that has the same nutritional content. The result from Biplot Analysis showed that total fat content had a great diversity than the others in all milk brands, and there were 12 groups of milk brands that had similar nutritional content. Keywords— Nutritional Content, Ultra High Tempherature, Biplot Analysis

Abstract

Abstract— Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) is defined as the percentage ratio of the number of open unemployment to the total labor force. In 2018, for 5 provinces in Sumatra, those are the provinces of Riau Islands, Aceh, Riau, North Sumatra and West Sumatra, the OUR value was relatively high and exceeded the  OUR value in Indonesia, which was 5.34 percent. This study aims to look at the significant factors that influence OUR in Sumatra in 2018 at the best model obtained with research data in the form of secondary data obtained from the BPS-Statistics and analyzed using the Multivariate Adaptive Regression Spline (MARS) method. The best model obtained is the result of a combination of BF= 28, MI= 2, MO= 4 with the Generalized Cross Validation (GCV) value of 0,09413 as the minimum GCV value and the factors that influence the OUR, those are the independent variables X1, X2, X4, X6, and X7 with R2adj of 81.4 percent and factors that did not affect the independent variable were the number of households (X3) and the average expenditure per capita a month for food (X5). Keywords— open unemployment rate,  MARS,  GCV.

Abstract

Abstract­ – This study discussed about classification of Bidikmisi Scholarship Recipient. The classification was used by Classification and Regression Trees (CART) to college students who proposed Bidikmisi in Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty of State University of Padang at 2016. The purpose of this research is to determine characteristic of college student recipient and not recipient of Bidikmisi Scholarship based on seven variable that influence. Optimally Trees was obtained with choose the best separator based on maximal improvement values. Optimally trees was produced four variable, father’s occupation, mother’s occupation, Father’s Income, and building area. Characteristic of college student who bidikmisi recipient was parent’s occupation as farmer or etc. (as like as unemployment, the taxi bike, construction laborers, etc.) and father’s income  one million. While characteristic of college student that not bidikmisi recipient were Father’s occupation as civil servants, employees, entrepreneurship, or fisherman.

Abstract

Abstract – The nutmeg production of West Sumatra since 2011-2018 has decreased fluctuately, so that influenced society economi. The purpose of this research was to know the model and nutmeg production prediction result for the next time, also to know wich regency/town are not exploit the land optimally. The method that used was Tripel Exponential Smoothing Brown with parameter a and Profile Analysis. When determining parameter a, the Mean Square Error is used. While profile analysis was determined by comparing amount of product of land area with amount of nutmeg production, so that used parallelism test, coincidance, and level. The data that used was secondary data which it was obtained Central Static Agency publication of West Sumatra 2012-2019. The nutmeg prediction result at 2019-2023 sequentially in tonnes are 1255.95, 1261.38, 1266.94, 1272.65 and 1278.49. Here are some region that are not optimal yet, among them: Mentawai Island Regency, South Pesisir, Padang Pariaman, and Padang City. Keywords – total production nutmeg, triple exponential smoothing brown type, profile analysis.

Abstract

Abstract –The imbibition phenomenon is spontaneous flow of injected liquid (water) to the medium, causing displacement of native liquid (oil) to production wells. This phenomenon occurs in homogeneous porous medium. If oil is still in the medium then oil production is not yet optimally.To observe and analyze the phenomenon we usemathematical model. This model of imbibition phenomenon in form of nonlinear partial differential equations and the solution can be determined.
