Abstract

Choking is a condition where the upper airway is blocked by food or other objects which causes breathing problems. The method used in this Community Service Activity (PKM) starts from the initial survey, problem formulation, pre test, activity implementation and post test. The results of the activity showed that there was a significant increase in the level of knowledge of parents in providing first aid for choking events in children. The results of the presentation showed that 63% experienced a good increase in knowledge and 37% experienced a moderate increase. It is hoped that this community service activity will help the community, especially parents who have school-age children who are prone to choking, can provide first aid to prevent disability or death

Abstract

Kuala Satong Village, situated in the North Matan Hilir District of Ketapang Regency, possesses a 6-hectare mangrove forest region managed by the village Pokdarwis and various environmental organisations. Despite being a tourist destination, several obstacles are faced, such as the non-utilisation of mangrove forest products to become products that have economic value, the sub-optimal management of tour packages, and the lack of community understanding regarding promotion through the website. In an effort to increase the economic value of the community, community service activities are carried out through pedada fruit processing, website management training, social media content, and CHSE standard homestays. The focus is on understanding tour packages to increase visitor attraction. The method of implementing activities includes lectures, questions and answers, demonstrations, and hands-on practice. The purpose of the service is to increase community knowledge in utilising pedada fruit economically and support the development of Mangrove Forest tourism as a leading destination. The use of the website is expected to increase tourism publications and superior products of Kuala Satong Village. The results of the training are expected to have a positive impact on increasing community income and supporting local economic growth through sustainable product marketing.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is one of the factors that strengthens the economic structure of a country. Economic growth in Indonesia is influenced by various factors, one of which is the involvement of MSMEs. Digitalization is an important agenda for MSMEs because digitization itself can help MSMEs to survive amidst the competition for many imported goods entering Indonesia. cheap. In an effort to develop product marketing, it is necessary to master the use of digital marketing so that it can grow/increase enthusiasm and inspiration in running an online-based business, and improve skills in using technology, especially in online marketing. Pre-survey activities have been carried out at the UMKM Ngesti Rempah Semarang. The implementation of this PKM is to conduct training for making e-booklets to promote the products. The goal of this PKM is to provide assistance to MSME Partners in terms of utilizing digital technology to carry out product marketing and increase sales.
