Aceh Journal of Community Engagement (AJCE) adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan secara online (OJS), yang membahas praktik dan proses keterlibatan masyarakat. Yaitu kegiatan berupa pelatihan, penyuluhan, sosialisasi, bimbingan teknis, pengembangan program dan pengajaran. Edisi pertama terbit pada Agustus 2022 dan kami terbitkan tiga kali setahun (April, Agustus, Desember). Jurnal ini menyediakan forum bagi akademisi, praktisi dan perwakilan masyarakat untuk mengeksplorasi isu-isu dan merefleksikan praktik terkait dengan berbagai kegiatan yang me,ibatkan masyarakat. AJCE merupakan jurnal online peer-review yang didedikasikan untuk publikasi hasil layanan berkualitas tinggi yang berfokus pada pemanfaatan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, budaya dan sosial humaniora. Sesuai dengan namanya, jurnal ini menyebarluaskan isu-isu pelibatan masyarakat di Provinsi Aceh dan nasional, terlepas dari afiliasi penulisnya. Kompleksitas, keunikan dan kearifan lokal di masyarakat menjadi bagian tak terpisahkan dari kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk ditulis dalam artikel di jurnal ini. Jurnal ini didukung oleh Universitas Almuslim Peusangan Bireuen (Umuslim) yang diterbitkan oleh Lembaga Penelitian Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM Umuslim). Peer reviewer berasal dari beberapa pakar dari perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Dan anggota tim redaksi yang mewakili setiap fakultas di Umuslim.

Abstract

Indonesia has a source of inspiration in character creation because it has a unique and diverse culture. Of course, in the creation of characters extracted from cultural sources, the Indonesian nation has enormous potential. Character development can start from comics, games, novels or movies. Then it can be reduced to merchandise, 2D/3D movies, mobile games, consoles, board games. In an animated film, human or animal characters are one of the most important elements. Character is a filler role from the story of an animated film. It is even now an advantage that characters in animated films can be registered as Intellectual Property. The Intellectual Property of the characters and their derivatives may be commercialized. The purpose of the 3D character design training is to train the participants (students) ability to create animated characters so that they can compete nationally and even internationally. This 3D Character Design was created using Blender, a free opensource software. In this training, participants are also given knowledge about 3D character topology modeling so that it is easy to animate. Because character design depends on its purpose whether it's just a model for concept art or an object model to animate

Abstract

This service aims to improve the ability to read hijaiyah letters by using interactive media for students of the Nurul Hidayah Al-Hanafiah study center, Bireuen Regency. The ability to read hijaiyah letters that is learned is to read hijaiyah letters at random and distinguish hijaiyah letters which are almost similar in shape. The subjects of this service are 25 students of the Nurul Hidayah Al-Hanafiah Study Center from April 18 to May 8, 2022. The object of this service is the ability to read hijaiyah letters using interactive media. Data collection techniques through observation. The results of the service, students can master and recognize hijaiyah letters and help ease the work of the ustadz in teaching students at the Nurul Hidayah Al-Hanafiah Bireuen study hall.

Abstract

Basically, good financial management requires proper management and strategy. Financial management is related to good financial management, in order to be able to balance between income and expenses, to meet the needs of life and not get caught in financial difficulties. Financial ability is something that needs to be considered in today's modern life. Expertise in financial management is needed and carried out by business people, to manage their financial resources, with the ultimate goal of financial prosperity. This Technical Guidance (Bimtek) aims to provide financial management training so that it can be better understood and practiced for course participants and training at the Mom N Me Gandapura Course and Training Institute (LKP) Bireuen Regency. The results of the Bimtek have provided further understanding to all participants who took part in the training related to financial management strategies that are easier and more appropriate to plan and implement in their daily lives

Abstract

Improving skills is one way to improve the quality of human resources. One form of skill that may be needed by everyone is presentation technique. Both in business activities, education, and organizations. Interesting presentation techniques with the help of Power Point will be able to increase the audience's interest in the ideas presented. This presentation technique training is intended for teachers of SMA Negeri 1 Jeumpa. The methods used in this community service are lectures, direct practice with computers and with direct assistance so that participants can be faster and focus on making interesting presentations. The implementation of this community service can be said to be successful, because of the suitability of the material to the needs of the participants, the positive response from the participants and the wishes of the participants where the training took place to be developed with other topics. which can improve the standard of living of the surrounding communit

Abstract

The goal to be achieved in the service activities of lecturers and students of PG PAUD Universitas Almuslim, is the creation of fun learning for children by applying educational game tools (APE) so that children's creativity emerges by involving children in the manufacturing process, and in playing and study. In making educational teaching aids, it is not as easy as imagined because teachers have to consider aspects ranging from planning the selection of learning media which include (1) planning learning in PAUD and (2) learning targets, namely children (3) the level of media readability does it meet the technical requirements such as clarity, size, color arrangement (4) Conformity to the situation and condition of the place, such as land area, institutional environment, and community resources around the institution and the fifth Objectivity must avoid choosing media based on personal pleasure alone. In this activity, the teacher has given an understanding of the importance of making educational aids in every learning in PAUD because teaching aids can foster children's imagination and will be by children's growth and development.

Abstract

This service activity aims to improve the understanding and ability of lecturers at STIT Al-Washliyah Aceh Tengah regarding the preparation of research proposals and community service based on Grants. the participants involved in this service activity are lecturers and education staff at STIT Al-Washliyah Aceh Tengah. The stages carried out in this service consist of two stages, namely the delivery of material and the practice of preparing proposals. The material presented is a strategy for preparing research proposals and community service in higher education, using the lecture method and proposal review. The result of this service is an increase in the understanding and ability of lecturers and education staff regarding the preparation of proposals. The results of this service can be used as input for lecturers and education staff to improve the professionalism and competence of lecturers in teaching and careers.
