Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan sebuah proses dimana guru membantu peserta didik ke dalam sebuah perubahan yang dianggap baik. Inti dari sebuah pendidikan ialah sebuah proses belajar mengajar. Guru sebagai pemegang peranan utama, dimana guru memandu sebuah proses pembelajaran dan menciptakan hubungan timbal balik Antara guru dan peserta didik dalam suasana belajar demi tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan sebagai program kurikuler berfungsi sebagai wahana pengembangan karakter yang demokrasi dan bertanggung jawab. Melalui pembelajaran PKn di sekolah sebagai pusat pengembangan wawasan, sikap, dan keterampilan dalam kehidupan demokratis. Oleh karena itu, agar proses pembelajaran dan bimbingan dapat terarah dan mencapai yujuan yang telah ditetapkan maka seorang calon guru PKn MI harus mulai mengembangkan kompetensi profesionalnya yang berkenaan dengan kemampuan mengemas sebuah pembelajaran yang mencakup penguasaan materi pembelajaran bidang studi dan substansi keilmuan pada kurikulum mata pelajaran (materi, struktur, konsep serta pola pikir keilmuan yang mendukung PKn). Tugas PKn dengan paradigma barunya (paradigma dalam konteks ini merupakan cara berpikir baru tentang PKn yang sifatnya mendasar seperti: materi pokok keilmuan, visi dan misi, serta model atau kerangka berpikir yang digunakan dalam proses pendidikan kewarganegaraan di Indonesia) yaitu mengembangkan pendidikan demokrasi dengan tiga fungsi pokoknya yaitu mengembangkan kecerdasan warga negara (civic intelligence), membina tanggung jawab warga negara (civic responsibility), dan mendorong partisipasi warga negara (civic participation). Seorang calon guru PKn MI wajib mempersiapkan kemampuannya dalam memahami paradigm baru PKn sehingga kelak dalam praktiknya kelak para calon guru PKn MI tidak lagi mengalami kesulitan dalam memilih dan menyusun materi serta menentukan model pembelajaran yang cocok untuk pokok bahasan tertentu.

Abstract

Character education which is intended to love the motherland is one of the character education that must be instilled for every young generation from an early age. The purpose of this study is to find out how to instill national character (nationalism) through learning Citizenship Education in Primary Schools. The method used is the study of literature (literature study) on books and learning tools for Citizenship Education in other Primary Schools. The results showed that Citizenship Education in Primary Schools has contributed in every effort to instill national character (nationalism) through several schemes: 1) Planning to instill national character (nationalism) by incorporating the value of national character (nationalism) into the Syllabus, thematic RPP , and Citizenship Education teaching materials in Elementary Schools; 2) How to assess the inculcation of national character (nationalism) through Citizenship Education in Primary Schools by assessing the cognitive domain through tests, affective domains through teacher observation sheets and coordination with religious and sports teachers, and psychomotor domains through the process and results of the assessment; 3) The strategy of instilling national character (nationalism) through Citizenship Education in Primary Schools is through comprehensive discussions and methods.

Abstract

As a value system, Pancasila provides a fundamental basis in the life of the community, nation, and state. The essence of the fourth principle of Pancasila is about democracy which is based on wisdom that is rooted in the moral principle of humanity and divinity. Therefore, according to the Pancasila view, democracy must be based on religious moral originating from God, justice and civilization. Nowadays, by seeing the application of democracy in Indonesia still has many problems, likes freedom as a symbol of democracy is not balanced with its quality, resulting in behavior that is contrary to democracy. Although freedom is guaranteed in the Constitution, oppression, discrimination, marginalization still occurs. Democracy does not only require laws, regulations, and institutions capable of enforcing it, but also democratic attitudes, namely the willingness to build a compromise with the awareness that a person cannot realize all that is desired (a combination of individual awareness and group awareness). True democracy requires good citizens. Therefore, democratic education that integrated through Citizenship Education is absolutely necessary with the aim of preparing citizens who are able to act with democratic ethics.

