Abstract

This research is focused on examining sociocultural-based character education through observing the cultural backgrounds of the different students at the Riyadlul ‘Ulum Integrated High School - Tasikmalaya. The research method used is the descriptive qualitative type with the determination of informants using a purposive sampling technique. Research data were obtained from observations, interviews, and FGD (Focus Group Discussion) and analyzed using data analysis techniques from Miles and Huberman. Sociocultural-based character education emphasizes the formation of characters that are in accordance with the social values prevailing in society. This is done by introducing these values from an early age through various activities at school or in the community. In sociocultural-based character education, the formation of individual character is not something that is separate from the social and cultural environment in which the individual is located. Therefore, this approach emphasizes the importance of integrating the formation of individual character with social and cultural values that exist in society. Thus, individuals can have strong character, be rooted in a positive culture and social values, and be able to contribute to improving the quality of social life in society.

Abstract

The aims to find out the procession of the Gropyokan Iwak tradition and the dimensions of Pancasila student profiles in the Gropyokan Iwak tradition as social studies learning resources. The problem is focused on the Gropyokan Iwak Guna tradition as a social studies learning resource in schools to strengthen the Profil Pelajar Pancasila. The data were collected through in-depth interviews and documentation and were analyzed qualitatively. This study concludes that the Gropyokan Iwak procession is carried out during the dry season which begins with a joint prayer while asking permission led by a religious leader. The peak of the procession is carried out with the community entering the reservoir together and catching fish. This tradition is interpreted by the people around the Sonorejo reservoir as local wisdom that can encourage the process of social integration in society through a process of direct social interaction. The sub-element dimensions of the Pancasila student profile appear, namely 1) understanding of beliefs; 2) understand the connectedness of the earth's ecosystems; 3) protect the natural environment; 4) explore and compare cultural knowledge, beliefs, and practices; 5) participate in the joint decision-making process; 6) cooperation; 7) communication to achieve common goals; 8) positive interdependence; 9) social coordination; 10) Confident, resilient, and adaptive; 11) Identify, clarify, and process information and ideas; and 12) produce original ideas, works and actions. The character dimensions of Pancasila student profiles in the Gropyokan Iwak tradition can be integrated into social studies learning materials integrated thematically of the social life of the community.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the national disintegration conflict and how it impacts nationalism. Nationalism is very important in maintaining the integrity of a nation because basically it is a national ideology that teaches love for the motherland and the people. It can be seen that Indonesian nationalism is currently facing big challenges such as the frequent occurrence of KKN which are spread throughout the country, the uncontrolled entry of foreign cultures, and the loss of confidence in the nation and its own country. The nationalism of the Indonesian people is currently experiencing changes both in terms of challenges and development compared to the past. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. In this case, researchers interpret and explain the data obtained by researchers from interviews, observation, documentation, so as to get answers to problems in detail and clearly. The results of this paper show that nationalism can be realized according to the abilities of each individual. Initially, the ideology of Pancasila as the basis of the state with the motto Bhineka Tunggal Ika was believed to tend to unite existing differences. There are many ideologies that already exist in this country that have received public support. Interaction between people of different ethnicities, religions and classes is easy to establish. is closely related to the understanding of differences of opinion with each other, as shown by the cooperation between different tribes which can be easily carried out with rational considerations. But the phenomenon of collapse that starts at the grassroots level is astonishing. The conclusion in this paper is nationalism as an assessment or evaluation of the love for the homeland and the nation for awareness and responsibility as citizens.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai bagaimana memperkuat integrasi nasional di era digital melalui penguatan resolusi konflik di era digital sebagai perwujudan warga negara yang baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis konsep resolusi konflik dan bagaimana penerapannya dalam konteks perwujudan warga negara yang baik di era digital . Metode penelitian yang dgunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif dengan menggunakan data sekunder dari literatur yang relevan seperti buku, jurnal akademik, dan sumber-sumber online. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis melalui pendekatan kualitatif untuk menghasilkan temuan-temuan yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep resolusi konflik dalam konteks perwujudan warga negara yang baik di era digital ialah dengan memperkenalkan peserta didik pada metode penyelesaian konflik yang berbasis dialog, partisipasi aktif, dan pemecahan masalah yang kreatif. Selain itu, Penerapan konsep resolusi konflik dalam pembelajaran PKn dapat meningkatkan kesadaran peserta didik tentang pentingnya menghargai perbedaan dan mempromosikan perdamaian serta keadilan sosial. Teknologi digital seperti media sosial dan platform online dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu untuk memfasilitasi diskusi dan kolaborasi antar peserta didik. Namun, penggunaan teknologi digital juga memiliki risiko seperti penyebaran informasi yang tidak valid dan peningkatan polarisasi dan kebencian di media sosial. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman tentang bagaimana konsep resolusi konflik dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran PKn di era digital dan memberikan implikasi untuk pengembangan kurikulum PKn yang lebih adaptif dengan perkembangan teknologi digital.

