Abstract

Background: Menstruation is a normal process that happens from the puberty to menopause stage among healthy women. Healthy women get menstruation once in a month during the reproductive age. During the menstruation, women experience physical discomforts, such as pain. Dysmenorrhea is the common pain. A non-phramacology treatment were needed to reduce the pain and effleurage massage using rose aromatherapy is one of the method that can be used. Aim: The aim of this study was to determine the effectivity of effleurage massage using rose aromatherapy in reducing dysmenorrhea. Method: This study was a case study method and the sampling technique was a purposive sampling. The sample for this case study was a 16 year old female teenage patient who experienced dysmenorrhea and the scale was 6. The data collection in this study was using participatory observation methods, unstructured interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the analysis domain. Result: The results showed that effleurage massage therapy using rose aromatherapy oil could reduce dysmenorrhea from a scale of 6 to 2 within three days of intervention. Conclusion: Effleurage massage is useful for reducing hypoxia in tissues. Thus, there is an increasing level of oxygen in the tissue and could reduce the pain. On the other hands, rose aromatherapy has effect as a local analgesic and antispasmodic. Therefore, effleurage massage therapy using rose aromatherapy oil can be suggested to young women with dysmenorrhea.

Abstract

Background: High risk pregnancy causes some complications, one of them is death among pregnant women. Recently, the number of mother’s death was increasing. One of the causes is lack of knowledge among pregnant women. Aim: The aim of this study was to describe the level of knowledge of pregnant women in Puskesmas Cepogo related to high risk pregnancy. Method: This study was a descriptive study. The research population was 250 repondents. The sampling method was proportionate stratified random sampling and the sample of this study was 71 respondents. This study was using questionnaire to measure the variables. Univariate analysis was using in this study. Results: This study found that among pregnant women in The Puskesmas Cepogo, the majority (49 repondents/ 69.0%) had lower knowledge about high risk pregnancy. Most of the pregnant women was younger than 20 years and got basic education (SD/SMP). For the income, most of the pregnant women only got less than 1 million rupiah per month. Conclusion: In the Puskesmas Cepogo, the level of knowledge among pregnant women related to the high risk pregnancy was lower.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Diabetes mellitus merupakan penyakit yang memiliki resiko tinggi untuk terjadi komplikasi. Salah satu komplikasi yang mungkin terjadi adalah ulkus diabetikum. Ulkus diabetikum terjadi karena tingginya kadar gula darah yang berlangsung lama. Ulkus Diabetik merupakan kerusakan sebagian (partial thickness) atau keseluruhan (full thickness) pada kulit yang dapat meluas kej aringan d ibawah kulit, tendon, otot, tulang atau persendian. Untuk merawat luka maka diperlukan aplikasi pemberian PHMB GEL (Polihhexamethylene Biguanide Gel) pada penderita Diabetes Mellitus untuk mengatasi kerusakan integritas kulit. Tujuan: Studi ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektifitas pemberian PHMB Gel pada penderita Diabetes Mellitus dengan ulkus diabetik. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus dengan menggunakan metode sampling berupa purposive sampling. Sampel pada studi kasus ini adalah Ny.S usia 54 tahun yang mengalami ulkus Diabetes Mellitus denga luka terbuka dan luka infeksi. Data penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan metode observasi partisipatif, wawancara tidak terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Setelah ditabulasi data yang ada dianalisis dengan menggunakan domain analisis. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi PHMB Gel pada masalah kerusakan integritas kulit pada ulkus Diabetes mellitus yang dialami Ny.S menunjukkan adanya perbaikan jaringan luka. Hal ini ditandai dengan skor Bates Jensen Assessment Tool sebelum perawatan dengan PHMB Gel adalah 34 dan setelah perawatan sebanyak 12 kali turun menjadi 26. Kesimpulan: Aplikasi PHMB Gel dapat diterapkan pada ulkus Diabetes Mellitus sehingga dapat mengatasi masalah kerusakan integritas kulit.

