Abstract

The problem of stunting adolescents in the world is currently 22.2% or about more than 150.8 million. In efforts to prevent and reduce the prevalence of stunting, it is necessary to provide education to adolescents regarding food consumption in accordance with the rules of balanced nutrition. Community service aims to foster new entrepreneurs based on science and technology, teaching skills by incorporating health sciences through digital training. The book "Balanced Nutrition for Adolescents: Prevent Stunting" has been digitally transformed and integrated into a stunting calculator application on smartphones, enabling adolescents to become content creators. Adolescents are expected to have knowledge about nutrition that will be inputted into the stunting calculator application, understand the preparation for data entry, and utilize the digitized book on a smartphone. The training took place from February to March 2023, comprising five Zoom meetings and one in-person session. There were 23 participants in the training, consisting of students and alumni from the Departments of Nutrition, Nursing, Midwifery, Medical Records, and Informatics Engineering in universities located in Riau and West Sumatra provinces. Each meeting involved assigning tasks to the participants, followed by assessment and discussion at the beginning of subsequent sessions. After the training, participants formed WhatsApp groups for communication and discussion to create content based on their respective interests. The training participants were awarded competence certificates as content creators

Abstract

Pelaksanaan program Diniyah Sahur Ramadan di Masjid Nurul Huda yang diselenggarakan oleh dosen Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram dengan tujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengamalan ajaran Islam di kalangan peserta melalui kegiatan diniyah sahur Ramadan sebagai kegiatan pendidikan luar sekolah, dengan menggunakan metode pembinaan dan pendampingan. Program ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan utama: persiapan, pelaksanaan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Pada tahap persiapan, analisis kebutuhan dilakukan melalui survei dan diskusi dengan pengurus masjid dan masyarakat setempat untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan mereka. Penyusunan rencana kegiatan yang matang, termasuk jadwal harian dan mingguan serta materi ajar, memastikan kelancaran pelaksanaan program. Dan tahap pelaksanaan dimulai dengan kegiatan pembukaan yang sederhana namun bermakna, diikuti dengan berbagai kegiatan harian seperti ceramah, tadarus, praktik ibadah, hafalan ayat pendek, belajar bahasa Arab, dan kajian sahur dan subuh. Setiap kegiatan dirancang secara interaktif dan praktis untuk memperkuat pemahaman keagamaan anak-anak, melibatkan mereka dengan antusias. Serta tahapan monitoring dan evaluasi dilakukan terus-menerus untuk memastikan partisipasi dan kemajuan peserta. Umpan balik langsung dan evaluasi mingguan membantu mengidentifikasi kekuatan dan kelemahan program, serta memberikan solusi untuk perbaikan.

Abstract

. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). yaitu penelitian yang di lakukan oleh guru di dalam kelasnya sendiri melalui refleksi diri, dengan tujuan untuk memperbaiki kinerjanya sebagai guru, sehingga hasil belajar siswa menjadi meningkat (Arikunto,2006; 4). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 3 Kopang Kelas IV dengan materi Senam pada semester I  tahun pelajaran 2018 / 2019  dengan jumlah Subyek penelitian  sebanyak 13 orang  dan hasilnya seperti yang  telihat pada  Bab  IV yaitu sebagai berikut : Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I  dengan menerapkan pola latihan berulang   diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa  adalah  67,6 pada siklus  I ketuntasan  belajar mencapai 31  % atau  4 siswa sudah tuntas belajar, dan siswa yang belum tuntas sebanyak  9  orang dengan menerapkan pola latihan berulang  diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa  85,61   pada siklus II  dengan ketuntasan  belajar mencapai 92  % atau ada  12  siswa  sudah tuntas belajar dan 1 orang belum tuntas dengan persentase sebesar 8 %., bisa memamfaatkan waktu dengan baik. Begitu juga dengan ketuntasan klasikal yang di persyaratkan  sebesar ≥ 80 sudah  tercapai maka dengan demikian penelitian ini dihentikan sampai pada siklus II. Dengan demikian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa dengan menggunakan  metode latihan berulang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar   Senam lantai  di Kelas   IV  SDN 3 Kopang tahun Pelajaran  2018 / 2019

Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Qur'an Pagutan which began implementing the independent curriculum in the 2022/2023 academic year in grades 1,2,3, and 5. MI Nurul Qur'an chose the independent option of sharing in implementing IKM by developing its own tools. MI Nurul Qur'an in preparing its teaching staff for IKM sent teachers to attend IKM training, but most of it was done bravely, so that the understanding of teachers was still limited, especially in making independent curriculum tools such as teaching modules to replace lesson plans. The purpose of the activity is to increase the understanding of madrasa teachers in implementing the independent curriculum, through seminars and interactive discussions which will be held on August 31, 2023. The implementation of this activity consists of three stages, namely preparation, seminar activities, and closing and follow-up. Madrasah teachers feel that their understanding of the independent curriculum policy is increasing, and wish to be assisted in creating independent curriculum tools.

Abstract

Kebijakan Sekolah Ramah Anak (SRA) di MIN 1 menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang nyaman, bebas dari diskriminasi dan kekerasan, serta memperkuat pendidikan karakter sesuai Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi model manajemen SRA yang efektif dalam menanamkan pendidikan karakter di MIN 1. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi bahwa model manajemen kolegial yang diterapkan melibatkan berbagai pemangku kepentingan, termasuk kepala sekolah, guru, staf, siswa, orang tua, dan masyarakat dalam setiap tahap perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi program SRA. Kolaborasi ini memastikan terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang inklusif, mendukung kesejahteraan siswa, serta membangun nilai-nilai karakter melalui proses pembelajaran yang berkelanjutan. Model manajemen kolegial ini juga berkontribusi pada penguatan pendidikan karakter, dengan menekankan pentingnya keterlibatan aktif semua pihak dalam membangun budaya sekolah yang aman, nyaman, dan menghargai hak-hak siswa sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip SRA dan Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Based on a descriptive qualitative study, this research aims to explore teachers' experiences in teaching Arabic in three Islamic-based secondary schools (MTs and MAs) in Mataram. Arabic has an important role in Islamic education, thus understanding its teaching practices is very relevant. This study specifically addresses three main aspects of the learning process, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews and classroom observations of nine purposively selected teachers. The results show that teachers use various teaching methods such as two-way interaction, audiolingual, lecture, and qira'ah which are adjusted to the characteristics of students and school conditions. Teachers also actively participate in training and discuss with peers to improve professional competence. The main challenges faced include students' low basic Arabic reading skills, limited facilities, and lack of learning motivation. To overcome this, teachers apply differentiated learning strategies, vocabulary grouping and building positive emotional relationships with students. Evaluation is done formatively and summatively by utilizing technology. The results confirm that successful teaching of Arabic requires innovation, reflection and a deep understanding of students' needs.

Abstract

Dalam belajar fonologi Arab anak mengalami kesulitan dalam artikulasi pengucapan huruf-huruf Arab seperti huruf-huruf yang hampir sama pengucapan dan artikulasinya seperti huruf ? (Shad) dan ? (Sin) ? (ha), ? (kha), ? ('ain), ? (Dzal) dan ? (Zai).  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis langkah-langkah penggunaan metode qiraati dalam pembelajaran fonologi bahasa Arab anak dan untuk mengetahui usaha peningkatan fonologi bahasa Arab anak TPQ Nurul Falah menggunakan metode qiraati. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yaitu menunjukkan langkah-langkah penggunaan metode qiraati yang terstruktur meliputi pengenalan huruf-huruf Arab secara bertahap dimulai dari pengenalan bunyi huruf rendah hingga kompleks, dengan pendekatan individual dan klasikal. Keberhasilan metode ini didukung oleh penggunaan media pembelajaran visual, sistem evaluasi berkelanjutan, dan penekanan pada ketepatan artikulasi dan penggunaan pendekatan individual dan klasikal. Usaha-usaha peningkatan kemampuan fonologi meliputi penggunaan media pembelajaran visual, evaluasi berkelanjutan, dan penekanan pada ketepatan artikulasi dan makhraj huruf-huruf Arab.

