Abstract

The space l^p with 1≤p∞ is the set of real numbers that satisfy _(n=1)^∞▒〖|x_n |^p∞〗.The function in the vector space X which has real value which fulfills the norm-2 properties is denoted by ,⋅‖ and the pair (X,‖⋅,⋅‖) is called the norm-2 space.A norm-2 space is said to be complete or called a Banach-2 space if every Cauchy sequence in the space converges to an element in that space.This research was conducted to prove the l^p space in the complete norm-2.The first step to prove the completeness is to prove that the norm contained in l^p with 1≤p∞ satisfies the properties of norm-2.Next, prove that the norm derived from norm-2 is equivalent to the norm in l^p.Next shows that every Cauchy sequence in space l^p converges to an element in space l^p.Based on this proof, it is found that (l^p,‖⋅,⋅‖) is a complete norm-2 space.

Abstract

Since the pandemic of Covid-19 was happened in Indonesia, the government shared the letter of The Ministry of Education and Higher Culture Education Directorate No.1, year 2020 about prevention of the spread of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) in higher education. Through the letter, The Ministry of Education and Culture gave an instruction for college to organize online learning and suggested students to study at their home. Online learning which was considered as a strategy then became a controversy because it needed adaption. This sudden change from normal learning to online learning caused many responses from students. The aim of this research was to analyze student sentiment or responses on online learning in this pandemic era of Covid-19 in Indonesia by using data which had been collected using questionnaire and processed using naïve bayes classifier method. This research was case study descriptive quantitative research. The research was done by collecting the data first. The data was collected through questionnaire with the question about their opinion on online learning in this pandemic Covid-19 era. The data was 157 student’s data opinion on online learning. After the data was collected, the data was cleaned first from question mark and the words which didn’t give an effect in sentiment analysis. After the data was cleaned, then the result of the classification will be showed as well as the accuracy which the model earned. The result showed that online learning had negative sentiment more than positive sentiment. The height of negative sentiment was caused by discomfort of student in online learning. The word which frequently showed was ‘tidak efektif’, ‘susah’, and ‘tugas’. The accuracy of this model was 75% when the result of this accuracy was good result in classification.

Abstract

The security of secret messages is an important aspect that must be preserved to prevent public knowledge of the information contained within. One way to secure messages is by utilizing the assistance of cryptography. By employing algorithms found in cryptography, messages are disguised in a manner that makes them difficult to decipher. In this research, the DNA algorithm is used in the key generation process of the Elgamal algorithm. The objective of this research is to enhance the security of plaintext by modifying the key generation process, thereby making it difficult for others to crack the key. The result of this research is the encrypted private key x using the DNA algorithm and the public key g, which is a primitive root of the selected prime number that is further encrypted using the DNA algorithm, resulting in a new public key. Consequently, prior to encrypting the plaintext, decryption of the public key must be performed first.

Abstract

The measles distribution model is a system of differential equations that is included in a continuous dynamic system. This research focuses on transforming the continuous form into discrete form by discretization using non-standard finite difference and stability analysis which is then carried out by numerical simulations to prove its stability graphically. Based on the analysis, it is found that the measles distribution model which is assumed to have two fixed points, namely the disease-free fixed point (R_01) and the endemic fixed point (R_01), is stable. The stability of the two fixed points is proven by the Schur-Cohn criteria and is obtained stable with the condition 0ϕ(h)≤5 which meets the value of h0. The results of the numerical simulation show that the measles distribution model is dynamically consistent and tends to the fixed point. In addition, numerical simulations show that the larger the value of h, the more the graph tends to the fixed point.

Abstract

A decomposition of graph G is collection of subgraphs 〖{H_i}〗_(i=1)^n from G such that H_i [E_i] for E_i is a subset of E(G) and 〖{E_i}〗_(i=1)^n is a partition of E(G). The purpose of the research was to determine the decomposition of the banana tree graph B_(m,n), for m≥1 and n≥2. The research method used in this research is library research. The steps used to determine the decomposition of the banana tree graph B_(m,n) are as follow: (a) Draw a banana tree graph B_(m,n) and label each edge and vertex, (b) Determine the partition on the edges of the banana tree graph B_(m,n), (c) Induced subgraph of from partitions of the banana tree graph B_(m,n), (d) Determine the decomposition of the banana tree graph B_(m,n), (e) Tabulate a conjecture on the decomposition of the banana tree graph B_(m,n), (f) Construct theorem of the decomposition theorem of of the banana tree graph B_(m,n) and its proof. The result of the reasearch is with m≥1 and n≥2, because banana tree graph B_(m,n) is decomposed by the complete graph 〖mK〗_2-decomposition.

