Fokus dan Ruang Lingkup Artikel yang dimuat dalam INCOME: Indonesian Journal of Community Service and Engagement berbasis penelitian seperti Participatory Action Research, Pengembangan Masyarakat Berbasis Aset, Riset Berbasis Masyarakat, Pembelajaran Layanan, Pengembangan Masyarakat. Kegiatan pelayanan diorganisasikan menjadi kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. <![CDATA[Accidents and injuries are still 20% more common in small companies, including MSMEs, compared to large companies. Lack of safety awareness is one of the obstacles why safety is not widely implemented in the MSME area. In line with this description, the MSME group in Wiyung District, Surabaya City, has not experienced an increase in profit over the past few years, due to declining employee productivity. This is suspected because of the frequent occurrence of accidents that cause injuries to employees, thereby affecting their absenteeism levels and impacting lost working days which affects productivity. Based on these problems, training was carried out to increase safety awareness through the Work Improvements in Small Enterprise (WISE) program which aims to increase safety awareness for MSME groups as well as improve working conditions through the application of safety values.]]>

<![CDATA[Sebagian besar siswa menganggap matematika itu sulit karena sifatnya yang abstrak. khususnya pada bidang geometri yang tidak dapat diselesaikan secara manual. Sehingga dibutuhkan media yang dapat memvisualisasikan masalah abstrak pada matematika. Geogebra adalah program yang memungkinkan siswa mendapatkan perasaan intuitif dan membayangkan proses matematika. Geogebra dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran matematika karena didesain khusus untuk materi pengajaran geometri di Sekoah Dasar. Penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis Geogebra cukup menarik untuk diterapkan karena memiliki beberapa kelebihan. Seperti dapat menghasilkan gambar bangun ruang dengan cepat dan akurat, dapat menghasilkan gerakan manipulasi pada objek bangun ruang, serta mampu menunjukkan sifat-sifat yang berlaku pada suatu objek bangun ruang. Dengan media ini siswa dapat membedakan antara sisi, rusuk, diagonal dari bangun ruang. Hasil pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat membantu dan memudahkan siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar di Sekolah SMP Santo Xaverius 2 Kabanjahe. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengenalkan aplikasi geogebra dalam pembelajaran geometri pada siswa smp santo xaverius 2 kabanjahe, Agar proses pelatihan dapat terlaksana dengan baik dan mudah dipahami oleh mitra, maka dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan, yaitu ceramah, diskusi/tanya jawab, dan praktik lansung serta pendampingan. Pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan bersama dengan kelompok mitra yaitu SMP Santo Xaverius 2 Kabanjahe. Hasil pengabdian yang dilakukan di sekolah SMP Santo Xaverius 2 Kabanjahe diperoleh bahwa siswa merespon kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan dengan baik. Siswa melakukan tutorial penggunaan geogebra di sekolah dengan semangat. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat berjalan dengan baik dan lancar.]]>

<![CDATA[Sistem pendaftaran tanah lengkap merupakan program yang diselenggarakan oleh pemerintah khususnya Kementerian Pertanahan dan Perencanaan Wilayah atau Kepala Badan Pertanahan. Hal ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan jumlah pendaftar tanah yang menerbitkan sertifikat di Indonesia. Keputusan Pemerintah Nomor 24 Tahun 1997, menggantikan Keputusan Pemerintah Nomor 10 Tahun 1961, merupakan pelaksana amanat yang diatur dalam Pasal 19 Keputusan Pemerintah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses pelaksanaan pendaftaran tanah sistematik lengkap serta kendala-kendalanya dan mengkaji upaya-upaya pelaksanaan pendaftaran tanah sistematik lengkap di Desa Jaranguda, Kecamatan Merdeka Kabupaten Karo. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian hukum empiris. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data hukum primer dan sekunder, kemudian dianalisis melalui teknik interpretasi dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pendaftaran tanah sistematis lengkap di Desa Jaranguda dilakukan untuk mencapai kepastian hukum kepemilikan hak atas tanah. Pelaksanaan program ini belum efektif dan belum dilaksanakan secara optimal karena rendahnya partisipasi dalam pengurusan sertifikat tanah di daerah tersebut.]]>

<![CDATA[AbstractEfforts to increase food production in rice and polowijo are often constrained by pests and diseases. One of them is rat pests as rodents. Owls are a solution for handling rat pests. Owl cultivation requires the cost of making pegupon as a house for owls with prices ranging from Rp. 750,000.00 to Rp. 1,500,000.00. The price depends on the material used. Meanwhile, Pasi village already has 10 owls with more than 50 owls. The development of owls knows no season, this is comparable to the rapid development of mice. So that owls can prey on as many as 3 to 7 rats every day, at least the number of rat pests can be significantly reduced when compared to their growth. Keywords: Rat Pests, Owl Breeding, Owl Nests]]>

