Abstract

Computer network security has become crucial in managing and protecting sensitive data transmitted through networks. Effective implementation of security measures on every device connected to the network is a critical aspect. This article discusses the use of Standard Access Control List (ACL) as a solution to enhance computer network security, both in Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs). This method serves as an access rights provider in computer networks by denying access from unrecognized devices to prevent security vulnerabilities. The results of simulations indicate that using Standard Access Control List successfully blocks computer lab client access to the server, thereby reducing the potential for cyber attacks and improving computer network security.

Abstract

Abstract Solar power plant is one of the developments in the use of renewable energy that has received government support through Ministerial Regulation No.49 of 2018 and Ministerial Regulation No.26 of 2021 regarding rooftop solar power plant. Based on the 2019 solar power plant roadmap draft, the investment cost of rooftop solar power plant per kWp is around 14-25 million rupiah, the amount of this investment is an important consideration for the community to install rooftop solar power plant. One alternative to reduce the investment cost of rooftop solar power plant is to reduce the capacity of the inverter by using lighting from DC lamps. This research was conducted by comparing the efficiency values and investment costs, and using the benefit-cost analysis method to compare a series of relevant costs and benefits between the use of DC lamps and AC lamps for household lighting using PLTS. The results of this research is that DC lamps have a light current of 280 – 350 lumens, an illumination intensity of 48 lux, and a PLTS system efficiency of 98,5% which is higher in value compared to AC lamps which have a light current of 250 lumens, an illumination intensity of 21 lux, and a PLTS system efficiency of 49,3% with the same lamp power of 3W. Analysis of the investment feasibility of on-grid and off-grid PLTS, both 2200VA and 900VA shows that the NPV is negative and the BCR value is less than 1, so the investment is not yet feasible. Abstract

The research aim to determine the effectiveness of the Digital Electronics Education and Design Suite Simulator to design a series of binary multipliers. This research methode begins by determining the problem boundary, where this binary number multiplier circuit is only able to perform 2 (two) bit binary multiplication operation. So the minimum value of the multiplication results is 0000 with a decimal value of 0 to 1111 with a decimal value of 15. The design is done by simplifying the problem by using the Boolean theorem. The results of this research is the construction of simulation circuit that can be used to perform multiplication operation 2 (two) binary numbers. Simplification of the circuit with the Boolean theorem method using Digital Electronics Education and Design Suite Simulator is able effectively design series of binary multipliers with an accuracy value of 100%.

Abstract

TCP/SYN Flood Attack is a type of Denial of Service (DoS) attack. The TCP/SYN Flood Attack paralyzes the Web Server computer by flooding it with large amounts of data packets so that the communication network system becomes paralyzed. The TCP/SYN Flood Attack takes advantage of the weakness of the data transfer method between the Web Server computer and the client computer. To recognize how a TCP/SYN Flood Attack occurs on a Web Server computer, in this research, a simulation of a TCP/SYN Flood Attack attack was carried out on a Web Server computer from three client computers in a Local Area Network (LAN) network. Furthermore, every hour, the number of packets received by the Web Server computer and the performance of the Web Server computer before and after handling are observed. With this research, it is hoped that it will be known how the performance of telecommunication networks, in this case, Web Server computers, can handle TCP/SYN Flood Attacks both before and after firewall filters are applied.

Abstract

In the fast-paced digital era, the telecommunications sector continues to rapidly evolve. Telecommunication towers are essential infrastructures for providing connectivity and effective communication. However, the management and leasing of land for telecommunication towers face challenges such as complex processes and a lack of integrated information systems, necessitating a system that can effectively manage land leases. Therefore, this research aims to design and develop a web-based Telco Tower Land Lease Information System as a solution to address the land lease data processing issues. This information system allows users to easily and efficiently manage land leases and access relevant information regarding telecommunication towers. The evaluation of the developed website is conducted by analyzing the land lease data before and after implementing the system, using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method to measure the Availability Rate, Performance Efficiency, and Quality of Product, resulting in more objective outcomes compared to similar research. The results and conclusions of this research indicate that the web-based Telco Tower Land Lease Information System is an effective solution for the management and leasing of land for telecommunication towers. In the performance test of the analytical system, the obtained values were 100% for Availability Rate, 99.69% for Performance Efficiency, and 100% for Quality of Product. Thus, the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value obtained is 99.69%, surpassing the World Class OEE standard of 85%.

Abstract

Management Employee Stock option Plan (MESOP) is an incentive scheme that grants employees the right to purchase company shares at a predetermined price. In its implementation, reporting is necessary to monitor the movement of employee stock option transactions. ESOP reporting is designed with automation adoption to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and time savings. The evaluation of ESOP reporting automation is conducted by analyzing ESOP reporting results and applying the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method to measure Availability Rate, Performance efficiency, and Product Quality. The results of the ESOP reporting evaluation analysis conclude that the identification of employee transaction data from the 'Employee Transaction List' page aligns with the results generated by the ESOP reporting automation system on the 'Report' page. In the performance of ESOP reporting with automation, an Availability Rate of 100% is achieved. Furthermore, for Performance efficiency, ESOP reporting with automation reaches a value of 99.6% compared to manual reporting. Meanwhile, for Product Quality, ESOP reporting with both automation and manual methods obtains a value of 100%. The conclusion drawn from the obtained OEE value is 99.6%, surpassing the expected World Class OEE standard of around 85%.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of Information Technology demands efficient data management, especially within hospital settings to provide optimal services. Medical records play a crucial role in this context, encompassing patient health information stored by healthcare professionals. The transition towards electronic-based medical records is a prevailing trend, albeit accompanied by concerns regarding data security risks. Therefore, this study aims to implement a medical record data management system with a security approach that includes a password hashing system and AES-256 encryption. This research aims to design a password hashing system, encryption-decryption mechanism, and analyze the security level of password hashing against brute force attacks. The methodology focuses on utilizing the bcrypt algorithm for password hashing and the AES-256 algorithm for medical record data encryption. Test results indicate that the password hashing system utilizing the bcrypt algorithm generates secure hashes, and the AES-256 encryption system successfully encrypts medical record data with a 100% success rate. Brute force testing proves the effectiveness of the bcrypt algorithm in safeguarding password hash values. This research confirms that the implementation of password hashing and AES-256 encryption provides a robust layer of security in electronic medical record systems, supporting the transition towards safer and more efficient data management.

