Abstract

ABSTRACT The Meubobo alang tradition is a form of intangible cultural heritage that is still preserved by the Kluet community in South Aceh. This ritual is an important part of the Sunat rasul (Prophetic Circumcision) procession. In this ritual, the boy to be circumcised is paraded using an alang (a sedan chair or litter adorned with traditional ornaments), accompanied by prayers and various symbols of respect. This study was aimed to be uncovered the cultural meaning, historical background, and social function of the Meubobo alang tradition within the life structure of the Kluet community. Using a qualitative approach with an ethnographic method, data was collected through direct field observation, in-depth interviews with customary figures and families who practice the tradition, as well as the review of cultural documents. The research findings indicate that Meubobo alang does not only serve as a series of ceremonial activities but also contains spiritual, symbolic, and social values deeply rooted in the local culture. This tradition plays a role in maintaining harmonious family relations, reinforcing ethnic identity, and serving as a medium for transmitting moral values and character to the younger generation. Amidst the current of change and the influence of modernization, Meubobo alang maintains an important position as a form of local wisdom preservation that unites customary values with the principles of Islamic teachings. Thus, this tradition not only reflects cultural continuity but also demonstrates the Kluet community’s ability to preserve their identity and ancestral values.

Abstract

Vocabulary plays a vital role in effective communication, academic success, and future opportunities, yet many students face difficulties in mastering a large number of words, understanding contextual usage, and pronouncing them correctly. With the rise of digital technology, language learning applications such as Duolingo have emerged as interactive and gamified tools that make vocabulary learning more engaging and accessible. This study aims to systematically review the studies on the effect or effectiveness of Duolingo in improving English vocabulary mastery among junior high school students through a systematic literature review. Using the PRISMA approach, twenty-four relevant experimental studies published between 2020 and 2025 were selected from databases such as Google Scholar and Semantic Scholar. The studies were analyzed descriptively to identify common patterns, methods, and outcomes related to the use of Duolingo in vocabulary instruction. The findings reveal that Duolingo consistently enhances students’ vocabulary achievement, motivation, and participation due to its game-based features and flexible learning environment. However, several studies highlight limitations such as the absence of comparative analyses with other learning tools and the limited exploration of long-term retention. Overall, the results confirm Duolingo’s potential as an effective supplementary tool for vocabulary learning, supporting educators in developing innovative and engaging English learning models. Further research is recommended to explore its integration into classroom settings and its impact on diverse learner groups.

Abstract

CV Kharisma Lestari is a retail business that faces obstacles in its sales and inventory management systems due to its continued use of manual processes. This study aims to develop a Point of Sales (POS) Information System by applying the prototyping method to improve the operational efficiency of CV Kharisma Lestari. The prototyping method was chosen for its ability to actively involve users from the early stages, so that the resulting system can meet their needs and expectations. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with prototyping stages : communication, quick plan, modeling quick design, construction of prototype, and deployment delivery and feedback. The results of the study show that the POS system developed successfully automates the sales transaction process, manages inventory data in real-time, and generates accurate inventory and sales reports. The implementation of this system has a significant impact on reducing transaction time by up to 70% and increasing inventory data accuracy. The System Usability Scale (SUS) test on the system resulted in a score of 85.8, which indicates a very high level of user acceptance (usability). Thus, the prototyping method has proven to be effective in producing an information system that is not only functional but also easy to use, as it is able to capture user needs and feedback.

