Abstract

The purpose of this research was to effect of Jigsaw model on student learning outcomes in Social Science Class V at SDN 52 Kuranji kota Padang, in the odd semester of the academic year 2018/2019. This research is a quantitative research with experimental type and quasy experimental research design. Population of this study amounted to 240 people, sampling data is taken by purposive sampling, with a sample of 40 people. Based on the research that has been done, the average posttest of experiment class 78,2 and control class 70,55 with difference 7,65 number, next research obtained t count> t table, 4,388 > 1,6859 with α = 0.05 is means Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, it meaning there is influence the use of Jigsaw model of student learning outcomes in Social Science Class V SDN 52 Kuranji kota Padang.Keyword : Jigsaw model, student learning outcomes IPS

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning type Number Head Together (NHT) on social studies learning outcomes in the grade V of SDN 14 Simpang Ampek Sungai Pua Kabupaten Agam. This research is a type of quantitative research using experimental methods and quasi-experimental research designs. Sampling data is taken by cluster random sampling technique. The sample of this study amounted to 40 people with a population of 122 people. The instruments used in collecting data are objective tests with multiple choice forms. The results of the calculation of the research data used are the t test, obtained obtained t count> t table that is 3.0995> 2.0167 with α = 0.05. Thus there is an effect of the use of Jigsaw cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in social studies learning in the grade V of SDN 14 Simpang Ampek Sungai Pua Kabupaten Agam. Keywords: Number Head Together Cooperative, Student Learning Outcomes, IPS

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using the problem solving method of the Polya model on learning outcomes about the story of the flat-waking class V students of Elementary School 1 North Pariaman. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used simple random sampling technique with the results of several considerations. The instrument used is a test that is a description test. Data analysis techniques in this study used a prerequisite test in the form of normality and homogeneity tests and hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results showed that there was a significant influence in the use of the problem solving model method on the learning outcomes of the story about the flat-building area of class V SD Cluster 1 North Pariaman. This is evidenced by the results of the t-test with a significance level of 5% obtained tcount = 3.71 > ttable = 1.72. Mathematics learning outcomes obtained by the experimental group were higher than in the control group, indicated by the control group mean = 73.09 and the mean obtained by the experimental group = 87.18.
