Abstract

The Indonesian maritime sector is highly dependent on main engine performance, where lubricant oil (LO) cooler temperature affects exhaust gas stability. This study analyzes the causal relationship between LO cooler temperature (X) and main engine exhaust gas (Y) on MV Logindo Overcomer. Using a quantitative causal-comparative approach, data were collected from 10 purposively selected engine room crew members during 12 months of Sailing Practice through Likert scale questionnaires, observations, and engine logbooks. SPSS v.27 analysis showed descriptive statistics (X: mean=52.50; Y: mean=37.70), highly valid/reliable instruments (Cronbach's α >0.90), regression equation Y=8.423+0.558X, coefficient of determination 71.6%, and Spearman correlation r=0.894 (p=0.000). The results prove a very strong influence of LO cooler temperature on exhaust gas stability. The conclusion recommends regular cleaning of the LO cooler, replacement of accurate thermometers, real-time monitoring, and crew training to prevent combustion inefficiency and overheating, similar to the case of KM Pratiwi Raya

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principals’ adaptive leadership and the school psychological environment on teacher creativity in instructional implementation at Muhammadiyah Junior High School Manado. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving the entire teacher population of 35 individuals through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed through multiple linear regression. The results indicate a strong relationship among the variables, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.768 and a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.590, meaning that 59% of the variation in teacher creativity can be explained by adaptive leadership and the psychological environment. Partially, adaptive leadership has a significant effect (t = 3.219), as does the school psychological environment (t = 3.607), which demonstrates a relatively greater contribution. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence teacher creativity, with an F-value of 23.187. In conclusion, flexible school leadership and a supportive work atmosphere are crucial factors in fostering teacher innovation in designing and implementing the learning process.

Abstract

SPX Shopee Express has been operating in Medan since 2018. In the development of the SPX Shopee expedition business, there have been problems with the supply chain, such as overloaded packages, late deliveries, and product damage. There have also been problems with expedition costs, such as inconsistent estimates of product weight and dimensions and the imposition of insurance costs. There have been problems with consumer trust, such as concerns about package delivery fraud and distrust of personal data security. Quantitative descriptive research is the research method, and explanatory research is the nature of the research. Interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies are the data collection methods. Multiple linear regression with classical assumption testing, namely normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity, is the analysis method. The population of this study was 300 customers, 171 of whom were selected through simple random sampling, and the validity and reliability were tested on 30 of them. The conclusion of the simultaneous analysis of the supply chain, shipping costs, and consumer confidence (F-test) has a positive effect on the success rate of Fcount 108.488 > Ftable 2.66 with sig. 0.000 < 0.05. Partially (t-test), the supply chain t-count is 1.254 < t-table 1.65392 and sig. 0.212 > 0.05, shipping costs tcount 0.662 < ttable 1.65392 and sig. 0.509 > 0.05, consumer confidence tcount 9.381 > ttable 1.65392 and sig. 0.000 < 0.05. The adjusted R-square coefficient test result of 0.655 means that 65.5% of the supply chain, shipping costs, and consumer confidence affect the success rate at a level of 65.5%, while the remaining 34.5% are other factors that can be explained by other variables.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of encapsulated okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) using an amorphous maltodextrin matrix on microbiological parameters, intestinal morphology, and the physicochemical properties of meat in broiler chickens. The study used 200 broiler chickens of the MB-202 Platinum strain, aged 15 days, with an average body weight of 430 ± 0.31 g. The research material consisted of okra powder encapsulated with an amorphous maltodextrin matrix (CMO). The CMO was mixed into the basal feed under the following treatments: MCF-0, control or basal feed; MCF-1, basal feed + 0.5% CMO; MCF-2, basal feed + 1% CMO; and MCF-3, basal feed + 1.5% CMO. The variables measured included microbiological parameters, lactic acid bacteria and coliforms in the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum, intestinal morphology, and physicochemical properties of meat. Results showed that adding CMO supplementation significantly affected (P<0.05) total LAB, coliform counts in the jejunum and ileum, intestinal pH, villus height and crypt depth in the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum, the villus height to crypt depth ratio in all intestinal segments, and abdominal fat. However, CMO supplementation did not significantly affect water holding capacity, tenderness, color, dressing percentage, or meat moisture content. The study concluded that okra encapsulated with maltodextrin can improve the small intestinal profile and selected physicochemical characteristics of meat, while increasing LAB and reducing coliform populations in broiler chickens.

Abstract

The transformation of digital health services through the Mobile JKN application is an important strategy in supporting equal access to health services for all people, including vulnerable groups, but its effectiveness is largely determined by the creation of public value in the implementation process. This study aims to analyze how Mobile JKN creates public value in equal access to health services for vulnerable groups in Bojonegoro Regency based on Moore's Public Value theory (1995) which includes aspects of legitimacy and support, operational capacity, and substantial value. The study used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, field observations, and data analysis using NVivo with six informants consisting of community health center officers and community users of Mobile JKN. The results of the study indicate that in terms of legitimacy and support, the community is aware of the existence of Mobile JKN, but understanding and ability to use it are still low, especially among the elderly and people who do not have smartphones, so the level of public acceptance is not optimal due to uneven socialization. In terms of operational capacity, the Sumberrejo Community Health Center lacks adequate support due to limited training, low user digital literacy, and technical constraints such as weak internet connections and login failures, despite staff adapting through manual assistance, communication with BPJS Kesehatan, and the provision of Wi-Fi. In terms of substantial value, Mobile JKN has been shown to provide convenience and efficiency of services, particularly in reducing queues, but these benefits have not been felt equally by vulnerable groups. This study concludes that public value creation through Mobile JKN has not been optimal, requiring strengthened outreach, increased human resource capacity, and simplified application features to achieve more inclusive and equitable digital health services.

