Abstract

The background in this study is the lack of awareness of students in the learning process so that students still feel embarrassed and reluctant to ask what they do not understand, interactions and communication between students and students or between students and teachers have not been established because group discussions are rarely held. The purpose of this study was to improve mathematical problem solving skills by applying the scientific learning model of class X Accounting students. 2. This type of research is classroom action research. The research setting consists of 1) research location 2) research time 3) research subjects. This research was conducted in two cycles. Cycle I had two meetings and cycle II had one meeting. In pre-cycle the class average score was 60, cycle I increased to 75, and in cycle II increased to 80. As for classical learning completeness in pre-cycle conditions was 60%, in cycle I it increased to 75%, and in cycle II it became 80%. The minimum score in pre-cycle conditions is 45, in cycle I it is 60, and in cycle II it increases to 62.While the maximum score in pre-cycle conditions is 85, cycle I is 93, and in cycle II it increases to 100.

Abstract

The background in this research is the achievement of Accounting Learning which is still low on the competence of Managing Accounts Receivable Cards, so that the daily test scores of students of class XI Accounting 2 SMK Negeri 1 Muara Bungo who have not reached the KKM. The purpose of this study is the Application of Problem Based Learning Learning Model Improving Accounting Learning Achievement in Class XI Accounting 2 SMK N. 1 Muara Bungo Students. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research setting consists of 1) research location 2) research time 3) research subjects. This research was conducted in two cycles. Cycle I had two meetings and cycle II had one meeting. The application of the Problem Based Learning Model to Improve Students' Accounting Learning Achievement in the Competency of Managing Accounts Receivable Cards for Class XI Accounting 2 SMK N. 1 Muara Bungo, can be said to be successful. The average value of students' accounting learning achievement before the action was taken was 69.36 with the KKM achievement percentage of 29%, after taking action in the first cycle the average value increased to 70.95 with the KKM achievement percentage of 54.17%. In the second cycle the students' average score increased to 93.86 or a percentage of 87.5% or an increase from the first cycle of 22.91.

Abstract

“Ability to write Procedure Text of SMK Negeri 1 Muara Bungo”. Classroom Action Research (PTK). Subjects of Indonesian Language, this study aims to: (1) describe the ability to write procedural text for class X students, (2) describe the ability to write procedural text for class X students on the aspect of content; (3) to describe the students' ability to write procedural text for class X on the structural aspects; (4) to describe the students' ability to write procedural text for class X on the aspects of writing rules; (5) to describe the students' ability to write procedural text for class X on aspects of linguistic characteristics. This type of quantitative descriptive research is research that produces numbers to measure the ability to write procedural texts for class X OTKP students of SMK Negeri 1 Muara Bungo. The results showed that the class X OTKP students of SMK Negeri 1 Muara Bungo obtained an average score of 80.54 with a percentage of 77.41%, which was able to write procedural texts. In the content aspect, the average score of the sample students was in the capable category with a value of 86.29. In the structural aspect, the mean score of high school students is in the capable category with a score of 85.48. In the aspect of writing rules, the average score of the sample students was in the sufficient category with a value of 73.79, and in the aspect of linguistic characteristics, the average score of the sample students was in the sufficient category with a value of 77.01.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low motivation and learning outcomes of students in Mathematics class XII Class XII TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Muara Bungo. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in motivation in the CTL class XII model in motivation and learning outcomes. This research is a classroom action research with a quantitative approach. The research subjects were students of class XII TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Muara Bungo, totaling 22 people. The implementation of this study consisted of two cycles carried out by the researcher. Each cycle consists of planning, acting, observing and reflecting on each cycle. This research was conducted in the second semester of the 2019/2020 school year. The data of this research are videos, documentation, students' motivation questionnaire and test results. The results showed that there was an increase in learning motivation from cycle I to 65.22% and to cycle II to 80.68%. This indicates that the learning motivation of students increased according to the indicator, namely 80%, and the learning outcomes of students in the first cycle were 63.86%, while the second cycle increased to 81.81%. Seeing this research, using the CTL model in Mathematics learning needs to be applied and developed in order to improve the quality of education in the future.

Abstract

One of the problems with the underdevelopment of the physical education learning process in schools, among others, is the limited learning facilities and infrastructure available in schools, lack of funds to organize programs that will produce meaningful changes, expected learning outcomes. This type of research is development research which refers to the development model of Suharsimi Arikunto. (1) conducting product analysis that will be developed from the results of field observations and literature reviews, (2) developing the initial product form, (3) expert evaluation using one physical education expert and one junior high school physical education learning expert, and small-scale trials (10 students ), using a questionnaire and then analyzed, (4) initial product revisions, (5) large-scale trials (32 students), (6) final product revisions after conducting large-scale field trials, (7) final results of rocket media for students Class XI SMK produced through revision of large-scale field trials. The instrument used was a questionnaire questionnaire. The data analysis technique is a descriptive percentage. The conclusion of this study is the results of the assessment of the experts, namely, Physical Education experts 92% (very good) and learning experts 98% (very good). Student cognitive learning outcomes of ≥ 88%.

