<![CDATA[The rapid of education today requires empowerment skills to construct a science, one of the ways is adapting and training in a skill of problem-solving to face more advanced through learning and teaching materials. The purpose of this research is to know the difference skill of problem-solving based on learning science in junior high school in the different academic. Collecting data using rubric problem-solving skill given to students with academic distinction on April. The instrument of this research is a rubric problem-solving skill validated by the experts. The data were analysed with descriptive quantitative using Microsoft Exel. The result of data analysis of this research, there are some differences in problem-solving skills science of a junior high school of difference academic. A student who got the high score in academic tends to have better problem-solving skills.]]>

<![CDATA[Biology learning cannot be separated from visual activities which a part of process skill approach. Visual activities involve process and supported by images. Meanwhile, the images are something that can depute real objects and have the same character of colours and shape as the original. The process is a series activities which take place gradually and continuously to achieve a goal. As for 'process image' is the series of pictures which visualise a phenomenon or a natural fact, so that students can understand the concepts and theories of biology that deals with the pictures. This paper aimed to describe the role of 'process image' to enhance High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), retentions, process skills and learning achievements. The method of this research was analysed from some international journals about the effectiveness of process pictures in the Biology learning. Media of process image has many advantages in a visualisation of abstract concepts in the biology learning.]]>

<![CDATA[This study describes the learning by using the model with LKS jurisprudential inquiry-beside multi-representation. This study aims to determine the Jurisprudential inquiry learning model with LKS multi-representation the kinematics of rectilinear motion of matter in the high school. This research uses a descriptive method of qualitative research. The from data describing critical reviews written by experts from a documentation, interviews, proceedings or reference book and then the data is analysed as a clarification process and data grouping. The results showed that the jurisprudential inquiry learning model with LKS Multipresentasi on the material kinematics of rectilinear motion in high school can make learning more effective because students gain experience learned directly so that students understand the concept easily, it can improve learning outcomes and skills the ability of scientific process skill of the students.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesia is a country that continuous to improve and develop its education system. The development of learners abilities that are needed nowadays not only develop cognitive ability alone will be much more than that, it needs an attitude awareness in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of the problem-based learning model with mind mapping technique. Biological material used in this study is the subject of the virus. The first research result is learning the model of learning for student cognitive learning result. Based on the results of ANAKOVA analysis shows the significance level less than 0.05, then this shows the significant effect of the difference between the learning class and control class on the learning achievement of cognitive aspects. The second research result is to test the difference of learning the result of the affective domain between problem-based learning model with mind mapping technique and conventional learning model. The result of learning effective sphere which is assessed based on direct observation covering 5 indicators namely; Discipline, daring opinion, responsibility, cooperation and tolerance, Based on the analysis One sample t-test 2 indicator shows the level of significance less than 0.05, then this shows there are significant differences 2 indicators of effective learning achievement. 2 indicators are daring opinion and cooperation.]]>

<![CDATA[The application of inquiry based learning is important to be developed in education because it trains the students to investigate a problem and find the solution of it. The aim of this research is to investigate the implementation of inquiry based learning in the learning process at the middle school in Masaran. This research belongs to qualitative research. The techniques of collecting the data used are observation and deep interview with Science teacher of SMP Negeri 1 Masaran. Miles & analyse Huberman was analyzing the obtained data. The data in this research are divided into two sub topic, the instructional process done by the teacher and the use of infrastructure supporting the instructional process. The result shows that the instructional process in SMP N 1 Masaran has not implemented the inquiry based learning optimally. Regarding the teacher perception, the time allocation is limited to cover all the activities consisted of this learning model. The other finding dealing with the second topic is the infrastructures in this school are not utilised in the instructional process. The cause is similar to the former. The time allotment given is not sufficient to complete the basic competence that should be gained.]]>

<![CDATA[One of Local wisdom in the form of character noble is tembang macapat. Tembang macapat as one the Javanese literary works will be piwulang. Local wisdom is developed among the community through oral tradition in the form of habits singing tembang macapat either individually or collectively. One of the famous tembang macapat is Serat Kalatidha written by Ranggawarsita fromSurakarta's royal family. Serat Kalatidha contains the moral education and character values that are useful for life. Moral values in Javanese cases if examined and observed contents are still relevant to today's society life. So it can be used as a role model and a source of moral values for Indonesian. In the current era of the globalization, there is a tendency of people to accept outside cultures directly, this is not necessarily good and useful. For that can be anticipated by keeping take care values of local cultural wisdom. The moral values that contained in Serat Kalatidha, is a legacy inheritance believed by society in the past, which can be used as character formation.]]>

<![CDATA[This article reported the results of an experimental research about the effect of guided discovery with LKS mind mapping the results of teaching and learning of physics activities learning in SMAN 1 Cluring. The objectives of this research were to describe the learning activities during guided discovery with LKS mind mapping. Thie guided discovery’s model with LKS mind mapping measured the cognitive learning outcomes. The data of the cognitive learning outcomes in elasticity was collected by using post test. Then, the data collected was analyzed by using independent sample t-test (SPSS 22). The difference of the achievement between experiment class and control class was did by obtained significant value of 0.759 and 0.895 It means the result of this research proved that the use of guided discovery model with LKS mind mapping significantly affected the cognitive learning outcomes at eleventh grade SMAN 1 Cluring. The design of this research was post test only control group design. The data of the learning activities was collected by using observation. Based on the data, the average of the learning activities was 85,76% which means active.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this research is to analyse concept understanding profile of heat and temperature by applying essay grading technique. This research is a descriptive research using quantitative approach. The subjects of the research are 10th-grade students in Surakarta academic year of 2016/2017. The number of samples was 95 students. Sample selection technique used purposive sampling that selected students from high, medium and low categorised school. Data were collected from test and interview. Before the questions were tested to the research subjects, the essay questions were validated by experts. Based on the result and data analysis, concept understanding profile of 10th-grade students in Surakarta on heat and temperature as follows: 6,32% students in the high category, 42,11% in an adequate category, 45,26% students in a low category is and 6,32% in the very low category.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is the study of physics (Newton's laws) aided worksheet based on RGV to SMA with guided discovery learning setting. This study aims to determine the guided discovery learning model aided worksheet based on RGV on Newton's laws in senior high school. The study in this article uses a descriptive method by describing the result of examined data qualitatively in the form of critical reviews written by experts from a variety of sources. Sources of information are obtained from data observation, journals, documentation, interviews, proceedings or books of reference and then the data are analysed as a process of data clarifying and grouping. The results showed that the guided discovery learning model aided worksheets based on RGV on Newton's law material in senior high school can make learning activity be more effective because the students can gain learning experience directly so that they can understand the learning concept easily, which means that it can improve their learning achievement and their science process skills.]]>
