Abstract

Reducing the spread of the Covid-19 virus and handling every patient affected by Covid-19 are the main targets of the Indonesian government in dealing with the current pandemic. It takes cooperation between individuals. For example, between health workers and patients who are undergoing independent isolation (isoman) due to being infected with Covid-19. Body temperature, heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and patient movement are the main parameters of a Covid-19 patient that must be routinely checked and monitored by health workers. Patients in self-isolation also need to monitor their health conditions while undergoing isolation. Besides being routine, examination and monitoring of the condition of isoman patients also need to be carried out continuously because the patient's condition can change at any time. In this study, a mobile-based wireless Covid-19 patient condition monitoring system was developed so that monitoring can be carried out remotely. This system uses MCP9808 as body temperature, MAX30100 as a sensor for heart rate and blood oxygen levels, and GPS as a sensor for patient movement in isolation locations. The data obtained from each of these sensors will be sent wirelessly to the cloud database using the NodeMCU ESP8266. The data received in the cloud database is displayed in real-time on a mobile-based dashboard and analyzed to obtain information on the progress of the patient's condition. This system is to assist health workers in monitoring the condition of Covid-19 patients remotely and help self-isolated patients to monitor their health without always having direct contact with health workers. Health workers are facilitated to find out the tendency of the patient's condition so that they can make the right decisions and actions.

Abstract

Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands has the potential for palm oil commodities which contribute to the economy. Palm oil processing produces biomass waste such as shells, fibers, and empty fruit bunches. Biomass in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands has a potential of 217.7 MW. CO₂ emissions are mostly from burning fossil coal where the CO₂ produced is dangerous. Alternatives are needed to reduce these CO₂ emissions. One of them is biomass. This plan uses a forecasting method to get an estimate of the energy potential of palm oil waste in 2022-2032 in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands and CO₂ emissions generated from palm oil waste energy. By using modeling, evaluating methods, forecasting, and calculating energy potential as well as CO₂ emissions from biomass, it can be concluded that the projected energy potential of palm oil waste from 2022 to 2032 will increase every year and can help fulfill regional energy requirements for the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. In 2025 the energy produced by 15.29 thousand TOE can help meet the energy requirement of 27.91 thousand TOE 2025. In 2030 the energy produced by 28.12 thousand TOE can help fulfill 46.79 thousand TOE of energy 2030. CO₂ emissions The amount of biomass from palm oil waste in 2022-2032 is increasing every year along with the increase in energy produced from palm oil waste biomass. Abstract

Technological developments are increasingly rapid, especially in the field of transportation, especially in electric vehicles, which are triggered by the increasing scarcity of fossil fuels. One of the propulsion engines that are widely used in electric vehicles is the brushless direct current (BLDC) motor because this motor has high torque, constant speed and is easy to regulate. This study aims to design a BLDC motor control using a boost converter as a voltage increaser and using a PID controller as a motor speed controller to keep it constant. In this study, the motor speed is simulated with an input value of 3000 rpm and then a DC voltage of 310 Vdc is given. The results showed that the motor speed regulation using a boost converter can rotate constant. The boost converter as a voltage booster is able to increase the Vin 220 Vdc voltage to a more 10% Vout, which is 242.3 V. Keywords: Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) Motor, Boost Converter, PID

Abstract

Measuring human weight and height in the modern era is still using the old method, namely using manual measuring tools such as digital scales to measure body weight and stature meters to measure height and are done separately so that it takes quite a long time if done by many users and repeatedly – such as for the purposes of administering medical personnel and recruiting military agencies. Therefore, in this study, measurements of human weight and height were carried out simultaneously in one system using the body surface area method and morphological operations in digital images as image enhancements. The process begins with the input image in the form of a human photo with a white background and full body with the human facing the front of the camera straight and the distance between the human and the cellphone camera is 2 meters and the height of the camera and the floor is 1.5 meters, after that the resulting photo will be subjected to object segmentation or preprocessing. by counting the number of pixels from toe to head to find out the value of height, meanwhile, to calculate body weight, the area of the human body is calculated in pixels and one photo is used to get the reference data value. Based on the results of testing the tools that have been made, it can be concluded that this system can produce measurements of maximum height with an accuracy of 99.15% and maximum weight with an accuracy of 97.35% with a photo resolution of 12 mega pixels with details of a photo height of 2080 px and a photo width 4624 px of height and weight data can then be processed to find out the body mass index value, which determines the ideal human body. Abstract

