Abstract

The identification of Business Administration graduates absorption is one of the types of policy research that leads to the process of finding data and facts about the phenomenon of the absorption that most of graduates that are not maximized in accordance with their scientific fields with several phenomena lead to it. Based on the results of tracer studies of alumni majoring at Business Administration department in 2019 who have worked in various types of industries in East Kalimantan have shown a pretty good compared to the several years before were about 74% of alumni absorbed in various industry sectors and the rest worked in government agencies and entrepreneurship reaches (10%). The determine of the level of uptake the graduates in industry in accordance with the field of science, is largely determined by the availability of resources and have competencies  that are in accordance with the level of skill requirements of each job related to administration and offices.

Abstract

The policy of developing MSMEs and small industries has long been a concern of the Indonesian government. Various problems in empowering MSMEs are the low capacity of human resources, limited control and ownership of production assets, especially capital, concentration of work resources that are engaged in hereditary businesses, and low mastery of production process technology and marketing information. This study aims to identify MSMEs and formulate strategies for empowering MSMEs in Bengalon District in East Kutai Regency. Data collection techniques were carried out by, among others, using the method Rapid District Appraisal (RDA) that included a literature study (documentation) in the form of a Bengalon sub-district profile, village profiles in East Kutai Regency in recent years, field studies and observations/surveys/observations. A participatory approach to obtain data/information and assessment general in the field. The results showed that 1) Administrative and Institutional Aspects, there are 6 (six) MSMEs that fall into the important and urgent categories; 2 (two) MSMEs that are categorized as not important but urgent and 2 (two) MSMEs that are facing important but not urgent institutional problems; 2) Aspects of Production, there are 7 (seven) MSMEs that fall into the important and urgent category and 3 (three) MSMEs that face important but not urgent institutional problems; 3) Aspects of the Scope of Marketing, there are 2 (two) MSMEs that fall into the important and urgent category and 8 (eight) MSMEs that face important but not urgent marketing problems; 4) Aspect of Capital, there are 2 (two) MSMEs which are categorized as important and urgent and 6 (six) MSMEs that face important but not urgent capital problems, and 2 (two) MSMEs which are categorized as urgent but not important; 5) Aspects of Assistance, there are 2 (two) MSMEs that fall into the important and urgent category and 6 (six) MSMEs that need important but not urgent assistance, and 2 (two) MSMEs that fall into the urgent but not important category; and 6) Promotion Aspect, there is 1 (one) MSME which is categorized as important and urgent and 9 (nine) MSME which is categorized as important but not urgent.

Abstract

This study discusses retail, consumer behavior in shopping and explanations of variable purchase decisions on Indomaret visitors in Samarinda city along with variables that affect hedonic value variables, service quality, price tags, and experience, word of mouth  and purchase intention. Discusses some of the theories used as a reference to assist this research, as well as theories relevant to the objects and variables studied, namely marketing theory, service marketing theory, retail marketing theory, understanding of marketing mix and understanding consumer behavior. Then explain the definition of each variable used in this study. The analysis technique used in this study is to use SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) with the help of AMOS (Analysis Moment of Structure) software. The characteristics of the respondents in this study, the test results using AMOS software, obtained a fit and significant relationship between each variable, there is also a direct effect, an indirect effect, and a total effect.

Abstract

Employee performance is very important in supporting the progress of the company. Performance is one of the important things for the company because it is related to the activities carried out. Good performance and focus can provide good profits for the company and employees. This research was conducted to determine the effect of job training and work discipline at PT PLN (Persero) UPDK Mahakam. The population involved in this study were employees of PT PLN (Persero) UPDK Mahakam who attended the training with a total of 40 respondents. This research is a quantitative research. The analytical tool used is the SPSS version 17 application. The independent variable (variable X) of this study is job training and work discipline, while the dependent variable (variable Y) is employee performance. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Job training has no significant effect on employee performance. (2) Work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The Influences of Financial Compensation and  Non-Financial Compensation on Working Satisfaction and Working Performance in PT. Cindara Pratama Lines Balikpapan.  The purpose of this research is to identify the influences of Financial Compensation and  Non-Financial Compensation on Working Satisfaction and Working Performance in PT. Cindara Pratama Lines Balikpapan. The respondents of this research are 50 employees of PT. Cindara Pratama Lines Balikpapan. All of the questioners collected are examined to ensure all the items are valid and reliable. Path Analysis instrument been used for analyzing the research. Smart PLS and SPSS Software would be used for examining the path coefficient. The result of this research are : 1. Financial Compensation (X1) has a significant effect on Working Satisfaction (Y1), 2. Financial Compensation (X2) has a significant effect on Working Performance (Y2), 3. Non-Financial Compensation (X2) has a significant on Working Satisfaction (Y1),  4. Non-Financial Compensation (X2) has a significant effect on Working Performance (Y2), and 5. Working Satisfaction (Y1) has a significant effect on Working Performance (Y2) in PT. Cindara Pratama Lines Balikpapan

