Abstract

Food security is a strategic issue with a significant impact on economic stability and community welfare, especially in densely populated urban areas. In Indonesia, urbanization and changes in consumption patterns increase the need for safe, quality and affordable food. However, limited urban space hinders local food production, so urban agriculture is a potential solution to support food security in urban areas. Sukamulya Village, especially Sindang Sari IV RT 02 RW 05, Cinambo District, Bandung City, faces food security challenges with high population density and limited land. Innovative approaches are needed to increase local food production, one of which is through urban agricultural management training that focuses on increasing productivity and sustainability. This training aims to not only increase crop yields, but also encourage sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural practices. Using appropriate management techniques, efficient land use, and processing organic waste into natural fertilizer are some of the strategies implemented. Apart from that, this training improves farming business management skills so that residents can manage agricultural products more effectively and increase family income. This service evaluates the impact of urban agricultural management training on productivity and sustainability of food security in Sindang Sari IV, involving RT women as the main participants. The results are expected to provide an overview of the effectiveness of the training and recommendations for developing similar programs in other urban areas, increasing local food security and empowering communities to be independent and sustainable in meeting their food needs.

Abstract

The community-based economic development model is an approach that emphasises the active participation of local communities in planning, implementing and managing economic projects in their neighbourhoods. The study conducted in this research used the literature research method. The findings indicate that access to technology and information, education and training, and government policy support are the main factors that drive community economic growth. Digital technology provides opportunities for micro, small and medium enterprises to improve marketing and operational efficiency, while education improves vital managerial skills. Government policies that support micro, small, and medium enterprises, including licensing simplification, tax incentives, and training programmes, play a significant role in the development of small businesses. Adequate infrastructure and access to finance from microfinance institutions have also been shown to support the economic dynamism of communities. However, the study also identified various constraints that slow down the economic growth of communities, such as limited access to capital, complex regulations, and inadequate infrastructure. Low financial literacy hampers good financial management among small business owners. In addition, tough challenges come from fierce competition with large companies and negative perceptions of local products. These constraints necessitate effective collaboration between the government, the private sector and the community to create a more conducive business environment for micro, small and medium enterprises. With an integrated and sustainable approach, the economic potential of the community can be optimised for mutual prosperity.

Abstract

MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) have an important position in running the wheels of regional economic growth by creating jobs, reducing unemployment, and strengthening economic inclusion in various regions. This research discusses the vital role of MSMEs in empowering the local economy through job creation, increasing competitiveness through product innovation, and contributing to local revenue. In addition, MSMEs also drive the growth of supporting industries such as logistics, marketing, and wholesale trade, ultimately creating a more open and sustainable business ecosystem. However, to make the most of the role of MSMEs, several strategic measures are needed, including strengthening access to capital and financing through the People's Business Credit (KUR) programme and financial technology, improving the quality of human resources through entrepreneurship and management training, and improving physical and digital infrastructure. In addition, the government needs to develop policies and regulations that support the growth of MSMEs by simplifying the licensing process, providing tax incentives, and ensuring strong legal protection for MSME players. This study concludes that with the right policy support and coordinated strategic measures, MSMEs have great potential to become a resilient and sustainable engine of the local economy, and contribute significantly to open national economic growth.

Abstract

A healthy and resilient digital economy ecosystem is essential for Indonesia to thrive in the digital age. Many studies have shown the importance of improving digital infrastructure, making progressive policies, training tech-savvy human resources, and collaboration between sectors to spur innovation. Advanced infrastructure such as fast networks and secure data centres are needed to support peak technology adoption. Good and fair rules and policies, especially on cybersecurity and data privacy, are necessary for an innovative climate and public trust. Relevant education and training are needed to ensure the availability of skilled digital labour. Cooperation between the government, the business world, the education world, and the technology community can accelerate growth and new breakthroughs in the digital economy ecosystem. By implementing these various strategies, it is hoped that the digital economy ecosystem can be improved and become the main motor for inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

The application of Team Viewer application technology is one of the digital innovations to remotely control computers/laptops. The population of this training is all students of class X and XI Computer Network Engineering of SMK Swasta Cerdas Bangsa, North Sumatra Province, Deli Serdang Regency, totaling 40 students, while the sample of this study was taken from a population of 20 students. The sampling technique used is the purposive sampling technique. The practical technique used in this training is direct observation of the activity process and observations carried out directly by students during the practicum activities. The technique used by students is the number of students divided into 20 groups, 1 group of 2 people and each group must register on the teamviewer application in order to be able to log in to the application so that the process of implementing the practicum is successful. TeamViewer software is one step in helping students carry out practicum activities online. This training aims to determine students' understanding in implementing TeamViewer software. The purpose of this study was to determine how the process of implementing TeamViewer software is and to see students' responses to the results of using TeamViewer in practicum activities for the subject of Computer Network Systems. Based on the results of the training carried out, it is known that the implementation of the computer network system subject practicum can be carried out well by looking at the results of the observation of the implementation of activities at a percentage of 100% and the results of the observation of the use of the Teamviewer remote desktop application in the implementation of the implementation are also at a percentage of 100%. Thus it can be concluded that the implementation of remote practicums can be carried out by utilizing the Remote Desktop Teamviewer application.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Majalengka face various challenges and opportunities to adapt to the dynamic market changes. The "Creative Visuals and Business Transformation Training Workshop for Majalengka MSMEs" was organized to help MSMEs explore the latest trends in graphic design and e-commerce, and utilize digital platforms such as Canva, Shopee, and TikTok. The event aimed to empower MSMEs with practical skills and innovative strategies to enhance their competitiveness and online presence. The activities included training on visual communication and digital marketing strategies, covering creative design, e-commerce, digital marketing mentoring, and updates on business trends and innovations. Through a practical and interactive approach, participants were encouraged to understand and apply graphic design concepts and e-commerce strategies effectively. The results of the "Creative Visuals and Business Transformation Training Workshop for Majalengka MSMEs" show that participants were able to use Canva to create attractive visual designs, manage and optimize online stores on Shopee, and create dynamic marketing content on TikTok. With knowledge of the latest trends and innovations, participants can adjust their marketing strategies to remain relevant and competitive in the ever-changing market. These skills help participants enhance their online presence, competitiveness, and market reach of MSMEs in the digital era.