The induction motor is one of the most important parts in the industrial world today, so if an induction motor is damaged it can affect the production process. Therefore, disturbances that exist in induction motors must be predicted or detected as early as possible. One of the causes of bearing damage is lack of lubrication which can cause an increase in motor temperature, noise, vibration and sparks which can cause damage to other parts of the induction motor. So the authors will conduct research using four different parameters namely starting current, vibration, and temperature on Air Compressor motors whose maintenance treatment in re-lubrication is carried out differently. In this study it was found that if the lubrication on the bearings is not maintained properly then the vibration value is very high at 23 to 24 mm/s, the starting current itself increases up to 8 times the nominal current where this can cause large voltage losses, the current is above the nominal current of the motor, which is 133% of the nominal current, with dry lubrication on the bearings of the induction motor, friction cannot be minimized so that the temperature of the motor increases where data is obtained on the temperature rise of the induction motor for 5 minutes the motor works at 74.3⁰ C and this can endanger the induction motor itself, it can be concluded that the lack of lubrication on induction motor bearings affects 4 parameters mentioned before. Abstract

The high pollution and flooding in the rainy season is one of the problems faced by big cities in Indonesia, especially the capital city DKI Jakarta. To be able to reduce pollution and the effect of greenhouse gases, one way is to use environmentally friendly energy sources. The use of solar panels as an alternative source of electrical energy is an alternative to reduce the use of fossil energy. Based on these problems, the purpose of this research is to design a photovoltaic system for monitoring water levels based on IoT. The benefit that can be obtained from this research is that the river water level can be monitored in real time using an IoT-based water level monitoring prototype. Furthermore, designing prototypes and IoT systems can be carried out, in this study Arduino, web and also android applications are used. The alarm will turn on if the deep water level is above the predetermined limit. In the prototype there are three color LED lights as an indicator to mark the water level, the green color indicates that the water level is safe, the yellow color indicates that the water level is close to the safe limit and the red color indicates that the water level is above the limit. safe and dangerous.   Key Word :   Photovoltaic, flood, pollution, monitoring, IoT

Abstract

Throughput on the GSM and LTE Femto coexistence network is highly dependent on the distribution conditions of the femtocells, including the number and position of the femtocells. In previous studies, there has been much discussion about network interference management for LTE femtocell integrated with GSM macrocells. However, previous studies have not clearly discussed the strategy for optimizing the throughput value in this coexistence network. LTE femtocell throughput performance is analyzed mathematically. The simulation results show that when femtocells are deployed near GSM BSs, namely at a distance of x = 0.1R, accommodating one and more LTE femtocells on each GSM macrocell causes a decrease in throughput of around 6.3 kbits/s and LTE femtocell throughput continues to decrease due to the increasing number of femtocells  deployed on GSM macrocell. Meanwhile, the throughput of LTE femtocell increases as the distance between the femtocell and the GSM BS increases. When changing from the distance x = 0.1R to x = R, the LTE femtocell throughput increases by about 1.3x102 kbits/s. So Optimization of LTE femtocell throughput can be done by reducing the number of femtocells deployed on GSM macrocells and adjusting LTE femtocell distribution patterns away from GSM BS.  Keywords— Throughput; LTE femtocell; GSM macrocell; coexistence

Abstract

As an alternative source of green and renewable energy, a Solar Power Plant can be installed that utilizes solar cells. On-grid PV is one of the easiest types of PV systems to implement because it does not use batteries, but requires interconnection with the grid network system to run properly. On-grid PV interconnection requires technical study to review the impact of On-grid PV interconnection to the grid system and to review its compliance with the applicable Grid Code. Interconnection technical study consists power flow analysis, short circuit analysis, harmonic analysis, and transient stability analysis. The case study of the 7kW On-Grid PLTS installation is reviewed in this study, and the results of this technical study recommend that the On-Grid PLTS installation is feasible to operate and fulfills all the Grid-Code rules.

Abstract

This research discusses how to classify music genres using machine learning.. Music of the same genre usually shares specific characteristics related to instrumentation, rhythmic structure, and musical pitch. Music genres can be done using the Machine Learning method. The Machine Learning algorithms used in this study are K-Nearest Neighbor, Random Forest, and Naïve Bayes. Furthermore, this study will compare the accuracy of the three methods. The primary data used in this study is the result of downloading from the internet. Machine learning programming is used through the Google Colab platform with the Python programming language. From the analysis and testing results, it was found that the Random Forest method has the highest level of accuracy

Abstract

Computer network security has become crucial in managing and protecting sensitive data transmitted through networks. Effective implementation of security measures on every device connected to the network is a critical aspect. This article discusses the use of Standard Access Control List (ACL) as a solution to enhance computer network security, both in Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs). This method serves as an access rights provider in computer networks by denying access from unrecognized devices to prevent security vulnerabilities. The results of simulations indicate that using Standard Access Control List successfully blocks computer lab client access to the server, thereby reducing the potential for cyber attacks and improving computer network security.