Abstract

This study examines the improvement of the ability to write news texts through the Think Talk Write (TTW) strategy by using photos of events on class XI OTKP students of SMK Negeri 1 Muara Bungo. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in the ability of Class XI OTKP students of SMK Negeri 1 Muara Bungo in writing news texts through the TTW strategy using photo events. The subject of this study was 30 students. The object of the research is the learning process of writing news texts through the TTW strategy using photo events. This classroom action research procedure is in the form of a cycle, cycle I consists of two meetings (3 hours of lessons), while cycle II consists of one meeting (2 hours of lessons). Each cycle consists of four main steps, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The instruments used were test and non-test instruments. Data analysis was performed using qualitative and quantitative techniques. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the ability to write news texts in Class XI OTKP students of SMK Negeri 1 Muara Bungo can be improved through the TTW strategy using event photos, the application of the TTW strategy using event photos can increase the development of 5W + 1H elements into interesting news texts. . Based on the results of the students' writing, the ability to write news texts increased from cycle I to cycle II. In the pre-cycle, 20% of students completed with a class average score of 59.17. In the first cycle, the average score increased to 6.43 and students' completeness was 63%. In the second cycle, the class average score increased to 81.9 and students' completeness was 93%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact in schools that mathematics learning is carried out by the teacher only with the flow of providing information, lectures, practice questions, and giving assignments, without being given the opportunity to find out on their own. Many approaches can be used to change the way teachers teach. The problem of this research is how to apply a contextual approach to improve the learning outcomes of story questions about FPB in class IV SD Negeri 05 / VIII Balai Rajo. While the use of this discussion is as a reference for teachers to use a contextual approach in mathematics learning, especially in problem solving learning. To arrive at the objectives and benefits of this study, a classroom action research was conducted. The research method was conducted using Classroom Action Research. The research procedure starts with planning, implementing, observing (observation), and reflecting. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle carried out two meetings. Each cycle carried out a contextual approach and proved that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in the material for solving story questions related to FPB and KPK at IV SD Negeri 05 / VIII Balai Rajo. It can be seen that student learning outcomes increased from the class average of 71.11 in the first cycle to 88.6 in the second cycle. There was also an increase in student activity in the first cycle, only 65 to 80 in the second cycle. This shows that contextual-based problem solving learning can improve student learning outcomes and activities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the mathematical reasoning and problem solving abilities of PGSD students, Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan, based on the gender in resolving story problems. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The research subjects were 6 PGSD students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan who were selected based on the criteria of academic abilities; students with high reasoning, moderate reasoning, and low reasoning. The data collection techniques were observation, test, and interview. The data analysis was based on the results of test, observation, and interview obtained by students and based on table rubrics. Data analysis was carried out by the researcher using 6 subjects as representatives consisting of 3 males and 3 females with criteria previously mentioned (high, moderate, low). The results of data analysis on mathematical reasoning and problem solving abilities based on gender were female students' mathematical reasoning abilities were superior than male students' mathematical reasoning abilities. Abstract

Sexual violence or sexual harassment has always been a problem that never stops, every year it always increases. Sexual violence can happen to anyone, including children with mental retardation. Children with mental disabilities are those with mental retardation, where their mental condition is below normal limits, this condition is also known as mental retardation, but physically they are normal. It is appropriate to educate them about sexual education, because after all they have to be independent and be able to stand on their own feet. So it takes a proper management management in delivering sexual education to them. Based on the results of the research, it was found that educational management was learning about gender differences and the cultivation of character education. The learning model that can be applied is the center learning model, with the concept of role playing. This is what will be discussed in this article in order to alleviate children with mental retardation from violence or sexual harassment that threatens their future.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the results of learning mathematics in the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic (vak) learning model and the problem-based learning (pbl) model for students of SMP Muhammadiyah 33 Jakarta. The research method used in this research is a quasi-experimental method. The sampling technique used was cluster sampling and simple random sampling. The instrument for collecting data was a test with 8 essays. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique and data requirements test. Test data requirements used are normality test and homogeneity test. In normality test, obtained sig. > α, means that data in the experimental and control class are normally distributed. In homogeneity test, obtained sig.> α, that is, both data have homogeneous variants. Furthermore, the hypothesis is tested using a free (independent) sample t-test. Based on the calculation, obtained sig. <α and tcount> ttable, so H0 is rejected and the mathematics learning outcomes of students who are given visual, auditory, and kinesthetic (vak) learning models are higher than learning outcomes who are given problem-based learning models. Thus, the VAK learning model is better than the PBL learning model for mathematics learning outcomes of SMP Muhammadiyah 33 Jakarta.
