Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of inflation and price stability to the purchasing power of people in Indonesia using a literature review approach. Inflation is defined as a phenomenon of general and continuous increases in the prices of goods and services that can erode people's real income. Secondary data covering the period from 2020 to 2025 shows significant fluctuations in the inflation rate and its impact on consumption capacity. The results of the data analysis indicate that the highest inflation rate occurred in 2022 at 5.51%, which coincided with the lowest point of real purchasing power. Conversely, during the 2023–2025 period, controlled inflation and the stability of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) contributed positively to an increase in real purchasing power. These findings confirm that there is a close relationship where uncontrolled inflation reduces purchasing power, while price stability plays a crucial role in maintaining the economic welfare of the community. This research recommends the importance of government policies in maintaining price stability to protect the public from economic pressure.

Abstract

This study aims to predict the stock price of PT Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk, listed under the ticker symbol HEXA, using the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) method in RStudio. The data used consist of monthly HEXA stock prices. Historical data from January 2021 to April 2025 were used as the model training dataset, while actual data from May 2025 to April 2026 were used as a benchmark for evaluating prediction results. The main forecasting period in this study covers May 2026 to December 2027. The research stages include data pattern identification, the Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) stationarity test, differencing, ACF and PACF analysis, model selection based on AIC and BIC, parameter significance testing, diagnostic checking using the Ljung-Box test and Q-Q Plot, and accuracy measurement using MAPE, MAE, and RMSE. Based on the RStudio output, the best model is ARIMA (0,2,1), with an AIC value of 753.2217 and a BIC value of 757.0457. The accuracy results during the comparison period indicate a MAPE of 5.26%, an MAE of 268.67, and an RMSE of 398.31. The main forecasting results show that the HEXA stock price is predicted to reach 4,400 in May 2026 and 3,947 in December 2027. Although the MAPE value during the comparison period falls into the very good category according to the output table, the findings should still be interpreted cautiously because the Q-Q Plot indicates deviations in the tails of the residual distribution, and the prediction interval becomes wider over a longer forecasting horizon.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital commerce in Indonesia has increased the use of marketplaces and social media as major transaction platforms. However, alongside these developments, various issues related to consumer rights protection continue to emerge. This study aims to analyze the implementation of consumer rights within the digital commerce ecosystem, focusing on users of marketplaces and social media. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of consumer rights in digital commerce has not been fully optimized. Most consumers understand their basic rights but lack comprehensive knowledge regarding consumer protection regulations, personal data protection, and dispute resolution mechanisms. Marketplaces generally provide better consumer protection through complaint handling systems, refund features, and seller rating mechanisms, while transactions conducted through social media tend to pose higher risks due to limited supervision and the absence of standardized protection mechanisms. The major challenges identified include low consumer awareness of their rights, product-information discrepancies, online fraud risks, slow complaint responses, and inadequate monitoring of social commerce activities. The study concludes that effective consumer protection in digital commerce requires collaboration among government institutions, digital platform providers, business actors, and consumers through improved digital literacy, stronger regulatory enforcement, and enhanced transaction security systems.

Abstract

Belitung Regency possesses considerable local economic potential, supported by tourism, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), the creative economy, and the fisheries sector. However, these potentials have not been fully realized as part of a strong regional identity in city branding. This study aims to analyze the role of the smart economy in strengthening city branding based on local economic potential in Belitung Regency. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed using a survey of 50 respondents, comprising MSME actors, creative economy practitioners, and tourism business operators. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive statistics, indicator ranking, and SWOT analysis. The results indicate that the implementation of the Smart Economy is at a moderate level, with an average score of 3.47. Innovative spirit (3.85), entrepreneurship (3.72), and economic opportunity (3.51) emerged as the dominant factors supporting local economic development. Meanwhile, city branding also remains at a moderate level, with an average score of 3.28, and is still largely characterized by a tourism-oriented image. Local economic potential, such as MSMEs, the creative economy, traditional culinary products, and fisheries products, has not yet developed into a primary representation of regional identity. The findings reveal that the smart economy does not directly lead to strong city branding. Its contribution depends on the region’s ability to integrate innovation, digital transformation, and local flagship products into a consistent territorial identity. This study highlights the importance of an economic branding approach to strengthen the identity and competitiveness of Belitung Regency sustainably.

Abstract

Increasing consumer attention to environmental issues encourages companies to integrate sustainability into their marketing strategies, including through the development of sustainability-based brand extensions. In the beauty industry, Wardah implements this strategy through the Wardah Nature Series which carries the concept of Halal Green Beauty. This study aims to analyze the influence of environmental concern and brand image on attitude toward brand extension with brand extension fit as a mediating variable in Generation Z in Padang City. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative design. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 138 Generation Z respondents in Padang City who had used Wardah products with purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method with the help of SmartPLS software. The results of the study show that brand image has a positive and significant effect on attitude toward brand extension and brand extension fit. Environmental concerns have a positive and significant effect on brand extension fit, but do not have a significant effect directly on attitude toward brand extension. In addition, brand extension fit has a positive and significant effect on attitude toward brand extension and is able to mediate the influence of environmental concerns and brand image on attitude toward brand extension. These findings show that consumer acceptance of the Wardah Nature Series is not only influenced by concern for the environment and brand image, but also by the perception of conformity between the parent brand and the expanded product. Therefore, brand extension fit and a strong brand image are important factors in increasing consumer acceptance of sustainability-based brand extensions.

