Abstract

The problem in this study is the student's learning achievement in mathematics learning in grade 1 SDN 04 / II Muara Bungo, this is evidenced by the results of preliminary observations made by researchers from 25 students, only 40% meet the KKM. The reason is that educators only use the lecture method which does not interest students to learn. The purpose of this study was to describe and determine the application of the demonstration method in improving mathematics learning achievement in Class 1. The type of research used in this study was classroom action research (CAR). This study consisted of two cycles, each cycle carried out through 4 stages, namely planning, acting, observing and reflecting and consisted of two meetings. The results of this study indicate that the average score has increased from 73 to 84 so that completeness reaches 90% of the students. 100% of all students are very active in the learning process. They try to quickly match the question cards and answer cards, so the efforts made by the author are good enough and this repair has stopped here.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of determining minimum completeness criteria through workshops, as well as to improve teachers' skills in determining minimum completeness criteria through workshops at SD Negeri 73 / II Simpang Sungai Mancur. In addition, this study also aims to describe the teacher's response to the activities undertaken. This research is classified as a supervisory action research involving 8 teachers. The research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisted of 4 stages, namely: planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The determined performance indicators are: if at least 85% of the teachers are classified as very good and good in the aspect of determining the minimum completeness criteria, then it can be said that the action implemented is successful. Aspects that are measured in assessing the success of the action are the readiness of the teacher to attend the workshop and the results of the workshop. From the analysis, it was found that there was an increase in the readiness and performance of teachers in determining the minimum completeness criteria from cycle I to cycle II. Achievement of performance indicators is found in action II. Therefore it can be concluded that through workshops can improve teacher skills in determining minimum completeness criteria at SD Negeri 73 / II Simpang Sungai Mancur. Thus, it can be suggested to supervisors or other researchers that workshop activities can be used as an alternative in improving teacher skills in determining minimum completeness criteria.

Abstract

The problem in this study is whether the use of hanging ball media in hang style long jump learning in physical education subjects can increase interest, motivation and learning outcomes of class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Bungo. The purpose of this study was to increase interest, motivation and student learning outcomes in participating in the Hang Style long jump learning in class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Bungo in the 2019/2020 academic year through hanging ball media. This research is a classroom action research. This study used 2 cycles, each of which consisted of: 1) planning; 2) implementation of the action; 3) observation; 4) reflection. The research carried out included 3 domains, namely the psychomotor domain, the affective domain, the cognitive domain. In addition, observations were made of the learning process during research activities and made a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire on learning interest and motivation, to determine the extent of student satisfaction and interest in participating in learning using media. The results showed that the hang style long jump learning outcomes with hanging ball media in class XI SMK Negeri 1 Bungo had a positive impact, this was seen in the results of student learning completeness that exceeded the predetermined KKM, namely 75, experienced an increase, namely in cycle I learning completeness reached 73 , 53% while in cycle II learning completeness reached 91.18%. It can be concluded that learning the hang style long jump using hanging ball media can increase learning interest and motivation.

