Abstract

Mental health problems do not directly cause death but are very influential in reducing ability. The reality in lower-level communities there are still cases (diseases) that are not handled which ultimately lead to death, whether due to factors of family and community knowledge about low health, including the minimum community participation in overcoming mental health problems. In Bangkingan District, Lakarsantri Surabaya sub-district is a rural area in Surabaya which is very dense and complex in character of the population, and the initial data obtained 7 PWMD clients that need attention, so the number of potential social problems and mental disorders will also be high or increase . The problems in RW 01 and RW 03 are 7 PWMD patients, 34% of community members who are at risk of psychosocial problems. Housewives who have great potential in caring for family members who experience psychiatric problems have not been able to support the mental health of family members and have not been able to treat PWMD in the family, even though there are some PWMD in their area. The purpose of this community service activity is to solve the problems that exist in Partners, among others are 1) The lack of understanding and knowledge of housewives about concern for mental health, 2) The ability, skills and participation of the community do not have the role of caring and caring for People With Mental Disorders (PWMD) and 3) Do not have guidelines / guidelines for effective ways to treat PWMD. Solving problems by helping to provide solutions based on agreement with partners, namely building capacity (knowledge, skills and attitudes) of the community through housewives with training and mentoring activities in an effort to improve community mental health in Bangkingan Village, Lakarsantri District. The method used in this community service activity is education and training, field practice, socialization followed by assistance to housewives and families who have PWMD. The indicator of its success is an increase in knowledge capability, skills that support care for mental health problems and the ability to improve mental health in a society that we call the Standby Mental Health Village.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor pembinaan belajar matematika persiapan UN SMP belum ada dilakukan oleh Panti Asuhan Lubuk Kilangan dan Al-Hidayah adalah keterbatasan dana kedua panti. Banyak dana yang harus dikeluarkan oleh panti per anak asuh jika melaksanakan kegiatan ini. Dana yang dibutuhkan jika pembinaan di luar panti seperti dana belajar, dana menyewa transportasi pulang pergi (tidak adanya transportasi umum yang melalui panti), dan uang jajan untuk anak asuh. Jika pembinaan di panti maka dana yang dibutuhkan seperti dana jasa guru matematika yang dipanggil ke panti. Guru tersebut harus menggunakan kendaraan pribadi ke panti. Selain itu, diperlukan dana pembelian aplikasi pelatihan matematika menghadapi UN berbasis teknologi informasi dan pembelian buku soal matematika. Menyikapi permasalahan ini maka dilakukan kegiatan pembinaan belajar dan TO matematika menggunakan aplikasi berbasis teknologi informasi sebagai salah satu upaya dalam meningkatkan nilai matematika UN terhadap anak asuh yang akan menghadapi UN SMP (siswa kelas VIII dan IX).Pelaksanaan pembinaan dan TO ini dilakukan di masing – masing panti sehingga anak asuh merasa nyaman belajar karena layaknya belajar di rumah sendiri.Pelaksanaan TO menggunakan aplikasi berbasis teknologi informasi.Hal ini bertujuan agar lebih efektif waktu mengkoreksi hasil mereka karena hasil diketahui saat itu juga, dan melatih mereka menggunakan komputer dalam mengerjakan soal matematika persiapan UN.

Abstract

Kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah banyak menggunakan teknologi, salah satunya internet. Internet menjadi salah satu akses yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran terlebih dalam pembuatan tugas, maka dari itu akan berdampak pada pengetahuan pemanfaatan internet untuk anak-anak di Panti Asuhan masih sangat rendah. Permasalahan yang ditemukan adalah tidak adanya fasilitas komputer dan internet yang dapat digunakan oleh anak-anak di panti asuhan. Hal ini berdampak pada anakanak di panti asuhan dalam pembuatan tugas harus pergi ke warung internet, yang mana warung internet jauh dari lokasi panti asuhan. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan internet untuk anak-anak masih harus diarahkan dengan baik untuk mengurangi penggunaan internet secara negatif. Pelaksanaan PKM ini diharapkan mengadakan komputer dan jaringan internet dan melaksanakan pelatihan memaksimalkan internet di dunia pembelajaran untuk mendukung dan membantuprogram pemerintah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Tahap kegiatan yang sudah dilakukan dalam kegiatan pegabdian ini adalah memberikan fasilitas komputer dan jaringan internet untuk pelaksanaan pembelajaran di panti asuhan, melaksanakan pelatihan memaksimalkan internet di dunia pembelajaran meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anak-anak di panti asuhan, melaksanakan pelatihan cara penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif jika di terapkan di pekerjaan rumah (homework). Rencana selanjutnya adalah pendampingan peserta pelatihan dalam mendesain pembelajaran disekolah menggunakan internet yang sudah diberikan melalui kegiatan pelatihan.