Abstract

Organizations must incorporate ecological values into their human resource management strategies due to the growing environmental crisis and the global commitment to sustainable development. In order to drive corporate sustainability performance holistically, green human resource management, or GHRM, has become a critical strategic imperative. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this study attempts to map and synthesize the development trends, determinants, and results of GHRM implementation. For eighteen peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2020 and 2025, the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines were strictly followed during the review process. According to the synthesis results, green hiring, environmental training, and environmentally-based performance reviews are examples of GHRM practices that consistently show a positive and significant impact on organizational sustainability. Internal elements like Organizational Green Culture (OGC) and Green Innovation (GI) played a major role in mediating this influence. The results demonstrated that GHRM is a successful strategic bridge that enhances social and environmental performance, boosts organizational competitiveness, and raises employee affective commitment and job satisfaction. A strong HRM system and support from Green Transformational Leadership are important antecedent factors that drive GHRM success. The majority of previous research uses cross-sectional designs and concentrates on Asian contexts. In order to more thoroughly confirm causal relationships and guarantee the generalizability of results, this gap emphasizes the necessity of future longitudinal research and cross-cultural or cross-industry comparative studies. All things considered, GHRM is a vital tool for contemporary businesses to strike a balance between financial success and environmental responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect influence of the role of parents, the role of lecturers, and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) students at UHKBPNP using the Path Analysis method. Data processing was carried out using the SPSS program. The prerequisite test showed that the model met the assumption of normality and was free from multicollinearity. The findings showed: (1) The role of parents did not have a significant direct influence on learning outcomes. (2) The role of lecturers had a significant direct influence on learning outcomes. (3) Learning motivation had a significant direct influence on learning outcomes. Furthermore, the analysis revealed that the role of parents and the role of lecturers indirectly influenced learning outcomes significantly through the mediating role of learning motivation. This study concluded that learning motivation functions as a central psychological mechanism that bridges the influence of environmental factors (the role of parents and lecturers) on improving student learning outcomes. Environmental support becomes optimal only when it succeeds in fostering strong internal motivation in students.

Abstract

This systematic literature review (SLR) analyzes the strategic role of tech self-efficacy as a driver of innovation and organizational performance in various multidisciplinary contexts. Applying the PRISMA protocol, 144 articles were identified from the Scopus database and supplementary sources, and 32 studies met the final inclusion criteria (2020–2025). Using the CIMO (Context-Intervention-Mechanism-Outcome) framework, this review synthesizes empirical findings from the fields of education, technology, entrepreneurship, and workplace inclusion. The results indicate that tech self-efficacy consistently improves innovative behavior, technology adoption, creativity, and organizational performance, mediated by organizational support, inclusive leadership, digital readiness, and trust in AI. Methodological trends are dominated by quantitative approaches, particularly Structural Equation Modeling, while qualitative and mixed methods studies are still limited. Geographically, publications are dominated by China, creating a gap in cross-cultural representation, particularly in Africa and Latin America. Theoretically, research still relies on Social Cognitive Theory, Technology Acceptance Model, and Diffusion of Innovation. Despite the rapidly growing literature, it demonstrates conceptual fragmentation, a lack of integration of cultural and temporal dynamics, and limited discussion of the digital divide and psychological well-being in technology-based workplaces. This SLR provides a more holistic conceptual understanding of tech self-efficacy and offers a multidimensional framework for future research. Recommendations include expanding cross-cultural studies, utilizing mixed methods , and exploring new topics such as AI self-efficacy, digital resilience, and inclusive innovation ecosystems.

