<![CDATA[This Community Service Activity aims to: (a) provide assistance and recommendation on how significant marketing mix (4P) is in marketing batik product during the pandemic covid 19, (b) provide assistance on how significant marketing mix (4P) for batik entrepreneurs in Rafida Batik Pilang Masaran. The benefits of this community service activity are (a) marketing concept and batik sales are created based on 4P (product, price, place, promotion), (b) the sales of qualified products is fit to the consumers, the price is affordable by consumers, easy to buy and find the products, the optimal corporate promotion management. This community service activity uses assistance method with interactive participatory based. The object and the location of community service activity is carried out in Rafidah Batik as the implementationn sample of 4P. The community service activity is carried out for 2 months and through marketing mix practice, the sales turnover of UKM Rafida increases.]]>

<![CDATA[The Al-Kahfi Foundation is a social institution engaged in education and charity. The results of the preliminary survey conducted through observation and interviews with foundation administrators found that there were problems controlling children's behavior towards personal health, especially those who still lived with their families. The results of a survey of 10 orphanage children showed that as many as 40% of children had insufficient knowledge and did not understand the importance of having a clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS), and 50% of children did not clearly understand what Covid-19 was and the dangers of the virus. The purpose of this activity is to increase PHBS knowledge and skills; Increase participants' awareness of the importance of preventing the dangers arising from the Covid-19 disease; Increase the willingness and ability of participants to prevent themselves from the dangers of Covid-19. The media used to support these community service activities are: Videos, screening of documentary films about smoking; Power Point about the extension material includes; LCD; Pre-test and post-test sheets. While the methods used are lectures, discussions, and questions and answers. Extension was carried out both verbally and by video playback. The PHBS video screening is intended to provide information on how to wash hands and wear masks properly and correctly, cough etiquette, maintain balanced nutrition, and carry out social distancing. Playing motion pictures is the method chosen so that the steps in preventing Covid-19 are more interesting and can be easily remembered by children and adolescents, so that their implementation is faster. Based on the results of outreach activities, it is known that counseling using the visual method or video playback takes a person's attention more than the lecture method.]]>

<![CDATA[Housewives have a myriad of activities, either as workers or employees or as housewives who prepare all household needs. Many things happen when mothers plant chilies at home, these plants do not bear fruit due to a virus attack. While most of the housewives have not seen the cause of their chili plants not bearing much fruit and dense. One of the causes of not bearing fruit or failed chili harvest is due to pests such as desease mosaic virus which causes chili plants to grow stunted, yellow leaves and bear little fruit or fail to bear fruit. On this occasion, the Implementer of Community Service for the D3 Medical Record and Health Information Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Duta Bangsa Surakarta Surakarta has carried out P2M activities to study mothers Ummi Al Hijrah regarding the activities of the desease mosaic virus. On this occasion the executor of Community Service expressed his gratitude to the head of the Ummi Al Hijrah Study for giving permission to place to carry out Community Service activities. Hopefully this activity will be useful to increase the knowledge of the women of the Ummi Al Hijrah Study regarding the activity of the desease mosaic virus and its prevention so that they will pay more attention to environmental health. The output of this community service activity is that the study mothers of Ummi Al Hijrah can see symptoms, signs, and prevention of the desease mosaic virus that attacks chili plants. If the plant's body power has become immune, it is hoped that the accompanying disease can be prevented.]]>

<![CDATA[Aedes is a genus of mosquitoes that often cause health problems. The genus Aedes is a biological vector of DHF (Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever). Concern over the current outbreak of DHF (Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever) has resulted in the use of many chemical-based insect repellents such as insecticides to eradicate mosquitoes. However, these things can cause toxic residues that are harmful to human and livestock health, environmental pollution and can cause unwanted effects such as natural enemies if used continuously and for a long time. Currently, electric mosquito repellent is one of the people's choices. Therefore, to make people aware of the importance of high selectivity in using mosquito repellent that is safe for health and the environment, it is necessary to have community service regarding and training regarding the use and manufacture of herbal mosquito repellent. Hernal mosquito repellent is made from a mixture of natural ingredients that contain nicotinic substances that can protect us from mosquitoes. The materials used for the manufacture of mosquito repellent are very easy to find or easy to obtain. Because it only uses orange peel and garlic as the basic ingredients. The method of manufacture is also very easy so that it is also easy to apply among housewives. <![CDATA[The problem faced by partners at this time is that many nurse members experience a dilemma when carrying out health services through home visits due to limited authority while the community's need for the role of nurses is increasing due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. The purpose of this community service is to improve the performance of health workers in hospitals, update the expertise of hospital employees in handling complaints, and help solve operational problems in hospitals. The method used in this service is a literal approach, namely an action plan consisting of a set of steps to solve a problem or achieve a goal, then as a mental procedure in the form of an order of steps that uses the efforts of the creative realm to achieve certain goals. This community service will be carried out in September 2021 after obtaining approval from Educational Institutions and Partners. The output of this service is used as a community service journal published by LPPM Duta Bangsa University, Surakarta. The results of this community service are used as a reference by the PPNI Cilacap Professional Organization to be used as a reference in the formulation of policies related to the independent practice of nurses.]]>

