Abstract

The maternal mortality rate in Indonesia reached 305 / 100,000 live births; it is associated with a lower ANC visit. The promotion of health has a positive effect on increasing the ANC, which can be done with WhatsApp group (WAG). This study aimed on improving knowledge through health promotion with WhatsApp group at the health centres of Yogyakarta. This study was Quasi-experimental design using pre-test post-test non-equivalent control group design. Samples numbered 62; the sampling technique used consecutive sampling. The samples were divided into two groups namely intervention and control groups. The survey result showed that the highest frequency distribution was from the group that receivedon schedule health promotion as many as 17 (27,4) respondents, and those were not on schedule 15 (24,2%) of respondents. The interventionsgroup with 36.68 Mean Rank was higher than the control group 26.32. In addition, the Z-count value obtained by -2.365 and p-value of 0.018 meaning that the correlation was significant. In, conclusion, the group that received the intervention had higher rate of ante natal visit compared to the control group, and there is a significant difference between the visits in the intervention group and the control.

Abstract

Primiparous mother's breastfeeding practice in developed and developing countries is influenced by various factors, such as sociodemographic, socio-cultural and health factors. Primiparous mother's experience of stopping breastfeeding is related to the mother's lack of knowledge about breastfeeding, breastfeeding skills, and the initial painful experience of breastfeeding. The objective of the scoping review is to review the evidence of the factors that influence exclusive breastfeeding in primiparous mothers. This scoping review used the Arksey and O'Malley framework. Identification of relevant studies from 2009-2019 used 5 databases. Data based are PubMed, Sciendirect, Ebsco, Wiley and Proquest. The results of this scoping review consisted of 8 articles out of 421 articles and were rated. Found 2 themes, which were internal factors and external factors. The most influential internal factor is the psychological factor of primiparous mothers, when the mother feels stressed, the mother can decide to stop breastfeeding and switch to giving formula milk to her baby and external factor is socio-cultural. There are still many countries that adhere to socio-cultural practices that can hinder the process of exclusive breastfeeding.

Cervical cancer in its early stages rarely cause complaints and when women consult a medical 70% are at an advanced stage that it is difficult to cure. Cervical cancer is caused due to infection of human papillomavirus (HPV) and exacerbated by several risk factors including age and parity. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of age and parity with the incidence of pre-cancerous lesions of the cervix. This is a case- control study comparing cases and controls in each variable. The sample used in this study using a ratio of 1: 1 in 310 people in the control group and 310 as cases of people taken at random by means of the control group and the total sample in the case group. Data collection tools used books patient reports and statistical tests using Chi_Square. The results in this study found an increased risk for 2,049 times in women aged ≥ 35 years and 2,046 fold increased risk in women who have children ≥ 3 with the incidence of pre-cancerous lesions of the cervix. So there is a significant relationship between age and parity with the incidence of pre- cancerous lesions of the cervix. Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world, has nearly one million mosques, is used for daily and Friday collective prayers, and is thought to be at high risk of being infected with Covid-19. The essence of the problem is that the five daily prayers and Friday prayers once a week have become controversial, physical crowds are at risk of Covid-19. The theory of 'Experiential education' by John Dewey is used to explain social interactions in mosques between imams and makmum, ustadz and people, Muslim leaders and citizens. They exchanged experiences in dealing with Covid-19.. This study aims to explain the role of mosques in increasing knowledge, attitudes, and skills in preventing and overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this study uses a phenomenological approach.. The results of this study can be concluded that first, Friday prayers at the mosque are closed for two weeks. Second, there are three groups of crowds that occur in the mosque environment with different transmission risks between mosques. Third, the protocol  went well because of the results of the education of religious leaders and community leaders. Fourth, ablution is relevant to 3M to prevent the Covid-19. Fifth, the cohesiveness of mosque leaders and the Covid-19 cluster is a lesson for the community at the mosque and in the market. The knowledge and experience of Muslim residents following ustadz and khotib ensures the sustainability of 3M implementation in every village.

Abstract

There are about 2.8 million incident of perineal rupture in maternal physiological labor. In 2050,it is estimated that the incidence of perineal rupture can be 6.3 million if it is not accompanied by a good midwifery care. In 2016, in Trawas, there was (89%) perineal rupture in primiparas and (57%) perineal rupture in multiparas. Perineal rupture incidences due to parity were still very high. This study aims to analyze the relationship between parity and the incidence of perineal rupture . It is quantitative studyusing a cross sectional approach, by using analysis of physiological maternity women  medical record data from January to April 2017 of 130 peoplein Trawas Public Health Center, Mojokerto Regency. The dataanalysis used was Chi - Square , indicated by p value = 0,000 with ɑ = 0,05. It means that the value of p ɑ, so H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between parity and the incidence of perineal rupture on physiological maternity women in Trawas Public Health Center,Mojokerto Regency. Midwives can apply collaboration with patients and their families to have physical and psychologicalpreparation with an alternative of hypnobirthing methods.