Abstract

The quick expansion of social commerce via TikTok Shop has led businesses to use influencers as a way to promote products and increase the likelihood that consumers will make purchases. This research investigates how influencers' credibility affects the intention to buy skincare products, with a focus on trust in influencers as an intermediary factor among residents of Padang City. This study used a quantitative method, specifically a survey, involving 144 TikTok users who had viewed influencer content about skincare products. The study employed purposive sampling as the method for selecting participants, and the data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the help of the SmartPLS 4 software. The findings show that influencer credibility has a positive and significant impact on trust in influencers (β = 0.752; p < 0.001) as well as on the intention to make a purchase (β = 0.474; p < 0.001). There is a positive and significant relationship between trust in influencers and the intention to make a purchase, (β = of 0.428 and p < 0.001). Additionally, it was found that trust in influencers partially mediated the link between influencer credibility and purchase intention (β = 0.322; p < 0.001). This suggests that influencer credibility can boost purchase intention both directly and indirectly by building greater consumer trust. Therefore, when consumers perceive a higher level of credibility in an influencer, they tend to trust that influencer more and are more likely to intend to buy skincare products that are promoted on TikTok Shop.

Abstract

The performance of employees is a critical factor that defines the success of the organization, especially in the case of the agencies of the public service, which require greater efficiency and professionalism. However, the achievement of ideal performance cannot be separated with the role of motivation of work and job satisfaction of each employee. This paper aims to explore and examine the impact of work motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance at the Makassar Regional Airport Authority Office, both on a partial and simultaneous basis. The quantitative research design was selected, and the multiple linear regression analysis was used. The process of acquiring data was based on a structured questionnaire, which was administered to all the employees, with the help of a saturated sampling strategy. The outcomes of the analysis indicate that work motivation has a positive and significant influence on the employee performance, and job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence as well. The improvement in employee performance is more pronounced when both variables are taken together that is evidenced by an adjusted R-squared of 68.6. These results indicate that the role of employee motivation and satisfaction on organizational performance is significant and, therefore, the management of institutions must focus on developing methods that can enhance intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and the establishment of work environments that promote employee satisfaction to guarantee continued enhancement of organizational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the capability of multi-actors in fulfilling fertilizer needs in Maros Regency through the perspective of collaborative governance and public value governance. The fulfillment of subsidized fertilizer needs is not merely a technical issue related to availability and distribution, but also a governance issue involving the interaction of government actors, business actors, citizens, and nonprofit actors in creating collective capability. This study adopts the strategic triangle perspective developed by John M. Bryson, particularly focusing on operational capability within multi-actor governance. The study employs a qualitative approach using phenomenological methods to explore the experiences, perceptions, and awareness of actors involved in fertilizer governance in Maros Regency. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving the Regent of Maros, DPRD members, the Department of Agriculture and Food Security, agricultural extension workers, PT Pupuk Indonesia, PT Lampoko Ternak Indonesia, fertilizer agents, farmer groups, and HKTI Youth Farmers. The findings reveal that the capability of multi-actors in fertilizer governance remains fragmented and unevenly distributed. Government actors possess formal authority and normative capability but face limitations in technical and operational capability, particularly in digital data management, eRDKK implementation, and verification of farmer and land data. Business actors such as PT Pupuk Indonesia demonstrate strong technical and logistical capability, yet their effectiveness is constrained by weak data synchronization with local government institutions. Agricultural extension workers maintain strong relational capability with farmers but lack adaptive and technological competence. Farmers and farmer organizations remain structurally vulnerable because of low administrative capability and limited integration into decision-making processes. This study concludes that fertilizer governance in Maros Regency reflects fragmented capability rather than collaborative capability. Therefore, strengthening relational capability, digital integration, collaborative coordination, and participatory governance are necessary to create effective public value in fertilizer distribution.

Abstract

Hospitals are required to effectively manage their nursing workforce to maintain the quality and sustainability of healthcare services. One of the major challenges faced by nurses is Burnout resulting from high Job Demands. This study aims to analyze the effect of Job Demands on Burnout with Work-Life Balance as a mediating variable among inpatient nurses at Lubuk Basung Regional General Hospital. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive causal design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 109 inpatient nurses at Lubuk Basung Regional General Hospital using a total sampling (census) technique. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results show that Job Demands has a positive and significant effect on Burnout. Job Demands also has a negative and significant effect on Work-Life Balance, and Work-Life Balance has a negative and significant effect on Burnout. Furthermore, Work-Life Balance is proven to partially mediate the effect of Job Demands on Burnout. These findings indicate that higher job demands experienced by nurses reduce their ability to maintain work-life balance, which in turn increases the risk of Burnout.
