Abstract

The increasing competition in the marketplace has made Lazada one of the platforms that is falling behind compared to several competitors, particularly in terms of sales or purchase intention. Several factors contribute to this, including social media marketing, audience opinions and reviews, and Lazada's brand image. This study evaluates the influence of social media marketing and electronic word of mouth (E-WOM) on purchase intention through brand image. The aim of this research is to determine the impact of social media marketing and E-WOM on purchase intention, with brand image serving as a mediator. The study was conducted among Lazada marketplace users in Denpasar City, involving 160 respondents using purposive sampling. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. The collected data was analyzed using path analysis and Sobel test techniques. The findings indicate that all hypotheses are supported. Social media marketing positively and significantly influences brand image; E-WOM positively and significantly influences brand image; social media marketing positively and significantly impacts purchase intention; E-WOM positively and significantly impacts purchase intention; brand image positively and significantly influences purchase intention. Additionally, brand image positively and significantly mediates the effects of social media marketing and E-WOM on purchase intention. The theoretical implications of this study support consumer behavior theories and previous research. The practical implications suggest that Lazada's management should prioritize social media marketing, E-WOM, and brand image to enhance purchase intention.

Abstract

Performance is the result of work that can be achieved by an individual or a group within an organization, both quantitatively and qualitatively, in accordance with their authority and responsibilities, in an effort to achieve the organization's goals legally, without violating the law, and in accordance with morals and ethics. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of work conflict, work quality, and job stress on employee performance at CV. Maha Surya Motor Penarukan. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used in this study is a questionnaire with measurement tools tested for validity and reliability, with 42 employees of CV. Maha Surya Motor Penarukan selected as respondents.The data analysis techniques used in this study are Descriptive Statistics, Classical Assumption Tests, and Multiple Linear Regression. Based on the research results, it is shown that the work conflict variable has a positive but not very significant effect on employee performance, the work quality variable has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance, and the job stress variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This study concludes that to improve employee performance at CV. Maha Surya Motor Penarukan, the company needs to manage work conflict well, enhance work quality through training and development, and reduce job stress by creating a more conducive work environment.

Abstract

Measuring financial performance is important because a healthy bank will influence public trust and the achievement of an effective and efficient economic system. This research aims to determine the financial performance of PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk in 2018-2022. The variables of this research are financial performance, return on assets, return on equity, net profit margin and operating expenses, operating income. The population and sample of this research are financial reports in the form of balance sheets and profit and loss from PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk 2018-2022. Data collection was carried out using documentation techniques. The results of this research indicate that the financial performance of PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk in 2018-2022 based on Bank Indonesia standards is classified as healthy. This is influenced by an increase in interest income, which causes growth in net profit.

Abstract

Organizational Citizenship has a positive impact on organizational effectiveness. One factor that can effect OCB is servant leadership, namely a leadership style that focuses on serving team members. Job satisfaction acts as a intervening variable in this research, where job satisfaction is a variable that bridges the effect of servant leadership on OCB. This research aims to analyze and explain the effect of servant leadership on OCB with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. By using a quantitative approach, this research is expected to provide insight into how servant leadership can encourage OCB behavior by increasing employee job satisfaction. This research was conducted on employees of the CV operational division. Bali Harmoni Bali Zoo, with a total sample of 75 employees obtained using the saturated sampling method. Data collection was carried out by interviews and distributing questionnaires. The analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results of the analysis show that 1) servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee OCB, 2) servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, 3) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee OCB, 4) job satisfaction mediates the effect of servant leadership on Employee OCB. The implications of this research theoretically support the findings of previous research through the perspective of social exchange theory. The practical Behavior is extra-role behavior carried out voluntarily by employees and implications of this research provide a policy reference for organizational leaders and management to increase employee OCB through servant leadership and job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to predict the potential bankruptcy of PT Waskita Karya Persero Tbk. Quantitative descriptive research type. The population used is the financial statements of PT Waskita Karya Persero Tbk with a sample of financial position reports and income statements from 2018-2023. Research data collection was carried out using documentation and literature studies. The analysis technique is the Zmijewski model (X-Score) with the three ratios, namely return on assets, debt ratio, current ratio and Altman model (Z-Score) with four ratios, namely the ratio of working capital to total assets, retained earnings to total assets, earning before interest and taxes to taotal assets, book value of equity to book value of debt. The research results of the Zmijewski model (X-Score) show that PT Waskita Karya Persero Tbk in 2018 is predicted to be a healthy company because the X-Score value is below the value of 0, in 2019-2023 it is predicted that the company has the potential fo bankruptcy because the X-Score value is above the value of 0. Meanwhile the Altman (X-Score) model shows that PT Waskita Karya Persero Tbk in 2018 is in gray zone because the Z-Score value is between 1.1 and 2.60, in 2019-2023 it is ini the danger zone because the Z-Score value is below the value of 1.1.

