Abstract

Like communication itself, Public Speaking, which is part of it, has an important role in social life. All individuals, whether in daily life or in organizations, need to ensure communication can run well. Communication itself can occur between individuals or between individuals and many people. This is where Public Speaking plays its role.Public Speaking is the ability to speak in public. Its not just about talking , but you need rules and knowledge to be able to do Public Speaking well, interesting, smooth. So it is very necessary for individuals, both for their own interests and the interests of the organization, to understand and master the Public Speaking. In relation to Dharma Wanita, Public speaking knowledge is very important to develop Public Speaking skills.

Abstract

Banjaroya Village, Kulon Progo Regency has many tourism potentials, one of which is the Chocolate Cocoa Park. As an educational tourist attraction based on agrotourism, the Chocolate Cocoa Park serves several activities offered to tourists related to the cultivation of Cocoa plants and Chocolate production. However, in this case, the Chocolate Cocoa Park has not packaged and programmed the activity services well. The results of the study show that there are several things that need to be fixed in packaging and providing educational package programs at the Chocolate Cocoa Park. The thing that needs to be fixed is the way to package the tour package, it needs to display an itinerary so that tourists feel easy and can manage their time to participate in the activity. Then the programming is by grouping the activities offered according to the focus of each activity so that tourists can choose what focus activities they want to participate in.

Abstract

The ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) is a strategic platform for Southeast Asian countries to collaborate in developing the tourism industry. This study aims to explore how ATF influences the development of tourism education at the Ambarrukmo Tourism College in Yogyakarta. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving interviews with institutional managers, lecturers, and students, as well as analysis of related documents. The results of the study indicate that ATF has a positive impact through several aspects: first, improving the curriculum to be more relevant to the trends and needs of the regional tourism industry; second, improving the capabilities of lecturers through training and workshops held in the ATF series; third, opening up opportunities for international cooperation that expand academic and practical networks for the institution. These findings indicate that participation in ATF contributes significantly to the development of the quality of tourism education at STP Ambarukmo, connecting theory with practice and preparing students to face global challenges in the tourism industry. This study recommends increasing active participation in similar forums to take advantage of more learning and collaboration opportunities.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of internal motivation and external motivation on intention to revisit which is mediated by satisfaction with visiting Pualu Nusa Penida. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and distributing questionnaires to tourists. The research sample was 100 tourists, while the sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data was collected from 100 respondents using a questionnaire and analyzed using SEM PLS. Evaluation of the PLS-based structural model, apart from looking at the R-square and Q-square values, can also be carried out by fulfilling several criteria such as the Chi-Square Test, GFI (Goodness of Fit Index), SRMR (Standardized Root Residual) and NFI (Normal Fit Index) . Based on the results of the analysis using statistical tests, the results of this research are, internal motivation has a significant positive effect on tourist satisfaction, external motivation has a significant positive effect on tourist satisfaction, tourist satisfaction also has a positive effect on tourists' intention to revisit, internal motivation has a significant positive effect on intention. Tourists' return visit and external motivation have a positive influence on tourists' intention to return.

Abstract

This study examines how brand image and social media marketing influence repeat purchases on What's New Bali media. The study uses a qualitative research method. The number of respondents used in this study were 5 respondents from 5 five-star hotels in ITDC who had made repeat purchases on What's New Bali media twice or more. The data collection procedure in this study used interview guidelines. The results obtained in this study prove that there is an influence of brand image and social media marketing on repeat purchases. With the need for a marketer to expand hotel awareness and implement hotel marketing strategies in social media, it can influence repeat purchases on What's New Bali media.

Abstract

A queue is a waiting line from a service facility. Long queues are caused by the number of consumers who come more than the number of service facilities, it is necessary to apply a queuing model to overcome long queues. This research was conducted at Mc Donald's Jimbaran fast food restaurant because the fast food restaurant is located in a tourist and lecture area, causing queues. The current condition at Mcdonald’s Jimbaran there are more than one service facility, the discipline of the first come first service (FCFS) queue is in accordance with the single-phase multi-channel. After analyzed with data from 31 May 2022 to 06 June 2022 for 7 days. Based on the results of the analysis obtained, it can be concluded that at lunch time requires 4 services while at dinner time only requires 2 service.

