Abstract

An alternative excavation of natural materials that could potentially be used as a substancedyes, continue to be made, including the skin of red dragon fruit. Because the red dragon fruit latelya lot of public interest, skin which amounts to 30-35% is often just discarded as waste only.In an effort to use the red dragon fruit peel waste that is not optimal, to increase the economicvalue of the skins of red dragon fruit and power use for the community.The goal is to mengetehaui type of pigment and pigment quality of dragon fruit red on someshelf with different types of solvents.This research used Randomized Design Group (RAK) Factorial consisting of two factors I;comprised of over 4 levels; factor II consisted of 3 level. Factor I: The Fruit Store (S), fresh (day0), the shelf life of fruit 2 days, 4 days and 8 days, whereas the second factor: the type of solvent(L), namely aquades; combination aquades and citric acid (9:1), and a combination Eeanol 1N andcitric acid (9:1).The results showed that the skin of red dragon fruit (Hylocereus costaricensis) containinganthocyanin type ramnosil sianidin 3-glucoside 5 - glucoside, based on Rf values (retrogradationfactor) of 0.36 to 0.38 and maximum absorbance at a wavelength with ë = 536.4 nm. Combinationtreatment S2P2 (the shelf life of fruit 4 days with solvent water and citric acid) produce anthocyaninpigments of red dragon fruit skin with the best quality, with a pH value of 1.91; the brightness (L)25.60; level of redness (a +) 6.97; the yellow (+ b) 0.50, 0.363 pigment absorbance; levels ofanthocyanin 1.1 mg/100ml; total dissolved solids 66.52% and 10.02% yield.

Abstract

One of centrale of home industry in Malang is UD. BJ Mendit on Mendit Barat, Kec. Pakis withit?s roof production process. From the observation that the researcher do into UD. BJ Mendit,finded that the production process had been doing often with technical and non technical problemsthat make some failed roof product. Purposes of this research are identifying types of roof failedproduct, analysing main cause of roof failed product with Pareto diagram. From the steps had done,finded that the biggest failed criterion is keropos. Keropos is caused by lack of skill and correctnessof worker on processing the raw material, can also caused by process execution which not fullycorret so that produce critical process to be repaired first to increase the quality of Mendit?s roof.

Abstract

Las SAW merupakan bentuk pengelasan yang banyak digunakan untuk fabrikasi pipa, misalnya pipa spiral. Luasnya pemakaian las SAW disebabkan karena pengelasan dapat dilakukan secara otomatis dan memiliki keandalan yang tinggi. Ketangguhan las dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor diantaranya masukan panas, kuat arus, filler dan fluks, kecepatan las dan laju pendinginan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini dimaksudkan  untuk mendapatkan struktur mikro berupa ferit acicular yang dapat memberikan kekuatan tinggi dan nilai kekerasan yang rendah dari sambungan las. Hal ini dilakukan dengan membuat variasi  heat input pada pengelasan.  Percobaan dilakukan menggunakan bahan Baja API 5L X-52 dengan variasi kuat arues pada arus DC 800 Amper, 825 Amper, 850 Amper, 875 Amper and 900 Amper pada pengelasan pipa spiral di bagian luar, dengan kecepatan pengelasan 13,67 mm/s dan Tegangan 35 volt. Pengujian meliputi pengamatan mikro struktur dan ketangguhan.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi penggunaan kuat arus dapat meningkatkan jumlah presentase ferit acikular dan meningkatkan nilai ketangguhan.

This watchfulness is carried out at TrisulaResort nature forest of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, broadly 5.222,737 ha, in June 2011.The methods that used is stripe method federation and line compartment method so that instripes made sample terracing. The vast sample compartment to each growth level covers: seedlingof the size compartment 2 x 2 m, saplings of the size compartment 5 x 5 m, pole or little tree of thesize compartment 10 x 10 m, and tree of the size compartment 20 x 20 m. And then in this compartmentdone kind identification, total, count diameter (dbh), and tall.The forest vegetation structure at Trisula Resort of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park inseveral blocks that is Amprong, Jarak Ijo and Coban Trisula, show tropical forest generality, wheredoes tree closeness of the size smaller always higher compared of the size larger ones tree. Conditonbe dinamic cycle existence instruction as tropical forests individuality in general. Recorded as muchas 178 species from 77 kins in sample as big as 0.208 ha, several found flora endemic BTN-BTS likeMagnolia blumei PRANTL, Cyathea tenggerensis (R.) Copel, and Cephaelis ipecachuanha TUSSAC.While formation and forest composition in ngadas block show secondary forest conditon. in thisblock chockablock ground covers has expansive and flame resistant like Imperata cylndrica L. ,Eupatorium odoratum L., and many kind of Scrubs. Strightened kinds like Casuarina junghuhnianaMiq. , Acacia decurrens Willd. , Albizia lophanta (Willd)., and Vaccinium varingifolium (Bl.) Miq.,be kinds general are met at these area. Then highest important values that has by several kinds ineach block, show that kinds has part level or big importance as the communities compositioncomposers part. The highest kind of variety level for stage seedlings up to tree that by variety indexin Coban Trisula block, that is in tree as big as 3,7, with similiarity as big as 0,95, furthermore inpole as big as 3,56 with similiarity as big as 1, then in pole as big as 3,3 with similiarity as big as 0,9and latest in seedling with value 2,8 with similiarity index as big as 1, while highest kind unity levelfor ground covers found in block amprong with value 3,53 and similiarity index as big as 0,89.Keyword : Professionalism, dedication to professionalism, professionalism standard, autonomy socialobligation and community affiliation

