Abstract

This study investigates the effects of ascorbic acid and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) supplementationon the physiological responses of thin-tailed sheep subjected to transportation stress. The research was conducted inLakaran Village, Wonosobo District, Tanggamus, Lampung, involving 20 male thin-tailed sheep divided into fourtreatment groups: control (R0), ascorbic acid 100 mg/kg (R1), GABA 0.3 g/head (R2), and a combination of ascorbicacid 100 mg/kg + GABA 0.3 g/head (R3). The results indicate that the combination of ascorbic acid and GABA (R3)significantly reduced body weight loss, demonstrating a synergistic effect in alleviating stress compared to single or nosupplementation. The respiratory rates in the supplemented groups (R1, R2, R3) showed better stabilization than thecontrol group, with R3 approaching normal levels. Although all treatment groups exhibited increased heart rates andrectal temperatures due to the stressful transport environment, the combination approach proved to be more effective inmanaging stress. Overall, this study highlights the potential of ascorbic acid and GABA as suplement strategies toenhance livestock welfare during transportation, contributing to better farming practices.

Abstract

Tourism villages are one of the fastest growing sectors in the creative industry. Healthy workplace conditionsare essential to support employees in generating innovation and creativity. However, workplace health in this sector isoften neglected. This research aims to design a workplace wellness model suitable for creative industry employees intourist villages, using a Grounded Theory approach. The method involved in-depth interviews with 20 employees and 2managers from a pilot tourist village. Data were analyzed through open, axial, and selective coding stages to identifyfactors affecting occupational health. The results revealed that lack of government regulation and supervision, high workpressure, and lack of health facilities are some of the main challenges faced by employees. In addition, low managerialsupport for employee health also worsened workplace conditions. Based on these findings, the proposed workplacehealth model is the socialization and education of existing OSH regulations, establishing partnerships with OSHinstitutions or external parties, managing work stress, and providing better health facilities. This model is expected toimprove the physical and mental well-being of employees, while encouraging productivity and work quality in thecreative industry sector of tourist villages. The main suggestion from this research is the importance of more attentionfrom the management of tourist villages in implementing a comprehensive occupational health policy to create a healthierwork environment and support innovation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of brand awareness and brand attitude on purchaseintention towards Riau Malay woven products "Puteri Mas" in Bengkalis Regency. Specifically, this research aims todetermine whether brand awareness and brand attitude have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. Aquantitative approach with a descriptive method was employed, where the research is systematic, planned, and structuredfrom the initial stage to the research design. Data were collected through field surveys using observations, questionnaires, interviews, library research, and documentation. The results from regression analysis show that brand awareness has apositive and significant effect on consumer purchase intention with a coefficient of 0.369 and a significance value of0.032, while brand attitude also has a positive and significant effect with a coefficient of 0.654 and a significance valueof 0.001. Additionally, t-test results confirm the significant impact of both brand awareness and brand attitude onconsumer purchase intention, as indicated by t-values greater than the critical t-table values. Therefore, brand awarenessand brand attitude are crucial factors in influencing the purchase intention of "Puteri Mas" products in Bengkalis City

Abstract

The imbalance between the current availability of water resources and the need for water is an important problem in almost all regions in Indonesia, so that it requires a conception of the engineering and operation of existing facilities. control and utilization of water as well as management carried out efficiently and effectively in order to meet various needs. As an effort to avoid conflicts of interest, an engineering management of dam operations is needed. This raises the idea of the need for water management engineering existing reservoirs. Based on reservoir water inflow and outflow data from 2019 to 2022, optimization was carried out on the Minimum Demand Analysis (Firm Yield Analysis) and Maximum Analysis of Reservoir Water Release using the Non-Linear Generalized Reduced Gradient (GRG) Method. Inflow and outflow data iterations as a function of objectives and constraints Minimize Reservoir Capacity and Amount of water storage in the reservoir = Inflow, and demand at the Way Sekampung Dam = Outflow obtained by Firm Yield Analysis of 335.62 Million M3 or 335 MCM. Thus, it can be concluded that the effective storage volume that can be allocated for irrigation is located between the minimum reservoir elevation at +250 m and the maximum elevation at +255 m. The results of the volume interpolation of the optimization results obtained with an elevation elevation of + 253.74 m, as well as the optimization results for the total release of reservoir water at 281 MCM, so that the management of water resources can then become a benchmark in the distribution of irrigation water, raw water, hydropower and water conservation. continuously
