Abstract

Digital signage is a digital information board whose function is to replace conventional information boards, digital signage can contain digital information such as text, images and video. Nowadays digital signage has been widely developed as an information medium. such as prayer schedule information, advertising media and expression speech. The use of computers for digital operation there are still some drawbacks such as large device sizes and expensive realtive prices, therefore micro-computer use such as raspberry pi for its operation. Micro computers are more practical to use because of their small size and relatively cheaper price than ordinary computers. The result of designing this digital signage system uses two types of systems, namely offline system (localhost) and online system (Web Hosting). The results of the study showed a presentation value of 100% for black box testing in all input fields. RAM usage when using online systems is quite high compared to ram usage when using offline systems, the average use of online system RAM is 476.73 MB while ram usage for offline systems is 395.3 MB. CPU load when using Offline system increased by an average value of 54.45% while CPU load usage on online systems was smaller with an average value of 43.26%. For online systems.

Abstract

The occurrence of differences in weather conditions (rain, temperature, humidity, wind direction and speed) in the city of Pekanbaru from one place to another even though it is still in one sub-district. The difference in rainfall can disturb the community. Many people do not know the information about the weather conditions. The application of technology in the form of sensors as a monitoring system for weather conditions can be used to assist in collecting information data for the local community. The design is made using Arduino which is equipped with an anemometer sensor that functions to measure wind speed, wind direction sensor, DHT11 temperature sensor to detect air temperature and humidity. The data that has been read by the sensor will be sent to the server which is displayed on the web. The data generated in the form of wind speed, wind direction, temperature, and humidity. The test results obtained that the tool can monitor weather conditions with a temperature range of 25oC to 33oC, the resulting temperature accuracy is 95.96%. The humidity accuracy value is 95.91%. The wind speed value generated by nature is 0.00 M/s when the wind conditions do not blow up to 3.05 M/s when the wind conditions blow, the accuracy value obtained from the wind speed sensor is 78.07%. The wind direction shown is northwest, west, southeast, and south. The wind direction when doing the test often shows the southeast cardinal direction. Monitoring is carried out via the internet via a web that is connected to the internet network. Abstract

Abstract Filling gallons is an activity that must be done when the Gallon Water has run out. During this time the campus distribution must first see the depletion or not of Gallon Water. It will take time to check each room, so that a tool is made Monitoring System Availability of Gallon Water Based WEB And Telegram Case Study Room Staff Caltex Riau Polytechnic. This tool is designed using NodeMCU ESP8266 and Non-Contact liquid sensor, sensor data is sent on the server and stored to the database and then displayed to the website page with an average delay of 13.57s, the website has a small loading time value that ranges from 5 to 5.2s, Sensor data is also sent to the Telegram Bot and the data can be viewed on Telegram with a state feature that has the ability to send data as much as 83%, and can also receive notifications if the gallon water is empty with a delivery delay of 10.05s. With this tool, the distribution department can know the information of running out or not gallon water in the room in realtime by monitoring using the server and receiving notifications from telegrams on the distribution officer's mobile phone.

Abstract

Abstract In 2015, forests in the Riau region experienced severe fires that also resulted in haze. The impact of the disaster, especially the Caltex Riau Polytechnic, was disrupted teaching and learning activities. The application of technology in the form of sensors as a system monitoring air quality can be used to assist in making emergency decisions for haze disasters, especially the Caltex Riau Polytechnic environment. The implementation of the GP2Y1010AU0F sensor as a detector for PM10 air levels, the DHT11 sensor as a temperature and humidity detector, the MQ-7 sensor as a detector for carbon monoxide levels in the air and the use of the ESP8266module WiFi as a medium for sending sensor data to the web as a monitoring system for sensors to users. PM10 sensor testing has an average error rate of 8.2% with a comparison tool, a temperature sensor of 8.42% and a humidity sensor of 2.89%. Monitoring is carried out via the internet via the web so that remote monitoring can be carried out as long as it is connected to the internet network. Abstract

Electronic devices often cause an increase in Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) which has two types, namely Conducted Emission and Radiated Emission. One solution to reduce EMI mitigation is to use an EMI filter. Operational Amplifiers (Op Amps) are a form of Linear IC which has a function to amplify electrical signals. This final project will discuss the use of op-amps to minimize near-field EMI. In this case, an op-amp circuit is added to reduce the EMI of the clock source. One of the most important characteristics of the op amp is its extremely low output impedance. This study will design an active EMI filter to reduce conducted emission noise using an active EMI filter (AEF). The designed AEF filter provides excellent conducted emission noise attenuation with pre-filtered noise conducted at 118 dB which is reduced to 108.95 dB and provides excellent conducted emission noise attenuation (up to 9.05 dB).

