Jurnal Teknologi dan Manajemen Sistem Industri is an open access and peer-reviewed scientific journal published twice a year (March and September). Abstract

The rapid growth of information technology forces businesses to continuously adapt and utilize new innovations, offering solutions for operational, business, and financial challenges. However, implementing IT requires a framework to identify risks and create mitigation strategies. Despite its benefits, IT carries risks of failure and high investment costs, necessitating consistent oversight. Companies must adopt risk management practices to understand and manage these risks. The COBIT 4.1 framework helps align IT with business processes, assess and manage risks, evaluate maturity levels, and offer recommendations. This study follows a multi-stage approach, including literature review, risk identification, assessment, response planning, and maturity evaluation.

Abstract

Pasuruan City has experienced a 10.2% increase in the number of industries, with the furniture industry serving as a key driver of the local economy. The furniture sector in Pasuruan is highly developed, with production that has penetrated international markets. However, the rise of E-Commerce has rapidly transformed traditional business practices, significantly impacting conventional furniture traders in the city. This research aims to examine how E-Commerce affects these traditional traders. Using a quantitative approach, the study sampled 30 furniture business owners selected through non-probability sampling. Data was collected via a Google Form questionnaire and processed using Excel software. The findings indicate a strong and significant correlation between E-Commerce and the traditional furniture industry, showing that E-Commerce has a positive influence and offers substantial benefits to conventional furniture traders in Pasuruan City.

Abstract

In the digital age, social media is predominantly used by various groups, especially teenagers, mainly for entertainment and social connections. However, if viewed from a positive perspective, social media can also serve as a platform to create job opportunities for individuals. This study aims to examine whether social media influences the entrepreneurial interest of teenagers in Pasuruan district. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to over 100 teenage respondents in the district. The study used correlation and significance analysis techniques. The findings indicate that social media (variable X) has a strong impact on teenagers' entrepreneurial interest (variable Y) in Pasuruan district. The results reveal a significant relationship, with a correlation value of 0.725 and a coefficient of determination of 0.525, meaning 52.5% of the variation in entrepreneurial interest can be explained by social media.

Abstract

One of the main challenges faced by large companies today is meeting the growing demand for talent, as the success and sustainability of companies depend on workforce quality. Employer branding has emerged as an effective approach to attract and retain top talent in an increasingly competitive environment. This study aims to design an Employer Branding strategy for PT XYZ for the 2014-2025 period. A descriptive qualitative method was used in the form of a case study, with data sourced from both primary and secondary sources. Primary data were collected through interviews, surveys, and participant observation, while secondary data came from literature reviews. The results indicate that companies can enhance Employer Branding by analyzing gaps between the EVP values desired by candidates and the Employer Branding strategies of competitors. Future research can build upon these findings to further explore the development of Employer Branding strategies.

Abstract

The study "Navigating Change and Innovation in the Aviation Industry: A Systematic Literature Review of Transformational Leadership" examines how transformational leadership influences change management and innovation within the aviation sector. By systematically reviewing existing literature, the research evaluates current knowledge and identifies gaps for further exploration. Key findings highlight the importance of transformational and inclusive leadership in enhancing job performance, satisfaction, and organizational commitment. Despite these insights, more research is required to explore the nuanced relationship between leadership styles and employee performance. The study offers valuable guidance for leaders and policymakers aiming to boost employee engagement and satisfaction through effective leadership. This work extends the understanding of transformational leadership with a specific emphasis on its application in the aviation industry.

Abstract

This study explores the use of situational leadership in the aviation industry through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Out of 16 journals identified, 5 met the quality criteria. The results indicate that situational leadership greatly improves employee performance, particularly when supported by digital technologies that enable effective communication and real-time performance tracking. Adapting leadership styles to suit individual employee needs and dynamic work environments is critical for boosting productivity and operational efficiency. Additionally, situational leadership shows potential in enhancing safety compliance and reducing incidents compared to traditional leadership, especially when backed by strong organizational commitment and a supportive workplace culture. The study concludes that situational leadership, when properly implemented and integrated with technology, offers an effective approach to managing human resources in the aviation sector.