Abstract

Najla Farid Bisyir, who created a dessert box business called Bittersweet by Najla, took advantage of the huge opportunities in the food and beverage industry in Indonesia. The popularity of culinary dessert boxes has made many small businesses start their business by selling dessert box products via social media, which means Bittersweet by Najla has many competitors. Apart from that, there are several consumer complaints regarding the price and quality of products expressed through e-commerce. Bittersweet by Najla's content marketing was also complained about because it was considered excessive and not in accordance with reality. This research aims to test and explain the influence of content marketing, price and product quality on purchasing decisions for Bittersweet by Najla consumers. This research was conducted in Denpasar City in June 2024. Data was collected using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire from 105 Bittersweet by Najla consumers who were determined based on a purposive sampling technique. The data obtained was then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The research results show that all hypotheses are supported, namely content marketing has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, price has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, and product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The implication of this research is that the better the content marketing, price and product quality, the greater the purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of tourist attraction quality on tourist satisfaction at Becici Peak, Yogyakarta. The research method used is quantitative with simple linear regression analysis with the independent variable of tourist attraction quality and the dependent variable is tourist satisfaction. Data were collected through distributing questionnaires to 100 tourist respondents at Becici Peak, Yogyakarta. The results showed that the quality of tourist attractions had a positive and significant influence on visitor satisfaction at Becici Peak by 68.3%, the remaining 31.7% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study. This study provides practical implications for Becici Peak managers in improving the quality of tourist attractions to increase visitor satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Online Single Submission (OSS) system in enhancing licensing services and accelerating development in Bima City. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research collected data through interviews, observations, and documentation, analyzing the implementation of OSS at the Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Office (DPMPTSP). The results indicate that the implementation of OSS has improved the speed, accuracy, transparency, and accessibility of licensing services. The licensing process, which previously took a long time, can now be completed within a maximum of one week. Digital socialization and real-time tracking features have also improved public understanding and reduced misuse of authority. However, the effectiveness of OSS is still hindered by several challenges, such as limited staff, inadequate budget, technical disruptions, and digital divides. Technical issues like system and network disruptions, along with resistance to change, further obstruct the process. To address these challenges, improvements in technology infrastructure, competency training, and increased transparency are required. Overall, although OSS has had a positive impact, further efforts are needed to overcome existing challenges to ensure the system's optimization in supporting the acceleration of development in Bima City.

Abstract

Badung Regency is one of the regencies/cities in Bali Province with significant potential in the small industry sector, particularly within several Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) spread across various areas in Badung Regency. One example is Darmasaba Village, which is home to 35 small-scale tile manufacturing businesses scattered across different banjars within the village. This indicates that Darmasaba Village has a substantial number of tile industries that continue to thrive in the Abiansemal District of Badung Regency. However, over time, the clay tile industry has experienced a decline due to the availability of many alternative materials, such as concrete roofs, metal tiles, aluminium roofs, and UPVC (Unplasticised Polyvinyl Chloride) roofs. The objectives of this study are (1) to analyse the simultaneous effects of capital, work hours allocation, and business age on the income of tile manufacturers in Darmasaba Village, and (2) to analyse the partial effects of capital, work hours allocation, and business age on the income of tile manufacturers in Darmasaba Village. The data used are primary, with 35 respondents participating. The analysis technique employed is multiple linear regression. The results indicate that (1) capital, work hours allocation, and business age have a significant simultaneous effect on the income of tile manufacturers in Darmasaba Village; (2) capital and business age have a positive and significant effect on the income of tile manufacturers in Darmasaba Village; (3) work hours allocation has a negative and significant effect on the income of tile manufacturers in Darmasaba Village.
