The impact is that thesis work is delayed, and students complain on social media about the difficulties they are experiencing. All problems or demands faced by students require good preparedness and adjustment, so students need to have good preparation including coping with stress. This study was conducted to examine the relationship between stress levels and the intensity of using social media as a coping medium for 2018 students who are undergoing thesis at the Andalas University Medical Education Study Program. This study is a descriptive analytic study using 79 students who met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. Data analysis using statistical tests, namely the Pearson Chi Square test. The test results obtained, there is a significant relationship between stress levels and the intensity of social media use with a p-value of 0.020 < 0.05 (p > 0.05). Maternal mortality is one of the unresolved health problems in the world. Obstetric complications directly in maternal mortality (pregnancy complications, childbirth, and the puerperium). This study aims to analyze the relationship between the determinants of maternal mortality due to obstetric complications. This type of research is an observational analytic study with a case-control design. In this study, there were 48 case samples and 144 control samples with a ratio of 1:3. The data obtained in the form of patient medical record data. Data analysised by univariate, bivariate and multivariate. The results showed that the most common cause of maternal death was preeclampsia/eclampsia. Risk factors that have a significant relationship with maternal mortality due to obstetric complications are anemia status (OR: 2.111; CI: 1.053-4.233; p: 0.035), history of maternal disease (OR: 2.514; CI: 1.260-5.015; p: 0.009) and HR (OR: 2.121; CI: 1.062-4.237; p: 0,033). In the multivariate results, the dominant risk factor was a history of maternal disease followed by anemia status and HR. The tendency of mothers who have a history of disease will increase the risk of maternal death compared to mothers who do not have a history of the disease.

The incidence of diabetes continues to increase worldwide. The state of hyperglycemia during pregnancy can trigger oxidative stress which can result in hypoxic conditions in the tissues characterized by an increase in HIF-1α. Basil which contains antioxidants is expected to reduce the expression of HIF-1α. This study aims to determine the effect of the administration of basil on the expression of HIF-1α in gestational diabetes mellitus model rats. To determine the effect of the administration of basil extract (Ocimum basilicum) on the expression of HIF-1α in gestational diabetes mellitus model rats. This research is experimental research conducted using the post test only control group design method. The research sample used biological material stored from rat RNA that had been induced by streptozotocin 40 mg/kgBB as an animal model of DMG in humans stored in the Biomedical Lab, FK Unand. The results of this study indicate the effect of the administration of basil extract (Ocimum basilicum) on the expression of HIF-1α in gestational diabetes mellitus model rats. Researchers used conventional PCR tools and still manually used ImageJ to look for HIF-1α expression values from electrophoresis results, so the possibility of bias still exists.

Smoking has very negative health consequences. The dangers of smoking must be recognized from school age. The snakes and ladders game is an interesting type of educational media that can be used to increase students' knowledge about the dangers of smoking. The aim of this research is to find out how the use of the snakes and ladders game impacts junior high school students' knowledge about the dangers of smoking. This research is considered quasi-experimental with a non-randomized control group pretest and posttest approach. The number of respondents in this study was 90 students, where respondents were divided into 2 groups, namely the treatment group who were given health education using comic-based Photonovella media and the comparison group using conventional methods (posters). Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the Wilcoxon Test and Mann Whitney U Test. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed a significant increase in the post test scores for the knowledge and behavior variables in both the treatment and comparison groups, but there was no significant increase in the post test scores for the attitude variables. Then the results of the Mann Whitney U Test (sig.2-tailed) on knowledge (0.007 < 0.05), attitudes (0.217 > 0.05), and behavior (0.024 < 0.05). This indicates that there is a significant difference between the scores of the treatment group and the comparison group on the knowledge and behavior variables, but there is no significant difference on the attitude variable.Comic-based photonovella can be used in the learning process because they are very effective in increasing children's knowledge, attitudes and behavior about the dangers of smoking. Therefore, this can be used as an alternative learning media to increase students' knowledge of health by increasing their knowledge about health.

Work fatigue is a condition caused by physical and mental activities that exceed capacity. According to National Safety Council data, > 60% of work accidents are caused by fatigue. In Indonesia, the agriculture, fisheries, plantation, and forestry sectors occupy the second position in the cause of work accidents. Work fatigue can be caused by both internal and external factors. Fatigue caused by external factors causes changes in the body's biochemical processes so that lactic acid builds up in the muscles. Initial survey on PT. X is located in Kampar Regency, information was obtained that there were cases of work accidents in harvesters which were mostly caused by work fatigue. Objective To determine the relationship between lactic acid levels and work fatigue in palm oil workers in PT. X Kampar Regency Methods This study was conducted using observational analytical methods, cross sectional research design. The sampling technique uses total sampling, as many as 114 samples have met the inclusion criteria. Bivariate analysis uses the Spearman test. Result p-value = 0.000; r = 0.607 with strong correlation strength and positive direction Conclusion There is a relationship between lactic acid levels and physical fatigue in harvesters

Tuberculosis is one of the world's health problems, especially in developing countries. Treatment regimen with multiple first-line anti-tuberculosis drugs (ATD) such as Isoniazid, Rifampicin, Pyrazinamide, Ethambutol, and Streptomycin remains the most effective for treatment of tuberculosis. Adverse drug reactions (ADRs) to antituberculosis drugs may range from mild gastrointestinal disturbances to serious hepatotoxicity, peripheral neuropathy, and cutaneous adverse effects. We report a 65 year old male patient with a complaint of yellowish discoloration of sclera, nausea and vomiting after three days of initiation of ATD therapy. The patient has been diagnosed with Tuberculosis relapse and has been taking ATD since June 2024. The patient noted epigastric pain. Laboratory examination found an increase in bilirubin level and electrolyte imbalance. The treatment is in the form of discontinuation of ATD, supportive therapy and followed by hepatoprotective supplements. ATD should be discontinued in patients with hepatotoxicity and fixed drug eruption until liver function and clinical symptoms improve. Initiation of ATD administration is carried out by administering one by one regimen. The patient is currently experiencing antituberculosis drug-induced hepatotoxicity, which is managed by providing supportive care and different AT regimens were prescribed.

Fibroadenoma mammae is a benign breast tumor that occurs due to abnormal proliferation of periductal tissue into the lobules, often found in the upper lateral quadrant area due to the highest distribution of glands in this tissue. FAM is commonly experienced by younger women between the ages of 20-40 years, with a median age of 30 years. The clinical appearance of FAM lumps is typically lobulated, mostly 2-3 cm in diameter, with a firm and mobile consistency, without causing inflammatory reactions, skin dimpling, or nipple retraction. In this case, we report an 18-year-old female patient diagnosed with a breast tumor. The history revealed a lump in the left breast that enlarged within 1 month, initially the size of a marble and growing to the size of a quail egg, occasionally causing pain. On physical examination, the lump was palpable, mobile, without tenderness or signs of malignancy. Ultrasound examination showed signs of a benign tumor.
