Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang is a state hospital has done it is job and function, but in 3rd class of pavilion room, the number of patient decrease dramatically. It is concerned with quality of this hospital. To answer this problem, research was done using Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Quality Function Deployment is a tool which design some needs include customers represented as a voice of customer and including some competitions and also groups some activities that usually called affinity graphic ang getting a benchmarking for it is competition. From the result analysis can be showed that main attribute for patience is a accuracy. And from House Of Quality can be found that getting a periodic meeting to evaluate this hospital and also increase a service can be made 20 concept

Abstract

Corporate world and businessmen face the open challenge since free market of ASEAN 2003 and free market of ASIA 2020 take-place. It claim corporate world and businessmen to improving their competitiveness in order to become best and strongest. Since Indonesia faced multidimensi crisis in 1997, the economics of Indonesia is not convalesce fully. The most impact felt is workers retired, especially at big scale company, but it didn't happen at small scale company because small industry has important role to take care of growth dynamics and extension of society economics. The target of this research were: 1) To know any kind of variables that induce the development of small industry of traditional cloth weave in Raba Dompu Sub-Province of Bima, and (2) To know which variable that giving biggest influence to development of it. This Research is a survey research and use Quisioner. Goals population in this research is all entrepreneur weave traditional cloth in Raba Dompu Sub-Province of Bima. It counted 96 people. There 9 variables in this research, that are: independent variable (free variable) include: raw material (X1), labour (X2), machine (X3), capital (X4), product (X5). price (X6), distribution channel (X7), promotion (X8) and emulation intensity (X9). While dependent variable (Y) is industry development. Result of Test Validity and Reliabilitas indicated that all variable (27 variables) is valid and reliable. They can become an input for factor analysis. From these factor, writer get 9 new variable (factor), they were: 1) economic Age of machine, 2) weave cloth brand, 3) employees office hours, 4) amenity market cloth, 5) time for processing raw material, 6) mount emulation of price with competitor, 7) amenity get working capital, 8) duration acceptance of raw material and 9) yielded weave product. Base to the Doubled Linear regression Analysis, we can know that ninth of the factor have an effect to development of small industry of cloth weave of tradisioanl in Raba Dompu Sub-Province of Bima. And level of influence of these factors are equal to 75,4%, while the rest (24,6%) is explained by other factor which do not packed into the model.

Abstract

Employee performance assessment is an essential aspect of a company. This study aims to assess employee performance based on Analytical Network Process (ANP)  and rating scale. ANP was employed to determine the importance of the criteria. Meanwhile,  the rating scale was used to analyze the results of the employee performance assessment. The results of the study showed the weights of the criteria. The highest to lowest weights in sequence included the skills to carry out tasks, job performance, ability to cooperate, employment relationship, and personality. Based on the assessment of fifty-three employees of HRD and Corporate Secretary and General Counsel Department, one employee showed outstanding performance, four employees exemplified high performance, forty-five employees met the standard performance, and three employees had low performance.

Abstract

Submerged Arc Welding is a welding process used for  fabrication of pipes, for example spiral welded pipes. The technique can be operated automatically and has a high reliability in many various welding aplication. Some factor affecting the strength of weld metals are heat input, current, chemical composition of filler and flux, welding speed and cooling rate. The purpose of this thes is is to obtaine microstructure containing acicular ferrite which give high strength and low hardness of the submerged arc welded pipes.Material used in this experiment was API 5L X-52 spiral welded steel pipes, Welding was carried out using voltage of 35 volt, welding speed of 13,67 mm/s whereas heat input was varied, namely 2,059 kJ/mm, 2,123 kJ/ mm, 2,187 kJ/mm, 2,252 kJ/mm and 2,316 kJ/mm. A series of mechanical  properties test were carried out including hardness and tensile test. The result show that, an increase in weld heat input make increased the tensile strength but the hardness number  decrease.

Abstract

PT Abadi Adimulia is a company that work in plastic container production. The job arrival is static and the difference of processing time between the main process and the other process is very long. Until now the company use the First Come First Serve (FCFS) method to schedule their production activities, but with this method often the company finish their job over the due. The objective of this research was to obtain the production scheduling that give the minimum value in maximum lateness, makespan, number of late job, and the average tardiness on the blow mouldings machine. The production scheduling method that used in this research were Longest Processing Time method (LPT), Shortest Processing Time method (SPT), and Earliest Due Date method (EDD). The result from the scheduling using the three method indicate that LPT method is the best method to apply in this case which reduce the maximum lateness for 112.27 hours, makespan for 101.93 hours, number of late job for two jobs, and the average tardiness for 4.67 hours/job on June, maximum lateness for 60.07 hours, makespan for 123.19 hours, number of late job for one jobs, and the average tardiness for 2.5 hours/job on June, and maximum lateness for 53.42 hours, makespan for 38.1 hours, number of late job for one jobs, and the average tardiness for 2.05 hours/job on June.