Abstract

Covid-19 has become a global pandemic; this impacts all sectors, including the economic sector and people's buying interest. As a result, the sales process must also be carried out in their respective homes, so in this case, they have undergone a transformation based on digital technology. This study aims to describe the sales process strategy during the Covid-19 Pandemic and Post-Covid-19 Pandemic, find out the forms of media and methods used in digital-based sales and purchases, and examine the challenges faced in digital-based sales, and identify the impact of sales digital-based to economic resilience. This study uses a qualitative approach. Design The research used in this study is phenomenology. Qualitative research data is descriptive; this data is presented in words, pictures, and tables at the research location used in Surabaya City, East Java Province. The informants of this research were determined using purposive sampling chosen with specific considerations and goals. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, in-depth interviews, focus group discussion (FGD), and documentation. In this study it was found that traders needed to have a new strategy to continue marketing their wares during the Covid-19 pandemic and post-covid-19 pandemic. This new strategy became a new opportunity and added income because they could sell online and offline. Furthermore, there needs to be an increase in the quality control of merchandise so that buyers feel safe buying and transacting.

Abstract

Abstract: As the year 2024 approaches, which is often referred to as the political year, the atmosphere of Indonesian politics is believed to be heating up. Hate speech, fake news hate speech, fake news, identity politics and money politics are threats in giving birth to elections with integrity. To achieve victory, politicians have the potential to utilize all means to win voters, including young or millennial voters. Generation Millennials are the generation born between 1980 and 2000. They are characterized as creative, connected to social media and have high self-confidence. high self- confidence. If the destructive potential of political battles hit their unstable emotional maturity, it will certainly have a negative impact on the neglect of morality, ethics and to the neglect of morality, ethics and the value of civility in millennial life. For this reason, participatory activist school cadres are needed to strengthen nationalism and form millennials. strengthen nationalism and form smart, critical and active millennials in facing political turbulence in the era of political in facing political turbulence in the post truth era in the 2024 elections in the 2024 election. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques using literature studies, observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The result of the research explained how the participatory activist cadre school was able to provide participants with an understanding of the situation of democracy, national politics national politics and how to strengthen nationalism that is appropriate in facing the developing political conditions. Strengthening nationalism especially in terms of character education through the values of morality, ethics and political civility, both physical actions and the use of both physical actions and utilization of social media in supporting this. The conclusion of the research is participatory activist cadre schools can form a basic understanding of supervision and preventive action against potential destructive threats in the 2024 elections.

Abstract

The development of knowledge sharing in distance education has become a significant topic in the era of globalization, supported by innovation and technological advancements. Open University (UT) is an educational institution that adopts a distance education model and utilizes information technology as a learning medium. UT employs various forms of e-learning, such as online tutorials, television programs, web resources, digital libraries, and more, to facilitate interaction among students, course materials, tutors, and fellow students. This article delves into how knowledge sharing management is crucial in the context of distance education, drawing insights from UT's instructional model and knowledge management theory. Knowledge management is considered essential for enhancing student performance during the learning process and in their future careers. The article also outlines how information technology serves as a tool to facilitate knowledge sharing in distance education. This research offers valuable insights into how knowledge management and knowledge sharing can be applied within the realm of distance education, particularly at institutions like Open University. It serves as a guide for other educational organizations seeking to enhance the effectiveness of their distance learning programs by implementing principles of knowledge management and information technology.

Abstract

This article aims to compare nine features of digital citizenship with case studies conducted on digital citizen participation in encouraging a more democratic and accountable government. A case study approach was used in this research through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Researchers have contributed to developing case study research from various scientific disciplines. This case study research encourages a detailed investigation of the unit of analysis in its context. The results of this study show that digital citizenship education can encourage digital citizen participation in a more accountable and democratic government. Therefore, today's society needs to be trained on the nine elements of digital citizenship to collaborate and cooperate with various parties in ensuring that tensions between digital citizens and the government can find common ground to realize Pancasila Democracy. This study expands the theoretical discourse and practice of developing digital citizen participation towards Pancasila Democracy.