Abstract

Bakti Timah Karimun Hospital Financial System is a management information system in Bakti Timah Karimun hospital. The purpose of this research is to change the Financial System at Bakti Timah Karimun Hospital from a manual system using paper to a website-based Financial System and to implement a website-based Financial System in the preparation of financial statements at Bakti Timah Karimun Hospital. This research resulted in the Hospital Financial System being built using prototype methods and CI framework at Bakti Timah Karimun Hospital. The construction of the system system was completed on 2 iterations and the work of the system for approximately 3 months. This system was built according to the needs of Bakti Timah Karimun Hospital. The system built can help bakti Timah Karimun Hospital in the process of managing hospital finances. Abstract

One of the areas of facilities and infrastructure that needs to be considered in an area is the field of cleanliness. Waste Disposal Sites (TPS) are facilities that must be owned by every region in Indonesia. A good waste disposal site (TPS) must be fulfilled if the local government wants to tackle the waste problem in its area, therefore the waste disposal site must be established with established procedures and criteria such as distances between settlements, rivers, and roads, as well as no TPS. may interfere with existing facilities in accordance with what was said by Mr. Nofan as section of the TPA and TPS Management Section of the Pekanbaru City DLHK Office. Therefore, the Spatial Analysis of the Location of the Web-Based Disposal Site can assist the DLHK in finding new TPS locations as well as providing geographic information on existing TPS locations. This system is designed using framework CodeIgniter, PHP and MySQL programming languages as the DBMS, and ArcGIS as tools for analysis. After testing by the black box and user acceptance test, it can be concluded that the functionality of the system has succeeded as expected. With this system, the DLHK found it very helpful in determining the new TPS location, this system made their work more effective and efficient. For usability testing carried out with 65 people, the results obtained are 87.5% of users strongly agree. An easy-to-use system, an attractive appearance, and quick information that helps the community determine the location of a new TPS in their place, has made the community agree with this system.

Abstract

Riau Province is an area that has the largest peatland area on the island of Sumatra, namely ± 4.04 million hectares or 56.1% of the total area of ​​peatland in Sumatra (Wahyunto et.al., 2003). Illegal forest burning which often occurs in the province of Riau has resulted in worsening air quality and a haze that hits Riau Province almost every year. The creation of an air quality monitoring system specifically placed in the Caltex Riau Polytechnic environment can assist in making smoke emergency decisions. This system is designed using the NodeMCU ESP8266 as the Master Control Unit (MCU) and uses several sensors, including the GP2Y1010AU0F as a detector for airborne PM10 levels, the DHT11 sensor as a temperature and humidity detector, the MQ-7 sensor as a detector for carbon monoxide levels in the air. Sensor data is sent to the database and displayed on a local website page (localhost) in realtime. PM10 sensor testing has an average error rate with a comparison tool of 9.56%, a temperature sensor of 8.42% and a humidity sensor of 2.89%. With this system, the entire campus academic community will be able to find out information on air quality in real time and help the campus in making smoke haze emergency decisions in the Riau Caltex Polytechnic environment. Abstract

The use of cloud computing service enables clients to access data and information without having to install an application which increases the number of client requests that leads to the increase of server load and could result in overload. In clustering technology, the server workload will be distributed evenly to each server. To run clustering, a platform called Kubernetes is needed. Kubernetes is used for container management. To run a clustering with Kubernetes requires virtualization using LXD. This final project compares the performance of conventional model services and Kubernetes clusters. The test results of two servers in standby condition, the technology that uses the highest CPU and memory is the Kubernetes cluster which reached 104% on CPU usage, while memory usage is 28%. It is because of the nodes that are running on the virtual machine. In busy server conditions, conventional technology is the one that uses the highest CPU and memory due to the high, which reached 1289% on CPU usage while memory usage is 46%. Number of client requests that increase CPU and memory resources.

Abstract

This Long Range communication technology is widely used as a substitute for LTE communication tools, but sending text, images, and voice in Long Range communication has a different performance ratio of transmission time speed. This tool uses two TTGO ESP32 LoRa modules, the tools used to design the application using the MIT App Invertor and an additional device, a USB OTG cable. The way this tool works is to send text, image and voice messages without using a server but using point-to-point communication between two devices. The test results of sending text, images, and voice on Long Range communications that have been carried out in data loss testing conditions, show that the results of sending text messages, the farther the distance, the delivery speed is relatively stable with a delay of 1.2 seconds, while for sending images the delay results are getting bigger which is 3.9 seconds and for voice transmission it is not very compatible because LoRa devices can only send 256 bytes of data packets.   Keywords: Pesan Teks, Gambar, Suara, App Inventor, TTGO ESP32 LoRa.
