Abstract

The development of technology and access of information that is not limited to changing the perspective also provides opportunities for millennial generations to be able to develop various technology-based businesses. So they are demanded to be able to seize these opportunities. This study aims to determined the used of Social Media by Millennials and the challenges of Business in the Social Media Era. This research was a qualitative research with case study method. Data collection techniques used observation and interviews. As for data analysis, namely qualitative data analysis used the Miles and Hubbermen models which consist of three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions or verification. The results of this study indicated the use of social media by Denia Donuts is relatively large. In the aspect of utilizing social media as a means of interaction with consumers comes first with a percentage of 24.8% and the smallest indicator is the use of social media to find out about the quality of similar products with a percentage of 10.5%. As for several factors that determine the high success of the use of social media by Denia Donuts as a means of influencers, online motorcycle taxi users, and channels such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. While business challenges in the era of social media are changing consumer desires, high competition and consumer testimonials

Abstract

Nori is a typical Japanese food in the form of thin sheets made from Porphyra seaweed. This type of seaweed is only found in sub-tropical countries, so it is not found in Indonesia. Nori consumed is still imported from abroad and the price is relatively expensive. One of the plants that can be used as raw material for nori is kale. Kale plants thrive and the price is cheap. The leaves contain antioxidants, 2.35% protein, 0.55% fat, 6.02% carbohydrates, and 1.04% crude fiber. The author's team added catfish as a flavoring because this fish has a low price and has high protein, rich in leucine and lysine. We call our products by the name of Na Kung Kung; as an innovative effort to replace the raw material for making nori with local ingredients that are widely available in Indonesia. The research method was carried out by organoleptic test. Through literature studies from various references, such as research journals, books, and data from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia to obtain conclusions. The results showed that nori from kale with drying treatment for up to 12 hours with the addition of 1% carrageenan almost resembled commercial nori and was the most preferred based on organoleptic tests. The conclusion is that kale can be used as an alternative material for making nori. The existence of Na Kung Kung products is expected to increase the income of the Indonesian people during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This paper aims to inform that entrepreneurship education is very important for Generation Z because many new businesses or start-ups are called start-ups. This entrepreneurship education can be a provision for young people who will enter the world of work which is actually not easy and full of competition, therefore entrepreneurship education is very important and teachers need to instill the soul to become entrepreneurs because being an entrepreneur can provide jobs for students. The number of job seekers is increasing every year. In fact, in February 2020 there were 2.92 million job seekers in Indonesia, which were divided into 2 categories, the first being 1.73 million workforce and 1.19 million non-laborers.

Abstract

Grobogan Regency, is one of the regencies in Central Java Province. Grobogan Regency is a regency that is rich in plants, one of which is pumpkin, pumpkin which is abundant in Grobogan Regency during the main harvest, the price drops, so it is necessary to innovate so as to increase the value of pumpkin products. Pumpkin is processed to produce added value as a typical Grobogan souvenir. This study aims to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats based on the 9 elements of the Business Model Canvas and map out new strategies in order to increase sales of Pumpkin Cookies and their Agrotourism with the method used in this study through the Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach and SWOT analysis that produces a strategy matrix. The type of research used is observation and literature study. The results of this study indicate the business position in quadrant II on the SWOT diagram, and is represented visually using BMC. It can be concluded that this business has sufficient opportunities to develop by implementing the strategies proposed.

Abstract

Milk is a commodity that contains high protein and is healthy for the body. Public interest in milk consumption still needs to be increased by processing, especially pasteurized milk products. Processing can be done on a home industry scale and provides added value including product durability, taste variations, and selling prices. This study aims to determine the benefits obtained from processing pasteurized milk on a home industry scale. Product benefits are analyzed using the R/C ratio and Break Event Point. The results of the analysis show that home industry scale pasteurized milk is profitable and feasible. Product marketing is also supported by areas that are tourist sites. Therefore, in addition to increasing the added value of resilience and product variety, it is hoped that processing will also increase the income of local farmers.

Abstract

Horticulture development is one of the strategic issues in increasing the role of agriculture in the national economy in 2020-2024. One of the potential horticultural commodities is shallot. One of the areas in East Java that is developing intensive shallot cultivation is Bojonegoro Regency. The characteristic of shallot cultivation is that it requires more intense care than other horticultural cultivations, including the care and control of pests. The existence of intense care in the cultivation of shallots results in the need for quite a lot of labor, so that the care and maintenance is optimal. The labor used will affect the income of shallot farmers. The use of intensive care inputs such as fertilizers and pesticides will also affect the costs and income of shallot farmers. The purpose of this study was to examine whether land area, labor expenditure, and production costs will affect the income of onion farming in Bojonegoro Regency. The results showed that the outpouring of labor and production costs had a significant effect on farmers' income on onion farming in Bojonegoro Regency.

