Dharmawangsa International Journal of The Social Sciences, Education and Humanities is a journal published by the Research Institute of Dharawangsa University, Medan. Articles published in this journal are articles that examine the fields of social science, law, economics, sociology, education, and Humanities. both in the form of conceptual, research findings, books and biographies of figures. The languages used in this journal are English and Arabic. Without reducing scientific weight, this journal accepts written contributions that have never been published in other print media. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work environment and career development on employee performance at PT. PLN Nusantara Power UMRO UPHK Medan. The research method used quantitative data. The results of this study indicate that the significant value of the work environment variable (X1) is smaller than the probability value of 0.05, or a value of 0.000 <0.05, then Ha is accepted H0 is rejected. Variable X1 has a tcount value (8.186) greater than ttable (1.9869). So it can be concluded that the work environment partially has an influence and is significant on employee performance. The significant value of the career development variable (X2) is smaller than the probability value of 0.05, or a value of 0.000 <0.05, then Ha is accepted H0 is rejected. Variable X2 has a tcount value (8.306) greater than ttable (1.9869). So it can be concluded that career development partially has an influence and is significant on employee performance. Fcount value = 146.393 > Ftable 3.10 with a significance value of 0.001 smaller than 0.05. So it can be concluded that simultaneously the work environment and career development affect employee performance at PT. PLN Nusantara Power UMRO UPHK Medan. The R Square value has a value of 0.767. Thus, the contribution of the current ratio of the work environment (X1) and career development (X2) to profitability is 76.7% and the remaining 23.3% is influenced by other independent factors or variables.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of material control and operational effectiveness on operational performance at PT. Dutaraya Sejati in Medan. The type of data is quantitative and the data source for this research is primary data in the form of a questionnaire. The research population is employees at PT. Dutaraya Sejati in Medan during 2023 as many as 208 people and the sample studied was 137 using random sampling technique. The data analysis technique uses the multiple linear regression method. The partial research results show that material control has a partial effect on operational performance at PT. Dutaraya Sejati Medan because the value of tcount (10.472) > ttable (1.97769) or a significance value of 0.000 is less than 0.05. And operational effectiveness partially influences operational performance because the value of tcount (5.297) > ttable (1.97769) or a significance value of 0.000 is less than 0.05. The research results simultaneously show that the variables of material control and operational effectiveness have a partial effect on operational performance because the value of Fcount (140.293) > Ftable (3.06) or or a significance value of 0.000 is less than 0.05.PT. Dutaraya Sejati in Medan must pay more attention to operational effectiveness in improving operational performance, so that company employees can complete work within the time set by the company. Keywords: Material Control, Operational Effectiveness, Operational Performance

Abstract

Problem identification in this study is the existence of competitors with similar products. The marketing strategy carried out is still not right in increasing sales, sales instability and sales targets have not been achieved. This type of research uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use SWOT analysis by analyzing internal and external factors regarding the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats owned by the company. The results of the study were based on SWOT analysis at Printmate Indonesia Ltd. in Medan showed that the company obtained an IFAS score of 72.78 USD which means that the company has a fairly strong internal position, while the EFAS score value of 75.45 USD which shows that the company can respond to opportunities. This shows that the company is in quadrant I, so the right strategy is to use a strategy to support aggressive growth policies (growth oriented strategy).

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of loan eligibility and repayment capacity on CU bad credit levels. Harapan Kita Belawan. The data collection techniques for this research are observation, questionnaires and documentation studies with data analysis techniques, namely multiple linear regression analysis. The conclusion in this research is that there is the influence of loan eligibility partially on the level of bad credit at CU. Harapan Kita Belawan, this is known as the t valuecount as big as 4,818 which compared to the t table of 1.66055 then 4.818 > 1.66055 which means the loan eligibility variable has a real (significant) and positive influence on the bad credit level variable. Besides that there is an influence on the ability to pay partially on the level of bad credit at CU. Harapan Kita Belawan, this is known as the tcount amounting to 18,086 Which compared to ttable  is 1.66055 then 18.086 > 1.66055 which means the ability to pay variable has a real (significant) and positive influence on the bad credit level variable. Next there is the influence of loan eligibility and ability to pay simultaneously on the level of bad credit at the CU Cooperative. Our Hope Against this is known from the F valuecount = 200.015 which is compared to Ftable of 3.09 then 200.015 > 3.09 which means the loan eligibility variable and ability to pay simultaneously has a real (significant) or positive influence on the variable level of bad credit.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of interpersonal communication and service quality on user satisfaction at Medan State University. This research uses effective understanding in interpersonal communication and finds out what influence users have in visiting the library at Medan State University. This data collection technique is through observation and documentation. This data analysis technique uses thematic analysis. In providing services, librarians must foster positive, transparent and interpersonal relationships by providing services that make librarians very happy when visiting the library. Communication is a very important factor in working between humans and other people in the work environment, for example between employees in the same position or employees in different positions. The aim of this research is to obtain information or feedback and improve user-friendly services, which is a form of collaboration between users and librarians to understand the aims and objectives. It is concluded that librarians can be defined as library employees who are intended to provide services to the public or library users, based on knowledge obtained through training, literature and library information.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing strategy for people's interest in buying in the Medan Denai area for this Baba Parfum product. The data collection technique chosen to process the data is qualitative, which is given a form and made to be selected as a sample of 25 respondents. The data collection method is in the form of a questionnaire. Baba Parfum, a local perfume brand that adopts a management system that involves a team network in their product sales efforts. This network system has proven effective in increasing sales of Baba Parfum products. Marketing strategy by mastering social media to see the products marketed as many as 93.5% of consumers are satisfied with the digital marketing of Baba Parfum and its marketing strategy. Consumers also use payment technology such as e-money through Gopay Ovo, and funds can be seen that consumers know the product in the era of digital marketing and sales that are developing well. Therefore, the development of Baba Parfum products in the current era has a great influence on the company's profitability so that the selling price is quite good and is able to attract consumers.

Abstract

Every company has an interest in providing information to consumers and offering a variety of product types and the best prices.Price is also one wayto increase the number of customers. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of product type on consumer purchasing decisions at PT. Benelli Anugerah Motor Pusaka in Medan. To determine the effect of price on consumer purchasing decisions at PT. Benelli Anugerah Motor Pusaka in Medan. To determine the effect of product type and price on consumer purchasing decisions at PT. Benelli Anugerah Motor Pusaka in Medan. The data analysis techniques used are validity test, normality test and multiple linear regression. The sample studied was 92 respondents. The results of this study obtained the significance value of product type on purchasing decisions based on the t test obtained tcount> ttable (2.024> 1.661961) H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion: there is a significant influence of product type on purchasing decisions. From the results of this study, the significance value of price based on the t test obtained tcount> ttable (6.778> 1.661961). The conclusion: then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, there is a significant influence of price on purchasing decisions. Based on the results of the F test above, the Fcount value> Ftable of (146.319>2.36) was obtained, which means that the product type and price variables simultaneously have a real (significant) influence or have a positive influence on the purchasing decision variable.