Abstract

One of the subdivisions of fuzzy logic is the study of the fuzzy database with Tahani model which is described as a model used to process data searches based on operations in fuzzy set theory to obtain appropriate information so that the data search process becomes accurate. The research aims to implement the Fuzzy Database with Tahani Model in determining the appropriate variant of batik tulis with the specified criteria. The initial step of the research is fuzzification, namely determining the domain of each complete variables with intervals of numerical variables and linguistic variables. In this research some variables were used: the price of the cloth, the number of colors and the work durations. Each variable is divided based on the interval between the lowest data and the highest data so that the variable price of the cloth is divided into 4, the number of colors is 3, and the work durations is 5. Then determine the membership function, the variable price of cloth, the number of colors, and the work duration using a linear model and triangle in determining the degree of its membership. Data tabulation from strict sets to fuzzy sets with numerical variables and linguistic variables. In preparing the criteria, 60 rule bases are based on the theory of consumer needs for batik tulis. Not all rule bases occur, because the data collects only a few criteria. Determining the value of fire strength, using the AND rule means selecting the minimum degree of membership from the available. The recommendation results determine to sort the washing machine data that has the highest fire strength value to the smallest fire strength value from each criterion.

Abstract

Persamaan gelombang dua dimensi merupakan  persamaan diferensial parsial  yang merupakan representasi dari gelombang permukaan yang dihasilkan oleh aliran air.  Tujuan daripada penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis solusi numerik persamaan gelombng dua dimensi dengan menggunakan metode beda hingga skema eksplisit CTCS (Center Time Center Space). Ada beberapa langkah untuk menyelesaiakan persamaan ini, diantaranya diskritisasi pada persamaan gelombang dua, diskritisasi terhadap kondisi awal serta kondisi batasnya dimensi dengan metode beda hingga pusat terhadap waktu dan ruang. Langkah selanjutnya adalah menentukan syarat kestabilan dan syarat konsistensi untuki menunjukkan bahwa solusi numerik tersebut mendekati solusi analitik. Setelah diperoleh syarat kestabilan dan konsistensi dari skema yang digunakan maka simulasi dari skema yang digunakan dapat dilakukan. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode beda hingga skema eksplisit CTCS pada persaman gelombang dua dimensi stabil dengan syarat tertentu.  Dari syarat  kekonvergenannya skema eksplisit CTCS pada persamaan gelombang dua dimensi diperoleh order errornya . Selanjutnya untuk penelitian  dapat meneliti tentang solusi analitik persamaan gelombang dua dimensi dengan menggunakan kondisi batas Neumann

Abstract

Survival analysis is a statistical method used to analyze data with time until the occurrence of a certain event which is commonly referred to as "failure". One of the objectives of survival analysis is to determine the effect of predictor variables on survival time. The purpose of this study was to determine the regression model and determine the hazard ratio of each factor that is thought to affect the survival of cervical cancer patients. The results of this study showed that the factors that influence patients with cervical cancer in their survival are stage II and stage III variables (the patient’s stage), complications, and a history of pregnancy (who have children 0-2).

Abstract

Forest fires are a serious problem that almost always occur in Indonesia every dry season. In 2019 and 2023, many forest fires occurred, especially in Gambus land, due to the prolonged El-Nino phenomenon. This has a negative impact on the economy, social and environment. Therefore, clustering is an important effort to find out the location of areas where forest fires occur. Clustering is a technique used in data mining which works by searching and grouping data that has the same characteristics between one data and other data obtained. This research aims to determine the results of clustering of hotspot distribution patterns in forest fires in Indonesia using the ST-DBSCAN method. The ST-DBSCAN method is a clustering method used to group data using spatial and temporal parameters. The results of this research produced five clusters, noise of 31, and silhouette coefficient of 0.401 with optimal parameters, there are Eps1 = 0.3, Eps2 = 7, and MinPts = 14.

Abstract

This study discusses the formulation of a mathematical model of string vibration when subjected to mass. There are two variables resulting from the formulation of the model, namely the deflection of the string  and the angle of the string . The deflection of the string  and the angle of the string .  are affected by the friction force, tension force, spring force, and gravity. Then the identification of the working potential and kinetic energy is carried out to obtain the Lagrange equation of the deflection and angle of the string. Based on the formulation steps that have been described, the mathematical model obtained is an ordinary differential equation of the order of one to the power of two. Furthermore, the model is calculated numerically by assigning values to the parameters involved. So it is known that with a string mass of 0.005 kg, 0.05 kg, 0.5 kg, a string mass of 0.075 kg, and an object radius of 0.07 m, it is known that the deflection of the string  is greater if the object's mass is greater. While the angle of the string is in a state of equilibrium before being subjected to a mass and experiencing vibration after being subjected to a mass.
