Abstract

The education equality program is one of the government's efforts to advance education in Indonesia through several policies, one of which is the policy of accepting new students through a zoning system. This zoning system emerged as a form of educational equality and to erase the image of superior schools that has spread in society. With this zoning system, it is hoped that all schools will have the same quality. Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 44 of 2019 contains the zoning system policy concerning acceptance of new students from Kindergarten to Senior High School/Vocational High School (SMA/SMK). This policy must be implemented in schools under the auspices of the Regional Government. With this new policy, it cannot be denied that many problems will arise for both the school and the community, namely students. This research aims to reveal the factual conditions of implementing the zoning system policy in accepting new students, especially at SMP Negeri 31 Surabaya, as well as to determine the impact of implementing this policy. This problem was analyzed using policy implementation theory according to George Edward III, namely communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. This research method uses a qualitative approach. Data collection methods use interviews, documentation, and observation techniques. The results of this research reveal that communication between policy actors is carried out clearly and consistently, and outreach is carried out to the community. Human and non-human resources have supported all activities in implementing zoning system policies. The disposition in implementing the zoning system policy is excellent, which can be seen from the commitment and attitude of the implementing committee towards the policy. The bureaucratic structure in implementing the zoning system policy is very good, it can be seen from the division of tasks in the PPDB committee, that each committee has the task of accepting new students following standard operational procedures. Meanwhile, from the community or student perspective, different views emerged regarding this zoning policy, namely agreeing and disagreeing.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the improvement in student learning outcomes in learning using Contextual Teaching and Learning assisted by image media. Data collection methods were carried out using quantitative and quantitative methods. Data display techniques are carried out using observation and documentation techniques. Assessment instruments include written tests, observation sheets, and videos of learning activities. The conclusion of this research is the results of data collection on completion, every week the first and second increases, the first 62.5, and the second 82.08. When KKM measures the academic achievement of students who take daily tests, the progress of elementary school graduates is an average of 58.33 students, and only three students improve on daily tests, for example six students who take an average of 62.5 students increase by 50%. and second. by 50%. cycle average 82.08, an increase of 50% across twelve graduates. Overall student achievement was observed in Stage One (50%) and increased to 100% in stage B. Previous results showed that SOL activities improved learning and academic presentation grade 4 students SDN 7 Sambelia Lombok Timur. The conclusion from the results of this research is that through the CTL approach teacher abilities, student activities and student learning achievement increase.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the difficulties of early reading in elementary school students. The type of research used in this study is descriptive research. The subjects of this study were early reading in elementary school students. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The instrument used was a non-test instrument in the form of a questionnaire regarding early reading. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative descriptive statistical data analysis techniques. The results of the study that have been described are the difficulties of early reading in elementary school students, lack of interest in learning to read and lack of guidance, difficulties of early reading in elementary school students, namely not being able to recognize letters, not being able to read syllables, not being able to read words, and not being able to arrange the arrangement of letters in spelling words. The conclusion of this study is that the difficulties of early reading are due to the lack of interest in learning students, lack of interest in reading, lack of tutoring and lack of family assistance in the process of learning to read early. The implications of implementing this research are to motivate students to learn to understand the content and meaning of a reading, and to motivate students to learn to communicate orally and in writing.

Abstract

A song is a work of art which is the result of the relationship between sound art and language art. Songs are created to convey messages and express what the songwriter feels and sees. In this increasingly developing era, many young Karo people are leaving behind their cultural heritage such as dance, music, especially traditional songs from the land of Karo. Therefore, in this research the author anan carried out an analysis of one of the Karo struggle songs entitled "Erkata Bedil by Djaga Sembiring Depari, and explained the meaning of the song for the Karo tribe community. In this research, the author used a qualitative method with a pragmatic approach. This song is often sung or performed when commemorating the "guro-guro aron drum (traditional party for young people after the harvest is over). This song has a very strong meaning in the struggle for independence carried out by the heroes.

Abstract

This research aims to examine how mimetic phenomena convey meaning in the literary work of poetry "Sinabung Sayang" by Priska Natalia Milala. Apart from that, research is also focused on mimetics, namely imitation of natural phenomena that represent emotional feelings and atmosphere. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, because it analyzes mimetic concepts and describes the meaning intended by the author of the poem. The mimetic concept used in this research is a combination of Plato's and Aristotle's mimetic concepts. As is known, these two concepts have different meanings. As a result, a natural phenomenon was discovered: a volcano erupted. Apart from that, there are also imitation emotions: sadness, calm, and fear. This research is useful for understanding the message conveyed by the author to the readers of this poem.

Abstract

Legislative regulations apply from the term legislation which is defined as legislation and making laws, the term wetgeving is translated to mean forming laws, and the whole of state law, while the term Gesetzgebung is translated to mean legislation. This researcher aims to reveal various types of legislation/policies for the teaching profession. This research is qualitative research with data mining techniques using literature study. The data analysis went through three stages: data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that there are several kinds of laws and regulations/policies for the teaching profession, including: Law on Teachers and Lecturers, Law No. 20 of PP RI No. 19 of 2005, PP RI No. .74 in 2008.

Abstract

Dengan menggunakan pendekatan M. H. Abrams, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan analisis terhadap cerpen Pengemis Kecil Itu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan isi cerpen dan (2) menganalisis unsur intrinsik Cerpen. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian berjudul “Pengemis Kecil Itu karya Aprilia Dwi Iriani" adalah subjeknya. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan catatan dan teknik pustaka. Metode yang dijelaskan untuk mendapatkan kembali informasi yang diinginkan dikenal sebagai desain pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tokoh utama cerpen Aprilia Dwi Iriani "Pengemis Kecil Itu" menghadapi tantangan sehari-hari sebagai pengemis kecil yang harus mengemis untuk mendapatkan sesuap nasi untuk hidup. Randy, ibu, dan ayahnya,Vita, Tio, Iwan, Didi adalah tokoh-tokoh dalam cerita. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan M. H. Abstract

Literary works are not only a form of work that contains beauty, but literary works also contain meaning in them. Poetry is an imaginative literary work, structured in aesthetic and simple words but not easily understood by readers, especially without knowledge in analyzing poetry. Often the meaning of poetry is analogous to other objects so that the meaning of poetry is hidden behind the beauty of the words. Poetry can be a motivation for readers, especially those who love writing. Analysis of the poem "Poem for Sriwijaya SJ182" by Dwi Suranti because this poem is easy to understand at a linguistic level so it is easier for researchers to study it using a mimetic approach.

Abstract

This study analyzes the lyrics of the song "Komang" by Raim Laode through an expressive approach, examining how the lyrics express the emotions and meanings contained therein. The analysis focuses on the use of diction, metaphors, and images that build the atmosphere and convey the personal message of the songwriter. The results of the analysis show that "Komang" expresses deep longing, affection, and appreciation for the figure of "Komang" who is personified as something valuable and gives peace. The expressive approach allows for a deeper understanding of Raim Laode's emotions and personal experiences as expressed in the lyrics of the song, beyond mere literal interpretation. This journal also discusses the implications of the expressive approach in understanding musical works of art, especially in the context of personal and emotional song lyrics.