Abstract

Thriving at work has emerged as a central construct in contemporary organizational behavior research, particularly in response to post pandemic transformations in work design, technology use, and employee well-being. This integrative systematic literature review synthesizes evidence from 50 Scopus indexed journal articles published between 2020 and 2025, following the PRISMA protocol to ensure transparency and methodological rigor. The review maps the theoretical foundations, research designs, contextual settings, and key empirical findings related to thriving at work. The synthesis reveals that thriving is predominantly grounded in Conservation of Resources Theory, Self Determination Theory, the Job Demands Resources model, and the Socially Embedded Model of Thriving. Empirical findings consistently identify supportive leadership, job resources, and individual psychological capabilities as dominant antecedents, while thriving robustly predicts employee performance, innovative behavior, work engagement, well-being, and reduced turnover intentions. Despite this progress, the literature remains methodologically homogeneous, relying heavily on cross sectional quantitative designs and self reported data, with limited longitudinal, multilevel, and cross cultural investigations. This review highlights notable geographic concentration in Asia, particularly within high pressure service sectors, underscoring the need for broader contextual validation. In response, the study proposes an integrative research agenda that emphasizes longitudinal designs, hybrid and digital work contexts, and the incorporation of emotional and technological demands. By consolidating fragmented findings, this review contributes to theoretical refinement and offers strategic directions for advancing high impact research on thriving at work.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Marriage Wage Premium (MWP) phenomenon among Generation Z (Gen Z) workers in Indonesia, with a focus on wage differences between those who are married and those who are unmarried. Using data from the National Labor Force Survey for the period of August 2018-2023 published by BPS-Statistics Indonesia, this research employs a logit regression analysis method to explore the impact of marital status on the probability of earning a low wage. The analysis results show that marital status significantly affects the likelihood of earning a low wage, with married workers having a 5.09% higher probability of earning a low wage compared to unmarried workers. Additionally, the analysis reveals that married female workers are more likely to earn a low wage compared to married male workers, with a larger gap observed among women. These findings contradict the classical MWP theory, which asserts that married workers, particularly men, tend to have higher wages. This result suggests that factors such as a more flexible labor market structure, changes in social norms, and the dominance of the informal sector and gig economy may contribute to this phenomenon. Based on these findings, it is recommended that labor policies in Indonesia give more attention to work flexibility and work-life balance, especially for young workers. Programs supporting informal sector workers and policies aimed at reducing gender-based wage disparities are also necessary to create a more equitable labor market for Gen Z.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine literature related to the development of hybrid Learning Management Systems (LMS), focusing on system integration models, cross-platform usability aspects, and their effectiveness in supporting student engagement and learning outcomes. The review was conducted using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Out of a total of 1,342 identified publications, 25 studies met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed further. The synthesis results indicate that hybrid LMS integration is still largely dominated by technical approaches, such as the use of APIs, interoperability standards, and hybrid recommendation systems. However, most studies have not yet fully incorporated pedagogical principles into the system design. Usability analysis reveals that web platforms tend to be more capable of supporting complex learning activities, while mobile platforms offer flexibility but are limited by deeper navigation structures and interface consistency challenges. In terms of effectiveness, several studies reported increased engagement and support for adaptive learning, although empirical evidence regarding impacts on learning outcomes remains limited. Overall, the success of hybrid LMS depends on alignment between technical integration, UX design, and pedagogical needs. Future research is recommended to develop and evaluate hybrid LMS prototypes that meaningfully integrate structured and self-directed learning, conduct in-depth cross-platform usability evaluations, and explore hybrid LMS models that incorporate artificial intelligence (AI) as an adaptive component within the learning process.

Abstract

The rapid growth of healthy food micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia is driven by increasing consumer awareness of health and environmental sustainability. Nevertheless, intense competition and low switching costs pose challenges for MSMEs in sustaining long-term customer loyalty. This study aims to examine the effects of the marketing mix (7P) and green marketing on customer loyalty, with perceived value and customer satisfaction as mediating variables. A quantitative research design with a cross-sectional survey approach was employed. Data were collected from customers of healthy food MSMEs in Bekasi using structured questionnaires. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to assess both direct and indirect relationships among variables. The results indicate that the marketing mix (7P) and green marketing have significant positive effects on perceived value, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty. Perceived value and customer satisfaction also significantly influence customer loyalty and partially mediate the relationships between marketing mix, green marketing, and loyalty. These findings suggest that integrating conventional marketing strategies with sustainability-oriented practices is essential for enhancing customer loyalty in healthy food MSMEs. This study contributes to the literature by proposing an integrated model that combines marketing mix and green marketing in explaining customer loyalty, particularly within a developing-country and peri-urban context. Practically, the findings highlight the importance of improving service quality, pricing transparency, and credible green practices to strengthen competitiveness and customer retention.