Abstract

Background : Nurse uses some nursing care models during nursing process based on hospital policy. One of the models is team-base care. However, this model has some disadvantages and can lead work-related stress among nurses. When the work-related stress is out of control, it can cause decreasing in quality of nursing care. Objective : The aim of this study was to determine relationship between profesional team nursing care method and work-related stress among nursing in RSUD Muntilan in year 2020. Methods : This study was used a descriptive cross-sectional study design. Sample in this study was 128 participants using total sampling. To measure the variables, this study was used profesional team nursing care method questionnaire and nursing work stress questionnaire. The Spearmen-Rank test was used in this study for the bivariate analysis. Results : This study found that there was a relationship between between profesional team nursing care method and work-related stress among nursing in RSUD Muntilan (p-value 0.001; r -0.384). In this study, when nurses implemented profesional team nursing care method, nurses would have less work-related stress. Conclusion : Nurses and other health care providers can recognize related factors of work-related stress among nurses in hospital. Thus, the evaluation process related to nurse’s works should be considered the type of nursing care method that used in ward.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Diabetes Melitus adalah penyakit gangguan metabolik menahun akibat pankreas tidak memproduksi cukup insulin atau tubuh tidak dapat menggunakan insulin yang diproduksi secara efektif. Faktor resiko dari Diabetes Melitus adalah pola makan, obesitas, faktor genetik, jenis kelamin, riwayat merokok. Komplikasi Diabetes Melitus yaitu kerusakan otak, retinopati, neuropati, nefropati, gagal ginjal,gagal jantung, luka kronis. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kejadian luka adalah aktivitas fisik, dukungan keluarga, sosial ekonomi, prolanis, usia, lama sakit. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan lama sakit dengan kejadian luka pada penderita Diabetes Melitus di Kabupaten Magelang. Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah croos sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 6.483 responden. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu sebanyak 120 responden dengan menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Lama sakit dan kejadian luka diukur menggunakan kuesioner. Uji statistik yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah uji Spearman-Rank. Hasil: Terdapat hubungan antara lama sakit dengan kejadian luka pada penderita Diabetes Melitus di Kabupaten Magelang (p < 0,05; r = 0,331). Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan lama sakit dengan kejadian luka pada penderita Diabetes Melitus di Kabupaten Magelang.

Abstract

New santri (student) at pondok pesantren (Islamic boarding school) usually those who enter the stage of adolescent development as it is known at the age of adolescence is a period of transition and major changes occur both physically, psychologically and relationships in the social environment. Santri are just starting to learn to adapt to a new environment, new atmosphere and of course all will have foreign feelings with changes in physical, psychological, social and cultural conditions. The adjustment of new santri is very much needed so that they can follow the culture and rules of the school. The inability to adapt can lead to various unwanted social problems, such as conflict or disruption of communication relationships. This can cause individuals to face difficulties and frustrations so that individuals was far from feeling happy, comfortable and safe in the environment where they live. New santri who experience psychological problems must immediately receive appropriate treatment so as to prevent unwanted physical and mental health problems such as depression, impaired self-concept and other physical problems. Based on the description above, the aim of the research was to find out the psychological condition of the new santri while living in the school. This study used a survey to obtain the data of the psychological condition of the new santri. The research was conducted in male and female dormitories. The sample in this study were all new santri living in the dormitory. The sampling technique used was the total sample method. In this study, the instrument used by using a questionnaire consists of 14 questions related to the psychological condition of the new santri. The results of the study showed that many students who did not feel comfortable living in the dormitory, on average they experienced anxiety disorders and stress about their new environment.

Abstract

Background:: Hypertension is a condition in which a person experiences an increase in blood pressure above normal which results in increased morbidity and mortality. Blood pressure that is still considered normal is less than 150/90 mmHg, whereas if it is more than 160/90 mmHg it is considered hypertension in the elderly. Efforts are made to lower blood pressure using gotu kola leaf decoction. Destination: To determine the effect of gotu kola leaf decoction on lowering blood pressure. Method: This type of research is Quasi Experiment using two group pretest and posttest design with control group design with a sample of 44 respondents. The data were processed using the Wilcoxon test and the Mann Whitney test. The Result: Based on the Mann Whitney test on blood pressure, the Asym Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 where the p value <0.05, which means that. Conclusion: It was concluded that there was an effect of gotu kola leaf decoction on the decrease in blood pressure in the elderly in Tersan Gede Village, Salam District, Magelang Regency.