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji perbedaan respon tiga varietas jagung manis terhadap pemberian beberapa jenis pupuk organik, sehingga dapat diketahui varietas jagung manis yang tumbuh dan menghasilkan tongkol yang baik, sekaligus mengetahui jenis pupuk organik yang berpengaruh paling baik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa interaksi antara perlakuan varietas dan macam pupuk organik tidak berpengaruh nyata pada semua peubah yang diamati. Berarti tidak ada perbedaan respon dari tiga varietas jagung manis yang diuji pada perlakuan macam pupuk, karena ketiga varietas tersebut mempunyai pola pertumbuhan dan memberikan hasil panen yang sama pada tiap perlakuan macam pupuk yang diberikan.

In this case the infant incubator is one tool that can help the newborn to adapt with the outside world, because the conditions in the womb to the outside world is very different, especially at a temperature problem. So with regular heating system so the baby can adapt to the transition period.Therefore, newborns should be helped to adjust to the new environment by putting them into the incubator. Infant incubator temperature is slowly lowered so that it can make the baby feel comfortable. In order for your baby comfortable at room temperature, then the distribution must evenly in incubator. To determine the pattern of temperature distribution in the incubator at my research will provide solutions to design and create an  incubator temperature distribution based on the simulation results based on numerical approach with Matlab programKeywords: incubator, distribution, matlab

The research was done at Ambang Sub-Watershed in Batu, East Java, Indonesia on February-April 2014. Collecting data was done by quessionaire. Research method consist of three steps. The first step was evaluating society participation in Ambang sub-watershed management. The second step was evaluating Ambang sub-watershed performance. Watershed performance consist of one indicator: sediment rate. The third step was finding relationship model between society participation and Ambang sub-watershed performance. The model was built by regression. Society participation in Ambang watershed management was enough. 49 % of society have moderate participation. Ambang watershed rate sediment is 0.458 ? 1.373 mm/an and in good category. Society participation affected on Ambang sub-watershed performance. Society participation in Ambang sub-watershed management was poor. Model of relationship between society participation and Ambang sub-watershed rate sediment was Y = 0,55 ? 0,67 X. Keywords: society participation, Ambang, sub-watershed, management ABSTRAKTujuan dari pekerjaan ini adalah untuk menemukan model hubungan antara partisipasi masyarakat dan kinerja sub-DAS Ambang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Ambang Sub-DAS di Batu, Jawa Timur, Indonesia pada Februari-April 2014. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan quessionaire. Metode penelitian terdiri dari tiga langkah. Langkah pertama adalah mengevaluasi partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sub-DAS Ambang. Langkah kedua adalah mengevaluasi kinerja sub-DAS Ambang. Kinerja DAS terdiri dari satu indikator: tingkat sedimen. Langkah ketiga adalah menemukan model hubungan antara partisipasi masyarakat dan kinerja sub-DAS Ambang. Model ini dibangun oleh regresi. Partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan DAS Ambang cukup. 49% masyarakat memiliki partisipasi moderat. Ambang tingkat DAS sedimen adalah 0,458-1,373 mm / sebuah dan dalam kategori baik. Partisipasi masyarakat yang terkena dampak pada kinerja sub-DAS Ambang. Partisipasi masyarakat dalam Ambang manajemen sub-DAS adalah miskin. Terusan Siguragura c/4 MalangEmail: thuthul17@yahoo.comABSTRACTDairy farms in this region are the type of people that still is conventional, with the ownershipof dairy cows and the hereditary possession of the scale of 1-5 tail, only about 2% of the ownershipscale possess more than 5 individuals. The results are expected to use the data for a policy in thedevelopment of dairy cattle in the future to related parties (Department of Animal Husbandry) andwho needs it. The research method used was a survey, by means of direct interviews with respondentsto the questionnaire reference to primary data, and supporting data from relevant agencies (KUBEPSP Forward Steady and Pecan Village Office) as supporting data or secondary data.The results of this study reported that 72% of villagers Pecan livelihood as dairy farmers, 47%of dairy farmers in the village are in the productive age Pecan 26-45 years, but the level of theaverage dairy cow ownership of selected samples only 1-2 tail. Rerta milk production of each parentabout 7.9 liters per day, the quality of the milk produced has memmenuhi ISO standard, the averagefat content of 3.5 and above and protein 2.5 and above, whereas about 11% TS .. The success rateof AI (Artificial Insemination) in the category of fairly good at around 67%. Constraints in dairycattle breeding is limited to the amount of water and forage in the dry season were replaced with theaddition konsntrat and sugarcane shoots, so it becomes a problem in the decline in the quality andmilk production.The conclusion of this is penlitian Pecan Village is a central area of dairy cows in the Jabung,East Malang msih farm business is conventional, but it is the principal source of income is not asideline business, because almost 70% of the population depends perahnya cattle business in meetingsoial economic needs. Suggestions to consider is the need for attention from stakeholders especiallylocal governments, related facilities and infrastructure development related livestock water facilitiesand scale of livestock ownership for farmers to increase the welfare of the people as well as a touchof food technology for continuous availability.
