Abstract

UKM perabot On merupakan UKM yang sedang berkembang, memiliki masalah untuk mencapai keuntungan maksimal. Keuntungan maksimal dapat diperoleh dengan menerapkan metode optimasi dalam melakukan proses produksi yang memiliki keterbatasan dari sumber daya melalui kapasitas produksi. Metode optimasi yang umum digunakan untuk mendapatkan keuntungan maksimal adalah programa linier (Linear Programming). Keuntungan maksimal melalui linear programming dapat diperoleh dengan menggunakan bantuan aplikasi perangkat lunak POM-QM dengan menentukan jumlah produksi untuk setiap produk yang paling potensial. Pada UKM perabot On produk yang paling potensial adalah pintu dan jendela, berdasarkan pengolahan menggunakan POM-QM untuk kendala menggunakan seluruh bahan baku diperoleh keuntungan maksimal sebesar Rp. 3.000.000,- dengan produksi lima unit pintu dan nol unit jendela. Hasil pengolahan menggunakan POM-QM memberikan jumlah unit produksi per hari dan keuntungan yang berbeda dengan kondisi riil. Penetapan model matematik pada kasus UKM Perabot On harus dikaji ulang sehingga dapat membantu UKM berkembang dimasa datang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the anti-oxidant potential found in natural materials. The antioxidant activity test was carried out on several natural ingredients or common plants that have been known and used for generations by the people of Indonesia. Antioxidant activity testing was carried out using DPPH method using IC50 parameters and natural material samples used were virgin coconut oil from coconut plants, Tanjung leaves and bay leaves. Antioxidant activity test showed that the sample of natural materials used had strong antioxidant activity, it was found that IC50 values were between 50-100 ppm.

Abstract

PT ARK Xpress Internasional is an express company based on freight forwarding services. In this company the number of workers is not calculated optimally according to workload and labor requirements. This can be seen by the large number of workers unemployed in the warehouse section. The number of unemployed workers is quite large, namely 5 to 6 people from 26 warehouse workers resulting in a large number of unused human resources, so that the company's operational costs are wasted. The purpose of this study is to analyze the workload of each warehouse process employee and the labor requirements. From these problems the authors conducted research on how much the workforce should be needed by the company according to the conditions and situation of the company, by using a work sampling method or random sample by calculating the workload of employees. The results of the study show that workload and labor requirements of 3 out of 5 parts of the warehouse have less workload and excessive labor. So it is recommended to reduce the workforce for power weight measurement and revenue protection 3 people, Vas Team 2 people, and manifest bagging 2 people.

Abstract

Dispersion products are widely used in various industries, especially the paint industry. Paint is defined as a liquid that is used to coat the surface of a material with the aim of beautifying, strengthening, or protecting the material. So that the paint produced can be produced properly, then several tests on the dispersing material are carried out including solid content analysis. Solid content is a characteristic that was first carried out to determine the polymer content contained in the finished product. Gravimetric method where the measurement is directly with one tool namely CEM Smart Turbo Moisture / Solid Analizer so that the measurement of solid content is faster compared to using an oven. The results of the average measurement of solid content in sample A were obtained from CEM Smart Turbo Moisture / Solid Analizer 48.05 % and oven 48.35 %, in sample B from CEM Smart Turbo Moisture / Solid Analizer 99.55 % and oven 99, 75 %, and in the C CEM sample Smart Turbo Moisture / Solid Analizer 55.71% and oven 55.94 %. Solid content measurement results obtained from CEM Smart Turbo Moisture / Solid Analizer and oven are still within the limits set by a company.

Abstract

Nutrients are elements in the soil that are needed by plants to grow and develop. Macro nutrients are elements that are needed in large quantities, such as K, Mg and Ca. Micro nutrients are elements that are needed in small amounts, such as Fe and Cu. Nutrient content in palm oil leaves is used as one of the considerations in preparing fertilizer recommendations and knowing the fertility rate of oil palm plants. If nutrients are sufficient, it can increase the production of fresh fruit bunches in oil palm plants. Determination of K, Mg, Ca, Fe and Cu levels was carried out by the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) method. From the research, the results of element K are deficient, the element Mg with nutrient content is 0.22 - 0.39%, the element Ca is 0.41 - 0.67%, the element Fe is 79 - 112 ppm, and the element Cu is 5 - 8 ppm.