Abstract

The main purpose of implementing group guidance services with the Trait and Factor approach is to provide students with an understanding of careers due to the lack of information obtained by students about careers so that future career planning and selection are in accordance with the potential of the individual. This study aims to determine the implementation of the approach through group guidance for students who do not get and know information about careers in class XI TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Bungo in the 2019/2020 Academic Year. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects in this study were 5 students of class XI TKJ 1 and 5 students of class XI TKJ 2. Data collection techniques in this study were using observation and interviews. The data analysis technique for the implementation of the research was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation and conclusions during the study. So from these results it can be seen that the increase in students' knowledge of understanding about careers and career selection and planning for the future. Thus the application of group guidance services with a trait and factor approach to provide an understanding of the careers of class XI TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Bungo Academic Year 2019/2020 can increase understanding of careers.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the activities of students in Civics learning that are still less active and participating because there is only giving information from teachers to students so that students are less enthusiastic and look bored during the learning process. This study aims to increase student citizenship education activities through a contextual teaching and learning approach to class IX.1 students in the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year at SMP Negeri 3 Muara Bungo. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) with a qualitative descriptive approach carried out in two cycles of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The indicators used are the ability to answer questions, the courage to ask questions, express opinions, the skills to give suggestions, and come up with conclusions. The results showed an increase in each indicator in the first cycle compared to the initial observations, namely 5.3%, 7%, 2.6%, 2.6%, 7.9%. while the increase in the second cycle compared to the first cycle, namely 5.2%, 2.6%, 2.6%, 5.2%, 2.6%. it can be concluded that student activity in Civics learning can be increased by using the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach at SMP Negeri 3 Muara Bungo.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem is how to apply a realistic Mathematics learning model based on Bruner learning theory in improving the process and results of Mathematics learning in grade IV SDN 40 / VI Rantau Panjang. The purpose of this research is to describe and know the application of realistic Mathematics learning model based on the theory of learning bruner in improving the process and results of learning Mathematics in grade IV. This type of research used in this study is class action research (PTK). This research consists of 2 cycles, each cycle is carried out through 4 stages, namely: planning, action, observation and reflection and each cycle consists of 2 meetings. The subject of this research is 24 people, 16 female students and 8 male students. Data collection techniques are observation , tests and documentation. The results of the study can be explained as follows: (1) the application of realistic mathematics learning model based on the theory of learning bruner seen from the observation sheet that is cycle I of the teacher aspect with an average score of 80.6% and the aspect of students with an average score of 64.55% while in cycle II there is an increase from the teacher aspect with an average score of 90.625% and the aspect of students with an average score of 76.99% who have achieved indicators of success.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The problem in this study is that speaking skills related to students' pronunciation are still not in line as they should be. In reality, students are still weak in speaking correctly. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research, with the research subjects being students of SMP Negeri 3 Muara Bungo. The results of the study stated that the average achievement of each task from each group in the first cycle was 66 and the second cycle was 78. There was an average increase in students' speaking skills in learning English for all assignments in groups I, II, III, IV, V and VI. is 20, 20, 20, 40, 40, 10. The ratio of the increase is as follows 20: 20: 20: 40: 40: 10 = 150 or 13%: 13%: 13%: 27%: 27%: 7%. The comparison of the average increase in the speaking skills of students learning English in the first cycle and the second cycle is 66: 78 = 144 or 46: 54 = 100. The conclusion of this study is that the speaking skills of students learning English can increase if using invitation learning media (Invitation). ). Keywords: speaking skill, English, invitation

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low process and learning outcomes of elementary school students in grade IV SD Negeri No. 002/XI Pasar Sungai Penuh. So it is necessary to do research with the aim of improving the process and learning outcomes of science after using the cooperative model of the snowball throwing type. The research was carried out using classroom action research (CAR) which consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation. The subject of this research is the fourth grade students of SD Negeri No. 002/XI Pasar Sungai Penuh as many as 28 people. Data collection instruments in the form of observation sheets and learning outcomes test questions. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative analysis method. The results showed that (1) an increase in the learning process carried out by teachers from the first cycle reached 83% and an increase in the second cycle reached 94.04%. In addition, the student learning process also experienced a very good increase, where in the first cycle it reached 71.4% and increased in the second cycle it reached 89.3%. (2) there is an increase in students' science learning outcomes with the achievement of learning outcomes test scores in the first cycle reaching 76.6% and experiencing a very good increase in the second cycle reaching 88.6%. Thus, the use of the cooperative model of the snowball throwing type can improve the process and learning outcomes of fourth grade science students.

Abstract

A teacher is required to plan, implement and evaluate learning. The same thing happens with the teaching and learning process in schools that must have a plan. This research includes five elements, namely; make annual programs, make syllabus, make semester programs, make lesson plans, and make test or evaluation programs. This study aims to make efforts to improve teacher competence at SMP Negeri 3 Bungo and to see to what extent the principal's academic supervision steps can improve teacher competence in the preparation of syllabus and lesson plans. Based on the results of the analysis in the 2018/2019 academic year at SMP Negeri 3 Bungo, there was a problem with the low number of teachers who made lesson plans, especially the preparation of syllabus and lesson plans.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of caricature media on the ability to write drama scripts in class IX A students of SMP Negeri 3 Muara Bungo in the 2017-2018 school year. The population of this research is the entire class IX which consists of 2 classes with a total of 70 students. The sample of this study was class IX A which was designated as the experimental class with 24 students and class IX B as the control class with 24 students. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The instrument of this study used an essay test. Based on data analysis techniques, the results of the study were an average of 81.54 using caricature media with details of students getting a score of 80-100 very good 16 people (66.67%) and students who scored 66-69 good 8 people (33 ,33%) by grade IX A students of SMP Negeri 3 Muara Bungo in the 2017-2018 academic year. The average value of 71.22 using the lecture model with details of students who scored 80-100 very well 1 person (4.16%), students who scored 66-79 both 21 people (87.5%) and students who scored 56-65 enough for 2 people (8.34%). Caricature media is more influential in writing drama scripts than the lecture model. Next is hypothesis testing > that is (3.45 > 1.676). Thus, the hypothesis reads that there is "The influence of caricature media on the ability to write drama scripts in class IX A students of SMP Negeri 3 Muara Bungo in the 2017-2018 academic year".
