Abstract

This paper describe fi eld test results analysis for fuel saving tool called Electic Fuel Treatment (EFT) on diesel engine generator set 35 KVA with static load. Field test on diesel engine generator set was performed with a variety of confi gurations EFT in series or parallel to get the best fuel effi ciency. Methods of analysis done bythe operational technical tests by comparing the results of testing before and after installation of EFT. Field test results are a form of EFT confi gurations that is ideal to obtain fuel effi ciency on average of 6.58% at 60% load and exhaust emission reduction levels between 20%24%.

Abstract

The age range of UPT BPI LIPI employees is relatively unbalanced. 71,42% of the employees have already exceeded 40 years old and 58,73% of them will be retired in 2015. Based on these facts, UPT BPI LIPI needs a Knowledge Management System (KMS) that can store knowledge assets of the employees. Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) is used as a method to identify the knowledge and to develop the best architecture design of KMS for UPT BPI LIPI. There are fi ve stages in the knowledge management cycle for calibration services in UPT BPI LIPI, namely knowledge acquisition, knowledge extraction, knowledge storage, knowledge sharing, and knowledge update. The result of SSM showed that KMS design can be applied to create knowledge, to share knowledge, to record knowledge, to store knowledge, and to reuse knowledge, so it can be optimize the calibration services in UPT BPI LIPI.

Abstract

Dialogue has been widely used for verbal communication between human and robot interaction, such as assistant robot in hospital. However, this robot was usually limited by predetermined dialogue, so it will be difficult to understand new words for new desired goal. In this paper, we discussed conversation in Indonesian on entertainment, motivation, emergency, and helping with knowledge growing method. We provided mp3 audio for music, fairy tale, comedy request, and motivation. The execution time for this request was 3.74 ms on average. In emergency situation, patient able to ask robot to call the nurse. Robot will record complaint of pain and inform nurse. From 7 emergency reports, all complaints were successfully saved on database. In helping conversation, robot will walk to pick up belongings of patient. Once the robot did not understand with patient’s conversation, robot will ask until it understands. From asking conversation, knowledge expands from 2 to 10, with learning execution from 1405 ms to 3490 ms. SARSA was faster towards steady state because of higher cumulative rewards. Q-learning and SARSA were achieved desired object within 200 episodes. It concludes that RL method to overcome robot knowledge limitation in achieving new dialogue goal for patient assistant were achieved.

Abstract

Tingginya persaingan dalam industri air minum dalam kemasan menjadi sebuah tantangan besar bagi perusahaan yang bergerak dalam industri tersebut. Sebagai salah satu perusahaan air minum dalam kemasan yang sedang berkembang, CV.XYZ kini tengah bersiap dalam menghadapi tantangan persaingan yang ada dengan memanfaatkan sistem informasi dan teknologi informasi, namun perusahaan mengalami kesulitan dalam menetapkan sistem dan teknologi informasi yang paling tepat untuk dipergunakan sebagai senjata dalam memenangkan persaingan bisnis, maka dalam penelitian ini dilakukan berbagai tahap analisa dalam menyusun rencana strategis sistem informasi dan teknologi informasi dengan menggunakan metode Ward dan Peppard, disesuaikan dengan model bisnis perusahaan yang tengah berlangsung menggunakan kerangka kerja bussiness canvas model untuk melihat keterkaitan antara keduanya. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa rekomendasi dalam portofolio aplikasi dan usulan rencana strategis sistem informasi yang nantinya dapat dipergunakan sebagai acuan bagi perusahaan dalam implementasi dan pengembangan sistem informasi dan teknologi informasi yang dapat meningkatkan daya saing perusahaan.

Abstract

The processing on water treatment in this research is carried out by using two combination methods of Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs) and Electromagnetic Water Treatment (EWT). The application of AOPs method is one of alternative to remove heavy metals while the application of EWT method is to improve water quality and to prevent the using of expensive chemicals or corrosive substances. The using of chemicals can cause new problems that endanger human health or damage the environment. This paper presents the advantage of the combining these methods is the high ability to process contaminated water into clean water. AOPs and EWT system configuration is needed to determine the effectiveness of the processing system, especially in removing heavy metal minerals such as iron (Fe). Based on the efficiency result, the configuration by using AOPs + EWT reduces the iron (Fe) mineral content by 99,33% and increases the pH value by 6.09.Keywords: water; treatment; substances; metal; mineral

Abstract

Social media is a very important part of the political campaign strategy. By using information about various policies as well as public opinion, will provide rich information in political issues during elections. The problem is how political attitudes in social media relate to the results of the election winners. In this paper, we proposed a methodology of social network analysis to measure conversational network activity. As a case study, we select the Pilkada Jawa Barat 2018 for the reason most populous province in Indonesia. We get the conversation in online social network service Twitter and collected 70335 tweets from June 20 to June 26, 2018. Our findings indicate that the network properties of each candidate is in accordance to the real count and the candidate that appear most often are "@ridwankamil", the name of the winner of the regional elections in the Pilkada Jawa Barat 2018. We summarize all the conversations of each candidate and our results show there are high correlations with the results of the election winners. Because the higher the conversations network of each candidate, the greater the possibility of winning the election.