Abstract

PT. X is a distributor of beverage companies that produces various soft drinks (soft drinks). The problem that occurs in these distributors is that they have to service many shops located far from warehouses, with locations scattered in several places and limited transportation facilities with an average capacity of 150 boxes / car. The average number of stores that must be visited every day is 40 for one distribution area. Planning the sequence of product distribution to consumers is still based on subjective decisions from the driver and kernet, so the product distribution time is less than the maximum. This research will design a product delivery route applying the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) model to optimize the distribution route. This research uses store sorting method namely Nearest Neighbor and Branch and Bound methods with the help of WinQSB software so that the best product delivery route is obtained. These results can be seen with more optimal mileage, travel time and costs. Based on data processing, it was found that the best X product delivery route at the distributor of PT X Bukittingi was obtained using the Branch and Bound store ordering method.

Abstract

Preparasi dan karakterisasi film TiO2 untuk reaktor fotokatalitik film TiO2-UV telah dilakukan dalam penelitian ini. Film TiO2 yang paling optimum didapat saat dipreparasi dari suspensi TiO2 dan amilum dalam aquabidest dengan perbandingan (4 : 1: 25) wt.% yang dicoating dengan teknik screen-printing. Karakterisasi untuk sifat-sifat psikokimia dilakukan dengan XRD, TGA/SDTA, pengukuran Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) dan SEM. Permukaan filmTiO2 yang diperoleh cukup merata ditunjukkan dari hasil analisis SEM dengan catalyst loading 0,0225 g/cm2 dan ketebalan ± 0,3 µm pada permukaan support keramik. Abstract

Soap is a cleancer that every human needs, clean, free of acne and smooth skin is the desire of human every human, especially women. Soap is used as a dirt-cleaning agent, especially for dirt that is a fat or oil by emulsifying them. Stepping from the above statement, in accordance with the concept of bact to nature, then try to develop a formulation of transparent soap, a combination of VCO with catechin. Soap is product of a mixture of salt, sodium with stearic, palmitic and oleic acids containing a few components of myristic acid dan laurate. It is expected later the consumer can accept this formula. Transparent soaps containing catechins are formulated with three consentrates, 0 %, 0.25 %, and 0.5 % each of the formulas evaluated in the from of description, pH, foam power trial, the comparison showed no significant difference of formula 1,2 and 3.

Abstract

PT Toba Pulp Lestari, Tbk is one of the companies in Indonesia whose main activity is to produce pulp. The company uses eucalyptus wood as the main material. Broadly speaking, pulp making begins with the digesting process, which is the process of cooking chips with the addition of white liquor and steam. Then distributed to washing and screening, then O2 delignification which produces unbleached pulp. then bleached in the bleaching process in three stages. After that, the pulp is made into sheet pulp in the pulp machine process. In addition, the supporting process for producing the pulp, one of which is the recovery boiler. The recovery boiler has two functions, namely the main function as a steam generator and the side function of producing green liquor from recovery to be produced again into white liquor as a cooking liquid in the digester. The performance condition of an equipment can be measured based on the efficiency of an equipment. In thermodynamics, thermal efficiency is a dimensionless measure that shows the performance of thermal equipment such as internal combustion engines and so on.

Abstract

This research is purposed to measure the raw material of compost, the content of hara compost, exemine the best composition areca palm nut grain powder as compost raw material and comparing organe fertilizer specification that observed by Indonesian Nasional Standar of Compost (SNI). This studying is implemented in several term, the process of micsuring raw material and fermentation. The process of micsuring raw material is given three treatments in volume weight of compost raw material. The raw material used is areca palm nut powder, thitonia and chicken dust. Observed parameter during manuring process is temperature, humidity, aeracy and time inversion in three repeatation each observation. When the compost has been being ripe the examination hara substance done. (2 : 1 : 1) compost of areca palm nut powder compared with composition of the others with K.A 22,42 %, N 3,36 %, P 0,85 %, K 2,83 %, C 37,97 %, C/N 11,29 and pH 6,69. Areca palm seed nut powder etrety has been finished in Compost Quality Indonesia National Standar (SNI).
