Abstract

This study aims to enhance the competitiveness of MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in Dumai through online marketing. With the growing development of technology and the increasing accessibility of the internet, online marketing presents a significant opportunity to expand the market reach of MSMEs. This research employs a qualitative approach using case study methodology, analyzing several MSMEs in Dumai that have utilized online marketing. The results show that the application of online marketing strategies can increase product visibility, expand market reach, and improve sales for MSMEs in Dumai..

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has brought major changes in various aspects of life, including in the way brands communicate with consumers. One significant change is the emergence of social media as a platform that connects brands with consumers directly. Social media such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube are not only communication tools but also strategic media for building close relationships between brands and consumers. This is especially relevant in reaching the millennial generation and Gen Z, who are known as digital natives because of their habits of being attached to the digital world (Smith, 2020). In this context, social media is not only a promotional tool but also a medium for building sustainable relationships, which ultimately can increase brand loyalty. However, while social media offers great opportunities, there are challenges that brands must overcome, such as how to create consistent and relevant content and maintain authentic interactions amidst increasing competition. Therefore, this research aims to explore the role of social media in increasing brand loyalty among millennials and Gen Z by highlighting strategic aspects such as engagement, creative content, and user experience.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Desa PRIMA program in efforts to empower women in Kalurahan Piyaman. Additionally, it seeks to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in the programs implementation. The study employs a qualitative descriptive research method. The research location is Kalurahan Piyaman, and data is collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Informants were selected using purposive sampling. The data sources consist of primary and secondary data, and data validity was tested using source, technique, and time triangulation. Data analysis followed the three stages proposed by Miles and Huberman data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the implementation of the Desa PRIMA program has not been carried out optimally, which has also impacted women's empowerment efforts, making them less effective. The supporting factors include the availability of facilities and savings and loan services. In contrast, the inhibiting factors consist of low member motivation, the inability to conduct online marketing and budget limitations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Gunungkidul Regency Regional Regulation Number 7 of 2023 concerning Tourism Management in Argo Wijil Tourism Village. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach by collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of this policy has had a positive impact, especially on increasing economic opportunities and community empowerment. However, there are still obstacles in optimizing resources, bureaucratic coordination, and community participation. Therefore, further efforts are needed to improve communication, optimize resources, and strengthen organizational structures to achieve sustainable tourism management.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the influence of profitability, leverage, and sales growth on tax avoidance in coal production mining sub-industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019 - 2023. The data in this study is secondary data derived from the annual reports of coal mining companies published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. Considering the relatively small number of populations, the sample determination uses saturated sampling, so the sample used in this study is 34 companies. Data analysis uses the panel data regression method. The results of the study show that the average value of the company's profitability is 0.024111, then the average value of the company's leverage is 0.0461943, for the average value of the company's sales growth is 0.2115858, and as many as 98 financial statements are indicated to be tax avoidance (CETR < 25%). Furthermore, profitability affects tax avoidance. Leverage has no effect on tax avoidance, and sales growth has no effect on tax avoidance. Simultaneously, profitability, leverage, and sales growth have an effect on tax avoidance with an R-Square value of 0.0837 (8.37%). The remaining 91.63% was influenced by other variables that were not studied in this study, such as: company size, corporate social responsibility, capital intensity, audit quality, etc.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Leverage, Firm Size, Fixed Asset Intensity, and Inventory Intensity on Tax Avoidance in chemical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2022 period. The phenomenon of tax avoidance which causes global losses of up to 427 billion USD per year and an ETR value that is lower than the applicable tax rate for several chemical sector companies is the background for this research. The research used a purposive sampling method with 10 companies for 4 years, analyzing 40 financial reports. Data analysis used panel data regression with the Random Effect Model (REM) based on the results of the Chow Test (Probability 0.8069>0.05) and the Hausman Test (Probability 0.5156>0.05). The research results show that Leverage has a significant positive effect (0.0000≤0.05), Firm Size and Fixed Asset Intensity have a significant negative effect (0.0000≤0.05 and 0.0366≤0.05), while Inventory Intensity has no significant effect (0.4299≥0.05). Simultaneously, the four variables have a significant effect with a coefficient of determination of 99.20%. These findings imply the importance of company characteristics in tax avoidance practices. Companies are expected to evaluate tax planning to produce optimal tax management, while future researchers can research other sectors for maximum results

Abstract

Abstract: Sustainable village planning has become a major focus in Indonesia's national development strategy. The concept aims to create rural communities that are resilient, self-reliant, and able to meet the needs of the current generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. This study aims to produce a governance model for stakeholder collaboration in organising sustainable village planning. The model is designed to facilitate sustainable village planning through a collaborative approach involving various stakeholders and their decision-making and implementation processes. Collaboration in village planning is not just an option, but a necessity to realise sustainable village development and through a collaborative approach villages can optimise potential, overcome challenges, and achieve development goals more effectively. The key to success lies in the commitment of all parties to actively participate and build synergy in the village planning process.
