Abstract

The crime of sexual exploitation of children is a serious crime that violates the dignity, honor, and human rights of children as part of the nation's future generation. Children are a vulnerable group that requires special legal protection, as emphasized in Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection. This study aims to analyze the legal regulations regarding the crime of sexual exploitation of children, the application of the law in Decision Number 109/Pid.Sus/2024/PN.Jkt.Sel, as well as obstacles and solutions in law enforcement in Indonesia. The research method used is normative juridical with a statutory and case approach. Data were obtained through a literature study of laws and regulations, legal literature, and analysis of court decisions that are the object of the study. The results of the study indicate that the crime of sexual exploitation of children has been expressly regulated in Article 76D and Article 76E in conjunction with Article 76E. Article 81 and Article 82 of the Child Protection Law, with a maximum prison sentence of 15 years and a maximum fine of IDR 5,000,000,000. In Decision Number 109/Pid.Sus/2024/PN.Jkt.Sel, the Panel of Judges declared the defendant legally and convincingly proven to have committed sexual exploitation of children, thus imposing a prison sentence in accordance with applicable provisions. The judge's considerations were based on evidence in the form of witness statements, victim statements, evidence, and the defendant's statement that were mutually consistent, in accordance with the evidentiary system in the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP). The conclusion of this study is that the application of the Child Protection Law in cases of sexual exploitation of children has been carried out in accordance with the provisions, although in practice there are still obstacles, such as limited psychological assistance for victims, lack of public understanding, and cultural factors that often make victims reluctant to report.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the differences in the parameter estimation results of the ARIMA(0,1,2) model with Gamma-distributed residuals using two statistical approaches, namely Maximum Likelihood (ML) and Bayesian. The ML estimation results show that the parameters MA(1) ≈ 0.0028 and MA(2) ≈ 0.0370 are very small, indicating that the influence of the previous residuals on daily JCI changes is relatively weak after the differencing process. The Gamma shape parameter of 3.7368 reflects residuals that tend to be symmetrical. The Neg Log-Likelihood value of 1350.98 produces an AIC of 2707.96 as an indicator of model fit. In contrast, the Bayesian approach provides estimates of MA(1) ≈ 0.25 and MA(2) ≈ 0.15 which are larger than ML, reflecting estimates that consider parameter uncertainty through the posterior distribution. The resulting Gamma parameters (α ≈ 3, β ≈ 0.015) show positive residual characteristics with moderate variations.

Abstract

This study examines students' perspectives on plagiarism, academic integrity, and AI-generated plagiarism in the context of AI-assisted academic dishonesty. The use of semi-structured interviews with five university students, who were caught employing AI tools in their study, helps to clarify how tech advancements and academic pressures get intertwined in students' lives for making decisions and giving their ethical opinions. The results indicate that students, in general, have a clear line between AI-produced text and conventional plagiarism, regarding AI as a positive facilitator and not a negative source of misconduct. Their view of academic honesty is shaped by the amount of work, the fear of not performing well, and the unclear rules from the university concerning the use of AI that is acceptable. The same students also mentioned that the AI's power of convenience, fast processing, and personal contact made the misuse of it very easy and also helped to gain acceptance of it among friends. Eventually, the study assert that the problem of AI-assisted dishonesty can only be solved through a combination of institutions' clearer policies, institutions' supportive learning environments, and teachers' practices that responsible and ethically integrate AI in higher learning.

Abstract

This is a case study concerning the path to profitability of the GoTo Group in 20222024. The study follows a quantitative descriptive research design and uses secondary data retrieved in reference to audited financial statements, annual reports, and presentations made to investors, to make an integrated financial model to indicate the key drivers behind the improvement in Adjusted EBITDA. Results show that GoTo achieved a significant profitability turnaround with Adjusted EBITDA improving by IDR 16.34 trillion from negative IDR 16.01 trillion (2022) to positive IDR 0.33 trillion (2024). Three reinforcing levers drove this improvement: (1) monetization uplift with net take-rate rising from 1.85% to 2.95%, (2) subsidy rationalization with promotions declining from 2.97% to 0.53% of Core GTV, and (3) fixed cost efficiency maintained at 44.84% of net revenue. Scenario analysis demonstrates that profitability sustainability exists within a narrow operating corridor. The study establishes quantified profitability guardrails: promotion intensity ≤0.59% of Core GTV, net take-rate ≥2.84%, and fixed opex ≤46.91% of net revenue. This study recommends implementing guardrail-based governance to maintain profitability while growing Core GTV without returning to subsidy-dependent growth.