Abstract

WHO has officially declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. Islamic boarding schools are one of the arrangements that need to be implemented to prevent the spread of Covid-19. There are 9,369 students at the Darul 'Ulum Jombang Islamic Boarding School that have the potential to spread Covid-19 infections. Efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 were carried out by implementing 3M in accordance with the appeal of the government task force. The purpose of the study was to find out the phenomenon of the application of 3M (Washing hands, wearing masks and maintaining distance) of students at the Darul 'Ulum Islamic Boarding School Jombang. The research design used is qualitative research with descriptive phenomenological methods. The social situation is all students of the XV Al-Falah dormitory and the IV I Ainusyams dormitory. The participants were 6 students using purposive sampling technique. researchers as an instrument using interview guidelines, data collection using in-depth interview techniques. Data analysis using the Colaizzi method. The results of the study obtained 5 themes 1) Knowledge level 2) Breaking the rules 3) Confidence 4) Support from hostel caregivers and 5) Obeying the rules. Santri can implement 3M because they have knowledge, there is support from hostel caregivers who provide facilities and infrastructure, strict regulations and supervision make students have self-awareness. The reason students don't do 3M is because they are influenced by friends, the belief that not doing 3M makes them sick and the belief that doing 3M or not can make you sick if God wills.

Abstract

Latar belakang : Angka anemia kehamilan di Indonesia menunjukkan nilai yang cukup tinggi, berdasarkan hasil riskesdas 2018, proporsi bumil anemia di Indonesia mencapai 48,9%. Anemia pada ibu hamil jika tidak diatasi akan mengakibatkan Intra Uterine Growth Retardation (IUGR), lahir prematur, Berat Bayi Lahir Rendah (BBLR), peningkatan risiko kematian neonatus, sesak nafas pada ibu, meningkatkan risiko pendarahan saat persalinan, preeklamsia dan sepsis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui predisposisi anemia ibu hamil di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tempuran tahun 2018. Metode penelitian: penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan case control dimana 22 responden sebagai kelompok kasus dan 22 responden sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data diolah dengan uji statistik chi square untuk menganalisis hubungan antara variable dependen (kejadian anemia ibu hamil) dan variabel independen yang meliputi umur, paritas, KEK, infeksi dan penyakit, jarak kehamilan, tingkat pendidikan, konsumsi tablet Fe. Hasil penelitian: uji chi square menunjukan bahwa variabel yang berhubungan dengan kejadian anemia ibu hamil yaitu paritas (p value = 0,03), status KEK (p value = 0,01), dan jarak kehamilan (p value = 0,03) sedangkan variabel yang tidak berhubungan dengan kejadian anemia ibu hamil yaitu umur (p value = 0,05), ), infeksi dan penyakit ( p value = 0,12), pendidikan ( p value = 0,76), konsumsi tabel Fe ( p value = 0,64). Kesimpulan: faktor predisposisi anemia ibu hamil di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tempuran tahun 2018 adalah paritas, KEK dan jarak kehamilan. Disarankan untuk: KIE bagi pasangan yang akan menikah tentang gizi dan program KB.

Abstract

Latar belakang :Diabetes Mellitus merupakan penyakit yang sering dikenal dengan kencing manis, yaitu kadar gula dalam darah yang tidak mampu diproses oleh pankreas shingga tidak mampu menghasilkan insulin sesuai kebutuhan tubuh. Diabetes Mellitus memmiliki dua tipe yaitu tipe satu dan tipe dua. Diabetes tipe satu atau IDDM (Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus) terjadi karena adanya gangguan pada produksi insulin. Diabetes Mellitus tipe dua yaitu hrmoon yang tidak dapat berfungsi dengan baik didalam tubuh dan menimbulkan adanya luka ulkus Diabetes Mellitus. Untuk mengatasinya maka perlu dilakukan terapi nonfarmakologi. Salah satunya dengan aplikasi perawatan luka dengan menggunakan minyak zaitun. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengaaplikasikan perawatan luka dengan menggunakan minyak zaitun pada ulkus Diabetes Mellitus. Metode : Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus atau puposive sampling. Sample yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah seorang dengan masalah ulkus Diabetes Mellitus dengan skor hasil 32. Data penelitian ini diambil dengan mengunakan metode observasi partisipatif, wawancara tidak struktur, dan dokumentasi. Setelah ditabulasi data yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan domain analisis. Hasil : hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa aplikasi perawatan luka dengan menggunakan minyak zaitun dapat mempercepat perubahan perbaikan pada ukuran luka , jumlah eksudate, warna disekitar luka, jaringan granulasi dan epitalisasi. Kesimpulan: Minyak zaitun dapat digunakan untuk perawatan luka dapat mempercepat perubahan perbaikan pada ukuran luka, jumlah eksudate, warna disekitar luka, jaringan granulasi dan epitalisasi. Saran: Oleh karena itu minyak zaitun dapat diaplikasikan pada pasien dengan ulkus diabetes Mellitus tipe 2.
