Abstract

Livestock has an important role in improving the economy of rural communities. However, there are still obstacles faced by breeders in Kota Pari Village. The main problems are the sale of livestock, difficulties in promoting livestock or bringing livestock to traditional markets and the involvement of middlemen in the process of buying and selling livestock. Overcoming these problems, the researchers implemented the website-based Ternakloka membership application membership method. The membership method which is based on fuzzy set theory allows for more flexible classification of data into categories. This study tested the Ternakloka application using the membership method in Kota Pari Village. The results of this implementation indicate a significant increase in the availability of livestock information to potential buyers. The evaluation results show that the Ternakloka application with the membership method has succeeded in increasing efficiency and transparency in selling livestock in Kota Pari Village. With better information accessibility and implementation of a more effective marketing strategy, livestock sales have increased which has a positive impact on the economy of the farming community. This research provides evidence that the use of livestock application technology using the membership method can be an innovative solution and has the potential to improve the welfare of farmers and encourage the growth of the livestock industry in rural areas.

Abstract

Remote areas with access to steep roads and hills present challenges for the government’s establishment of power plants, but these can be overcome by utilizing alternative energy sources available in the area, such as wind, solar, and hydro energy.  In this study, we will develop a research-based hydro energy source that has been tested on a micro scale at Pasir Pengaraian University laboratory. The community-based research approach is used to meet the objectives' requirements, such as survey activities, planning, analysis, and application of the agreed-upon technology. Alternative hydro energy must be developed further to improve net-zero energy systems. As a result of this activity, the community no longer complains about electrical energy; rather, they can convert alternative energy sources into hydroelectric energy as a backup. The study's results show that a wheel with a diameter of 120 cm, a width of 40 cm, and 18 pcs of blades is able to generate 850 watts of energy with a gear and chain transmission ratio. This study allows the village to become energy independent and has the potential to improve welfare through the application of appropriate technology. It is hoped that by using this technology, the village will be able to generate their own electricity through mentorship activities

Abstract

This study explores the application of the Design Thinking approach in building a chatbot for troubleshooting and handling service network disruption complaints. Specifically, the DeepDive method IDEO developed is the main framework in the chatbot creation process.DeepDive, as a methodology that focuses on a deep understanding of user needs and creative problem-solving, allows chatbot creators to design solutions that are highly suitable for unique challenges faced by users in network services. The result is a chatbot capable of effectively handling complaints and providing timely solutions.The research results show that applying IDEO's DeepDive methodology can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of chatbots in addressing disruption complaints. This significantly contributes to improving network service quality and overall customer satisfaction. This study provides important insights for practitioners and researchers on applying Design Thinking and deep-dive methodology in creating chatbot technology.

The use of digital technology has influenced all aspects of human activities, including marketing. Digital-based marketing is used to acquire consumers, build their preferences, promote brands, maintain consumers, and increase sales which ultimately increases profits. Digital marketing allows buyers to obtain all information about products and make transactions via the internet, and allows sellers to monitor and provide for the needs and desires of prospective buyers without time and geographic limitations. Digital marketing is also a two-way communication method that can raise public awareness and engagement towards certain products and brands. The platforms that are often used for digital marketing are social media, especially WhatsApp and Instagram. Method used _ that is Work observations on Community Service in Padang Tualang Village, Langkat Regency have an important role in understanding the situation and problems that exist in the village. By using the method This, It is hoped that the Community Service team can make a significant contribution in formulate program development Which in accordance with need And potency  village.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between internal auditors' professional behavior and internal audit quality in the North Sumatra Provincial Government. Internal auditors' professional behavior, which includes ethics, independence, and integrity, is considered a critical factor that can affect audit quality. This study used a survey method and data were collected through questionnaires distributed to internal auditors who served in the provincial government agencies. The results of data analysis using descriptive statistical techniques and correlation analysis showed a significant positive relationship between the professional behavior of internal auditors and internal audit quality. It was found that internal auditors who exhibit high professional behavior tend to produce better internal audit quality. This study contributes to the practical and theoretical understanding of the factors that influence internal audit quality in the context of provincial government. The implications of the findings may assist decision makers in improving internal audit practices through enhancing the professional behavior of internal auditors. In addition, this study can serve as a foundation for further research in the field of government auditing and accounting.