Abstract

A systematic review of research articles on the application of servant leadership in the aviation industry highlights its significant positive impact on both service quality and workplace safety. Servant leadership, with its emphasis on employee well-being and development, has been shown to effectively improve safety behaviors and reduce accident risks, outperforming other leadership styles such as transactional and laissez-faire. This leadership model enhances employees' sense of ownership and responsibility, leading to greater job satisfaction, motivation, communication, and teamwork. Furthermore, servant leadership contributes to a more positive work environment, increasing employee loyalty, retention, and overall operational efficiency. Therefore, implementing servant leadership in the aviation sector not only reinforces a strong safety culture but also elevates the quality of services provided to customers.

Abstract

Determining the brand of the best-selling nugget product at the Unggas Wahidin Pasuruan Stall is very important to do, because determining the best-selling product brand can predict which product brands should be sent mostly to the Unggas Wahidin Pasuruan Stall. One way that can be done is by implementing a decision support system. There are several criteria and alternative options that will be applied or chosen in selecting the best-selling product brand. Data analysis uses the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method, which allows several criteria to be selected directly by stall employees. From the sales report in June 2024, four criteria were selected to be compared, namely price, taste, quality and packaging. Meanwhile, the alternatives chosen are the Fiesta, Champ, Akumo and Asimo brands. From the selected data, after calculations, the average price criteria was 0.056702, the average taste criteria was 0.29389, the average quality criteria was 0.554904 and the average packaging criteria was 0.094504. After comparing each alternative selected, the highest result was obtained, namely the Fiesta nugget brand, which was 0.51393.

Abstract

Work-related injuries are a potential risk, including in aluminum cutting activities within UMKM producing household goods made from aluminum and glass. Assessing ergonomic postures is crucial to prevent Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). This study utilized the Nordic Body Map (NBM) and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) methods to analyze posture data. NBM focuses on identifying ergonomic variables affecting posture, while REBA evaluates the injury risk level of specific postures. The findings show that combining NBM and REBA effectively identifies high-risk postures with accuracy and highlights which body parts require follow-up. This approach proves to be effective in enhancing occupational health and safety. Applying these methods helps business owners detect and minimize ergonomic risks, contributing to improved worker safety, comfort, and well-being.

Abstract

Salah satu tantangan utama yang dihadapi oleh Klinik Pratama UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya adalah risiko reputasi dan konsep pengembangan risiko layanan, terutama di era digital saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui risiko reputasi yang dihadapi serta konsep pengembangan risiko layanan di Klinik Pratama UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya berdasarkan standar ISO 31000. Tiga tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengidentifikasi potensi risiko reputasi dan konsep pengembangan risiko layanan Klinik Pratama, (2) menganalisis kesesuaian sistem manajemen risiko yang sudah diterapkan dengan pedoman ISO 31000, dan (3) memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan dan strategi pengembangan manajemen risiko untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan risiko klinik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Klinik Pratama menghadapi beberapa potensi risiko kritis, seperti risiko operasional, kepatuhan terhadap regulasi, dan keselamatan pasien, (2) sistem manajemen risiko yang ada belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan prinsip dan pedoman ISO 31000, dan (3) rekomendasi yang diberikan meliputi peningkatan pelatihan sumber daya manusia, penyempurnaan prosedur kebijakan internal, serta pengembangan teknologi pendukung dalam manajemen risiko. Untuk membangun kepercayaan publik dan mendukung tercapainya tujuan Klinik Pratama, reputasi yang baik sangat penting. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui risiko reputasi yang terjadi pada Klinik Pratama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi kasus yang melibatkan wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala klinik Pratama, dan relawan yang berpartisipasi dalam risiko reputasi Klinik Pratama. Analisis data dilakukan melalui pendekatan fenomenologis dengan menggunakan kerangka kerja International Organization for Standardization 31000 (ISO 31000). Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengelolaan risiko reputasi yang proaktif melalui peningkatan kualitas layanan, pelatihan staf yang berkesinambungan, dan penerapan sistem penanganan keluhan yang efektif. Dengan demikian, Klinik Pratama UINSA dapat mempertahankan reputasi positifnya sebagai penyedia layanan kesehatan yang profesional dan terpercaya.