Abstract

Individuals have the chance to show themselves in a different way through online self presentation. When people have a clear self concept, they are more likely to express themselves online in a way that is consistent with who they are. People can experiment with their identities by using anonymous accounts on social media, which gives them more freedom to express themselves without worrying about unfavorable social reactions. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how self concept clarity affects people who express themselves online, especially those who use anonymous social media accounts. A quantitative approach to data analysis utilizing basic linear regression is the research methodology employed. 162 individuals who completed a Google Forms questionnaire made up the sample. The Self Concept Clarity Scale and the Presentation of Online Self Scale (POSS) were the scales employed in this investigation. With the regression equation Y=80.154-0.757X, the results demonstrate that self-concept clarity strongly contributes in a negative direction to online self-presentation by 19.4% (R²=0.194, p=0.000<0.05). This shows that the more uncertain or low the clarity of an individual's self, the greater the individual's tendency to build a new image or persona so that the online self presentation behavior shown is higher.

Abstract

The study focuses on the redesign of a workflow related to the use of AI to produce content on Instagram to enhance the time-consumption, stability, and reliability of services provided to SME clients in Pallas Creative, a digital marketing agency. Because SMEs are starting to depend on Instagram as a source of awareness creation and a sales driving tool, the agencies are supposed to produce the necessary content in a timely and consistent way, but real-life issues like the incongruity of briefs, rewrites, and ineffective coordination tend to cause delays, rewrites, and inconsistent lead time. Thus, the inquiry that the proposed study is responding to is as follows: what can be done to design and implement an AI empowered content production workflow that would be less inefficient but remain efficient to the content quality and client satisfaction in an agency and SME environment? The qualitative Design science Research approach used in the study is backed by Business process management. Semi structured interviews were used to get the data with internal stakeholders into content operations and SME client representative integrated with observations and internal records. The as is workflow was mapped with the help of BPMN finding bottlenecks and revision loops, and the findings were structured with the help of the thematic analysis and root cause analysis and which were further translations into design requirements and principles in order to create the proposed workflow artifact. The findings include the information that the primary types of inefficiencies must be considered systemic (such as short ambiguity and weaponization of assets), but the approval and revision processes are prolonged and hindered by fragmented feedback, and operational end of a thread due to role dependency and frequent emergency demands. According to them, the suggested AI facilitates workflow introduces, introduces clearer governance about the revision and approval of any work in a single gate approval and structured feedback, centralized tracking and versioning as a single source of solidity, a dual-lane production flow of planned and momentum content flow, and human-in-the-loop AI support with short development and ideating drafting and quality checks. In general, this paper gives a viable workflow map that can assist organizations attending to SMEs to streamline lead time and rework and still maintain consistency and reliability of services.

Abstract

The rapid diffusion of AI-enabled conversational agents has transformed how firms design digital marketing interfaces and customer engagement strategies. Over the past five years, research has increasingly examined the role of anthropomorphism in shaping consumer responses to chatbots, particularly concerning attribution processes, trust formation, and loyalty-related behaviors. However, empirical findings remain inconsistent due to variation in theoretical foundations, operational definitions, and methodological approaches. This systematic literature review synthesizes peer-reviewed studies published between 2022 and 2025 across marketing, information systems, communication, psychology, and human–AI interaction. Following PRISMA 2020 guidelines, this study analyzed 118 eligible articles from Scopus, Web of Science, and ScienceDirect using a multi-stage screening protocol, thematic coding, and qualitative meta-synthesis. The review reveals three dominant theoretical clusters—computers-are-social-actors (CASA), social presence theory, and agency-attribution theory—each producing different predictions about how anthropomorphic cues influence trust and loyalty outcomes. The findings highlight that perceived agency and perceived humanness function as dual-route mechanisms in consumer evaluation, while trust operates as a central mediator linking chatbot design to behavioral intentions. Despite growing interest, several gaps remain, including limited longitudinal evidence, fragmented methodological designs, and weak integration of cross-cultural perspectives. This SLR proposes an integrative conceptual model and outlines future research directions for AI-based customer experience management.

