Abstract

Dilan is 1990’s novel by Pidi Baiq. The novel, which was published by Pastel Books in 2014, was able to achieve maximum sales, especially in terms of youth segmentation. This can be seen from the high enthusiasm of young people toward Dilan's novels. It is not surprising that the novel can attract readers, judging by the interesting and simple story ideas as well as the humorous and romantic demeanor. In addition, the storyline of the characters in it can be told very well by the author accompanied by dialogue, and the words in it are written using standard language characters and accents. Thus, this writing is structured based on the aim of presenting the use of standard language for the character Dilan in the novel Dilan: Dia is Dilanku in 1990. The writing method used to support this writing is using a qualitative method.

Abstract

The modern era is an era marked by the development of science and technology as well as socio-cultural developments that take place rapidly through various sources and media. Communication media is often used by the public in a positive learning world, for example as a means of delivering moral messages. There are many types of moral messages conveyed through communication media, one of which is through films. This study aims to determine the impact of social inequality and moral messages contained in the film 'Parasite'. The method used is qualitative and quantitative methods, namely through observation of dialogue data in films, expressions, and plot practices, action data in each scene, demands from each story session, and also audience comments. The results obtained from this parasitic film can criticize life in South Korea, especially the socio-economic gap between the rich and the poor. This film also contains many hidden meanings, such as the comparison of body odor as a social marker between rich and poor families, the help of insiders in the world of work, and the comparison of the meaning of rain for the rich as a blessing, for the poor it is a disaster.

Abstract

This film is based on a true story about the hero of Indonesian women's emancipation named Kartini who was given the noble title of Raden Ajeng Kartini. Kartini grew up watching her mother, Ngashira, become an outcast and considered a maid because she had no royal blood. Kartini fought for the right to education for everyone, especially women. This film is a journey of Kartini, a character who struggles against tradition and even her family to fight for the equal rights of all Indonesian people. From film Raden Ajeng Kartini, the researcher aims to analyze the importance of gender equality in Indonesian society at that time. The use of the method applied in the analysis of the Kartini film is a qualitative method, the researcher chose the qualitative method because it focuses more on the historical process and meaning of this film. In the past, Indonesian people were very thick with Indonesian Javanese culture, so residents had to obey these rules, otherwise it would be considered strange. Therefore, this study concludes that the end result is that gender equality is very important for the social environment, women can also become successful and independent people without leaving customs and culture.

Abstract

Literary works are creations of aesthetic values that the author wants to communicate through writing, such as telling a story in the first person or in the third person. The literary novel "Pulang" by a writer named Dervish with the pen name "Tere Liye". This novel is about traveling home, going through battle after battle, embracing all hatred and pain for peace. This study aims to describe religious moral values, social moral values and personal moral values in the novel by Tere Liye. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques are library techniques, listening and taking notes. The results of this study determine the moral values in the novel by Tere Liye, namely religious moral values, social moral values and personal moral values. In this novel, Bujang never violates Mamak's mandate that he is forbidden to drink, which shows the existence of religious moral values. In addition, the social moral values in this novel are manifested in togetherness, and mutual cooperation, especially in the Tong family. And the moral value of an individual is how Bujang eliminates his inner fear.

Abstract

The diversity of genres and novel themes in the world, especially in Indonesia, has grown rapidly. In addition to entertainment, the novel also contains a moral message from the author that she wants to convey to her readers. “Imperfect” is a novel by Meira Anastasia, this novel raises the issue of body shaming and the motivation for self-love. This novel tells about Meira, who is the wife of an actor and also a director to appear perfect. Pressure from family, friends, and the environment finally makes Meira feel insecure and hate herself. In this book, Meira tells her anxiety in a language that is flexible and relaxed, she also adds witty illustrations that make this book interesting. This book turns a negative view of an imperfect body into a positive one. This study aims to analyze the moral message contained in the novel "Imperfect". This study uses a qualitative method and will examine and analyze the moral values contained in the novel that can motivate positive change. The results of the research on the novel "Imperfect" have many moral messages such as resilience in dealing with problems such as body shaming, motivation to love oneself, and turning insecurity into gratitude.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of socio-scientific issues on scientific literacy and higher order thinking skills of students in science learning. This research is a type of meta-analysis research. This research data comes from the analysis of 20 national or international journals that have been published from 2016-2022. The search for data sources comes from the Google Scholar, Eric Journal, ScienceDirect, and Springer databases. The sampling technique is purposive sampling technique. The data that is used as a sample must know the criteria that have a relationship with the research variables, namely social science on scientific literacy and students' higher order thinking skills in science learning. Data analysis is a quantitative data analysis technique with the help of JSAP.. The results of the study indicate that the use of socio-scientific issues affects students' higher order thinking skills by 47% and scientific literacy by 53% with an n-Gain of 0.50 medium category. This shows that the use of socio-scientific issues in science learning has a significant effect on students' higher-order thinking skills and scientific literacy.