<![CDATA[Self-medication is a common activity carried out by a person when he is sick. Proper self-medication by providing information provided by health workers will help the patient's healing process by optimizing therapy. Irrational management can result in various disadvantages such as medication errors due to inaccurate self-diagnosis; drug use is not appropriate because of the acquisition of incorrect information from the media; waste of time and costs; can cause unwanted drug reactions such as sensitivity, allergies, side effects or resistance. The use of drugs is said to be rational, if the patient receives the right drug for clinical needs, in doses that meet the needs for a sufficient period of time, and at affordable costs for both individuals and society. This activity was carried out with the aim to increase the understanding and knowledge of the community in Sejahtera Village, Palolo District, Sigi Regency, especially about rational medicine and the provision social assistance. Counseling is given by interactive lecture method through posters and distribution of leaflets. The effectiveness of the extension was tested by giving a partner satisfaction questionnaire to the activities carried out. The results of the activity observations showed that the Partners were satisfied with the outreach activities carried out.]]>

<![CDATA[Anemia is a condition in which the level of hemoglobin (Hb) in the blood is lower than the normal value for the group of people concerned, with the administration of Fe tablets can prevent anemia in which Fe tablets are the most important biocatalytic element in human enzymology, with its main role in oxidative metabolism, cell proliferation and growth and oxygen storage and transport. The purpose of this community service activity is self-medication counseling, especially the use of Fe tablets to overcome anemia in adolescents, so that the Sejahtera village community has the knowledge to recognize the symptoms of the disease, the selection of drugs according to the disease and the right dose for self-medication or self-medication of the disease. mild anemia. The type of research used is an analytical survey with a qualitative approach, making observations, in-depth interviews (indept interviews) and documentation. The results showed that there were still many young women in the Sejahtera Village, Palolo District, Sigi Regency who did not understand and understand the use and benefits of Fe tablets and what anemia is. This is due to the lack of education regarding the use and benefits of Fe tablets and the dangers of anemia for young women. Education related to self-medication of the use of Fe tablets and the dangers of anemia needs to be given to young women, so that young women realize the benefits of Fe tablets for health, namely for the prevention of anemia.]]>

<![CDATA[Evaluation of productivity and technological needs was an important process in a production process. It was used to assist maintenance and repairs in production. MSMEs at the Grobog Wonogiri tempe chips industrial center have used a slicing machine to slice the benguk seeds. The use of these machines causes problems, namely the results of the pieces do not match the needs that were wide but destroyed, besides on the other problems, machine was not environmentally friendly. The result of the implementation of the activity was an evaluation related to the technology used, so it can be seen the need for a machine that was suitable for the specifications of slicing koro benguk beans. So, it was expected to increase productivity.]]>

<![CDATA[Recently, there has been an increase in the use of the internet in the educational environment. Internet-based learning, known as online learning, is an alternative to acquiring appropriate knowledge and skills so as to encourage students to be able to study outside class hours. However, not all teachers have adequate digital literacy. The use of the internet in learning tends to be just a search for information to support learning and even entertainment. This community service activity aims to improve the competence of teachers at SMK Tamansiswa Banjarnegara in using the internet productively in learning. The activities are carried out face-to-face in the form of lectures and discussions with them. The discussion of the material includes internet basics, internet-based learning strategies and the introduction of online applications that support vocational learning. After the implementation of this activity, it is hoped that the teachers will gain new knowledge and insights as an increase in teaching competence to students by using the internet.]]>

<![CDATA[Hospital employees have a very high risk of disease. To prevent and reduce the risk of these hazards, it is necessary to implement occupational safety and health efforts in hospitals. This helps in patient safety. All prospective health workers must understand the importance of occupational safety and health, one of which is students at the Darul Hidayah Health Vocational High School (SMK) Sukoharjo. So the purpose of this community service activity is to increase students' knowledge and skills about the importance of occupational safety and health to protect themselves from injury due to work accidents, as well as to prevent the risk of injury to patients. The activity method starts from the stage of work preparation, education, training, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting. The results showed a positive response from the principal and students during service activities. Now students have to understand how to use disinfectants properly, how to wash hands properly, and how to use personal protective equipment properly to prevent work accidents. In the monitoring and evaluation process, all students were able to answer all questions correctly. So it can be concluded that the implementation team has succeeded in helping to improve the knowledge and skills of Darul Hidayah Sukoharjo Health Vocational School students about health and safety efforts for health workers.]]>
