Abstract

Normal labour can result in a perineal laceration due to pressure from the baby's bottom during delivery or from an episiotomy operation to open the birth canal. Perineal injuries will have an impact on the muscles in the pelvic floor. In the East Jakarta region, there will be numerous cases of perineal rupture in 2022, both spontaneous and due to episiotomy. Many postpartum women suffer from perineal lacerations that take longer than seven days to heal. This study aims to identify the factors that influence perineal wound healing in the Kramat Jati District Health Center's operational setting. This study used a cross-sectional design. Based on the sample formula, the research sample of 110 postpartum women with perineal wounds was chosen to test the hypothesis with a different percentage. Purposive sampling was used as the sample method. Chi-Square test study of a correlation test. A questionnaire and a checklist were employed as the data collection tools to track the healing of the perineum wound, which was assessed during the respondent's postpartum visit. The results showed that there was a significant association between age (P-value 0.003; OR 3.354), parity (P-value 0.001; OR 4.028), mobilization (P-value 0.007), personal hygiene (P-value 0.001; OR 3.611), body mass index (BMI) (P-value 0.012; OR 2.682), type of perineal injury (P-value 0.001; OR 0.251), treatment (P-value 0.0001; OR 5.262) on perineal wound healing. Postpartum mothers are advised to practice good hygiene, non-pharmacological therapies, engage in active mobilization, and maintain a normal BMI. Perineal wounds might heal more quickly depending on BMI. Health services require education for health workers and perineal wound care recommendations for postpartum women.

Methods: Analytical survey method with a cross sectional approach, taking samples by total sampling using a questionnaire. Results: The results of the research on the relationship between the level of knowledge of adolescent dysmenorrhea and the behavior of handling dysmenorrhea at school in Sleman. Paste lack of knowledge as many as 23 respondents (41.1%), The behavior of handling dysmenorrhea with the highest percentage is the behavior of handling dysmenorrhea with only 26 respondents (51%). Discussion, and Conclusion: The statistical test results showed a correlation coefficient of 0.426 so that it can be stated that there is a relationship between knowledge about dysmenorrhea and behavior in handling dysmenorrhea in young women at school in Sleman with a low closeness relationship. It is hoped that the school can provide facilities or facilities to increase young women's knowledge about dysmenorrhea by holding programs and being able to work with health facilities. 426 so that it can be stated that there is a relationship between knowledge about dysmenorrhea and the behavior of handling dysmenorrhea in young women at school in Sleman with a low closeness relationship. Abstract

Introduction: Hyperemesis gravidarum refers to an extreme condition of nausea and vomiting that occurs during pregnancy. Nausea and vomiting that harm the mother differ from morning sickness, commonly experienced in early trimester pregnant women. Approximately 14.8% of pregnancies experience symptoms of nausea and vomiting, with occurrence rates ranging from 60-80% among first-time mothers (primigravidas) and 40-60% among women who have had multiple pregnancies (multigravidas). These symptoms become more severe in one in a thousand pregnancies. Purpose: This study aimed to systematically review Ginger's effectiveness compared to vitamin B6 in reducing hyperemesis gravidarum. Method: This is a systematic review of three databases (PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Willey online library). The PRISMA-ScR protocol was employed in this research review, utilizing a Population, Intervention, Comparison, and Outcome (PICO) framework. The population is first-trimester pregnant women who experience Hyperemesis gravidarum using a completely original research article comparing Ginger and vitamin B6 in reducing hyperemesis gravidarum. Results: A significant statistical distinction was observed between the Ginger and the vitamin B6 group concerning the nausea score (mean difference 0.63, CI -0.10-1.35) and vomiting score (mean difference 0.42, CI -0.13, 0.98). Conclusion: Based on the research results, there was no significant difference in the effectiveness of giving Ginger compared to vitamin B6 in reducing hyperemesis gravidarum. However, the analysis showed that the average score of giving Ginger was lower than vitamin B6. The lower the nausea or vomiting score, the better the effect of the intervention. Suggestion: Health workers (doctors and midwives) can use Ginger as an alternative to reduce hyperemesis gravidarum during early pregnancy.

Breastfeeding education provided by health professional is needed to support mothers to breastfeed their baby exclusively. Methodology: The methodology employed in this study was a narrative review where the researcher critically examines the ideas presented in several studies regarding breastfeeding education training program for health workers. Articles were selected using inclusion criteria: original research, published in English and Indonesian languages, within the last 5 years (2018-2023). A total of 50 articles were found. Ten articles meeting the inclusion criteria were included in the author's review. Conclusion: Breastfeeding education training programs have an impact on the success of breastfeeding mothers. The more healthcare professionals, especially midwives, understand breastfeeding education, the more breastfeeding mothers will be aware of the importance of breastfeeding for their children.

Abstract

The increasing population can lead to complex problems. One way to reduce the population is by implementing family planning programs. The success of the family planning program is largely determined by the participation of family planning cadres in each region. The purpose of this research was to analyze the factors that influence cadre participation in the management of family planning programs. The research method uses a cross-sectional design by analyzing the influence of age, education, length of time as a cadre, appreciation and motivation on participation. The research was conducted in the city of Banjarmasin. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with a sample size of 61 cadres. Data analysis using the Kruskal Wallis test. The results of the study found that there was an influence of motivation on cadre participation with a p value of 0.005 < α (0.05), while the variables of age, education, length of time to cadre and appreciation did not have a significant effect. The motivation of cadres must always be improved for the success of family planning programs.

Abstract

Health insurance provides access to every color of the country to get access to health services in the form of promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative efforts at affordable costs. Integrated health services that focus on patient needs (patient-centered care) will increase the active role of families and communities in making decisions related to health services to be provided and are often associated with health financing and insurance used. This Scoping review aims to explore and map the scientific evidence related to the health insurance model in patient-centered care-based health services. This study uses Arkshey & O'Malley Framework and PRISMA-ScR Checklist. In the identification of articles used using PubMed, EBSCO, ProQuest, Wiley Online Library, and Grey supporting literature such as Google Scholar and appropriate databases. The article inclusion criteria used in the search are primary articles in 2012-2022, articles from relevant Gray literature and databases, scientific articles in English and/ or Indonesian, and scientific articles that focus on the health care insurance model and patient-centered care-based health services. While the exclusion criteria used are articles in the form of guidelines, standard operating procedures, opinion papers, reviews, commentaries, research articles that do not use English and Indonesian, and research articles that focus on medicine-centered care are not included in this review. The keywords used are patient-centered care and health insurance. Assessment of Article quality using the Critical Appraisal Skills Program (CASP) and Joanna Bridge Institute Tools (JBI). A total of 6,388 articles were selected and 14 articles were reviewed. Research articles were reviewed from 8 countries with 12 articles using quantitative research design and 2 articles using qualitative research design. From the review article, the author identified 2 main themes, namely the use of health insurance and the application of patient-centered care. Patient satisfaction among Health Insurance users is higher than patients who do not use health insurance because health insurance provides financial protection for health services. The use of health insurance based on patient-centered care is expected to provide positive benefits to health services such as improving patient healing, reducing unnecessary actions/ care, and reducing the length of hospital treatment so that it is expected to reduce the financing made by patients and health insurance used.