Abstract

The Effect of Job Training and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at PT PLN (Persero) UPDK Mahakam, This research was conducted to determine the effect of job training and work discipline at PT PLN (Persero) UPDK Mahakam. The population involved in this study were employees of PT PLN (Persero) UPDK Mahakamwho attended training with a total of 40 respondents. This research is quantitative research. The analytical tool used is using the SPSS version 17 application. For the independent variable (variabel X) of this study is job training and work discipline, while for the dependent variable (variable Y) is employee performance.

Abstract

Well-known typing skill is the 10 finger system typing method. The 10-finger typing method adheres to two principles, namely the ten-finger method and the blind system. The ten-finger blind typing skill is a learning result in the form of a pattern of entering text or numbers using a tool by pressing the keys or keys on the keyboard or keyboard, where the ten fingers work according to their respective duties with their eyes not looking at the keyboard but look at the script to be typed. The research method was carried out using the cosineger system. The measurement scale of respondents' answers used a Likert scale that ranged from 1 to 5. The results of the analysis of students majoring in Business Administration, Business Administration study program in the fourth semester of the 2019/2020 academic year, Samarinda State Polytechnic in the Keyboard Skill 2 course, totaling 122 (one hundred and twenty two) students from 5 (five) classes. The results obtained indicate that the typing master program is one of the blind system ten finger typing programs that is effective for students and easy to use, besides that it can train the typing speed of fourth semester students of the D3 Business Administration study program. The typing master program can also motivate students to improve their speed and accuracy in typing the ten-finger blind system.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant effect between product quality on the loyalty of Xiaomi mobile users in Samarinda. The population in this study were Xiaomi mobile phone users in Samarinda. With the specified number of respondents as many as 50 respondents. The sampling technique used is Accidental Sampling. The test in this study uses the SPSS version 24 program tool. The analysis and hypothesis testing tools used are validity test, reliability test, normality test, simple linear regression test, partial test (T) and coefficient of determination test (R2). From the results of the study, it shows that product quality has a significant effect on the loyalty of Xiaomi mobile users in Samarinda. The results of the study for product quality on user loyalty partially or t test obtained t count, which means t count (6.446 > 1.677) with a significance level (0.000 < 0.05). So the hypothesis that states can be accepted. The influence of the coefficient of determination (R2) product quality has an effect on the loyalty of Xiomi cellphone users in Samarinda. It can be seen from R = 0.681, meaning that there is a strong relationship, while R Square is 0.464 which means 46.4% this shows that the independent variable (product quality) can affect the dependent variable (user loyalty), while the rest can be explained by the variables other variables not examined in this research. So the hypothesis that the coefficient of product quality determination has a positive effect on user loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of price and promotion on Warunk Upnormal Samarinda. This research is categorized as survey research, where the instrument is a questionnaire. The sample in this study amounted to 100 people. The data analysis method was performed using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 17.0 for windows. The results of this study indicate that partially price and promotion have a significant effect on purchase intention as well as simultaneously a significant effect on purchase intention at Warunk Upnormal. And from these three variables, it is known that promotion (X2) has a dominant effect compared to price (X1) on buying interest, this can be seen from the tcount where the tcount value for the promotion variable (X2) is 0.348 greater than the variable (X1) is 0.224 .

Abstract

Duties and Responsibilities of the Secretary in Carrying Out His Duties at the Office of the Public Works Department of Spatial Planning and Public Housing in East Kalimantan Province. This study aims to find out how the duties of a secretary in carrying out their duties in the office. In general, Business Administration is a major that studies everything about the operational activities of a company or business. The company's own operational activities include marketing, HR, secretarial, financial management, production and so on. For example, a secretary who works at the Office of Public Works, Spatial Planning and Public Housing in East Kalimantan Province, carries out the tasks assigned by the Head of the Service in accordance with his/her field of work. The Secretariat consists of the General Sub-Section, the Finance Sub- Section and the Planning Sub-Section. Each Sub Division is led by a Head of Sub Division who in carrying out his duties is under and responsible to the secretary. The author's purpose in taking the title of this Final Project is to find out how the performance process of a secretary at the Office of the DPUPR & PERA Prov. East Kalimantan. The Head of the Planning Sub-Section has the main task of leading the implementation of tasks in the Planning Section, Developing Programs, preparing materials for the preparation of technical policies in the field of transportation planning, informatics and communication as well as reports in the field of program planning.