Abstract

Transportation has an important role in supporting community mobility, especially on the Latuhalat-Mardika route in Ambon City which connects coastal areas with city centers. Various modes of transportation are used by the community, ranging from online motorcycle taxis, private motorcycles, conventional motorcycle taxis, public transportation, to private cars. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the choice of transportation modes and estimate the probability of choosing modes on these routes. The research method used was a quantitative method with a survey approach of 500 respondents, which was determined using the Slovin formula with purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and multinomial logistic regression with the help of SPSS version 26. The variables studied included cost, travel time, convenience, security, and ease of access. The results showed that security factors (82–86%) and ease of access (80–85%) were the main determinants influencing the choice of transportation modes. Meanwhile, the factors of cost, travel time, and convenience did not have a significant effect. Probability analysis shows that private motorcycles are the most dominant mode chosen (43%), followed by public transportation (29%), private cars (10%), and online motorcycle taxis and conventional motorcycle taxis (9%). Thus, people prioritize a sense of security and ease of obtaining fashion in their daily travel.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of Crew Member (ABK) responsibilities according to the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) 2006 on the MV Meratus Kalabahi owned by PT Pelayaran Meratus Line, driven by the gap between regulations and field practices such as work fatigue on domestic Indonesian routes. The aim is to identify compliance with working hours, safety, and crew complaints. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a population of 20 crew members and a purposive sample of 10-15 respondents, the instruments include interviews, observations, FGDs, and Miles and Huberman analysis (data reduction, presentation, conclusion). The results show good administrative compliance (working hour recording, PPE availability), but field inconsistencies such as double tasks during loading and unloading cause fatigue and low PPE use. The conclusion recommends adjustments to manning levels and safety culture to optimize the MLC 2006.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of high temperature (HT) freshwater cooling pump pressure on the main engine jacket water temperature on the MT. Sunrise Warrior tanker, addressing operational reliability issues due to a decrease in pressure from 2.5-3.5 bar to 1.8 bar which causes overheating above 85°C. Using a quantitative approach with simple linear regression on 30 purposive samples from the engine room logbook (July 2024-July 2025), instruments including pressure gauge (X: 2.1-3.3 bar) and temperature indicator (Y: 70-90°C), analyzed through SPSS with the classical assumption test, t-test, F-test, and R². The results show a strong negative correlation (R=0.996) with the equation Y=124.931-16.650X which explains 99.1% of the variation (R²=0.991), all tests are significant (t=-56.527, F=3195.333, p<0.001). Increasing pump pressure significantly reduces jacket water temperature, resulting in a validated prediction model different from previous qualitative studies, with implications for preventive maintenance in maritime engineering.

Abstract

The development of digital media has changed people's information consumption patterns, thus requiring conventional media to adapt marketing communication strategies. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Metro TV's marketing communication strategy in increasing brand awareness of Q&A talk show programs. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model which included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that Metro TV has implemented several elements of the marketing communication mix, especially advertising, public relations, and digital marketing, but it has not been optimally integrated within the framework of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC). The use of digital media, especially YouTube and TikTok, is the most effective strategy in reaching and increasing audience engagement. However, the brand awareness level of the Q&A program is still at the brand recognition stage, which indicates that the program has been recognized but has not yet reached the top of mind. . This study also found challenges in the form of changes in audience behavior, competition with digital content creators, and fluctuations in program performance. These findings indicate that increasing brand awareness does not only depend on digital media exposure, but also requires the integration of communication strategies, message consistency, and content innovation that matches the characteristics of digital audiences.

Abstract

The rapid development of Securities Crowdfunding (SCF) as a digital financing mechanism has transformed capital market practices by expanding access to investment and funding. However, this innovation raises critical concerns regarding investor protection, particularly in relation to information disclosure and asymmetry. This study is grounded in the theory of information asymmetry proposed by Akerlof, as well as legal protection and legal certainty theories developed by Hadjon and Mertokusumo, which emphasize the importance of transparency and clear legal standards in safeguarding investor interests. This research employs a descriptive-analytical legal method using a normative juridical approach supported by limited empirical analysis. The study examines the synchronization between Law Number 8 of 1995 on Capital Markets and Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 57/POJK.04/2021, as well as evaluates the quality of material information disclosure in SCF prospectuses, particularly in the funding of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) through the Danamart platform. The findings reveal that although SCF regulations have formally adopted the disclosure principle, the level of regulatory synchronization remains incomplete. The SCF framework lacks detailed standards for material information disclosure, creating legal uncertainty and reducing the effectiveness of investor protection. Empirical analysis further indicates that disclosure practices tend to emphasize potential returns while providing insufficient detail on risks, thereby sustaining information asymmetry and limiting informed decision-making by retail investors. In conclusion, while SCF enhances financial inclusion and investment opportunities, its effectiveness in protecting investors depends on strengthening disclosure standards, improving transparency, and ensuring regulatory alignment with broader capital market principles.