Abstract

Aging is marked by physiological and psychological changes, including diminished immune function that increases susceptibility to infections and chronic diseases. This study explores the role of Emotional Intelligence (EI) in preventing immune system dysfunction among the elderly using a mixed-methods sequential explanatory design. Quantitative data were collected through surveys assessing EI and immune biomarkers (IL-6, CRP, cortisol), while qualitative interviews explored emotional regulation strategies and perceived impacts on immune health. The results revealed a significant inverse correlation between EI levels and inflammatory markers, including IL-6 (r = -0.45, p < 0.01) and CRP (r = -0.38, p < 0.05). Participants with higher EI scores also demonstrated more stable cortisol rhythms and better vaccine response rates (p < 0.05). Results show that higher EI levels in older adults are linked to lower inflammation, greater stress resilience, and improved immune homeostasis. These findings suggest that EI acts not only as a psychological asset but also as a physiological buffer, modulating neuroimmune pathways crucial for systemic health in aging. Qualitative insights highlighted adaptive emotional regulation strategies—such as mindfulness, proactive coping, and emotional reframing—as key contributors to immune resilience. Social connectedness, self-awareness, and stress management emerged as vital components of psychological and physiological well-being. This study advocates for integrating EI-based interventions—such as mindfulness training, emotional coaching, and social-emotional learning—into geriatric care. By adopting a holistic biopsychosocial model, EI can serve as a strategic tool for enhancing immune function and overall well-being among older adults.

Abstract

A collegial management model was used in the implementation of the Child-Friendly School (CFS) policy at MIN 1 Mataram in developing character education in the Independent Curriculum, which has implications for Arabic learning management. This article presented the discover and analysis of the Arabic language learning management model in instilling character education for the Independent Curriculum at the Child-Friendly School. A qualitative approach was used with a case study method, utilizing Miles and Huberman's data analysis techniques. The analysis process began with data condensation, which involves reducing information obtained from interviews, observations, and document analyses to filter relevant data. Next, data presentation was carried out by providing information in the form of descriptive narratives that illustrate the management of Arabic language learning. Finally, conclusions were drawn by identifying patterns, themes, and relationships among the data to understand the management model in character education.The finding showed that the CFS Arabic learning management model in instilling character education for the Independent Curriculum at MIN 1 Mataram used the Deming Cycle Model PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act), integrating the Plan, Do, and Check stages with the CFS principles. In the plan stage, teachers design character-based ATPs (syllabus) and Teaching Modules (Lesson Plan), collaborate in planning, and adapt teaching materials to student needs. The Do stage involves implementing the module with a differentiated approach and learning methods that emphasize character. In Check, evaluation involves principals, teachers, and students, ensuring learning effectiveness and positive perceptions of Arabic. This process supports continuous improvement in child-friendly teaching.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman keagamaan jamaah Majlis Taklim Masjid Nurul Huda Dasan Baru dalam menyambut dan menjalani ibadah bulan suci Ramadhan. Program ini dilaksanakan oleh dosen Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram dengan menggunakan buku Tuntunan Ibadah Bulan Ramadhan sebagai panduan utama. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan dan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi. Tahap persiapan melibatkan koordinasi dengan pengurus Majlis Taklim dan masyarakat setempat untuk menyusun jadwal, memilih narasumber, serta menyusun materi yang relevan dengan kebutuhan jamaah. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, kegiatan dilakukan dalam bentuk kajian dan diskusi interaktif yang membahas puasa, salat tarawih, zakat, dan amalan sunnah lainnya, disertai sesi tanya jawab serta simulasi praktik ibadah guna memperkuat pemahaman peserta. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan mengamati partisipasi jamaah, menyebarkan kuesioner kepuasan, serta melakukan refleksi terhadap peningkatan pemahaman yang diperoleh selama kegiatan berlangsung. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman keagamaan dan partisipasi aktif jamaah dalam kegiatan keislaman. Dengan pendekatan yang komunikatif dan berbasis kebutuhan, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat berkelanjutan dan memberikan dampak positif dalam pembinaan keagamaan masyarakat.
