Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of information technology implementation on the effectiveness and efficiency of services at PKU Muhammadiyah Mayong Jepara Hospital. The application of information technology is expected to improve service quality by facilitating quick, accurate, and easy access to medical information. In this study, a descriptive quantitative approach was used to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of hospital services, involving 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling method. Data was collected through observation and questionnaires, and analyzed using multiple linear regression method with the help of SPSS software version 25. The results showed that the application of information technology has a significant influence on the effectiveness and efficiency of hospital services. Effectiveness is measured based on patient satisfaction, appropriate clinical decision-making, and prevention of medical errors. While efficiency is measured through indicators of BOR (Bed Occupancy Rate), ALOS (Average Length of Stay), TOI (Turn Over Interval), and BTO (Bed Turn Over). The implementation of information systems is proven to be able to improve productivity, reliability, and speed of hospital services. This research provides a theoretical contribution in understanding the role of information technology in the health sector, as well as providing practical benefits for hospital management in improving service strategies that are more efficient and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the provisions in Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 17 of 2023 concerning Catastrophic Disease Control, especially related to the financing of the National Health Insurance (JKN) based on the principle of dignified justice. This study uses a normative legal method with a legislative and comparative approach, as well as descriptive-analytical specifications. The analysis was carried out by examining related regulations, government responsibilities, and comparative studies with other countries such as the United States, England, Canada, and Australia. The results of the study indicate several challenges in the implementation of catastrophic disease control in Indonesia, especially in financing through JKN. Although Law Number 17 of 2023 has provided a comprehensive legal framework, there are gaps in the efficient use of JKN funds and disparities in access to health services between urban and rural areas. In addition, this study also found that the role of the government as a regulator and service provider creates potential conflicts of interest. Based on the legal analysis conducted, policy recommendations are proposed to improve the regulation and implementation of catastrophic disease control through improving institutional structures, increasing financing transparency, and strengthening the role of government in ensuring fair and quality access.

Abstract

Dandruff is a common scalp problem characterized by flaking, itching, and redness. One of the causes of dandruff is the fungus Candida albicans. Under certain conditions, such as excessive oil production, this fungus can grow and become pathogenic. Butterfly pea flower is a plant known to contain antifungal compounds, including tannins, flavonoids, saponins, and alkaloids. This study aims to determine the antifungal activity of ethanol extract from butterfly pea flower against Candida albicans using SDA (Sabouraud Dextrose Agar) medium with the disk diffusion method. The concentrations of butterfly pea extract used were 5%, 15%, 30%, 60%, and 90%. The positive control used was ketoconazole, while the negative control was 1% CMC-Na. The results of the study indicate that the butterfly pea extract exhibits antifungal activity, as evidenced by the formation of an inhibition zone at a concentration of 90%, with an average inhibition zone of 3.7 mm. The positive control showed an inhibition zone of 14.38 mm, categorized as strong. In contrast, the negative control did not show any inhibition zone due to the lack of antifungal activity. Based on these results, it can be concluded that butterfly pea (Clitoria ternatea L.) has the potential for weak antifungal activity against Candida albicans.

Abstract

Waste is the result of human activities and comes from a natural process, where waste often causes problems, especially in public places. The market is an important means of trade for the community so that it has the potential to produce quite a lot of waste. The market is a certain place, where sellers and buyers meet, including facilities where sellers can display their merchandise by paying a fee, (Environmental Health Requirements TTU, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia 1993). The research method used is observational with a descriptive approach. Sampling by Randong Sampling, where the sample size obtained was 211 people / traders, the collection was carried out with an observation sheet in the form of a checklist. The results of the observation showed that out of 211 traders, only 2 traders (0.9%) had good category trash containers and 209 traders (99.1%) had sufficient category trash containers, this shows that the existence of good trash containers in Kariango Market is still lacking. The results of data collection in the field, the collection system showed that out of 211 traders (100%) the collection of trash was in a good category. Garbage transportation can be seen that from 211 traders who were sampled, 208 traders (98.6%) transportation is categorized as good and 3 traders (1.4%) transportation is categorized as sufficient. For traders who do not have good garbage containers, they should immediately have good containers and what must be considered is that the material of the garbage container must be strong enough, waterproof, easy to fill, empty and easy to clean. The Department of Cleanliness, Parks and Fire of Pinrang Regency in order to maximize the transportation process should carry out transportation twice a week, namely after every market day.