Abstract

Pragmatic transfer is currently the subject of research by many researchers. Sociopragmatic and linguistic pragmatic factors were discovered as aspects influencing practical transfers. The aim of this study is to examine the aspects that drive the development of pragmatic transfer. This study used the discourse completion test. This required interviewing 33 of his English students and 33 of her Arabic students. This research shows that there is a psychoparagmatic dimension to how foreign language learners use and influence the language they are learning in interacting with others. By observing the psychology of the languages ​​spoken by Arabic and English students in UIN Alauddin Makassar, the mental-practical aspects that were the focus of the researcher's analysis of this study were found to be social-practical. It had the same effect as the physical aspect.

Abstract

 This study examines the Ethics of Communication between students and the teacher at Dayah Jamiah Al-Aziziyah Samalanga, where as in this study will discuss the forms and ethics of communication that exist between students and the teacher. Communication between the students and the teacher of Dayah Jamiah Al-Aziziyah is definitely established on various occasions, so that there is no activity without communication. But the communication that is established is still limited to the form of communication that has not led to ethics in communication, even though communication ethics is something very important in the communication process. So, the focus of this research is on how the ethics of communication between students and the teacher at Dayah Jamiah Al-Aziziyah Samalanga. This study uses qualitative research with the type of field research, namely a field study that examines the ethical issues of communication between students and the teacher in the perspective of Islamic communication. The data collection technique was carried out by observing, interviewing and documenting the ethics of communication between students and the teacher in various aspect. This study aims to determine the ethics of communication between students and the teacher at Dayah Jamiah Al-Aziziyah Samalanga, where the communication ethics used are very good and perfect. With good communication ethics between students and the teacher, it is easier to establish communication because they take care of each other in communicating. Communication ethics is one aspect that needs to be considered in communicating with anyone, including communication between students and the teacher at Dayah Jamiah Al-Aziziah.

Abstract

To realize the entrepreneurial mindset, entrepreneurship education is needed to produce reliable and qualified entrepreneurs, where the family is the closest person who can provide such education. This study aims to determine how the process of entrepreneurship education in the family, knowing the cultivation of entrepreneurial spirit in children in the family, as well as knowing the constraints and obstacles to the process of entrepreneurship education in the family at the oyster mushroom industry centers Sempu District, West Java. The type of research used to achieve this goal is a type of qualitative research with phenomenological methods. The results showed that the application of entrepreneurial values in some families has been carried out, as seen by some children who participated in helping their parents ' businesses. The conclusion of this research is the application of entrepreneurial values in some family's oyster mushroom centers in the district Sempu has been implemented, but although the application of entrepreneurial values in the family in this community has been implemented, the understanding of entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial values have not been fully understood

Abstract

There have been several studies discussing the novel Sali: The Story of a Dani Woman. These studies generally use sociological literature, feminist literary criticism, and gender perspectives. This paper comes with a different perspective, namely the ethnolinguistic approach. This paper describes the linguistic forms in the novel that represent the Dani culture and reveals the cultural meaning of the linguistic forms in the novel. The linguistic data is taken entirely from the novel and the meanings obtain apart from the novel are also from other sources as listed in the references. The results of data analysis show that linguistic forms indicating the Dani culture include the level of words, phrases, clauses, or sentences. Furthermore, the cultural meaning of language forms in terms of words indicating Dani culture, namely: (1) Abambuk which means tribal chief, Dani tribal leader. (2) Pig which means a dowry given to a girl or a widow to marry. (3) Hunting which means the dominant male activity to show his self-esteem. (4) Ebeai which means a house that a wife/woman, children and husband/men may enter to gather. (5) Fugima which means a place to end life/everything for a woman/wife who has given up on her fate. 6) Honai which means a traditional house located in silimo. (7) Koteka which means penis genital cover has many meanings. The variation indicates that the more varied the koteka, the higher the class of men who wear it. (8) Noken which means a replacement for the ballot box which means a form of appreciation for the cultural values and local wisdom of the Dani community. (9) Pilamo which means a place to limit women's movement. This was a house that only men could enter to ensure that they and the war equipment were free from the dirty blood of women. (10) Sali which means wife indexer. (11) Silimo which means a family residence consisting of honai, ebeai, and pilamo, the three of which are far from each other in a certain area. Furthermore, the linguistic forms in the form of phrases are (1) Chewing greedily which means eating food in an unethique way. (2) Tribal war which means the implementation of a war caused by a member of the Dani community was being killed. (3) Polygamous marriage which means the family of the prospective wife. (4) Cutting a child's finger which means a meaningful representation of emotional pain which is important for the process of grieving the death of the child's parents. It is a symbol of grief at the loss of a family member. (5) The cry of mourning which means that family members have to cry for a long time as hard as possible to mark the mourning of being left dead by a member of a communal system 6) Cremation, or the burning of a corpse which means an attempt to take the white ashes of the corpse. (7) Relative-exchange marriage which means marry to the wife's sister in order to get a replacement from the pig keeper, the caretaker of his children and himself. Finally, the forms of clauses/sentences indicating Dani culture are: (1) Keeping the younger sister away from her twin means avoiding bad things. The younger sister in the twins is believed to be the daughter of the devil, so she must be exiled, otherwise a disaster will come that will harm the family. (2) Leaving sali on the rocks in Fugima which means the owner has died as a form of surrendering to the problems of life that surrounds her so that in a very tragic way her life is ended.