<![CDATA[Olahraga gulat merupakan olahraga yang rentan terhadap cedera berat yang harus dihadapi dalam olahraga gulat, berdampak pada kontinuitas Latihan dan keberlanjutan pembinaan para atlet muda. Banyak atlet junior tidak melanjutkan kiprah dalam olahraga berat. Dalam melakukan kegiatan pemustan Latihan dan pertandingan membutuhkan seorang ahli untuk melakukan penangan apabila terjadi cedera dan sport massage pada saat proses pelatihan berlangsung. Sehingga ini yang menjadi dasar untuk dilaksanakan program kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang pendampingan pencegahan dan perawatan cedera olahraga melalui sport massage di Club Gulat SMK 1 Kabanjahe. Metode yang digunakan untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah sosialisasi dan kemudian praktik langsung kepada atlet di club SMK Negeri 1 Kabanjahe. Adapun praktik sport massage dan penangan cedera disebabkan spasme, over use, penumpukan asam laktat serta cidera otot serta persendian. Peserta pada kegiatan ini adalah atlet gulat di Club SMK Negeri 1 Kabanjahe sebanyak 27 orang. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan terhadap pengetahuan atlet terhadap pencegahan dan perawatan cedera olahraga melalui sport massage.]]>

<![CDATA[In this era, many children have begun to leave the habit of reading because they are more interested in playing gadgets than reading books. The tendency to play gadgets has a negative impact on children's development in communicating. As we know, communication must be done in two directions while when children play gadgets there are no communication activities that take place. In the absence of two-way communication when children play gadgets can have an impact on decreasing children's ability to absorb information and communication skills. However, this is exacerbated by teachers and children's environment that has not been maximized in directing children to like reading. This is due to the lack of awareness of teachers or children's environment on the importance of reading and also the lack of availability of media that interests children to read. Departing from this problem, a team of lecturers and students of English Language Education Study Program at Quality University of Berastagi carried out community service by providing knowledge about reading methods that can attract children's interest in reading books, namely the Read Aloud method. Read aloud is one strategy of reading aloud with the aim of focusing children's attention. Read aloud can also make reading a fun activity so as to create information, build vocabulary, focus attention, stimulate questions so as to create discussion so that children can focus more on following the learning process. From the activities carried out at the Yayasan Nurul Hidayah for grade 3 students, they seemed enthusiastic about listening to the stories read by the speakers and from their friends and seemed to focus on listening, increasing vocabulary, and taking the essence of the stories read. <![CDATA[Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Qur'an Pagutan which began implementing the independent curriculum in the 2022/2023 academic year in grades 1,2,3, and 5. MI Nurul Qur'an chose the independent option of sharing in implementing IKM by developing its own tools. MI Nurul Qur'an in preparing its teaching staff for IKM sent teachers to attend IKM training, but most of it was done bravely, so that the understanding of teachers was still limited, especially in making independent curriculum tools such as teaching modules to replace lesson plans. The purpose of the activity is to increase the understanding of madrasa teachers in implementing the independent curriculum, through seminars and interactive discussions which will be held on August 31, 2023. The implementation of this activity consists of three stages, namely preparation, seminar activities, and closing and follow-up. Madrasah teachers feel that their understanding of the independent curriculum policy is increasing, and wish to be assisted in creating independent curriculum tools.]]>

<![CDATA[Training on computational thinking questions for new Mathematics Education students is a training that aims to improve the understanding and computational thinking skills of students who are currently studying mathematics. Computational thinking is a key ability that allows individuals to formulate problems, develop algorithms, and apply computational concepts in problem solving. This training program identifies the gap between the ideal understanding of computing and today's reality, and seeks to fill the gap. Through a series of comprehensive training sessions, students are introduced to the basic concepts of computational thinking and the integration of mathematics with computing. They are given the opportunity to practice designing mathematical problems that require computational thinking as part of their teaching. This program aims to create mathematics teachers who are better prepared and competent in teaching mathematical concepts, while preparing them to face the demands of a world that is increasingly dependent on technology. In order to achieve this goal, this training emphasizes the importance of regular evaluations to monitor student progress. In this way, this training provides benefits for students in the context of mathematics education, but also contributes to the development of stronger mathematical literacy among the younger generation and their preparation for success in an increasingly digitally connected future.]]>

<![CDATA[Lake Toba is a strategic tourist destination in Indonesia with rich natural and cultural potentials. The local cultural wisdom serves as one of the primary attractions for visitors. The government encourages the active role of the local community in managing and developing tourism. In this regard, the younger generation, especially millennials, plays a central role in advancing tourism and preserving cultural heritage. Despite their pivotal role, millennials face various challenges, including shifting towards more modern development, lack of commitment, and the influence of gadgets in daily life. Therefore, this initiative aims to enhance the role of the younger generation in the development of tourism in Lake Toba by conducting lectures and outreach at SMK Negeri 1 Simanindo. The proposed solutions include training, leveraging technology, and partnering with local governments. With the active involvement of Young Generations, Lake Toba is expected to become a high-quality and sustainable tourist destination, providing significant economic and social benefits to the region and the country as a whole.]]>
