Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in learning IPS using Talking Stick learnig model in the fifth grade of elementary school. The type of research used is Class Action Research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. Subjects in this study were teachers and fourth grade elementary school students totaling 20 people. The research was carried out in two cycles with planning, implementation, observation and reflection procedures. The results showed that the learning of IPS using Talking Stick learnig model can improve student learning outcomes in SD Negeri 07 Sentosa Padang Gelugur Pasaman District.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to description skill enhancement in change poetry into prose form by used somatic, autiotori, visual, and intellectual (SAVI) model to VI grade elementary school. The research type is PTK by used quality and quantity approach. This research was implemented in SDN 35 Padang City with total 20 students which consist of 9 male student and 11 female student. The score of changing poerty into prose in each pre writing phase in cycle I 76,87 (B), increase in cycle II 90,6 (SB), writing phase in cycle I 68,75 (C) increase in cycle II 90,4 (SB), and on post writing phase cycle I 71,2 (C) increase in cycle II 89,6 (SB).  Keywords: Increased, enhancement in change poetry into prose,SAVI model.

Abstract

This research is done due to teacher’s lack of innovation in the learning process. Thus, the student are easily bored and are not actively participated in the process. This research aims at describing the improvement of the students’ learning outcomes of social science subject by using the Constrictivism Approach at class V of SDN 38 Api-Api Kecamatan Bayang. This class action research applied both qualitative and quantitative approaches. It was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of our phases planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This subjects were 20 students of class V of the school. There are tree results of this research. First, the score of the lesson plan increased from 82.1% in cycle I to 92.85% in cycle II. Second, in term of the teacher’s activity, the score enhanced from 78.75% to 95%. Meanwhile, the score of the students’ activities increased from 72.5% in cycle I to 92.5%. Third, the students’ learning outcomes enhaced from 74.31 in cycle I to 90% in cycle II. Thus, it is concluded that the constructism approach successfully improves the students’ learning outcomes of the Social Science subject. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Construtivism Approach

Abstract

                                        ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to describe an increase in student learning outcomes in Civics learning with the Social Problem Solving Model in class V 01 SDN VII Koto Talago Guguak Subdistrict. This type of research is Class Action Research using qualitative and quantitative approaches with planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Research data from observations, test results and non-tests. Conducted in Semester I Academic Year 2018/2019. The research subjects were teachers as observers, researchers as practitioners, and class V students as many as 20 people, namely 7 men and 13 female students. The results of the first cycle of research on lesson plans averaged 67.85% (sufficient), increasing in the second cycle to 89.3 % (well). The implementation of the first cycle on the aspect of the teacher averaged 80.55% (good), increased in the second cycle to 97.22% (very good). The implementation of the first cycle on the aspects of students on average 66.66% (sufficient), increased in the second cycle to 94.44% ( very good). Student learning outcomes in the first cycle averaged 74.30 (enough), increased in the second cycle to 89.17 (good). Can be concluded Model Social Problem Solving shows an increase in student learning outcomes in Civics learning in class V Public Elementary School 01 VII Koto Talago District Guguak. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the role-playing method on the students’ civics education learning outcome in Grade V of Elementary School Number 17 Batu Gadang, Agam. This is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental type of non-equivalent control group design. Data collection was performed using total sampling technique with the number of samples amounted to 56 students. The research instrument was in the form of a multiple-choice item test. Based on the result of the t-test with the significance 5%, it was found that ttest 3.2480 > ttabel 2.00488. Thus, it is concluded that the use of role-playing method has a significant effect on the students civics education learning outcome in Grade V of  Elementary School Number 17 Batu Gadang, Agam. Keywords: PKn, Role Playing Method, Learning Outcome

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS di kelas V di SD Gugus 2 Kecamatan Banuhampu Kabupaten Agam pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen dan desain penelitian quasi eksperimen. Pengambilan data sampel dilakukan dengan Simple Random Sampling. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 44orang, dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 147 orang. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh t hitung > t tabel yakni 6,3345 > 1,68195 dengan α=0,05 berarti Ho ditolak, sehingga Ha diterima yaitu terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS di kelas V di SDN Gugus 2 Kecamatan Banuhampu Kabupaten Agam.Kata kunci : model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), hasil belajar, IPS

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the improvement of integrated thematic learning outcomes using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model at 4th grade of elementry school in Batu Taba. The research subjects were teachers and 27 students. Research site in Batu Taba. The result showed an increase in : a)RPP cycle I 80,55% (good) and cycle II 97,22% (very good) b)implementation in the aspects of teacher cycle I 78,12% (enough) and cycle II 93,75% (very good) c) implementation in the aspects of student cycle I 78,12% (enough) and cycle II 93,75% (very good) d) aseesment of the result of student alignment with the average in cycle I 70 and cycle II with an average of 95. Based on these results it can be concluded that the problem based learning (PBL) model can improve integrated thematic learning outcomes in students.Keyword : problem based learning, learning outcomes

Abstract

This research is motivated by the use of inappropriate learning strategies in the learning of fraction story problems in the problem of comparison and scale that results in low student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of Polya Strategy on Learning Outcomes in Solving Fraction Story Problems in Comparative and Scale Problems in Class V SD of Cluster X in Koto Tangah District, Padang City. This type of research is quantitative in the form of quasy experiment design. The design used by the nonequivalent posttest-only control group design. The study was conducted at SDN 15 Padang Sarai, Padang City. Based on the results of the posttest obtained the average learning outcomes of solving story problems in control class students who apply conventional learning is 53.9. And the average value of learning outcomes in solving the story questions for the experimental class students by applying the Polya strategy is 72.4. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test on the real level α = 0.05 obtained t_count = 2.84 and ttable = 1.997, so that t_count> t table then Ha in this study was accepted and rejected H0. It can be concluded that Polya's strategy influences learning outcomes in solving fractional story problems in terms of comparison and scale in class V SD gugus X Kecataman Koto Tangah city of Padang.

Abstract

Abstrack The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of narrative writing skill by using Examples Non Examples models at grade V student of Elementary School. The type of research is PTK by using qualitative and quantitative approach. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 38 Kuranji, Padang city with a total of 26 students consisting of 15 male students and 11 female students. The result of the narrative writing skill in the pre-writing at cycle I 63,4 (C) increases on cycle II 91,3 (SB). The writing phase in the first cycle 59 (K), increased in the second cycle 85 (B), the post-writing phase cycle I 59 (C) increases in cycle II 85 (B). Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe an increase in intensive reading skills with the DRTA strategy of class III students at SD Negeri 46 Kuranji, Padang City. This type of research is classroom action research, with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were class III students and teachers of SD Negeri 46 Kuranji, Padang City. The results of the research in each cycle showed an increase. The implementation of the teacher aspect of the first cycle was 67.18% (C), the second cycle was 87.5% (B). The implementation of aspects of the first cycle students was 60.93% (C), the second cycle was 90.62% (SB). The students' completeness results in cycle I 69.9 (C), with Prabaca 60.6, when reading 75.0 and post-reading 74.2. While the second cycle 82.5 (B) with Prabaca 78.0, when reading 84.3 and post-reading 85.1. It can be concluded that the DRTA Strategy can improve the intensive reading ability of grade III SDN 46 Kuranji students. Keywords: DRTA strategy, intensive reading ability.
