Abstract

This research investigates how the Marketing Mix and Destination Image impact Revisit Intention at Shelter Galunggung, mediated by eWOM (electronic Word of Mouth) and Customer Satisfaction. Data from 385 respondents were gathered via a Google Form questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics such as mean, median, mode, percentile, decile, and quartile. The study employs a combined descriptive and causal analysis approach to elucidate the interrelationships among variables and their effects on research outcomes. Utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS), the research addresses the complex relationships and non-normal data distributions typical in survey-based studies. Shelter Galunggung, situated in the wilderness beneath Indonesia's Mount Galunggung, is renowned for its natural ambiance, depicted in its iconic logo that highlights the unique environment and appeal to visitors. By employing an objective and quantifiable approach, this study aims to provide a precise understanding of the factors influencing Revisit Intention in the tourism industry, specifically at Shelter Galunggung. The anticipated findings are poised to contribute significant insights into the drivers behind customers' decisions to revisit destinations. This research holds potential to offer actionable recommendations for marketers and business owners within the tourism sector, facilitating strategic improvements in customer satisfaction and retention strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the performance of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) using the Maqashid Syariah Index for the period 2021-2023. The findings reveal a significant decline in the index, from 6.91 in 2021 to 4.11 in 2023, highlighting the need for improvements in educating individuals, promoting justice, and preserving public welfare. While educational grant ratios have improved, the quality of training programs requires enhancement. In the justice aspect, a decline in equitable transactions underscores the necessity for policy evaluations to ensure transparency and compliance with Sharia principles. Furthermore, although profitability has increased, investments in vital sectors have decreased, necessitating more robust investment strategies. The implications of this study include strengthening CSR programs, enhancing transparency in Sharia reporting, improving financial literacy, and developing Sharia-aligned business strategies. This research contributes to the Maqashid Syariah literature and serves as a performance evaluation framework to enhance customer trust and societal welfare. Future studies should consider external factors and develop holistic theoretical models.

Abstract

Airline industries are one of the fastest growing industries in the world. Since the coming of online marketing, it has become one of the important media where airlines ticket is bought and sold. Estimated 60% of Nigerian travellers choose to purchase their Ethiopian Airlines ticket over the counter, where hardcopy paper tickets will be printed out for them. Hence, they do not perceive the usefulness of adopting e-ticketing provided by Ethiopian Airlines. Therefore, this study examined the mediating effect of internet knowledge on the relationship between perceived usefulness and e-ticketing adoption of Ethiopian Airlines in Nigeria. The data were collected through self-administered questionnaires using a random sampling technique from 360 Ethiopian Airlines customers in Nigeria. The questionnaire comprised of four sections measuring internet knowledge, perceived usefulness, and e-ticketing adoption. The last part of the questionnaire captured the respondents’ profiles. The proposed model and research hypotheses were tested using Path Analysis in Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The findings of the study supported the four proposed hypotheses. In addition, the study discovered that internet knowledge partially mediates the relationship between perceived usefulness and e-ticketing adoption of Ethiopian Airlines in Nigeria. The result of this study contributed theoretically by providing some modifications and new measures for e-ticketing adoption, internet knowledge, and perceived usefulness. The findings also make contributions theoretically by suggesting the use of SEM this could be preserved as the new framework for linking perceived usefulness, internet knowledge, and e-ticketing adoption. These findings may help the passengers of Ethiopian Airlines in Nigeria understand the benefit of adopting Ethiopian Airlines e-ticketing and how the adoption brings ease of life to their daily activities. Since this study also highlights the factors that drive e-ticketing uptake, it will enable the stakeholders to create customized services that fit customers' requirements and aspirations. As a result, Ethiopian Airlines executives should consider the practical implications of these latent characteristics, which are critical in helping Nigeria's economy thrive and improve service quality.