Abstract

AbstrakIstilah demokrasi secara singkat didefinisikan sebagai pemerintahan atau kekuasaan dari rakyat, oleh rakyat, dan untuk rakyat. Jika ditinjau dari sudut organisasi, negara demokrasi adalah negara yang diselenggarakan berdasarkan kehendak dan kemauan rakyat, negara demokrasi yaitu negara kedaulatan rakyat. Sedangkan etika memiliki arti: ilmu yang membahas tentang apa yang biasa dilakukan atau ilmu tentang adat kebiasaan; etika dapat juga dijelaskan sebagai “ilmu pengetahuan yang membahas tentang asas-asas akhlak (moral). Adapun visi dari Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan itu sendiri yaitu agar menjadi warga negara yang baik yang memiliki civic knowledge, civic dispositions, serta mempu mengartikulasi civic skills (berkaitan dengan kecakapan intelektual: mengidentifikasi, menggambarkan, menjelaskan, menganalisis, menilai, dan mengambil serta mempertahankan posisi atas suatu isu; dan kecakapan partisipatif: berinteraksi, memantau, dan memengaruhi) dalam kehidupan masyarakat, bangsa, dan negara yang demokratis. Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan diharapkan dapat melahirkan warga negara demokratis yang memiliki kecerdasan, kritis, bertanggung jawab serta partisipatif dalam menghadapi perubahan sabagai akibat dan tantangan globalisasi.Kata kunci: Etika Demokrasi,  Demokrasi Pancasila, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan abstractThe term democracy is briefly defined as the government or power of the people, by the people, and for the people. When viewed from the point of view of the organization, a democratic state is a country organized based on the will and will of the people, a democratic state that is a country of people's sovereignty. While ethics has a meaning: science that discusses what is commonly done or the science of customs; ethics can also be described as "the science of moral principles." The vision of Citizenship Education itself is to be a good citizen who has civic knowledge, civic dispositions, and articulate civic skills (relating to intellectual proficiency: identifying, describing, describing, analyzing, assessing, and taking and maintaining positions on an issue; and participatory skills: interacting, monitoring, and influencing) in the lives of democratic societies, nations, and countries. Abstract

Kerusuhan merupakan suatu tindak kejahatan, dimana sekelompok orang berkumpul bersama dengan tujuan melakukan tindak kekerasan. Kerusuhan ini terjadi karena maraknya berita bohong/hoax yang beredar dikalangan masyarakat, sehingga hal ini membuat suatu keresahan. Melihat fenomena ini menggambarkan terjadinya penurunan moral pada generasi bangsa. Hal ini dikarenakan sebagian besar pengguna media sosial adalah mereka yang masih duduk dibangku sekolah, kurangnya ilmu dalam menyaring setiap informasi yang ada membuat mereka menjadi mudah terprovokasi. Maka disinilah pentingnya peran pendidikan kewarganegaraan sebagai pendidikan moral dan karakter dalam membangun kecerdasan moral bangsa. Dengan membangun kecerdasan moral diharapkan dapat memperbaiki karakter penerus bangsa karena pendidikan kewarganegaraan merupakan salah satu upaya dalam membekali peserta didik sebagai generasi muda dalam memutuskan rantai penyebaran hoax, karena masa depan negara ini tergantung dari kualitas para penerus bangsanya. Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan sebagai wahana Pendidikan Moral diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi kepada peserta didik dalam memahami pentingnya nilai-nilai moral dan dijadikan sebagai pedoman dalam bertingkah laku khususnya dalam menanggapi berita hoax. Riot is a crime, where a group of people gather together with the aim of committing acts of violence. This riot occurred due to the rampant hoaxes / hoaxes circulating among the public, so that this created anxiousness. Seeing this phenomenon illustrates the occurrence of moral decline in the nation's generation. This is because most social media users are those who are still in school, the lack of knowledge in filtering every available information makes them easily provoked. So this is where the important role of education in instilling character education, to build the nation's moral intelligence. By building moral intelligence, it is hoped that it can improve the character of the nation's successor because education is the right place to break the chain of hoaxes, the future of this country depends on the quality of the nation's successors. So it is hoped that it can make students understand the importance of moral values, so that they can be used as guidelines in behavior, and behave as humans, and have the ability to understand the differences between right and wrong so that they are more careful in taking actions, such as thinking before taking action. And moral education is expected not only in theory, but the need for direct practice, so that students can get used to how to behave properly and correctly. Kata kunci: Berita Hoax, peran PKn, moral

Abstract

Abstract:In a cluster of social science, Citizenship Education has a role in developing social skills and become a media of preparing smart and thoughtful citizen towards citizenship issues, and it also gives alternative solution for a particular problem. This study aimed to describe the students’ social skills and contemporary issue understanding through Project Citizen-Based Learning in Citizenship Education as a part of General Compulsory Courses (MKWU). This research used descriptive qualitative method which took place at Ahmad Dahlan University. This research indicated that the steps of Project Citizen could develop the students’ social skills and contemporary issue understanding. The development of social learning through Citizen Project-based learning model in Citizenship Education as MKWU was carried out through cooperation, mutual assistance, communication, and responsibility. The understanding of contemporary issues was carried out through the principles of Project Citizen which included; (1) possession of soft-skill communication in doing task/project, (2) ability to manage time for completing task/project, and (3) interaction with technology in completing project.Abstrak:Dalam rumpun ilmu sosial, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan memiliki peran dalam mengembangkan keterampilan sosial, dan menjadi wahana dalam mepersiapkan warga negara yang cerdas dan peka terhadap isu-isu Kewarganegaran serta mampu memberikan solusi alternatif terhadap suatu permasalahan.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengembangan keterampilan sosial dan pemahaman isu kekinian mahasiswa melalui model pembelajaran berbasis Project Citizen pada MKWU Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang berlokasi di Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa langkah-langakah Project Citizen dapat mengembangkan keterampilan sosial dan pemahaman isu kekinian mahasiswa. Pengembangan keterampilan sosial melalui model pembelajaran berbasis Project Citizen pada MKWU Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan meliputi kerjasama, gotong royong, berkomunikasi dan bertanggung jawab.  Sementara itu, pemahaman terhadap isu kekinian dilakukan melalui prinsip Project Citizen yang meliputi (1) kepemilikan soft-skill berkomunikasi saat mengerjakan tugas, (2) kemamuan mengatur waktu dalam menyelesaikan tugas, dan (3) interaksi dengan teknologi dalam penyelesian tugas.

