One of the important components which determine the quality of education is the quality of instructional process. A qualified instructional process is characterized by the involvement of all instructional aspects, namely; human resources, material, media, and also the environment where the instructional process takes place, (Mukhid, 2007). All of those instructional aspects need to be accommodated by an appropriate method in order to make them effective. An instructional method that is proved effective in improving the instructional process is Project-Based Learning (PBL). This method of teaching and learning would facilitate the students with the instructional process that accommodate the students’ creativity and potentials. PBL provides authentic challenges and choices of processes in accomplishing the task. The teacher guides the students as a facilitator while the students do the project using their individual initiative. Moreover, individual initiative which is different in every student then empowers the team work to get the expected goal (Liegel, 2004). Finally, the instructional syllabus should first be constructed to implement PBL effectively that could accommodate all of its advantages. This article would elaborates the application of EFL syllabus that is made based on PBL method. The syllabus was applied in Applied English Class of Religious Education Department, IHDN Denpasar. The findings highlight both benefits and shortcomings of this type of syllabus and also emphasize the importance of Project-Based Syllabus in improving the quality of instructional process.

Lately, characters become very serious conversation. Various Portals of Government Agencies which are associated with education makes the characters as the project theme of national seminars. In a variety of social media will very often be found articles related to the characters. This is because the Indonesian Government is anxious to see the reality of nation’s community mental which is experiencing a crisis and moral degradation. Cases of corruption and human tragedy that were done by those who are supposedly literate even become a spectacle on various TV stations. It encourages the government of Indonesia sought to reformulate the National Education Goals as outlined in UUSPN No. 20 of 2003 Article 3. That article states that education aims to develop students' potential to become a human of faith and piety to God Almighty, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, skilled, creative, independent, and become democratic and accountable citizens to the community and nationality. All are then formulated into 18 (eighteen) grains of the noble values of the nation then called the values of the character as a means to build the nation's character. Although the Indonesian government has formulated 18 characters to build the nation's character, but various groups, community leaders and academics are still eager to participate to complement the Government's thoughts. This article shall discuss a book by national Hindu leaders, namely Ngakan Putu Putra, a comprehensive work explored in the literature that explores the Bhagavadgita which discusses 27 (twenty-seven) character value that gives hope for the realization of the nation's character.

With the development aspects of psychology including psychological study, through many discussion groups, came the thoughts more carefully. In psychology study clearly a critical component that needs high attention also besides the cognitive aspects, in particular cognitive processes. Important aspects or components of it are the components of knowledge or knowledge learned. Each knowledge or science has important characteristics to consider in studying it. There may be the same traits in two different sciences, even though not all the same characteristics. In Hindu religious subjects, for example, many objects are abstract and immediate assessment using deductive reasoning. At this time has successfully developed a rich taxonomy of value-based tri kaya parisudha by Parmajaya, taxonomy was named Taxonomy Tri Kaya Parisudha. Taxonomy is expected to be used as a measurement of psychological for teachers to gauge the level of bhakti sradha (belief and trust) Hindu students

The substances of the views of the some figures depicted in the Lifelong Learning Policies, Practices, And Programs, especially the ones found on Chapter 11 to 15 mostly describe the relation between the school education, families, and society. They are in accordance with the Indonesian Government Regulation No20/2003 on the national system of Indonesian education that regulate its informal, formal and nonformal sectors. The least attended nonformal one has actually equal charge, namely providing the best education to the society.

The Hulu Apad is a sporadic traditional Balinese organisation that is developing mainly in highland areas of the island. This writing studies the traditional Pakraman system of the organisation when seen from the Indonesian governmental democratic point of view, namely the process of deciding the system, the main task, and the function of every representation of the organisation at a village.

Professionalism to the demands of each profession. Without exception the teaching profession who daily deal with the nation's future children with a variety of characteristics of each are not the same. The understanding and application of ethical values are essential in providing excellent service to the community. One kind of success of an institution is when it is able to provide excellent service to the community. Tat TvamAsi is one ofHindu philosophies that is loaded with ethical or moral values, it means that "he/she (him/her) is you." To provide excellent service, then it is highly needed innovations and efforts so that the goals can be realized as well. By applying the teachings of Tat TvamAsi, then ASN will realize that in fact we are all the same, then there will be no discrimination in providing services. IHDN is also one of the educational institutions that seek to improve quality in order to attract people to become members of the great family of this institute. To attract people and gain the trust of society, one of the efforts that can be done is to improve the quality of service in IHDN Denpasar. Tat Tvam Asi-based services could be a new innovation to improve the environmental quality of service in IHDN Denpasar.

Restoring the quality of the education cannot be separated from the role of the educators. The quality here refers to the attitudes, values, norms, and system that are shared within the institution to produce quality graduates. The educators are to create the conducive atmosphere at schools, which requires competence in class managemenet. The Hindu classes teach the students to be active in order to meet the standard quality of the education therefore reach the vision and fulfill mission of the institution.

Harmony is a dream for every household that are nurtured with love, compassion, and sincerity. In improving household harmony a grounding Hindu religion as guidance is needed. Household harmony is a state of peace, good, friendly, united hearts, agreement that occur in a family life with overcome differences of opinion and differences of understanding.