Abstract

Posyandu adalah wadah pemberdayaan masyarakat yang diprakarsai oleh masyarakat dan dikelola oleh masyarakat bersama Pemerintah Desa/Kelurahan untuk memberikan kemudahan memperoleh pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat. Banyaknya sistem pelaporan dari Posyandu terkadang menjadi data yang tidak dianalisa secara baik. Hal ini dikarenakan rekapitulasi dan pengumpulan datanya terkadang tidak tepat waktu. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk memperbaiki hal tersebut adalah diwujudkan melalui sistem teknologi informasi. Sistem ini, dikenal dengan istilah digitalisasi, membantu analisa dari data secara cepat sehingga petugas kesehatan dimudahkan dalam melakukan pekerjaannya. Pengabdian Masyarakat yang dilakukan ini bekerjasama dengan PT Mahawangga Winaya Indonesia melakukan digitalisasi pengisian data kader posyandu dan pengumpulan data bayi dan balita. Pengabdian ini terdiri dari tiga kegiatan utama yang berurutan, yaitu pembuatan program, pengujian, dan pelatihan. Kegiatan pembuatan program dan pengujian sudah dapat dilaksanakan, namun untuk kegiatan selanjutnya, yaitu berupa kegiatan pelatihan belum dapat dilaksanakan.

Abstract

Mining areas in Indonesia still use water sources from the pit lake, called Kolong. Kolong is raw water material of the water local company (PDAM) in obtaining clean water. The lake water usually processed with chemical and physicsmethods before distributed to the community. Whereas in fact the former mine lake water has a heavy metal content that is still relatively high. In mining areas, river and lake water are still polluted by heavy metals that harm living things that can not be decomposed directly by microorganisms naturally and even require a relatively long time to process them. Processed by using Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs) and Electromagnetic Water Treatment (EWT) become one of the processing alternatives by removing the heavy metals. The advantage of using this method is high efficiency, ability to process will not cause another waste andincluding as clean technology. The aim of this research activity is to test integrated water treatment system using the physical and chemical method by utilizing surface water contaminated by heavy metals through a combination of advanced oxidation technology and electromagnetic water treatment for physics-chemical water quality improvement which can be utilized by PDAM as raw water to get clean water. This research comparing no processing water, processing water with AOPs and EWT, then combining AOPs-EWT. The result of heavy metal removal in water can be reduced up to ± 90%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggabungkan ilmu manajemen dan ilmu big data dalam proses pengerjaannya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil sentimen konsumen terhadap brand Go-Jek berdasarkan media sosial twitter dan menemukan topik serta kata apa yang dibahas pada sentimen media sosial twitter mengenai brand Go-Jek. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian dini diperoleh dari media sosial twitter dan didapatkan sebanyak 15.721 tweets dari konsumen layanan brand Go-Jek di Indonesia yang aktif pada media sosial twitter. Analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode big data yaitu sentiment analysis dantopic modelling. Kedua metode tersebut digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian yang ditentukan yaitu mengetahui hasil sentimen dan topik yang dibicarakan konsumen Go-jek di media sosial twitter. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini menunjukkan secara keseluruhan dapat dikatakan bahwa sentimen dan topik yang dibahas konsumen berkaitan dengan brand Go-Jek termasuk pada brand perception positif walaupun ada beberapa sentimen negatif namun lebih mendominasi sentimen yang positif.

Abstract

This paper presents the observation of magnetization process variableswhich influenced the conductivity of FeSO4, MnSO4, MgCl2 and CaCl2solution. Some of the survey results revealed that there was a decrease inthe rate of particle formation of FeSO4, MnSO4, MgCl2 and CaCl2 of theions in the sample of the magnetized hard water. This study compared theconductivity of FeSO4, MnSO4, MgCl2 and CaCl2 solution before and afterthe pulsed electromagnetic field with a concentration level of 0.1 M wasgiven. Electromagnetic Water Treatment (EW) was used to generate theelectromagnetic pulse wit 9.3 mT pulsed electromagnetic filed. Tools Themeasurement of solution conductivity level conducted using BenchConductivity Meter was calibrated by Control Company with certificatenumber 4163-4997748 and traceable to the National Institute of Standardsand Technology. The measurement was conducted by observing the timefunction of solution conductivity of FeSO4, MnSO4, MgCl2, and CaCl2.The results showed that pulsed electromagnetic fields affected theconductivity of FeSO4 and CaCl2 solution by74% and 67%, respectively.Meanwhile, the lower conductivity was observed from MnSO4 and MgCl2solution with 6% due to process of magnetization which caused theinstability of the ionic bonding in the solution.