Abstract

The impact of outside factors on the success of the Coffee Bean Café in Medan is the subject of this study. Additionally, information was gathered by sending out questionnaires to thirty respondents. Multiple linear regression is the model utilised, while SPSS version 19 is employed for processing. The analysis using the t test's results reveals that the dependent variable, the success of the Coffee Bean Café (Y), is partially or simultaneously impacted positively and significantly by two independent variables: the family environment (X1), friendship environment (X2), and impulse buying (X3). Price reductions and other unresearched factors account for 25% of the Biji Kopi café's performance in sustaining its company, according to the analysis utilising the coefficient of determination.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Human Resources (HR) on the development of the village economy based on Village-Owned Enterprises (Bumdes) in the Regency/City of North Sumatra. The research method used was a survey with a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The sample for this research consists of some Bumdes in North Sumatra. The results of the data analysis show that Human Resources (HR) has a significant influence on the development of the village economy through Bumdes in North Sumatra. Human resources who have adequate competence, knowledge, and skills can make a positive contribution to the management and growth of Bumdes, which in turn has an impact on improving the economy at the village level. The research results show that factors related to human resources, such as the level of education, training, and skills of Bumdes members, significantly influence the development of the village economy. A higher level of education and good training can increase the capacity and efficiency of Bumdes in managing various economic businesses at the village level. In addition, improved skills can help in business diversification and increase productivity. These findings have important implications for local governments, Bumdes, and village communities in efforts to improve village economic development. This research provides a deeper understanding of the role of human resources in supporting the development of the Bumdes-based village economy in North Sumatra. The results can become a basis for the government and related stakeholders to develop policies and programs that strengthen village human resources and support sustainable economic growth in this region. Investment is needed in human resource development through training, education, and skills development to support the growth of Bumdes and the village economy in North Sumatra.

Abstract

Lubuk larangan is an effort or activity to raise fish in a Lubuk river section whose location is determined by the community not to be taken by fish within a certain period. Lubuk The larangan has social aspects, economic aspects, environmental aspects, and tourism aspects and is the local wisdom of the people in Mandailing Natal Regency. Lubuk larangan is a hereditary activity that began in the fifties, therefore Lubuk larangan can be said to be wisdom because it has local knowledge, local intelligence, local skills, local resources, local norms and ethics, social processes, social institutions and local beauty whose management leads to community welfare. To improve local wisdom through the management of Lubuk larangan, a regional development model is needed and community empowerment has a link where development aims for the welfare of the community by organizing all aspects of life such as economic, political, social, and cultural as well as customs. The development of Lubuk The larangan in Mandailing Natal Regency still has several problems such as inconsistent management and maintenance. This can be seen from: First, the low yield of freshwater fish in Mandailing Natal Regency where in 2016 it was 1697.80 tons, in 2017 it was 1697.79 tons, and in 2018 it was 1701.46 tons. Second] the lack of professional management to manage the existence of Lubuk larangan in Mandailing Natal Regency. Third, the diversion of the function of Lubuk larangan, especially in the Batang Natal River, the condition of the river is now quite alarming, anywhere in the Batang Natal River and its surroundings there is a Gold Mine. The purpose of this research was to find novelty, analyze, and provide empirical evidence that the Lubuk larangan on management models has a significant effect on regional development through community empowerment in Mandailing Natal Regency. The research method used in this research is quantitative research which is a causal relationship (causal effect). Respondents in this study amounted to 389 people. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire with the help of the SPSS AMOS 26 program in managing primary data. The results showed that the Lubuk management model larangan had a significant and positive effect on regional development with an estimated value of 0.667 and a P-value of 0.000 < 0.05. Furthermore, there is a significant influence of the management of Lubuk larangan on community empowerment with an estimated value of 0.987 and P-value 0.001 < 0.05. Next, the research findings show that there is a significant effect of community empowerment on regional development with an estimate of 0.396 and p-value 0.025 < α = 0.05. The final test shows that there is a significant influence of the Lubuk larangan management model on regional development through community empowerment in Mandailing Natal Regency. Thus, overall the total effect of the Lubuk Larangan management variable on regional development is 0.391 + 0.396 = 0.787 or 78.7% of the influence of management. Lubuk larangan on regional development indirectly through the community empowerment variable compared to directly which was 0.667 or 66.7%

Abstract

Functional review is an administrative tool aimed at reducing asset misuse. The first step in the Operational Audit process is to see whether activities exist or not, find areas that can be improved, then create measurable performance standards for each activity. A service or product will be sold by a company. The process of selling a company's services or products is known as sales. This research aims to show empirically that the sales effectiveness of PT. Angkasa Pura II can be improved through operational audits. This research is quantitative. consequences of this exploration. There was no interaction between variables in this study. The importance of this influence is demonstrated by previous research. A functional review alone is sufficient, this must be seen from the ability of the examiner, the review program that has been completed is prepared first before the functional review is carried out, so that the functional review carried out is a functional review carried out to achieve the stated objectives. Objectively, because PT is the company, this research has no effect. The reason is, the Lintasit Angkasa Pura II branch does not sell products, but rather a service business.

Abstract

This paper investigates the implementation of white hat SEO (search engine optimization) techniques to promote village potential products online, using the case study of coconut distributors in Kebun Kelapa Village, Medan, Indonesia. The specific SEO techniques explored include keyword optimization, quality content creation, meta tag and description refinement, alt text for images, internal linking between related posts, and optimizing for mobile devices. Initial results show that targeted keyword usage, organizing site structure, and highlighting unique value propositions in content can effectively improve site visibility and search engine rankings. Further analysis on user engagement and lead generation conversion is still required. Adoption of white hat SEO strategies has promising potential for rural businesses to expand their reach via digital platforms.