Abstract

The early church is the main image of the church and the real protector of the church that is now well in the midst of world life, even in the context of the Indonesian nation. It should also be understood that the early Church made a very big contribution to the existence of the church today. However, one thing is certain that a great contribution to the presence of the church today does not just appear out of nowhere. The early church certainly did various things to expand its reach so that all corners of the world could get the good news or the Gospel of God. For this reason, in this paper, the author will examine how the early Church's mission was to expand and spread the teachings of Christianity in the perspective of historical analysis. In this article we will see how the early Church carried out the great commission of Jesus Christ contained in Matthew 28:19-20 and we will see how the impact of the early Church's missionary ministry has on the church today.

Abstract

Monetary policy plays a vital role in ensuring the stability of the economic system in Indonesia, where Bank Indonesia as the monetary authority has the main responsibility in setting interest rates and controlling the amount of money in circulation. The determination of interest rates by Bank Indonesia has a direct impact on consumption and investment activities. A decrease in interest rates generally encourages an increase in consumption and investment, which in turn can boost economic growth. However, interest rates that are too low over a long period of time may increase the risk of excessive inflation and financial system instability, as they may encourage excessive risk-taking by financial institutions and economic actors. Conversely, an overly tight monetary policy, with high interest rates, can hamper economic growth and increase unemployment, as high borrowing costs reduce consumption and investment spending. Firms may experience difficulties in financing operations and expansion, while consumers will be more cautious in their spending and investment. Therefore, it is important for Bank Indonesia to implement a balanced and flexible monetary policy, which is responsive to current economic conditions and various economic indicators. This balance in monetary policy is needed to ensure price stability, sustainable economic growth, and public welfare. Effective regulation and strict enforcement of supervision are also key in avoiding the negative impact of monetary policy that is either too loose or too tight. In conclusion, appropriate and measured monetary policy is an important instrument to achieve sustainable and inclusive stability of the Indonesian economic system.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to find out about predestination as the doctrine of salvation in Romans 8:29 according to the philosopher Augustine's thought as an answer to the question of the doctrine of predestination, on what basis did God determine His choice from the beginning? Because of the problems that arose among Christians regarding the predetermined election of God. If so, what about those whom God did not choose? Then is the election of God the same as the election of humans seen from the criteria? By looking at the existing problems, the writer is interested in studying predestination as one of the doctrines of the Christian faith. The writing method used is a qualitative approach with grammatical-historical methods and literature study methods. The grammar is intended to study the phrase "For he has chosen all as before" in Romans 8:29. Context analysis is connecting each word analyzed with the context in which the word is located. Literature study method, namely through the sources of books and literature related to the problem of this writing. The results of this writing provide an explanation that predestination is God's sovereign sovereignty in the doctrine of salvation, and the election of salvation is solely done by God on His omniscience, namely knowing from the beginning the person who is being saved.

Abstract

The lack of activities for women in Kampung Benar Dusun VI made us want to conduct training on making liquid dishwashing soap, with this activity the community can find out more about liquid dishwashing soap products. Especially for housewives, now it has become a daily necessity. By making your own liquid washing soap that is good and cheap to use or sell every day, the price of washing soap products can be reduced. Liquid dish soap dissolves more easily and works better in water, so many people prefer to use liquid dish soap rather than cream. This is what made us conduct training in the Kampung Benar area, Dusun VI, Kota Pari Village. The aim of this training is to gain an understanding of making liquid soap and to gain knowledge or skills to be able to use it in life, to be able to help in making liquid soap and to gain practical skills. People can also use this work as additional work in areas where they are not productive in income-generating activities. The hope is that it can encourage people to develop their own businesses, so that they can build an independent society. The methods used in Social Work are PAR (Participatory Action Research), discussions and soap making demonstrations. Divided into three stages, namely preparation, evaluation and implementation, this project. The raw materials used include Texapon, NaCl, SLS, Foamboster, Perfume, Green Dye. The resulting water washing soap produced in this project is 15 liters with a thick body, green color and lemon smell. We hope that the people of Kampung Atas Dusun VI Pari City can learn how to make liquid soap through this activity. Making liquid dishwashing soap is a simple process that we can do ourselves, and can be used as a side project at home. People can save money by buying commercial washing soap because the price of homemade washing soap is cheaper and there are many homemade soap products available. From making dishwashing soap, 25 600 ml plastic bottles were produced. The conclusion that can be drawn from this Community Service activity is that the training in making water-washing soap in Kampung Benar Dusun VI, Kota Pari Village was carried out well and smoothly.
