Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the influence of the covid-19 pandemic on the learning process from home in Palopo City. This research is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The results of this study show that Covid-19 has a significant impact on the learning system in elementary and junior high schools in Palopo City. There are negative and positive impacts of Covid-19 on the learning system in schools; 2. Parents gave a negative response to online learning during the study period from home due to several factors; 3. Elementary school parents have a higher response rate than parents who have children at the junior high school level; 4. Parental involvement during learning from home is very high. The data shows that 58% always, 29% often, 11% rarely and 2% never get involved and play a role during learning from home; 5. The involvement of elementary school parents is higher than the involvement of parents who have children at the junior high school level

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis problem based learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D Thiagarajan. Subjek penelitian pada tahap pengembangan adalah lembar kerja peserta didik dan pada tahap ujicoba adalah kelas X IPA. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar validasi ahli, angket, dan soal pretest dan posttest. Selama tahap validasi menyatakan lembar kerja peserta didik yang dikembangkan valid, skor ahli media 100% (sangat valid) dan skor ahli materi 87% (valid). Pada tahap uji coba terbatas dengan 10 peserta didik dediperoleh skor 75% (praktis) dengan N-gain sebesar 0,779 (kategori tinggi). Pada tahap uji coba luas dengan 30 peserta didik diperoleh skor 76% (praktis) dan N-gain sebesar 0,758 (kategori tinggi). Begitu juga pada tahap disseminate terjadi peningkatan berpikir kritis dengan skor 0,755 (kategori tinggi), sehingga lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis problem based learning dapat menghasilkan lembar kerja peserta didik yang valid, praktis dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Dengan demikian, lembar kerja peserta didik yang dikembangkan dapat dengan mudah digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

In this investigation, we will find out the cause of prospective students' interest in studying at MI Al-Furqon Srowo Sidayu. This study uses descriptive qualitative research with interview research methods using interview questionnaires which can Refer to obtain the expected research result. The subjects in this study were residents around MI Al-Furqon Srowo Sidayu, children who did not attend school at MI Al-Furqon Srowo Sidayu, and kindergarten-level children in groups A dan groups B. The result of this study indicates that the cause of the lack of interest of prospective students to study at MI Al-Furqon Stowo Sidayu occurs due to 2 factors, namely internal factors, and external factors. Internal factors are causes that exist within the individual (institution), and external factors are causes that come from outside the individual (institution). 67% of the cause of the lack of interest of prospective students to study at MI Al-Furqon are caused by internal school factors, 33% occur due to school external factors and the biggest external factor is following friends.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the guided inquiry model on students' mathematical communication skills on the material of a two-variable system of linear equations. Population research was a class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung. Subjects in this study were selected by cluster random sampling technique. Collecting data using observation techniques, questionnaires and tests of mathematical communication skills. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential statistics.For students' mathematical communication ability test data, it consists of 4 essay questions covering 3 indicators of mathematical communication skills, namely, drawing (expressing ideas in the form of images, graphs or diagrams), written text (providing mathematical explanations in the correct language), and mathematical expressions. (make a mathematical expression). The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively to get a comprehensive picture of students' mathematical communication skills.Based on the results of the t-test on the increase (N-gain) of mathematical communication skills obtained 0.049 <0.05. The results of the research and discussion show that the guided inquiry learning model is effective in improving students' mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

Most of the students in junior high school find it difficult to learn English, when asked to practice speaking in a text procedure in front of the class they feel afraid and not confident. This research aims to find out the effectiveness of learning procedures text in speaking practice by using a video vlog at SMPN 7 Muara Bungo. The methodology of this research is quasi-experimental quantitative research. The analysis method uses data collection descriptive analysis speaking test. The participant of this study is 28 respondents from class 9.3 SMPN 7 Muara Bungo. To retrieve the data, the researchers used the rubric of learning procedures text in speaking practice. The result of this study was obtained to see whether video vlogs have effectiveness in improving students’ English speaking ability in the practice of procedure text, in speaking English students often feel insecure so students are lazy to speak English, especially in front of their friends. the researcher found that using video vlogs as a medium to improve students speaking ability was not effective, research results show that ttest – 4,824>ttable 1,703.