Abstract

 PT XYZ is one of the company which refers to furniture industries sector. The problem which faced by this company is unbalance of the production line which is caused by the unequal of work responsibility distribution in each work station. This problem caused the performance of line balance doesn’t work properly. To solve this problem we need to do the line balancing of production line. It can be done by line balancing methode that assigns a number of work which is related in one production line until each work station has efficient time which is not more than the cycle time of the work station. Line balancing methode that used is heuristic methode which is devided into ranked positional weight methode, large candidate rule methode, and region approach methode. From those three heuristic methode that used as solution of line balancing, there was improvement happenned with the same value in doors of production line. Line efficiency increased into 94,07% from 62,71% at the beginning condition. Balance delay increased into 5,92% from 37,28% at the beginning condition. The idle time descreased into 12,39 minutes from 116,87 minutes at the beginning condition. The smoothness index descreased into 7,44 from 64,67 at the beginning condition.

Abstract

"UD.  Dominico", Pasuruan forms the enterprise of furniture sector.  But, the condition of design and facility of spring bed, type of romano cannot give satisfaction enough to the customer, especially the design and facility.  In  this case, there are some complaints  from the customer,  so volume of spring bed sale decreased. The problem took how to make a planning of design and facility of spring bed, especially type of"Romano".The application of Value Engineering  is the way to solve a problem above with terms that have determined or recomanded.

Abstract

Almost most of company operates based on request (order). The aim of company in industry world is get to complete the customer needs that are the high quality of goods, cheap goods price or finish and delivery product on time. To realize the mention the company must compose production planning hooked on scheduling of production. The scheduling in problems right now, there are excessively long delivery times and the large of total idle time. The Problems cause the height of production cost in company. To overcome the mention will conduct an approach of method that able to give job schedule more precise. The methods are Algorithm Heuristic Dispatching Rule Last Come First Serve, Algorithm Heuristic Dispatching Rule Shortest Processing Time, Algorithm Heuristic Dispatching Rule Longest Processing Time, Algorithm Heuristic Dispatching Rule Earliest Due Date, Algorithm Heuristic Dispatching Rule Slack Time, which one of the method will choose with criteria like minimize makespan, mean tardiness and total of idle time. So is obtained result of new method which give minimize of the criteria is Algorithm Heuristic Dispatching Rule Last Come First Serve for September 2007. With this method company can economize process time (makespan) 2 hours, mean tardiness 3,13 hours and total of idle time 26 hours. For October 2007 obtained new method which give minimize of the criteria is Algorithm Heuristic Dispatching Rule Longest Processing Time. With this method company can economize process time (makespan) 1,5 hours and total of idle time 19,5 hours.

Abstract

MPLS is a work plan that was given by IETF to repair work performance of IP network. Label switching label using forwarding mechanism which has connection oriented characteristic make this technology become routing technology for future guarantec QoS with better service level. This is supporting using a protocol signals for TE-MPLS to maximize network performance balancing the network stressing with distribution that fixed on classes, queuing, and traffic schedule. This research is an analysis of TE-MPLS mechanism to design MPLS network with RSVP-TE daemon that is called emulator MPLS. This analysis used generating 2 different kinds of protocol traffic, UDP, and TCP. The measurement could be concluded that there was an efficiency of MPLS network in group joint of protocol UDP network about 18,6% for channel that is similar with traffic 2 KBRS, 3,4%, 1,5%, and 5,6% for channel similar with traffic 4,8 and 16 KBRS for flow variation of MPLS network data increase 464,2%, 479,5%, 518%, and 2638,5% for each channel. The time that was needed for TCP protocol transmition of MPLS network showed efficiency 2,9% and bit rate of MPLS increase about 0,66%.

Abstract

Drilling system on a pile of waste to get the methane gas is very difficult because the majority of waste that is made from plastic so it can get caught in the drill. Manual excavationis not allowed because it is very dangerous, while digging with heavy equipment has not been able to do because it requires a special tool that is able to push and pull waste surface. Makingholes with arrow system method that is larger arrowhead from the arrow shaft, is one alternative that can be tried to get a hole / gas extraction wells at the Landfill Supit Urang - Malang.Results hole larger than the arrow shaft is then filled with gravels as well extration methane in the landfill. The force required pile (arrow system) to the pole with pole diameter 26.7 cm and a maximum depth of 5.20 m (at point 1, the arrows point of 30Ëš and 45Ëš) is a row of 63,087 kg and 79,717 kg . Optimum angle in terms of penetration force needs is the pole with arrowhead angle 30Ëš.

Abstract

This  research  has  aim to plan  Kanban  Control  Card  (KCC)  in production   rate  controlling some  products  as:  Office  Table  (MTK),   Tower  Chest  Four  Flours  (TC-4),Tower    Chest  Six Flours (TC-6),   Simple Table  (MD).In this  research  we  need  data  such as  :   production   demand  data  history, production   lead time,   demand   forecasting   and  production   data  base  from demand  history   (  25  weekly  periodic), then  forecast   demand  in periodic  26 tli   using  Time  series  method  with  Trend  Analysis   in  a second periodic.Using  MRP  logic,  forecasting   result  account  to  result  Planed  Order  Release (PORs)  for each work  station.  From  the data analysis  can be found  :      the number  ofKanban    Card in each work station  of  production   devision    and the  second  is  less  maximum   inventory   value  than    inventory value using  MRP,  so TIT is  proved  not efective  in a fluctuative   production  rate.