Abstract

Public welfare is the ultimate goal of every economic development. HDI as an indicator of welfare in Indonesia continues to increase from year to year, but is very volatile. The province with the highest HDI points is DKI Jakarta province and the lowest is Papua Province. This shows that the increase has not occurred significantly and there are still disparities in several provinces in Indonesia. This research aims (1) To analyze the direct influence of GRDP and minimum wages on poverty in Indonesian provinces in 2018-2022. (2) To analyze the influence of GRDP, minimum wage and poverty directly on HDI in Indonesian provinces in 2018-2022. (3) To analyze the influence of GRDP and minimum wages on HDI indirectly through poverty in Indonesian provinces in 2018-2022. This research uses secondary data obtained from BPS publications during 2018-2022, with a total of 170 observation points. The data analysis technique used is path analysis with the help of EViews 10 software. The results of the study indicate that PDRB has a significant negative direct effect on poverty, Provincial Minimum Wage has a significant positive direct effect on poverty, both PDRB and Provincial Minimum Wage have a significant positive direct effect on the HDI, and poverty has a significant negative direct effect on the HDI. Poverty is not an intervening variable in the relationship between PDRB and the HDI, but it is an intervening variable in the relationship between Provincial Minimum Wage and the HDI. The implications of this research are that successful economic policies must integrate increases in Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and Minimum Wage as primary strategies to reduce poverty levels and enhance the Human Development Index (HDI) in Indonesian provinces. Significant increases in GRDP contribute to poverty reduction by evenly distributing economic benefits to disadvantaged groups. Meanwhile, strengthened Minimum Wage policies can elevate worker incomes, bolster purchasing power, and improve access to education and healthcare, thereby potentially boosting HDI. Prioritising poverty reduction is crucial for enhancing overall quality of life, thereby creating better conditions for economic growth and social welfare at the provincial level

Abstract

Economic development aims to improve the well-being of the population, as reflected in the increase of the Human Development Index (HDI). Although the HDI in the regencies/cities of Bali Province has risen, income disparity persists. Reducing income distribution inequality can be achieved by creating decent job opportunities, lowering unemployment rates, and providing adequate income to ensure a good quality of life for workers. The objectives of this study are (1) To analyse the simultaneous effect of unemployment, economic growth and human development index on income distribution inequality in regencies/cities in Bali Province. (2) To analyse the partial effect of unemployment, economic growth and human development index on income distribution inequality in regencies/municipalities in Bali Province. The data used is secondary data, with 117 observation points. The analysis technique used is panel data regression model technique. The results showed that (1) Unemployment, economic growth and human development index simultaneously affect the inequality of income distribution in regencies/cities in Bali Province. (2) Unemployment and economic growth have a positive effect but not significant on income distribution inequality, while the human development index has a negative and significant effect on income distribution inequality.

Abstract

Wheat is one of the food commodities consumed by the Indonesian people. The need for wheat in Indonesia from year to year tends to increase but is almost entirely met through imports and makes Indonesia one of the world's largest wheat importers. Dependence on food commodities from the import side has a huge risk for national food security because in addition to the increasingly limited foreign exchange owned, there is also uncertainty in terms of quantity and price. The purpose of this study is to find out the factors that affect wheat imports in Indonesia. The variables in this study are foreign exchange reserves, international wheat prices, domestic rice prices, and the US dollar exchange rate. This study uses secondary data with a quantitative approach using 34 data. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study show 1) Foreign Exchange Reserves, International Wheat Prices, Domestic Rice Prices, and the US Dollar Exchange Rate simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the Volume of Wheat Imports in Indonesia, 2) Foreign Exchange Reserves partially have a positive and significant effect on the Volume of Wheat Imports in Indonesia, 3) International Wheat Prices partially have a negative and significant effect on the Volume of Wheat Imports in Indonesia, 4) Domestic Rice Prices and the US Dollar Exchange Rate have no significant effect on the Volume of Wheat Imports in Indonesia.

Abstract

Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for 2021, the number of couples of childbearing age (PUS) in Denpasar City ranks third with a total of 81,575. In Denpasar City, the number of active family planning (FP) participants is 63,024, while those not using contraception number 10,730, and new FP participants amount to 7,840. Choosing contraception is not an easy task for healthcare providers or related agencies, as the decision must align with the individual needs of each person. In North Denpasar, there are 21,545 PUS, with 15,854 active FP participants and 5,691 not using contraception. The relatively low number of active FP participants in Denpasar City indicates a lack of understanding of the importance of contraception within families. The main issue in Denpasar City regarding the family planning program is the insufficient use of contraceptives, as evidenced by many families having more than two children, some even reaching five. This study aims to analyse the factors affecting contraceptive use in North Denpasar. Data analysis was performed using path analysis with SPSS software. The results indicate that: 1) education level negatively affects contraceptive use in North Denpasar; 2) income level and patriarchal culture positively affect contraceptive use in North Denpasar. This implies that higher income and stronger patriarchal culture are associated with higher contraceptive use in North Denpasar; 3) education level and income negatively but not significantly affect fertility in North Denpasar, suggesting that these factors do not have a significant impact on fertility; 4) patriarchal culture and contraceptive use positively but not significantly affect fertility in North Denpasar, indicating that these factors also do not significantly impact fertility.

Abstract

PT. Bumi Daya Agrotamas aims to put pressure on the world of work to be better in carrying out all its production activities so that companies not only think about achieving maximum financial profits but also participate in preserving the environment around which the company is established... these impacts can be in the form of beneficial impacts and detrimental impacts. For companies, the various impacts are that companies oriented towards the economic aspect (profit) are also required to have a responsibility, both to the social aspect and to the environmental aspect. Based on the research background above, the author is interested in conducting research with the title "implementation of PT corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds. Bumi Daya Agrotamas towards community welfare and environmental sustainability. This research was conducted to analyze the implementation of PT's corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds. Bumi Daya Agrotamas towards community welfare and environmental sustainability. This research uses qualitative with descriptive research type, data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained was analyzed using a qualitative analysis model. The results of the research show that the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds impacts community welfare and environmental sustainability in PT case study. Bumi Daya Agrotamaskota Subulussalam. There are still many things lacking in being able to provide maximum results for the community and good cooperation between the company and the assisted community so there is still something that needs to be improved by the PT. Bumi Daya Agrotamas so that in the future there will be no social jealousy towards the PT and also here, openness is needed by the PT. Bumi Daya Agrotamas to the community so that the closeness becomes more positive and nothing undesirable happens in the future. Furthermore, corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a form of company activity in managing business to produce positive actions in the community to create a quality community.