Abstract

Penyearah daya banyak digunakan dalam berbagai aplikasi industri yang memberikan suplai tegangan DC untuk berbagai jenis beban seperti proses milling menggunakan motor DC, sel elektrolisis, pelapisan logam, dan beban DC lainnya. Penyearah ini bertindak sebagai beban nonlinier yang menyuntikkan arus harmonisa ke listrik AC dengan banyak masalah dan dampak negatif pada jaringan utilitas dan beban itu sendiri, seperti meningkatkan kerugian, kesalahan pengukuran, kesalahan perangkat proteksi dan distorsi tegangan pada PCC yang mempengaruhi lainnya beban pada titik yang sama. Untuk alasan ini, banyak penelitian yang berfokus pada masalah ini dan bagaimana menguranginya. Dalam penelitian ini, pemodelan ideal simulasi dalam analisis awal rangkaian diambil untuk penyearah jembatan penuh dioda tiga fasa disuplai dari tegangan tiga fasa seimbang. Konverter 100 kVA, 400VDC juga untuk menghubungkan ke sistem tenaga listrik dengan transformator tiga fase 100 kVA, 20.000/400V. Sebuah beban resistif 100kVA dihubungkan ke sisi melalui reaktor penghalusan menunjukkan model yang digunakan untuk mensimulasikan beban nonlinier yang diteliti. Empat filter-single tuned dirancang untuk mengurangi harmonisa ke-5, ke-7 ke-11 dan ke-13. Namun, setelah pemasangan filter single-tuned ini muncul harmonisa urutan ke-17 dan ke-19 lebih besar dari harmonisa ke-5 dan ke-7. Untuk itu perlu ditambahkan tipe filter double-tuned untuk mengurangi harmonisa yang sama dan lebih besar dari harmonisa ke-13. Model berbasis MATLAB dengan Filter pasif tiga fase yang saat model dijalankan dengan beban pada kondisi sebelum dan setelah pemasangan filter harmonisa. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan arus dan tegangan sumber yang sama setelah penyaringan, menurunkan total distorsi harmonisa arus dari 18,30% menjadi 1,02% dan tegangan menurun dari 19,6%. menjadi 3,96% yang memenuhi standar internasional dan meningkatkan kualitas daya pada titik sambungan umum (point of common coupling, pcc) Kata kunci : Harmonisa, Transformator, point of common coupling

Abstract

Menyala matinya setiap pendingin yang berada pada sebuah ruangan dikontrol oleh sebuah Mikrokontroler berdasarkan tercapainya temperatur yang telah diatur pada ruangan tersebut, sehingga tidak semua pendingin hidup bila temperatur yang diinginkan telah tercapai. Mikrokontroler akan mengatur pendingin mana yang hidup dan mati pada saat tertentu bila temperatur yang diinginkan telah tercapai. Seluruh pendingin akan mati bila tidak ada orang pada ruangan tersebut, hal ini terjadi berdasarkan tidak adanya pergerakan di dalam ruangan tersebut dalam kurun waktu tertentu. Pusat pengendali mikrokontroler menerima masukan dari sensor gerak dan sensor suhu ruangan yang ditampilkan pada layar LCD. Berdasarkan ke dua masukan ini, mikrokontroler mengatur nyala matinya setiap pendingin udara pada ruangan tersebut, sehingga energi listrik yang digunakan dapat di hemat.

Abstract

Solar energy for public street lighting exemplifies the implementation of renewable energy on a city-wide scale, addressing environmental goals and enhancing energy efficiency. Solar panels capture sunlight, storing it in batteries to illuminate streets at night. Panel efficiency is influenced by sunlight intensity, directly impacting power production. Coupled with batteries, these systems undergo managed charging and discharging cycles for durability. Maintaining battery voltage within limits is crucial—preventing overcharging safeguards against degradation, while careful discharging avoids falling below specified levels. A solar charge controller module is essential for regulating these processes. Monitoring involves an INA219 sensor-based device communicating with the ESP32 microcontroller. The ESP32 transmits readings to a MySQL database server. During charging or sunlight exposure, the system reports solar panel and battery data. Conversely, at sunset, it relays battery discharge voltage. MySQL-stored data is displayed on a web page for real-time monitoring, with graphical representations and tables, automating and modernizing monitoring practices. System testing reveals minimal differences in INA219 sensor values compared to a Fluke multimeter. Accurate data transmission occurs every 5 minutes, and lamp status is trackable via lamp current. This integrated system highlights solar energy's viability for public infrastructure, fostering sustainability and efficiency in urban settings.