Abstract

The important issues in era industrial 4.0 is the problem of environment polluted by heavy metal waste water, especially chromium (VI). Chromium (VI) can accumulate in aquatic organisms and enter the human body, which caused the skin rashes, cancer, and genetic mutations. One way to reducing chromium (VI) in waste water using adsorption method with activated carbon made from Nyamplung (Calophyllum inophyllum) seed shell. Biomass was carbonized to produce carbon (yield 22.36%), and then it activated by H2SO4 (50:50) solution. Based on observations, activated carbon has a black color and contains carbon-carbon cross-links (FTIR test). Gravimetric method to analyze of water content obtained 5.21%. Analysis of porous material using the BET and BJH methods, obtained the surface area was ​​61,339 m²/g, the pore diameter was 3.781 nm, and the pore volume was 0.015 cm3/g. Adsorption test of 0.1g activated charcoal against 50mL of chromium (VI) with various concentrations 25, 50, 75, and 100 mg/L, at pH = 1, timing 150 minutes, and 500 rpm batch rotation speed, obtained the adsorption capacity of activated carbon (qt) is 8.57 mg/g.

Abstract

Pekarangan rumah merupakan lahan yang terbuka yang bisa dimanfaatkan untuk menghasilkan pangan bagi masyarakat. Pekarangan rumah sesempit apapun bisa dimanfaatkan jika di Kelola dengan baik dan akan mengahasilkan sayuran yang bernilai tinggi. Permasalahan yang terjadi kini masyarakat membiarkan lahan terbuka tanpa di kelola untuk menghasilkan nilai yang tinggi. Oleh karena itu untuk menghasilkan sayuran yang bernilai tinggi memanfaatkan lahan sempit dengan cara budidaya sayuran dengan memanfaatkan air sebagai media pengganti tanah, kegiatan budidaya tersebut disebut juga dengan hidroponik. Serta pemanfaatan lahan dalam penanaman hidropobik sayur akan meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat. Tujuan dari artikel ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, wawasan dan keterampilan dengan memanfaatkan pekarangan rumah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui google form, mengenai bertani mudah dengan sistem hidroponik. Tahapan kegiatan ini meliputi mengirimkan link form, pengisisan data tanya jawab, serta diskusi melalui online. Hasil kegiatan ini meliputi pemanfaatan pekarangan dengan tanaman hidroponik.

Abstract

Hidroponik adalah budidaya tanaman dengan hanya memanfaatkan air tanpa menggunakan tanah. Prioritasnya adalah pemenuhan kebutuhan nutrisi tanaman. Air yang dibutuhkan dalam penanaman hidroponik tentunya lebih sedikit dari kebutuhan air dalam budidaya tanaman dengan tanah. Untuk menghindari kekurangan pangan, diperlukan teknik-teknik baru dalam pertanian. Misalnya dengan teknik penanaman yang bisa dilakukan tanpa menggunakan media tanah yaitu dengan teknik hidroponik. Meski penanaman dilakukan di air, namun teknik hidroponik membutuhkan sedikit air. Sehingga penanaman hidroponik sangat cocok dilakukan di daerah yang minim suplai air. Dalam rangka meningkatkan produksi pertanian, pemerintah sangat mendukung upaya pengembangan teknologi pertanian dan peningkatan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Target penanaman hidroponik ini bisa dimulai dari rumah tangga. Pada umumnya ibu rumah tangga yang tidak bekerja memiliki banyak waktu luang, sehingga dapat mengembangkan sayuran hidroponik di pekarangan rumah. Manfaat yang bisa didapat dari menanam hidroponik adalah membuat taman yang indah dan hasil tanam hidroponik akan memberikan asupan gizi bagi keluarga. Manfaat yang lebih baik adalah mampu memberikan manfaat ekonomi untuk menunjang perekonomian keluarga.

Abstract

Pada masa pandemi saat ini, kebutuhan akan kesehatan menjadi sangat tinggi bagi banyak orang. Daun sambung nyawa yang dikombinasikan dengan daun putri malu diformulasikan sebagai teh antihipertensi sekaligus sebagai sedatif alami untuk penderita insomnia menjadi produk inovatif yang bernilai jual. Kandungan senyawa yang terdapat pada daun sambung nyawa berupa flavonoid, alkaloid, saponin, dan tannin juga telah diteliti dapat mengobati hiperkolesterol dan berperan sebagai antioksidan. Pada daun putri malu terdapat senyawa flavonoid, tannin, polifenol, monoterpenoid, seskuiternoid, steroid, saponin dan kuinon yang dipercaya dapat mengobati hiperglikemia di samping mengobati insomnia. Teh daun sambung nyawa dengan kombinasi daun putri malu ini dibuat dengan metode sederhana, yaitu tanaman dibuat menjadi simplisia kering dan kemudian diayak agar diperoleh serbuk simplisia yang halus kemudian dicampurkan dengan dosis daun sambung nyawa 600 mg dan daun putri malu 300 mg agar dapat bekerja secara efektif seperti yang diinginkan. Agar produk dapat bertahan lama, maka harus disimpan dalam ruangan dan suhu kamar yang kering serta terhindar dai paparan sinar matahari langsung.