Abstract

The aim of this study described the idea of religious character education in elementary schools. The researchers used literature studies, namely by examining journals, books, research reports, magazines which used to identify religious character education in elementary schools. In analysing the data, the researchers used Miles and Huberman models which were done by data reduction, display, and conclusion. The results showed that the education character in elementary schools was a strategic effort in order to teach students of the values of religious characters to the next stage. The religious character was based on religious values. The implementation of religious education character faced challenging, for instance, from curriculum, mindset, teacher, principal, or even bureaucracy. For this reason, it was needed to face the problem by involving several parties. To be a good character was not only a task on the campus or formal school, but also in the family. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan pada pemahaman nilai nasionalisme siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran PPKn dengan metode komprehensif dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode konvensional; (2) perbedaan pada sikap terhadap nilai nasionalisme siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran PPKn dengan metode komprehensif dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode konvensional; dan (3) keefektifan metode komprehensif untuk pengembangan nilai nasionalisme (pemahaman dan sikap terhadap nilai nasionalisme) dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakanpenelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian siswa kelas VIII, sampel dipilih dengan teknik random sampling (kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, nontes, dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan MANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan pemahaman nilai nasionalisme siswa kelas eksperimen (metode komprehensif) dan kelas kontrol (metode konvensional); (2) terdapat perbedaan sikap terhadap nilai nasionalisme siswa kelas eksperimen (metode komprehensif) dan siswa kelas kontrol (metode konvensional); dan (3) metode komprehensif lebih efektif untuk pengembangan nilai nasionalisme (pemahaman dan sikap terhadap nilai nasionalisme).

Abstract

This study purposed to describe the communication pattern of students at the University of Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta and described Civic Virtue implementation through civic education in higher education in terms of forming young generation communication patterns. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method. The subject of the study was five lecturers of civic education. Data were collected through interviews, observation, documentation, and focus group discussion (FGD). The data were analyzed by using Miles and Huberman’s principles as data reduction, data display, and stating the conclusion. The result of the research showed that the students’ pattern of communication at higher education was influenced by some factors were environment and knowledge factor. The fostering of Civic Virtue through civic education in higher education in forming young generation communication pattern has existed in the process of Civic Virtue fostering that involves democratic values, self-control, and prioritizing plurality interest. The Civic Virtue in the category civic disposition involves responsibility, self-discipline, human rights respect, willingness to hear, negotiating, and compromising. Besides, the Civic Virtue in the category of civic commitment involves a commitment to the implementation of democratic citizenship rights, responsibility for democratic citizenship, constitutionalism, and tendency to participate politically

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to explore the efforts of civic virtue coaching in elementary schools. The research method used is descriptive qualitative — retrieval of data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model. The subjects of the study were the first-grade students of SD N 4 Darmakradenan, Ajibarang, Banyumas, Indonesia, 2019/2020 academic year. The results showed that the development of Civic Virtue in Elementary Schools at SD N 4 Darmakradenan Ajibrarabang Banyumas was formulated by instilling Civic Virtue concepts on a scale of concept recognition about nationality to foster a sense of love for the motherland. Besides, the findings also confirm that Pancasila Education and Citizenship (PPKn) in Elementary Schools serve as a bridge in the efforts to foster Civic Virtue in Primary Schools 4 N Darmakradenan, Ajibarang, Banyumas. Further research on the opportunity to encourage Civic Virtue in Primary Schools is recommended in a new study in this articleKeywords: Civic Virtue, Elementary School, Coaching.Abstrak.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi usaha pembinaan civic virtue di Sekolah Dasar. Metode penleitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Pengambilan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisi data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa siswi kelas 1 SD N 4 Darmakradenan, Ajibarang, Banyumas,Indonesia,Tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembinaan Civic Virtue di Sekolah Dasar di SD N 4 Darmakradenan Ajibrarabang Banyumas di formulasikan dengan menanamkan konsep-konsep Civic Virtue dalam skala pengenalan konsep tentang kebangsaan sehingga dapat menumbuhkan rasa cinta tanah air. Selain itu, hasil temuan juga menegaskan bahwa Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaan (PPKn) di Sekolah Dasar menjadi jembatan dalam upaya pembinaan Civic Virtue di Sekolah Dasar SD N 4 Darmakradenan, Ajibarang, Banyumas.  Penelitian lebih lanjut tentang peluang pembinaan Civic Virtue di Sekolah Dasar di anjurkan dalam penelitian selanjutnya dalam artikel ini.Kata Kunci: civic virtue, sekolah dasar, pembinaan.