Abstract

The problem in this research is science learning in class IV SDN 219/II BTN Lintas Asri is less meaningful and does not provide sufficient opportunities for students to do scientific work. So that science learning outcomes are not optimal. This research aims to describe the application of the quantum learning model in improving science learning processes and outcomes. This type of research is CAR to carry out a series of actions to improve the science learning process in the classroom. This research was conducted in two action cycles. The data collection instrument uses observation sheets and learning achievement tests. Then the data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that the teacher's observation sheet in the first cycle reached 63.15% and increased in the second cycle by reaching 81.57%. Student observation sheets in cycle I only reached 48.27%, while in cycle II it managed to increase to 79.31%. Students learning outcomes in the first cycle reached 41.37% completeness, while it increased to 82.75% in the second cycle. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the process and learning outcomes of science in class IV SDN 219/II BTN Lintas Asri can be increased through the application of the quantum learning model.

Abstract

This research observed aspects of the philosophy of science that focuses on the axiological aspect (use value) of the profile of Pancasila student in the independent learning curriculum. The study used a qualitative research method with a literature study approach. The collection of relevant data information was taken from various library sources such as; books, journals, news, internet in accordance with the topic of discussion. The results of this study were obtained by classifying the dimensions, elements, and sub-elements of the Pancasila student profile of the independent learning curriculum into three categories of ethical components in philosophical axiology. It was found that there are three dimensions that contain descriptive ethics; there are four dimensions that contain normative ethics; and there are three dimensions that contain meta-ethical ethics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Number Head Together (NHT) learning model and its effect on science learning outcomes for fifth grade students at SDN. No. 25/VI Tanjung Ilir, Tabir I District, Merangin Regency. This research is a type of quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental) with a research design using the One Shot-Case Study. The instruments used are observation sheets of educators and students and 20 multiple choice test questions. The implementation of the Number Head Together (NHT) learning model for educators is 93.75% with a very good category. Furthermore, for the application of the Number Head Together (NHT) learning model to 37.9% students in the very good category and 58.7% in the good category. The average value obtained by students is 78 with 73% completeness. The relationship between the implementation of the Number Head Together (NHT) model with science learning outcomes obtained a value (rs) of 0.545 with a moderate level of relationship. The significance test is based on the value of rscount (0.545) > rtable (0.375) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between the implementation of the learning process with the NHT model and the science learning outcomes of students in class V. Based on the results of research analysis that the Number Head Together learning model (NHT) has been implemented well so that it has an influence on science learning outcomes in grade V elementary school.

Abstract

One of the importance things that can increase the effectiveness of learning process is a textbook. the present of textbook that arranged based on students’ need can increase the effectiveness of learning process in the university. The aim of the research is to know is smart digital book “belajar dan pembelajaran” can be used for students?. This research is research and development (R&D) that used ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation) model. The result of the research showed that smart digital book “belajar dan pembelajaran can be use for students in English education department. It can be shown form expert validation. It is 83,33 % for material expert and 76,66% for media expert.

Abstract

This paper presents the results of a case study conducted at a university in Indonesia, which aimed to investigate the feasibility of using student-created podcasts for online interactive formative assessment in a pre-service teacher education course. The research was conducted as part of a larger, first-year initiative that aimed to record, refine, and spread efficient and original methods of using the internet for teaching and learning. Interviews with course instructors discussions in student focus groups (FGs), and overall course assessments all point to the podcasting assignment as a means by which the instructor, and students might gain new knowledge and insight from one another. Students gained the knowledge, competence, and assurance from the experience to do further independent research into technology for pedagogical reasons. This research helps us understand what future educators need to know to be successful in classrooms where digital tools like the internet and mobile devices play a central role in both teaching and learning.