Abstract

This service aims to improve the ability to write short stories for students of Madrasah Aliyah Raudhatusyubban using characterization techniques and three-word strategies. The method of activities used in this service is in the form of training / workshops and the results of the training are in the form of short paragraphs about short stories made. The training participants were 38 students from Aliyah Raudhatusyubban Madrasah.The results of the service show that students have an interest in the field of writing short stories but are constrained by ignorance in expressing ideas. The training of writing short stories using characterization techniques and three-word strategies is expected to be a solution for students to improve their ability to write short stories.

Abstract

The use of media for teaching is important in mathematics learning in order to make learning more meaningful and students can easily understand mathematical concepts. Therefore, the purpose of this activity is to provide insight and skills to elementary school teachers so that they have expertise in the use of mathematics media for teaching, such as integer coins, multiplication houses and KPK and FPB boards. This activity was attended by teachers at Tamban Muara 1 Elementary School . The results of this activity were adding insight, increasing teacher motivation and improving teacher skills in using mathematics media for teaching.

Abstract

The main objective of this community service activity is to facilitate a workshop on basic English conversation and Islamic integration for Islamic school teachers particularly for teachers in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah At Taqwa Sukodono. It was carried out due to limitation of so called worshops on those fore mentioned topics. The subject of this community service activity was teachers in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah At Taqwa Sukodono. The method implemented was guided workshop. It covers a workshop on motivation and insight of Islamic integration and a worshop on basic English conversation.

Culinary business is very developed in the City of Batam, especially the majority of the community is workers. Because not have no time to cook, citizens prefer to buy food outside while relaxing with the family. Demand more and more, more and more are also opened businesses in the culinary field, so the competition in selling gain weight. Both partners cake tape miss and toteles donuts still does not have an ecommerce, not to have the packaging design and marketing is still lacking. The purpose of this activity is to create an ecommerce, create packaging design and marketing of products. Ecommerce into one solution to improve a positive image to the community of Batam. The design of the packaging (packaging design) exciting the attention of his own for the buyer. Taste indeed determine the purchase back, with a pretty look is expected to add a positive value in the eyes of the customer by creating a unique form as well as print different layouts. The factor of economic withlooking so packaging does not need the expensive cost. Marketing management by providing coaching to be able to maintain business continuity as well as remain attentive to the satisfaction of the buyer. The results of these activities are already making a second web of partners, is already making packaging design and development marketing.

Abstract

UD Maju Jaya is one of the businesses of processing and marketing of noni processed products. UD Maju Jaya processes noni into dried noni products. But in the course of its business, UD Maju Jaya wants the development of Noni products to become a beverage product that has appeal. However, partners do not have the skills and production facilities are still limited. Based on the problems faced by partners, the team provided assistance through training activities and the provision of production equipment in the form of miller units, packaging, tea bags and label of packaging. Abstract

(KKN-PPM) Program aims to improve the knowledge, skills and income of the Jatimulyo village female head of household through strengthening conventional biotechnology-based micro enterprises in the food sector. Jatimulyo Village as an agriculture-based village has abundant natural resource potential, one of which is soybeans. By using conventional biotechnology, soybeans can produce a product in the field of food such as tofu, tempeh, and soy milk. The KKN-PPM program is implemented starting from preparation and debriefing, implementation of activities, and preparation of program sustainability plans. Through the KKN-PPM program results were obtained in the form of micro-businesses under the name PEKKA Beringinsalam. The KKN-PPM program received a positive response from the participants, and proved to be able to improve the knowledge, skills and income of the target group.

Abstract

The implementation of the community service program entitled 'One Stop Learning English in Sidoarjo English Community (SIDEC) aims to share about learning English, more precisely a day training that prioritizes English language skills, especially speaking skills of SIDEC members consisting of various professions.. There are many problems that club members often encounter in speaking English pronunciation and using vocabulary functions. In its implementation, this One Stop Learning English training contains listening, reading, speaking, structure and writing. But it is focused on speaking, with an allocation of 2,5 hours, starting at 16:30 to 21:00.