Abstract

Employee performance plays a pivotal role in determining the operational success and competitiveness of a company. At CV Payu Rasa Indonesia, sustaining high employee performance requires understanding the key factors that influence it, including compensation, work environment, recognition, and employee engagement. This study aims to examine the positive and significant effects of these four strategic areas on employee performance. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed, using a survey distributed to 100 employees selected through purposive sampling. The data were collected using a Google Form questionnaire based on a five-point Likert scale. The collected data underwent validity and reliability testing, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The study is grounded in motivational and organizational behavior theories, which posit that employees’ performance outcomes are shaped by both tangible rewards and psychological engagement factors. The results reveal that compensation, work environment, recognition, and employee engagement each have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. The regression model yields an R² value of 0.759, indicating that the four variables collectively explain 75.9% of the variation in employee performance. Among these, compensation emerges as the most influential factor. These findings highlight the importance for the company to provide fair and competitive compensation, ensure a conducive work environment, implement structured recognition programs, and strengthen employee engagement to drive sustained performance improvements.

Abstract

Vocational education in Visual Communication Design (VCD) faces challenges in bridging the school curriculum with the dynamic demands of industry 4.0. Vocational high school (SMK) students, as future creative talents, often master basic technical skills but are reported to lack conceptual depth, industry insight, and mature creative vision. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to improve the fundamental and practical photography competencies of 32 VCD students from SMKN 8 Kota Jayapura. The method used was a two-day interactive workshop (November 10-11, 2025) with a quasi-experimental one-group pre-test/post-test design. The intervention included theory sessions (exposure triangle, composition, professional ethics) and intensive practice sessions simulated based on client briefs (model photography and product photography). Data was collected using pre-test and post-test questionnaires as well as qualitative observations. The results of the intervention showed significant effectiveness. Participants' average comprehension scores jumped from 32.58% on the pre-test to 59.73% on the post-test, representing an absolute increase of 27.15 percentage points. Detailed analysis revealed clear learning disparities: directly visualized technical-practical concepts (e.g., Aperture or 'Bokeh') experienced a dramatic increase (+55 percentage points), while professional-abstract concepts (e.g., Ethics or 'Model Release') remained challenging with the lowest final scores (23%). It is concluded that the "Capturing Vision, Building Work" workshop method is highly effective in improving technical photography skills. However, these findings highlight the need for stronger integration between professional ethics and hands-on practice in future VCD pedagogy.from each macroinvertebrate species towards environmental conditions.

Abstract

The rental process of badminton courts in Sengonbugel, Mayong, Jepara is still predominantly conducted manually, such as by visiting the location directly or through communication media like telephone and WhatsApp. This manual process often leads to various problems, including limited access to court schedule information, the risk of double booking due to the absence of an integrated recording system, and inefficiencies in administrative procedures for both users and court managers. This study aims to design and develop a web-based badminton court rental information system that facilitates online reservation, provides real-time court availability information, and assists managers in managing rental data, schedules, and transactions in a more structured manner. The research method consists of system requirements analysis, system design, and system implementation. The system is developed using the Laravel framework with MySQL as the database management system. The features provided include court booking, schedule and rental duration selection, payment proof upload, and an admin dashboard for managing courts, bookings, and schedules. The results show that the web-based badminton court rental information system is able to improve the efficiency of the rental process, reduce recording errors and the occurrence of double booking, and enhance the quality of services for both users and court managers.
